Round 5 Results are up!

Bengal vs Gustavosuarez 3-4

Deustodo vs Lord Smeagle 2-4

Sorry Deustodo, but this was way too creative:

"Mystic Tomato" + 1 FIRE Warrior-Type monster

During your Draw Phase, instead of your normal draw, pick up 3 cards from the top of your deck. Add one of those cards to your hand, then remove the remaining cards from play to activate the following effect based on the cards removed:

Monster + Monster: Increase the ATK of 1 monster you control by 600.

Spell + Spell: Increase your Life Points by 1000.

Trap + Trap: Your opponent skips their next Battle Phase

Monster + Spell: Special Summon 1 "Mystic Tomato" from your Deck

Monster + Trap: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to half this card's ATK.

Spell + Trap: Draw 2 cards, then discard 2 cards.

I [Dark Mousy] was banned for 5 hours...

This was a backup account, I created when I lost my password some time ago...

But the following are round results.

[spoiler= Round Results]

I forgot to tell you all that I'm judging this round personally. Then I will make a separate thread for the final round.

Bengal went inactive, so...

Also, this is using my difficulty formula: 1.02^(-DD) * DD * score = Final Score. Score being holistic, meaning you start off with perfect (1), and I take marks off for every mistake.

DD = Degree of Difficulty

Gustavosuarez: Final Score: 5,46

33065p.jpg

This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:

●Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 Spellcaster-Type monster from your hand. If you do, the Summoned monster ATK becomes 0 and its effect(s) are negated. Destroy the Summoned monster during the end Phase of this turn. If you activate this effect, you cannot Summon other monsters this turn. Each time that a Spellcaster-Type monster is Summoned, place 1 Pharmacist Counter on this card (max. 1). Once per turn, you can remove a Pharmacist Counter from this card to increase your Life Points x the DEF of a Spellcaster-Type monster you control. When a Spellcaster-Type monster you control is destroyed by this card effect, you can remove 1 Pharmacist Counter from this card to inflict damage to your opponent’s x the original ATK of the destroyed monster. When this card is removed from the field, remove it from play.

Degree of Difficulty: 8,5

This was difficult. The idea seemed solid, it was relatively difficult to make a effect for the picture. Gustavo tried to get really creative with the card, but it ended up having a negative effect, in my opinion.

Score: 0,8

The introduction does not make any sense logically. How do you Normal Summon a monster that is already on the field? (- 0,05 mark.)

I am unsure if the (s) is needed (no penalty), essentially, you can SS 1 Spellcaster, that does effectively nothing. Let alone you cannot summon. On the balancing side, you get a Pharma counter, you get DEF of the monster that you SSed. The effect is slightly on the overpowered side, but being a Gemini... (no penalty)

The effect can be worded so much better. You can simply write it as discard a Spellcaster, you can't summon if you activate the effect, and the inflicting / healing effect. This is what I meant by it having a negative effect. What this ended up being was a better ROD. (-0,15 mark)

Lord Smeagle: Final Score: 5,27

186078w.jpg

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

When this card is Synchro Summoned, remove 1 Spell Card in your hand from play and place 5 Mana Counters on this card. This card's ATK is equal to the number of Mana Counters on it x500. If there are no Mana Counters on this card, return it to the Extra Deck. Apply the following effect based on the type of Spell Card removed:

Continuous/Field: This card's effect becomes the removed card's effect. During your End Phase, remove 1 Mana Counter from this card.

Normal: Once per turn, you may remove 1 Mana Counter from this card to activate the effect of the removed Normal Spell Card. Any effect damage inflicted to your opponent in this way is halved. If you activate this effect, this card cannot attack this turn.

Quick-Play: When this card attacks or is attacked, you can remove 1 Mana Counter from this card to activate the effect of the removed Spell Card.

Ritual: This card is also treated as a Ritual Monster. You may Tribute this card to Special Summon 1 Ritual Monster listed in the text of the removed Spell Card from your hand or Graveyard.

Equip: This card is treated as if it were equipped with the removed Spell Card.

Degree of Difficulty: 9,0

It seems like a lot of mixed up ideas, but still quite creative. Very unique, I must add. However, I don't like the effect length. I almost always penalize this via DD, as it is much harder to create a good effect with a short effect length, rather than a longer effect length.

Score: 0,7

Bullets! (-0,05 mark).

Continuous Field: Essentially what you have is a the Spell Card face-up on the field and with it's effect running for 5 turns. This is really easily abusive, as you can bypass some conditions.

Normal: Lightning Vortex abuse!, but you can't attack.

Quick Play: Shrink Abuse much?

Ritual: I have no problems.

Equip: I have no problems.

The effects are really abusive. Due to Lightning Vortex abuse, you effectively have your opponent not playing any face-ups for 5 turns! This, in my opinion is very abusive and OP, even for a 9 Synchro.(-0,2 mark). Also, the normal spell is not limited to your turn, which it should be (-0,05 mark).

Very good cards. I was very impressed. Congrats to Gustavosuarez, who advances to finals, and Lord Smeagle who gets 3rd place!

Yes' date=' you are in the final, too bad Icy perna banned Dark Mousy just because he disagreed with him in a discussion over MSN. So this contest will never have his end.

[/quote']

Way to go. Just way to go...

Dark Mousy refuses to tell you everything.

EDIT: This is straight out of the Mod Forum

You will find out about this sooner or later.

I sent this plea to all supermods' date=' and Falling Pizza. I said I have a backdoor...

I was IP Banned by Icy. I found a back door.

I was banned by Crab Helmet for 5 hours due to trolling, that's fine with me, my fault.

Icyblue then extended that to a Perma, after I tried to argue with him on MSN, he extended this to an IP ban.

The reasoning behind it was that I was that I was 'degrading' him, which was partly true due to a heated debate that risen from the YCM Interviews, My Analysis Thread, a few tests threads which he thought were spam, although I did provide him with the results, and the discussion of the future of RC.

Anyways, I think this is unfair. Even Ragnarok did not get a perma for flaming Icy. He did get a 2 month ban though (I believe). I cannot access the conversation files because I am banned, therefore I cannot present you any evidence.

But please reconsider this case.

Umm... What?

I kept this user to stop talking about YCM on MSN, as I find it royally disrespectful for that to be the only topic. And it kept making multiple accounts repeatedly. After being told not to. And expressed malicious intent many times. While the Perma on my fault may have been a bit extreme, the multiple accounts had started even during the lesser ban.

And instead of letting me have my space on MSN and quieting about YCM. I had no way of collecting myself and just letting it go. But this user wouldn't let me. Just yada yada yada yada yada... SHUT UP!!!!

And the reasoning isn't degrading. I called the actions degrading >_>" way to misinterpret what Im saying. As for the little thing between us... Why is it that everything I do relates to a god damned ban... GEEZUS CHRIST!

Ooh and his initial ban was 3weeks/3months. Not 5hrs.

I think this contest can be ended. You just need the points Dark Mousy had for the prizes and then you make a seperate 1 on 1 out of the final match.

Thanks though. You kept your promises. I do believe it was 5 hours unless unless I got the month and date switched. If that is the case, then 3 weeks was correct.

Just to let you know:

1)I did not make multiple accounts. They were already there. Check the date joined of this account.

2)As far as I know, I did not log-on to YCM, until 12:30 or so Eastern Time, and then I sent the appeal to the mods. I told you that I had a backdoor if you IP banned me. You decided to go ahead anyway.

3)As far as the repeatedly bugging you on MSN, I've explained that in a PM to you.
