Medley Masterpiece: The first Music Fantasy RP (basic)(started/accepting)

IC: "ALright I guess." She msiled.

[Compass]

OoC: Time for that time traveling.

 

IC: Toh sighed. "Good. ANyway, nice to see you in real life." He smiled, and left to try to finish the game.

 

LATER! (End of the school day?) Toh had managed to finish his homework, and got online, to the guild room. He checked on how the wepons order was coming along.

Dan had managed to get back to the guild in time to finish the order, with enough time to spare to run them through a full testing. He had packaged them and post a message to the customer to pick them up when ready.

 

After that, he logged out for awhile. Dan found reality dull compared to the game. In fact, he did some of his real life job will in the game: computer programming and design. His current project; the base codes for a full immersion gaming system, complete with an IV supply for up to 36 hours of play. the data looked good but the physical aspect wasn't. Another drawback to the real world. Dan sighed, sent of his latest codes to the company and got some food, then hit the sack.

Melody (sorry for not posting name, forgot it XD) sighed as she reached home. Lucky for her, no one was home. She msiled, glad to be alone for hours on end while her stepdad ran amuck very drunk. she logged onto the game and appeared on the grassy hill again. She msiled to herself in real life before fully enteringt he game like she alwyas did.

[MacaruOsamaru]

Nocturn logged on and was approached by a Gravity guilds member. "Hey, the boss wants you, it's about the key" He walked into the small room where his boss resided.

"you wanted to see me."

"Yes, you must take this key and break into the small guard tower near the west wall, find out what their hiding and steal it."

"Okay." Nocturn walked out of the guild into the crisp air. he began walking the almost mile to the west tower.

Ooc: sorry i wasn't on i was trick or treating.

Dan woke up to a tone from his computer. It was a email from the guy who ran the Diamond head branch of the Guild. Dan groaned as he read it.

 

"Dan Kurome, the time has comefor you to undergo your next grading test. Please be at the Guild Headquarters as soon as possible."

 

Dan sighed. In his cguild, members were ranked by a four part code; colour, clarity, cut and carat. Colour was either E,S or R (emerald, sapphire or ruby). The other three were ranked from zero to nine. Clarity was the amount of magic you could do in your colour, cut was the understanding and how innovative you were and carat was the amount of magic you could do without wearing your self out. Dan test was to increse his hundred rank (clarity) rating. the test: Life molding. Basically summoning a NPC using your game data as a base and a song to mold the body. Dan sighed. 'Might as well get it over with,' he thought as he logged in.

Soul found a message for him to pick up the goods as soon as he needed them. He sent a guild member to pick them up, then looked at other notices. Nothing new, the usual. He sighed. Nothing changed much around his guild. He desided to go for a walk, and saw the usual, as well. SOmeone on a misson to try to break into the gaurd tower, and the like. He aproached the hill where he had met Apple.

[Rook Bishop]

Hira hadn't eaten in days so when he finally had a break. He ate a table full. After his mighty meal, he went to the computer only to find several emails that was in a endless stream. "If endless." Hira type on the computer and log on.

 

Rekut was listening to his headphone when he saw a cart passing by him. (Interesting...) Rekut slowing follow the cart until it stop at a guild called Ryuusuto-mu. (I wonder.)

Nocturn finally made it to the guard tower and used the key to unlock the door. he was surprised to see that the tower was deserted. He walked down the stairs to the basement nothing, then he went up the stairs to the treasure vault. He stopped outside the vault when he saw a group of dead guards. "That explains the guards, but who did this?" He walked over the bodies and to the large steel door to the vault. he played a song and made the door crush under it's own wait. He walked inside the vault and saw a puddle of Silver liquid along with a data pad and a small Faction Badge that looked like a Sub Nova badge, but was completely black. He picked up both of them and heard a sound, he turned around and the puddle had started forming into something. he sprinted out of the tower and down a side street. He ran to the hill, but saw someone there. "Dang no one's ever here." he said to himself, he walked over to Soul still breathing hard and collapsed.

[Compass]

Soul bent down to Nocturn. "It's the flirt." He said to himself. "I"m not very usefull at this sort of thing..." He sighed, and tryed to make Nocturn as comfortable as possible.

Dan quivered in his shoes as he stood in the center of the testing room.

"Life molding creates either a familier or a summon. You may begin," The guild master's voice echoed. With a gulp, Dan ran through the song he'd devised for the life molding. He started to tone the base melody, the one that descriped the portion of his game data is would uses as a core. After, he added layer after layer of tones and beats. Streams of material from the air and coiled around a pulsating, glowing sphere and soon a large ball, at least 10 feet in diameter was floating above the ground. Dan's song was almost ten minutes long and when it finally ended, the ball settled to the floor.

 

A small doorway opened in the side of the room and the guild master walked in. "Seems to be a pretty decent size, you might have a good on here," he said. "Touch it and announce the name to establish how dominace and secure the transfer cord." The transfer chord was a short melody that was printed on the creatures collar and enabled immediate summoning without having to remake it.

Nodding, Dan did as he was told. "You are now called Uri!" The ball shattered, revealing, not the powerful beast Dan was expecting, but a small kitten. "You've got to be kidding me!"

 

The guild master laughed and said, "He's yours now. I'll send your ranking later. Get out of here kid."

Dan numbly agreed and picked up his new kitten (who angrily clawed him) and wandered out into the streets, looking like the living dead, one with a cat on his head.

Nocturn sat up suddenly. "Ugh my head." he fell back over, but sat up slowly. "Who are you?"

[Compass]

"You alright? Keep down, and tell me what happened." Soul smiled.

[MacaruOsamaru]

"I was supposed to Break into the west tower, but someone beat me there, the slaughtered all the guards and took whatever was in there. I had to walk past all the bodies into the vault, but all i found was this stupid black crystal. and then as i was about to leave this puddle of silver goo began to morph into a person shape, so i sprinted out of there and ran all the way here, but...then i collapsed and when i was unconscious i saw things. people, no, guards. they were fighting that thing, it was horrible. they couldn't even hurt it, and when they died they didn't disintegrate and respawn at the castle like normal, they just stayed there, dead." Nocturn pulled out the crystal. "And this is all that was left there, this and that goo puddle.

Dan sat on a bench near the hill and held Uri by the scuff of his neck.

"Why a pipsqueak kitten like you," Dan sighed. "And your so cute I can't send you back to my save profile and treat you like a summon so I'm stuck with you as a familier. Besides, I don't even know how to the profile." What other dtrange thing would happen today?

[Compass]

"Calm down...I'm Soul, leader of the order of the fallen sun. Just calm, and breathe. I'm going to see if I can get a...aquantance to help. Perhaps she knows more about this." He layed him back down, and went to see if Apple was around, or inside the game. SHe said that she didn't like reality, though.

[MacaruOsamaru]

Nocturn looked at the crystal as if entranced by it, he stared deep into it with a blank look on his face. In his mind he saw a cave with a bunch of people in it, they were all crowding around a pedestal with a black knight standing behind it, he could see that the man was talking, but couldn't hear anything.

ooc: zaneko i wanted to get Uri. I got to choose another one. lol Also you do know I sneaking in your guild.

 

Rekut was in the hall looking around. (My My....This place is as good as our.) Rekut saw a book in a stand and downloaded it. "There rules are more troublesome though. Who ever heard of ranking people? And he wonder why I don't want to be leader." Rekut sighed until he heard footsteps. He saw hide and saw a man carrying book, music notes, and scrolls. (That the man I saw, but he not of this guild. Is he a suppiler?" Rekut went into the room the man came from.

Dan sighed and returned to his clan's base. It was more or less empty, the player workers logged off and the NPCs out making deliveries. Uri squirmed from his grasps and scampered off. "Hey, Uri! Come back here!"

Uri ran around a corner, mewwing happily. Dan followed him, and crashed into Duke, the non-affiliated Notary of the area.

 

"Sorry Duke, let me not get in your way."

"Thats alright. I heard you were getting your rankind done today so I came to record your status change for the official records."

"Is that all?" Dan said mockingly. Duke was known as an unwanted pest among the guilds, constantly looking for mistakes and errors in a guilds records. He was also responsible for monitering the tax returns. "The boss hasn't released then yet."

"Ok then. I have no further business hear then." Duke puffed himself up importantly and huslted out. Dan sighed and snatched up Uri, who was sniffing at the door to the records room.

 

"Wait a minute," Dan wondered out loud, "Why is this door open?" Concerned and ready for anything, Dan entered and proceeded down the stairs.

 

 

 

OoC: If any one wants him, use him. The way I see it, a Notary would have high summoning and sealing magic.

[Rook Bishop]

"Interesting.." Rekut was reading the scrolls and books. "So that how you do it. My my I could they even afford this. Is any of this stuff legal in the game?" Rekut rose his head and quickly hid as he heard someone coming. He was behind some books making marking on the wall.

[zaneko]

OoC: don't go making my guild seem like some illegit bussiness no. We do every thing buy the book. Nothing underhanded. Remember, the Notary just left this room. :(

 

IC: Dan stopped at the foot of the stairs. He immediatly knew that someone aside form a guild member and Duke was in there. Holding Uri by his scruff, Dan grimly pulled his instument collar into position. He lightly exhaled, toning so quietly it could heard. He located the intruder.

"Gotcha!" he toned. The wall behind Rekut shoot out tentacles that wrapped around Rekut's neck, hands, feet, waist and parts of all three instuments.

 

"Ryuusuto-mu guild is divided into four branches," Dan toned grimly. The tentacles drew Rekut against the wall and became rock solid agin. "Diamond- the great knights, Ruby- the combat warriors, Sapphire- the calm samuria and, finally, Emerald- the stealthy ninja. We specalise in spying and stealth. Don't think you can raid us, Remnant guild member Rekut."

"Now, what is it that you want? Your way off if your looking for the order desk."

[Rook Bishop]

ooc: He never seen such powerful stuff ever before, so he kinda wondering if this any of this stuff was modded. I refering that your guild had top of the line spells and scrolls.

 

Rekut smiled. "Just gather knowledge." Rekut suddenly turn to dust. Dan notices that the wall had an opening in it. Rekut was in a tree when he sense he decoy got capture. "My my... I believe they live up to want they say." Rekut made a scroll appear. "To think they had so much knowledge that I couldn't download all of it. I wanted to know all they had." He sighed. "Oh well...I found something interesting anyway." Rekut made his way to his guild.

Dan held up the illusion of being annoyed for an instant longer before laughing. What Rekut didn't seem to realize was that the songs he stole were useless to him for three reasons.

For one, the could only be used by members of the Ryuusuto-mu. The all had a special code inserted into their character data when they joined and had it delete when they were evicted. Secondly, the songs were missing important chords that were taught orally and lastly, the thoses spells were all rank five or lower, nothing above being able to make weapons free formstle. Dan sighed and started to clean up.

[spoiler=Members Read Me] I will have to take over a second character to progress in the story, his name is Jutlin and he has this appearance he is dark element and is a vigils character, you don't actually know that. you don't know what faction he is a part of but his faction form looks like this his instrument is a guitar made out of silver goo material

 

Ic: Jutlin appeared in the Ryuusuto-mu Guild near Dan, he turned and walked over to the shelf's of scrolls, he began to rummage through them.
