Medley Masterpiece: The first Music Fantasy RP (basic)(started/accepting)

Well, much of the credit for this RP goes to my friend Lunar Roze for inspiring me, and therefore she will have joint ownership of this RP.

[spoiler=Story] Alright so this is pretty simple a new video game was released that is the newest and most advanced in Virtual Reality, unfortunately a mysterious group known only as the Vigils have formed up and created special creature that act as viruses in this game sending people into mysterious coma's. One of the people at your school Sacred Soul has been sent into a coma. This man is Josh, he was just an average kid, but when he goes missing the game becomes taboo at the school. All ov you want to bring the game back and solve this whole thing, or not. maybe you just like the game your choice. but the game Medley Masterpiece is built in a fantasy kingdom called Allegro. all of the characters use an instrument to channel the magic that is their greatest weapon. But when the Vigils suddenly begin assassinating seemingly random people the game is sent into disarray and a random tournament is held, no one knows what is to happen next.

 

[spoiler=Elements] Every character has an element that allows them to use song to channel this element in many ways. You can use any basic element that you can think of. EX:fire thunder wind, no Lava Ice Space.

 

[spoiler=Faction] okay this is where you need to be creative. there is a large city caled the city of guilds where the factions meet. you get to make up your own faction but keep to these guidelines:1 It has to been sort of a force EX: Sub Nova, Frost, Aurora (It can be something different like Sentinel or Dragon, but you have to pm me.)2 You need what is called a faction Form that you can morph into after pulling off a combo. EX: Sub Nova's form you get covered in flames and your instrument gets changed to a flame form. (Be creative In Sentinel you get light armor and a targeting reticule. you have a small floating robot that can have fire rockets at targets.)3 and final. You need a Faction Blast(Like limit break) an attack that you can use that uses all your energy EX: Sub Nova= Super Nova where you summon a giant fire ball and throw it at you enemy and it explodes.4 oh's noes i lied. this is simple all you have to do is come up with a symbol. Now as you can see your faction form is great, but your faction also allows you to use special attacks outside of your element so a water sub nova person can still shoot fire balls even though it's not their element.

 

[spoiler=instrument] Every person uses an instrument to channel their magic, you can use ANY i mean ANY instrument that you can find a picture of. You can use everything from drums to Kanun if you really want to.

 

[spoiler=the Vigils] If you would like you can make a character for the vigils, and if you do i will pm you all the fancy pants vigil stuff that only you and other vigils will know about. If you want to post your app like normal without any special thing, but in the "your side" box write vigils not anything else.

 

[spoiler=Your side] alright this is simple, you can be either a person who wants to find Josh(hero of Vaccine), a member of the vigils and knowingly spread the virus(The Vigils), or you can be a normal player who enjoys the game(User).

 

[spoiler=The world of Medley Masterpiece] well since this is way to complicated to put into words, i will create a map and scan it so you can see, expect that to be up in a few days as its a very big world.

 

[spoiler=Other Key Points]

1. don't spam Faction Mode as it is supposed to be used when you pull of a good combo only, and Faction Blast's are only used as a last resort.

2. There are things called arches that act as portals to far sections of the world, and all lead to the City of Guilds.

3. Forgot to put this in the faction part, when you make your faction make a job set that they do, EX Sub Nova= Heating the cities Sentinel= the guards of the city.

Rank: Higher end, but still a ways from the Guild Master.

The guild is divided into three clans; Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire based on the aspects of storm magic they use. Emerald Clan members use mostly Raiu, Makaze and Boufuu (Thunder, Devil and wind storm), Ruby uses Yoarashi, Kokufuu and Sunaarashi (Night, sky darkning(pioson) and Sand Storms), Sapphire uses Sansai, Fubuki and Aranami (Flood and storm, Snow storm and Stormy seas)

Faction Blast: He holds his viola with both arms, pointing the big part at the enemy. After some epic title, of which I will come up with later, a gigantic beam of twineing light and dark flys out. As soon as he moves from his postion, the beam dissappears, but as longt as it is there, he can control it, like a puppet.

Inherent abilities: Has some darkness ablities, but can be damaged when he uses them.

Job: Tries to save wanders who are attacked randomly.

Faction Blast: Spirits that were invisible appear around the user. They chant something in a strange language as they circle the opponenet. Since they are spirits, the opponent cannot wipe them or destroy themat the present time unless exorcist. they circle faster and faster, making the enemy glow. To them, the user now looks like a demon as thye attack the enemy.

Inherent abilities: able to control spirits that are from dead bodies

Job: create goods/rid people of evil haunting spirits

Ic: Nocturn walked over to a group of his fellow guildsmen. "Alright, shall we go now." on eof them turned to him and told him to go on ahead of them. Nocturn walked over to a door with the gravity symbol on it. He played a soft song and the door opened. He walked out into the city of guilds, as he walked out a knight in silver armor jumped down and walked over to him. "Move." the knight stepped aside and Nocturn walked towards the Arch Tower.

Toh sighed to himself, sitting along the table with the fellow guildspeoples. He was competely, and utterly bored.

IC: Applesauce wondered about the headquaters for the Origin of Lost Souls guild. She already ahd thier next plan planned out. Their newest mission was to excorsize some evil spirits quite a ways away form their headquaters.

Dan yawned as he leaned against the door frame to his private workspace. With a sigh, he examined the room. Several of his subordinates were hard at work at different stations. He watched as a group played their instuments, filling the air with beautiful, music, and noticed a simple garden hoe taking shape from the material infront of them.

 

Dan sighed again. Most of the people working were making average, unexciting household items. Sure, it was business and they were making good money but it was just so DULL! What Dan really wanted was someone (preferbly from a guild so they could get some advertising) to come order some weapons. Dan sighed yet again. Nothing like that seemed like it was going to happen soon. Maybe he should go for a walk around the town or something. It would keep him occupied at least.

Toh sighed, wondering if some new wepons should be ordered. But, he tired of the game, and after ordering a few of every wepon he could think of, stepped out of it, for the time being. It always gave him a headache.

Applesauce stepped out and waked aorund, trying to find new people to talk to.

Nocturn snuck around the town and pickpocketed a key from a passerby, the guards saw him and began chasing after him. he managed to lose the guards by cutting into a lot of side streets. he looked out from around a turn. he saw that the coast was clear and accidentally ran out and into Applesauce.

Nocturn stood up and held a hand out for Applesauce, "It was all my fault, i apologize. And what might be your name mademoiselle?"

Dan was about to step out when his next-in-command Cabel ran over to him. "Dan, we just got one major order. See for your self."

Dan took the list he offered and scanned it, letting out a low whistle.

"Excellent. assign these to the newbies, these to our free regulars and we can handle the rest personally. Prep the materials, i'm goig out for a bit." Dan grinned wide as he stepped out of the shop. Maybe the day wasn't as bad as he first thought.
