IC:James was almost at the arena when he saw Gaial. "W...wow! that's a big monster!" He sped to the arena where we saw three kids on d-wheels and two odd men, one controling the creature. "This is going to be good." James sat in the stands and watched.

OOC: HOLY CRAP, WHAT HAVE I MISSED?!?!?!

 

IC: Black was riding around on his Duel Runner. He saw a turbo duel, and he decided to watch. Little did he know who the duelists were.

OOC; Sorry for not posting, My internet got Knocked out for 4 days or so...

 

"My Turn, Draw!" He shouted, pulling the top card of his deck. he paused for a moment as he Looked at the teams Fields, Noticing the Infinity Monster.

IC: Vicky finally reached the track, where she saw several other duelists gathered, watching the new meat.

Her Duel Runner, a large, black, one-wheeled vehicle reminiscent of the Brute Chopper from Halo, appeared nearby, dropped off by a black CTV-103 "Hatchet" support vertol, and was ready for her to hop inside and rev the monstrosity up.

Time to end this duel before it gets out of hand.

OOC: Me me me, I'm bored.

 

IC: 'This duel is so very tiresome, not the entertainment I had hoped for' Zak remarked. 'Those signers, an archfiend deck and a dragunity deck. Decktops I have not seen in a while or period. They will make interesting sport, but, to get the signers, would we have a greater chance if we remove those that would deny us. Director Aki is a viable target'.

OOC: I'm also bored. I want something cool to happen, like Ami (or Yumi) summon a synchro which gets absorbed by an infinity...But no, I think maybe if it was just interrupted, then things would be MUCH LESS BORING. seriously, how long has this game gone on for? I rather lose the game (CARD GAME, NOT THAT GAME...Dang I lost) than keep on playing for the same amount of time the anime and mooninites do them - about up to 2 millenia. In a 0-gravity envrionment. The losers die of Asphyxiation. The Winners also die.

 

IC: Ami quickly turned a wrong corner.

"oops..." Now she was going the opposite way to everyone else! "Damn whoever designed the Manual Riding Duel System! Damn James Apocritikimotou Kanashini Shini No Kami!!"

IC: Yumi was about to start her turn, when a large, strange-looking Duel Runner shot onto the track. The driver then turned her Duel Runner so that it was facing Itosuki and Kana and executed the possibly cheapest way to win a Turbo Duel:

She blew their tires out with the 30mm autocannons mounted on the sides of the giant wheel her Duel Runner was built around.

"WAAAH!!! What was that about!?" Ami shouted as loud as she could - (ooc: It would Make Jonouchi wince) - IC: She got so frustrated when she saw on her duel computer (because she was away from everyone else) that the two opponents had suddenly vanished from the screen, that she lost her balance, causing her to begin spiraling towards a building. "HEEEE---"

 

Ami blacked out as she crashed, her cards flying around her.

IC: Yumi pulled over next to her injured sister, then realized that Ami was unconscious, and she was bleeding profusely.

"OMG AMI!!!" she wailed, and started to sob.

"Move over. I'll handle it." Vicky tore past Yumi and knelt next to Ami, then placed her ponter finger to each of the wounds on Ami's body. Instantly, the wounds had started to patch over with some sort of black substance.

"I've sent some of my nannies to serve as 'scabs' until Ami's own bodysuit becomes fully activated. Her own self-repair systems should start to activate shortly, but until the two of you get your activation codes, you might as well be normal."

"That's why I'm taking a few...precautions..."

Vicky quickly whipped a katana out of her back and sliced Yumi across the chest, from her right shoulder down to her left thigh. Vicky then did the same thing she did to Ami, and a large black strip now ran across Yumi's chest.

"There. Now you both have regenerative abilities, albeit very limited."

Vicky tore away on her Duel Runner before Tomoe could get to the unconcscious twins.

Ami, after a while, began to open her eyes.

"W...Wha......What....Happened...?" she groaned, she felt too weak to move, but felt surprised that the crash hadn't caused her to die or get very badly hurt. How...How come I'm ok..>?

"Crap Crap Crap!" Itosuki said as he began slowing down and eventaully came to a stop. "Well we saw the info, lets go Kana." Itosuki said and with a pouting look on his face, pulled out the knife and teleported back to base. Miss Soprano is not going to be happy about this he thought as he transported through space and time.

Okoto, bowing down to the dark man in the dark throne coveredby dark people, reported about the duel he saw. The man stood up.

 

"Is that all you have to tell me?" he said.

"Yes." Okoto replied.

 

The man then reached out for a onyx cross with a red piece of string on it from his back. "It is time to take action."

Zak chuckled as Itosuki lands in his throne. 'Charming little match you had there, mores the pity that I could have had more fun by having my toenails clipped' Zak remarked. 'As amusing as you were, your dueling is most lacklustre. You sacrificed an entire deck full of cards just to summon your emporer' Zak continued.

OOC: Yliaster doesn't have teleporters!

IC: Indeed, Mezza was quite upset.

"You fools! The woman that wrecked your Duel Runners was the 'Ringed Hand'!"

Mezza showed them the feed from Itosuki's Duel Runner, then paused at the strange woman in black. She then zoomed in to the strange woman's hand, which had an odd silver ring on it.

"The Pope has a golden ring called the 'Ring of the Fisherman', which is a symbol of his office. The seal used to create this ring is one-of-a-kind, and is only used to create that Ring."

"But there are rumors of a few of the Popes having special assassins, called 'Ringed Hands', which carry a silver version of the Ring of the Fisherman as their badge."

"This is Pope Urban VII's Ringed Hand! She is probably the most dangerous person in the System!"

"AND SHE'S ON THE SIGNER'S SIDE!!!!!"

IC: Ami and Yumi were now back in their suite in the Executive Building, but Yumi had some sort of black scar across her chest, that seemed to be slowly going away.

"You have black spots on you too." Yumi replied, weakly.

"I don't know exactly what happened but that woman from before, she helped both of us."

"She also gave us a message."

Yumi pulled a laptop over, showing their GMail accounts. Both of the sisters had the same email, wanting them to be at the New Domino side on-ramp to the Satellite-New Domino bridge at 2000 hours.

"That's 8:00 PM tomorrow night. It's currently 3:12 in the morning."

"Yumi weakly put up the laptop, snuggled into the bed, and pulled the covers over her.

"Goodnight."

IC: Mezza was still upset at the two Yliaster members.

"You know what? I'm putting down some ground rules:"

"#1. No using Infinity Monsters unless you absolutely have to."

"#2. No one leaves to go fight Signers unless they have my approval."

"#3. If you break these rules, I will personally take all of your childrens' trading cards away from you, then cut you down on the spot!"

"Do I make myself clear?"

[The Warden]

'Yes mother' Zak said mockingly. 'But I must agree on one stance. Those that ally with the signers are dangerous and I believe should be dealt with before the signers. There are many prime targets that our organisation should take out before we target the signers. I propose that we should utilise our time and energy into locating and eliminating potential and current signer allies'.

[Merci]

The man stood up, now surrounded by thousands of people covered in shadows. "Yliaster and the Signers are our targets. Our goal is to destroy them. And to obtain their Emperors and Dragons. Every. Last. One. Of them."

 

He then walked out of the shadows, revealing his face at last.....

Ami agreed with her sister and also clmbed weakly into bed, finding falling asleep no trouble, bizarrely.

IC (Mezza): Mezza then began to laugh uncontrollably, as if Zak had just told the funniest joke in the world.

IC (Tomoe): Tomoe sat on her bed, tending to her wounds, or at least, taking a soldering pen and cauterizing the various scrapes she had received that day. Her body would heal on its own, but sealing up her wounds helped speed up the process so that she didn't lose any of the various liquids that replaced her vital fluids, such as the nutrient carrier that kept her surviving organs alive, or the oil-like fluid that was rich in the materials used in her nannies' self-replication.

She also reflected on the day, wishing that SHE hadn't showed up.

Why did whoever now holds Vicky's leash set her loose? She wondered to herself.

And what in the world is she planning, inviting the twins to something at 8:00 tomorrow?

Unfortunately, Tomoe's questions were left unanswered for another 17 hours, 23 minutes, and 29 seconds...

Meanwhile,

 

TVs, computers, phones, ATMS, and everything else with a screen everywhere suddenly turned on and it had an emergency announcement....

There was an old man standing. He was talking.

 

"Attention, people. If you are a duelist, then it's best you stay inside. Within 1 hour, across the globe, thousands of duelists suddenly died. Their cards have all been taken. Yet there is nothing wrong with the body, no harm, no anything, expect that it is just...dead.... Scientists have yet to figure out the cause....."

 

The man then took a deep breathe. "It is very essential you stay inside. Someone....Something.....Is lurking......right where......you are......."

BOOM!

"No long-distance service my ass!" Vicky ranted as telephone booths dropped from an Endangered Species to a Critically Endangered Species.

Vicky had been trying to covertly contact her various Swiss Guard agents and His Holiness via telephone booth, but that plan failed since Satellite had neglected updating their phone system for several decades.

Of course, such archaic and primitive systems were now obsolete in this magnificent Nano Age, where you could have a face-to-face, real-time conversation with someone on the other side of the Solar System in the blink of a eye.

Vicky silently swore at everything having to do with planned obsolenscense, breaking yet another Commandment.

She then swore even more when she relaized she was overdue for a confessional.

Again.

She decided to do that before she tested the girls.

Which, considering what she had in mind, would probably require another confessional the day after.
