Cyber Ouroboros

It is nigh unplayable because it is an Optional Trigger Effect, therefor it misses the timing on almost everything. If it was mandatory, it could have been sooooo much better. It still would have been meh, but at least it would be playable.

I'm not too good with "missing the time" or "Optional Trigger Effects" so could you help me out here, guys? =/ What would make it miss the timing?

Eh, I gotta admit, this. What kinds of effects would make it miss the timing, and which effects let it go off without a hitch?

Basically anything that does anything after initially removing Cyber Ouroboros from play would make it miss its timing. Namely Overload Fusion, which, besides the (situational, in this case) Allure of Darkness, are about the only cards that you would conceivably want to remove Cyber Ouroboros from play with. So yeah, just Overload Fusion. I might have exaggerated the missing the timing thing, but when it misses the timing on something this big, it's a huge deal.

Oh, and Caius makes it miss the timing, too, due to the damage infliction.

Which side does DAD activate on? I assume the not drawing part, since it's being RFG-ed as a cost and what not...

How about Necroface? How about Gold Sarc?

I use it in my combo with Darknight Parshath to draw 2 cards instead of 1

I don't think that actually works. Did you do this in a video game or in real life? It should miss the timing because drawing a card with Parshath is the last thing that happens.

DAD: Misses the timing. Destroying a card is the last thing that happens.

Necroface: I think if you remove another Necroface with the first one, since Necroface has a Mandatory Trigger Effect, it would activate first and force Cyber Ouroboros to miss the timing.

Gold Sarc: Can't see why this wouldn't work.

So this is only good for Allure =/ Oh well' date=' still enough reason for me to run it =P

So you're running this card just to remove it with Allure? That seems like it would blow up in your face more times than it would benefit you.

There is my precious Tempest Magician OTK Deck where Allure and Gold Sarcophagus would make this look good xD

@b0b3rt: its not a -1 <_<... you are not removing it to discard something else, you remove it by other means and then use this as a +0... don't see the -1 part O_o

It's effect is a +0, but since it is being removed and then you are getting a +0, it's a -1, unless it's from the grave or deck, then it's a +0 again.
