Milk-Chan
So that's 19 ye. This is my first real successful suggestion. If it were to be implemented, would I receive some kind of notification, or would it just happen?
Muluck
14) Do not request anything that is simply pointless. Here's a quick litmus test to find out whether your suggestion falls under this: ask yourself how your suggestion would be at all beneficial to the site. If your answer essentially boils down to "it would be pretty cool"' date=' then it is simply pointless. As an example, just about anything related to subject #3 above falls under this. Milk-Chan
It's not pointless. I just think it would be something that would benefit those who like to respond to threads they posted in, without having to search for it. Sure, it turns 3 clicks into one, but hey. Simplicity is not a bad thing, amirite?

This, was not. All this is, is to make navigation around the site somewhat faster, but remember this is coming from a lazy person who is inconvenienced by clicking a few times more than they have to.[/laziness]

Milk-Chan
Look, there's a link to pm's so why not one to new posts in recently posted-in threads, by you. It's the same deal, amirite?
Muluck
Look' date=' there's a link to pm's so why not one to new posts in recently posted-in threads, by you. It's the same deal, amirite?[/quote']Â Beause the Forum Software was built that way. What your requesting is to put a link in mass public view, that when clicked on would do a full blown search for all of your recent posts. Tha's too much for the forum, why do you think you can only do one search every 30 seconds?
Milk-Chan
But how is that any different than say, 1000 people going to their profile within a time-span of 5 minutes, and clicking that link to their recent posts?

Laziness does not make an issue substantial. Which therefore places your suggestion under the Pointless clause posted earlier.
