Ami woke up shortly. She had another awful nightmare.

"I really must stop my Tails Doll obsession before I go nuts..." she muttered. She got up and went for a glass of water, then returned to bed. She knew that whenever she had those nightmares, her mind always made her see a red light in the corner of her eye, so this time was no exception. As she fell asleep again, she unfortunately heard a voice in her head say;

CaN YoU FEeL ThE SuNSHInE?, leaving her with only one thought;

I REALLY must read better fanfics...

Unlike Neo Domino, which had weather-manipulation grids that created a brisk, warm climate with the occasional shower and the occasional minor fluctuation in temperature, Albion, the nation that used to be the southern half of the United Kingdom, suffered from its usual type of weather:

Rain.

Lots of rain.

But Tori Atlas wasn't worried about the rain. She knew it wouldn't cause her to miss her flight.

The young woman had received some sort of cryptic dream a few days ago, telling her to go the the "mission in the mountains" to "bring the moon out from hiding".

She asked Vicky what it meant, and they both began searching for a mission in any mountain chain, but found nothing about a moon.

Until yesterday, when Tori accidentally capitalized the word "mission" when searching on Google.

She found Mission Hospital, the regional medical center for Asheville, North Carolina, in NorAU, and a story in the Asheville Citizen-Times on one of the hospital's most prominent residents: a woman named Luna who has been in a coma for 8 years.

Vicky secured plane tickets for Tori and Kiana, Tori's "spirit partner", and now the girl and her cat-that-wasn't-really-a-cat were about to set off on an adventure.

But they had to tell Mum and Dad first.

"Mum, Dad, can I talk to you?"

OOC: Lugia, can you play Jack?

Y-Tak has agreed to play Carly.

OOC: I've played Carly at some point in time on both RotEI and RotAM, and I d*** well plan on playing Carly here!

IC: Carly turned to face her daughter.

"Yes, sweetie, what's the matter?"

Carly couldn't help but notice herself and her husband of 27 years in Victoria, who had a face that was more similar to Carly's but had some of the angularity of Jack, and had a darker version of Carly's own dark-green hair, but had Jack's royal purple eyes.

It's just so hard to believe she's only 9. Carly thought. She looks like she should be a few years older than that, but she acts like she's an adult.

If only she knew the truth about Vicky...

OOC: Jack it is for a short while. And lol, my TD reference a while back.

IC: Jack groaned since he was a bit busy. He still looked at his daughter.

"Yes, as your mother said, what is it?"

IC: Tori was a bit hesitant, but then Kiana gave her a bit of a mental prodding.

"Umm...do you two remember Luna? I think she was about my age when you first met her..."

Jack looked pale and shocked at the mentioning of Ruka. He gulped and then answered.

"...Yes. I recall Ruka. She was a lovely young girl when we met her...Your mother didn't know much of her for a while because she always stalked me." he seemed to lightly smile. "...She apparently used to go into comas often, and she said she could go to the spirit world. She also was a signer, like me and my friends. Her brother Rua was always jealous of her."

IC: Tori ran back into her bedroom and brought out her laptop, and brought up the article on Luna.

"Well, she's been in the Spirit World for the past 8 years. Ever since A-Day."

She knew her parents didn't like to talk about A-Day, and that mentioning that was a touchy subject.

"I have to go in and rescue her."

Jack thrust his fist onto a nearbyt surface.

"WHAT?! NO! I WON'T ALLOW IT!!" It took Jack a while to calm down. "...Sorry. But I just don't want you to try going there, you could end up LIKE Ruka herself, and I would never be able to forgive myself for that."

IC: On the other hand, Carly wondered why their daughter felt this obligation.

"Calm down, Jack." She placed her hand on his shoulder.

"Honey, why do you feel like you need to go to Asheville and help Luna?"

IC: Tori stammered a bit.

"B-Because...a dream...told me to..."

[Merci]

TVs, computers, phones, ATMS, and everything else with a screen everywhere suddenly changed to an emergency announcement....

There was an old man standing. The same one from before. He was talking.

 

"I'll say this again. If you are a duelist, then it's best you stay inside. Today, on Jupiter, millions of duelists suddenly died. Their cards have all been taken. Yet there is nothing wrong with the body, no harm, no anything, expect that it is just...dead.... Scientists still have yet to figure out the cause.....The same event happened a little while. It is currently unknown as to-"

The TVs, computers, phones, ATMS, and everything else with a screen everywhere then suddenly turned back to their normal displays.

 

Meanwhile, at the broadcast center.....

Protheus, now standing in front of the man, scared, kept torturing the man with Sparks (The card) over and over again. "The card, hand it over." he said.

 

The old man, feeling a little braver, shouted "NEVER! That card is part of the hope that might save us!"

 

"So be it." Protheus then grabbed the old man's head and-

"Master, I have found it!" said a feminine voice from somewhere around the building.

"Good......"Protheus then let go of the man's head only to take out his Cross and behead.....the man....

Jack calmed again, but still felt tense.

"...A dream? What exactly happened in the dream?"

IC: "Well, Kiana and I were floating in some sort of darkness, then we were flying through the air, watching a Turbo Duel unfold below us. These three MAGI were fighting two creeps with strange monsters that were each five monsters that were also one monster."

"Then, Vicky came in on a really cool Duel Runner and blasted the creeps to bits!"

"Afterwards, the darkness came again, but after a little while, a light appeared.

"This blue and gold dragon with green hair and fairy wings descended from the light, telling me that I must go save Luna and bring her back, and that it's time for her to return to our world."

"She, the dragon, didn't really say it like that, but made it like it was some sort of cryptic prophecy or something."

"But Kiana turned into a dragon herself and started yelling at the first dragon, ranting on about 'exile from my home' and 'imprisonment in this cursed body', but then I felt this burning on my right arm."

"Then I woke up."

Jack looked like someone who was about to die of a heart attack after hearing that.

"...Ancient Fairy Dragon?...Prophecy?...Told?...You?...Woke?" he felt overwhelemed. He finally gave up, swallowing his pride. (ooc: tasted awful. IC: ) "Then I suppose you must go...I thought you were just crazy...But if this is the case...go."

Okoto then appeared again, bowing in front of Protheus, who was looking at 2 particular cards. "URANUS and JUPITER, eh? I still have to research these. They have such remarkable energy...." Protheus said.

 

Okoto asked if he could look at the cards. Protheus threw the 2 cards at him like darts and Okoto luckily caught them. He then looked at the cards.

 

 

"I'll be placing these in the hands of experts." Protheus began. Okoto immediately stood up. "No, not you, brother."

 

Okoto then went back to his knees, disappointed.

Bio: The most loyal follower of Protheus. He was one of the very first Dark Signers to enter the world, commanding Aslla Piscu. He is now a mere shadow of his former self. His soul has been consumed by the King of the Underworld and his personality with it. A little while ago, he managed to take out the evil in the now-purified Aslla Piscu and then reform it as the new Earthbound Immortal Aslla Piscu, he regards it as the original Aslla Piscu's 'son' although it's more of a clone.

IC: Carly had already started the car by the time Jack had helped Tori finish packing.

The entire family drove to the airport, not saying a word, and went through security until Tori was at the gate.

Carly knelt down and gave her daughter a big hug.

"Be safe."

Tori's carry-on luggage, Kiana, mewed, and Carly realized the plane was boarding.

OOC: The duel between Tomoe, Ami, and Yumi was interrupted, but Vicky owned the Yliaster members who did it.

Mezz is pissed as all get out.

Protheus has returned with his own faction, which has the two missing Planet Monsters.

Tori is going off to save Luna from the Spirit World.

And the twins are sleeping, again.

Joan was back hanging in the Yliaster HQ, waiting for someone to send him on a mission.

Ic: Protheus stood up and started walking towards a room. He opened it. There was Viligance, lying there like an empty shell, that is, until Protheus entered. Viligance immediately stood up at the sight of Protheus. Protheus threw the JUPITER card at Viligance like a dart. Viligance grabbed it and looked at it.

 

"It....is slightly recognizable....." Viligance said.

"This card will be under your care." Protheus then said.

"So be it....Master......"

 

The card then suddenly disappeared. "I'll see to the survival of the card."

OOC: Could have sworn that Placido was teleporting all over the place with his sword.

James, still remembering the giant robotic creature, thought, 'how did they get such a card? i've never seen anyting like it.' he looked at inferno wing dragon (signer dragon) 'yet, i've neve seen anything like you eithertil you fell out of nowhere.'

Jack nodded and hugged his daughter.

"Like your mother said, be safe...Or else I'll be the one suffering." he walked away, crying inside knowing the risks.

Protheus then entered another room. It was just an empty room with a bed, and a window.
