Ami looked at the laptop image and agreed.

"hey! they do look similar! Maybe their related or something! That would be so cool...and scary at the same time."

 

Damian forced his suit to change to his human shape, this time without any problem, but it drained him slightly.

"...Fine..." Damian gave a feeling of irritation when he picked up speed again and hurried home. "By the way," he said via the runner's communication rather than the MAGI powers, "Was anyone worried about my mysterious one-day disappearance?"

IC: "Nope, you're a full time pro, remember? And you manage your own schedule. Your winnings bring home the bacon and allow me to be a stay-at-home mom and work on my novels."

A limo then pulled up alongside the two, and a bulter stepped out and opened the back door.

"Hey you lovebirds!" Delilah shouted. "I wanna talk to you for a second! But first, just let me answer this call!"

"Wel, let's go say hello to out adoptive sister..."

Damian muttered as he dismounted his runner. Despite the time lapse since they had converted Divine into Delilah, he still didn't completely trust her. His initial hatred has and always will remain for the being who had caused his life to become a living hell.

"Ok, but let's not stay too long - Ami and Yumi will be returning home soon...Assuming they saw the news, anyway..."

OOC: Say bye bye to Damian and Itsu.

IC: As they stepped into the limo, Itsu started to say "So how's everyt-" but she was hit with what looked like a giant taser, and slumped onto the floor of the limo.

Delilah, now with metal plates on her body and an Infinity eyepiece, turned the retracted taser to Damian.

"Goodnight, brother." she smirked as she prepared to fire the MAGI taser.

"I knew it! You snake! Why are you doing this?!" Damian hoped he could prolong the situation, but unfortunatley his MAGI form restored and his duel projector refused to work. Damian made a run for the door, but tripped on his own feet. he turned back and looked at Delilah. "...8 years and I never trusted you, and everyone thought I was just a grudge holding person...but now I see proof that you haven't changed!"

[The Warden]

Zak watched form his throne, he a smirk on his face. 'It appears those mindless robots couldn't get their job done, such a pity really, but it cannot be helped. No robot can truly win, since every one had their remote. I trust that their decks were destroyed once they lost. it would be terrible for our enemies to obtain the original Infinity cards'.

OOC: Actually, those were just copies.

All of the Yliaster Riding Roids have the old Infinity Monsters.

And they conveniently burned in the fire.

IC: "Oh I have changed." Delilah laughed as she fired the taser again, rendering damian unconscious too. She then hauled the two into her limo, which was now driven by a Riding Roid, who was the butler all along.

"Let's go back to HQ. We've got the bait. It's time to go Signer-fishing!"

OOC: I know. Bad line.

Ic:

Okoto walked around, seemingly bored. He looked left and looked right. He looked up and looked down. He saw two dueling. One side had a Destiny Hero Defender while the other had a Tyranno Infinity with 10400 ATK and seem to have a Big Bang Shot equipped. Okoto took out a small gem from his pocket.

 

As the Tyranno Infinity attacked the DHD and the DHD was destroyed, the blast that then hit the other boy, that boy actually felt the pain and then screamed as electrical currents went straight through his body. The boy then fell unconscious. The other boy then went to see the other one, confused. The boy took out his cell phone and then called someone.

 

Okoto then put the gem back into his pocket and walked away, unnoticed.

[Ace Daimon]

IC: "Why are you here, Vicky?" Aki finally got to the point of this conference after half an hour.

"Well, your daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughters are in grave danger, and my employer wants to take them into protective custody."

"And why would I let them go with you? What would make me want to help you?"

"Because the Infinity Monsters are back. And without the knowledge that my employer knows, this next generation of Signers will have much more difficulty than your own did."

Vicky then sent a video link to Aki.

"Just take a look."

Aki viewed the link, which was the same video feed Yumi had seen.

"Oh my god! They ARE back!"

"And these are just the ones they give to their servants. They have new Infinity Monsters that are much stronger than before."

Aki got up and looked out the window. Since she was on the 169th floor of the 203-story Executive Building, she closed her eyes.

"Tell me what I have to do."

"Hmm, The roids failed?...Looks like A bit of work still needs to be done on them..." Kana commented, before using his pda to look at the reckage.

"At least the decks were burnt.....Otherwise we can have been traced back.."

Ami was now running home as fast as she could. She kept looking back to make sure her sister wasn't too slow.

"C'mon, sis! Hurry up! This is serious!" She kept running, but then, she just stopped and her eyes temporarily glazed over and the mark on her arm glowed violently.

Something...Something has happened...something bad...VERY bad... She heard (in her head) the groans of her parents when they had been rendered unconsious, and even heard the words; 'Oh, I have changed', but it was slightly distorted. She was just standing there in the middle of the pavement hearing the sounds and speach over and over in her head, making her feel more worried each time.

 

ooc: time for a little wake-up call?

OOC: That's the last of Itsu and Damian that we'll see for a while.

IC: But as the two got home, there was a limo parked in front of their house. Trailing the limo was a two truck with two Duel Runners.

Their parents' Duel Runners.

A very offical-looking man motioned for them to step in the limo.

As they did so, they saw three women in the back.

One was blue-haired, with orange eyes and circuitry, the second was cloaked and hooded, so you just barely make out two rings of purple and a set of purple circuitry.

The thrid was an older woman dressed in a very offical-looking kimono with magenta hair and pink circuitry.

"Hello Ami, Yumi." the older woman spoke up.

"You probably know me as Municipal President Aki Fudo."

"But I am also your grandmother on your mother's side."

"We have a bit of a situation here..."

[The Warden]

Zak reached into his pocket and drew out his watch. In the light, an infinity symbol could clearly be seen on the cover. 'So, we possess the bait needed to draw out the signers. Who claims the honour of annihilating the first one?' he inquired. 'Naturally it doesn't matter, I just hope for some entertainment' he added as he shifted his legs into the crossed position..

IC:

 

Ami jumped at hearing this.

"Whoa! Our grandma's the municiple president? eep! And I've said all kinds of stuff about her..." Ami scolded herself, but still felt anxious, so she quickly restrained herself. "Wh..Why have you brought our parents duel runners...and where are they?" Ami feared she already knew the answer from when she spaced out.

IC: "Captured, most likely." the cloaked one spoke up.

"We...don't exactly know." Aki quickly tried to ease the girls' fears. "We found their Duel Runners at the wreck of the robot. They have vanished into thin air."

Aki then hugged the girls tightly.

"But it's going to be okay."

She then smiled and promised "I will do everything in my power to get them back."

The blue-haired woman spaced out for a second, then said "We found the Runners' access codes. Damian managed to send out a signal to the Runners that caused them to shut down and lock. They will only activate for the twins now."

The cloaked woman then pulled out a wicked-looking knife. "Then let's show them how to activate them."

The cloaked woman then reached for Yumi and plunged the tip of the knife into Yumi's chest, then started to rip downwards, causing her uniform, and flesh, to rip open.

Curiously, although Yumi felt pain, no blood surfaced from the cut.

The cloaked woman then tested the strength of Yumi's "skin", and then jerked hard on the skin, tearing it in two, and revealing a white and silver bodysuit underneath Yumi's skin that reached up to her neck. The cloaked woman then let Yumi drop to the floor.

Yumi then just lay there, gasping for air, in shock, oblivious to the rubbery second skin that has been a part of her since birth.

"Now it's the redhead's turn." the cloaked woman turned to Ami...

Ami froze.

"What the hell?!" she screamed out, jumping away from them all. "What have you just done to my sister?!" She was going red in the face with anger, and her eyes looked like they were glowing orange.

Okoto then started walking around the city at an inhuman speed, probably looking for something. In only a few minutes, he got back to where he started and was smiling.

IC: "Calm down, Ami." Aki reassured her. "We need to do this."

The cloaked woman plunged her blade into Ami's chest, just enough to cut the uniform and her "skin", but not enough to cause any blood to spew up. It did cause pain to Ami, who felt like the skin wasn't hers anymore, but just something wrapped tight around her chest, constricting her, like a snake skin that needed to be shed.

She couldn't breathe.

Then, the pain was gone, and she could breathe again. Her uniform, and the "skin" lay in tatters on the floor of the limo, leaving her with a similar bodysuit, but this one was a mixture of maroon and blood-red.

"There. Feel better?" Aki reassured her. The blue-haired woman was helping Yumi from off of the floor. "We just needed to get rid of the special synthetic skin you've been wearing all of your life up until now. Your mother has a similar set of skin that covers her, while your father can temporarily revert to human form."

"You aren't all that human, girls. You're just like the three of us: MAGI."

Okoto then started walking off at normal speed somewhere, still smiling.

 

OoC: I know what to call the prequel, RotSoL. I'll make it tomorrow as I live in different time from you guys. And I'm sleepy here.

Struggling to cope with this, Ami spluttered; "M--MAGI? S-So we're...?" Ami just couldn't speak. This was too much to take in all at once. Her eyes rolled up and she fell unconsious like her sister.

Floor 202, Executive Building, Neo Domino Government Complex, Neo Domino, Earth

1036 Hours Local Time

November 7th, 2050

 

Ami heard someone calling to her.

"Onee-chan...onee-chan!"

Ami opened her eyes to see that she was in a lavish bedroom with a giant window looking out over the entire southern part of the city and a huge bed, which she and her sister were now lying in.

"Morning, sleepyhead." Yumi had a crossaint hanging from her mouth when she said this, then motioned over to a plate filled with breakfast food.

Black, bored because no one answered his questions, left. He had other business to attend to in america.

Reiko was on his D-wheel, headed towards a job interview, he had totally bombed his entrance to the Pro leagues so currently, he was rather strapped for cash, and he had to buy a new alarm, so this wasn't going to be a good day for him if he didn't get the job.

"Sis...What...Why..." Ami got out of the bed, then looked at her hands. Then she remembered the events of when they were outside the house. Ami didn't want to think about it too much so she just went to eat. "...Yumi...What exactly happened back there? And...I just still don't understand it all..."

IC: "I don't really understand it all either." Yumi replied, handing a danish to Ami.

"I just woke up about 10-15 minutes ago myself. I looked out the window, and then walked around a bit. We're in some sort of hotel in the Government Complex. I then noticed the food, and woke you up."

"But this whole MAGI thing, I don't know."

"For one thing, why aren't our faces all Lite-Brite like Mom, Dad, and Aki?"

"And why can't we do any of the cool stuff MAGI are supposed to do, like access machinery with our minds or surf the Net in our heads?"

"Furthermore, why did they conceal all of this from us?"
