Yugioh Ultima Academy Part 6 - Threat from the Cosmos ~Started, Not Accepting due to capacity~ [PG-13]

"Athrun Maxwell........" The figure activated a duel disk. "Duel!" the figure was wearing a suit and hat similar to the ones on the night of Joanna's awakining. Athrun didn't have time to question who he was or what he was truly after. Joanna glanced at him and nodded.

 

"Take care of this. I'll stay right here." Athrun nodded and faced his opponent, and activated his duel disk.

 

"Alright then, you want a duel? You're on!!!"

"DUEL!!!!!"

[Master Red]

He nodded, dark chris would probably be the jealous type. He had most of a humans bad qualities and they seemed to be the source of his powers as well as the reason to why chris sometimes changed into him. 'he must have misunderstood something after we teleported up to the roof, when you were dueling that nano-spacian...' he said looking thoughtful. He jumped a little when garnet suddenly appeared but relaxed as he saw that it was her. 'oh, hi garnet' he said smiling to her, getting up and brushing the sand off of his clothes. 'we were just discussing chris' he said, looking back at Luke and then back to garnet again.

 

D-Chris' eyes flashed with anger again and he teleported away, he didnt want to see any more. Looking wouldnt make things better, but revenge surely would!

 

(Ooc: be afraid, be very afraid :p)

[Negimalevolent]

"Ah" he says as he stands up to see Garnet behind him "Nice to see you again, it's been a while" he smiles "It seems to be another slow day, just a faint wind here and there is all... after effects of the nano spacien? i doubt it... it's probably just normal weather patterns again" he sighs "Me and Romeo here were just talking about why Chris seems to have vanished... any ideas?" he asks, looking at garnet with a puzzled expression

"Ah" he says as he stands up to see Garnet behind him "Nice to see you again, it's been a while" he smiles "It seems to be another slow day, just a faint wind here and there is all... after effects of the nano spacien? i doubt it... it's probably just normal weather patterns again" he sighs "Me and Romeo here were just talking about why Chris seems to have vanished... any ideas?" he asks, looking at garnet with a puzzled expression

For once, Garnet could honestly answer no. "I haven't been out and about recently, I've been in the duel arena continuously duelling." She paused, surveying the scene before her. "When was the last time either of you saw him?" As she waited for their answer, she looked around, as if expecting Chris to be merely hiding; it had been such a long time since she had been in the great outdoors, with no roof over her head, it almost alien to her.

[Naimo]

For once, Garnet could honestly answer no. "I haven't been out and about recently, I've been in the duel arena continuously duelling." She paused, surveying the scene before her. "When was the last time either of you saw him?" As she waited for their answer, she looked around, as if expecting Chris to be merely hiding; it had been such a long time since she had been in the great outdoors, with no roof over her head, it almost alien to her.

'yesterday, he.. Well ran off just after Luke had won his duel against that nano-spacian' Romeo said, thinking a little about if he might have seem chris after that, but he didnt think so. 'And, well, he wasnt chris when he ran off, he was dark chris' Romeo added, not really knowing if it really mattered. He did know something that did matter though, Lukes theories. 'Luke thinks that he is jealous or that he... Has met someone else' he didnt really want to say the other alternative, like if saying it would make it true.

 

'how could he do that to me!?' d-chris yelled, marching back and forth through his secret hide-out in the shadow realm. He felt like hitting something, someone.. Luke more precisely. He was mad at Romeo as well, but he wouldnt be able to hurt him. Luke on the other hand, sure he was chris' friend but he didnt care about that. He cared for no one but himself, and Romeo. And now Romeo didnt care for him any more, so that meant that he was alone once again. He growled a little, sending a blue sphere flying out of his palm. He looked at his hand and grinned a little. 'well, Maybe this wasnt all bad' he mused sending another sphere flying into the darkness. He had become more powerful! He sat down, floating in the darkness. 'now, how should i get my vengance?' he pondered, juggling a blue sphere in his hands.

"Hmmm." Garnet paused, considering this information. "Does Dark Chris take over Chris, or do they split into two?" She had never encountered Dark Chris before, and although she didn't talk to Chris that much anymore - or anyone for that matter, she saw more of Greg, Furnoose, Mouseball, Goldenquack and Adderskin nowadays - he was still her friend, and she was going to help. Though indirectly, of course.

[Master Red]

"Dark Chris takes over him" Romeo said, being very sure of himself. He had been close to both Chris and Dark Chris, acctually he had witnessed him turning into him so he knew for sure that they couldn't be around at the same time. "Whenever he uses his powers some of Dark Chris comes out and the 'dark emotions' are more likely to get a hold of him and thus Dark Chris will emerge completely" Romeo explained, he knew about this all too well, one of his and Chris' biggest arguments had started right after Chris had teleported them a greater distance.

[Negimalevolent]

He scratches his head "So... they're the same person... but one's darker than the other... but shouldn't dark Chris have changed back to normal Chris by now... and normal Chris should have this problem should he...?" He looks utterly... 'bamboozled' at the thought of this predicament... "Romeo... is there a reason why dark Chris wouldn't revert back to his normal self...? Anything at all" He looks at Romeo hoping for a decent answer to give him some information

[Master Red]

"Normally he would turn back quite quickly... but I think it depends on what had triggered his change" He said, realizing it would be weird if Dark Chris was still in control. yet again, if he thought that he was cheating on him he would probably be enraged.. and rage gave him power. When Luke asked that question he jerked back and looked angry. "What are you implying?" he asked, looking a bit angered. Did Luke really think that he was cheating on Chris?

[Negimalevolent]

"h-hey! I'm not implying anything" he says defensively, he didn't mean to imply anything at all, he just has a habit of saying something that leads people to think something that he wouldn't want them to think, that always happens with him, it's like a curse "What ever you're thinking, I don't mean it like you think I did ok!?" he backs off slightly Ugh... it happened again... Why am i always so unlucky...

[Naimo]

Garnet quickly stepped in. "If Chris isn't changing back, then it could be possible the change was based upon an emotion of some kind, some kind of evil emotion that Chris felt himself, and it could be possible Dark Chris took hold of it immediately and isn't letting go ..." She paused, looking at the two boys in turn. "Do you recall whenabouts he changed, or are you unclear of the situation?"

[Master Red]

Romeo calmed himself, of course Luke wouldnt imply something like that. He looked at garnet and looked a bit tired. 'well, its hard to see when he acctually turns, he looks the same as when he uses his powers, Although sometimes his hair changes color to a pitch black' he said, trying to remember if his hair color had changed when they were up on the roof, but he couldnt recall if it had. 'he would have turned sometime during the time that Luke dueled that nano-spacian' he said, trying to recall if chris had been acting strange before that. 'Although, i dont think chris would have felt a dark emotion at the time, but he had been using his powers and that makes it easier for the darkness within him to take over' he explained, chris wasnt the jealous type. If they had guessed right on the feeling that would have triggered his change that is.

[Naimo]

"Has Chris duelled a Nano Spacien yet?" Garnet had a feeling she could pinpoint it on that occassion. If that had been the time when he had changed ... "It could be possible he felt something about duelling a Nano Spacien, and that could have triggered it ..." She looked at them again, hoping she wasn't the only one thinking this. It sounded plausible, but just how valid was this whole idea?

[Master Red]

'he could have dueled the first one, but i dont know Since i had passed out that time' Romeo said, blushing and laughing a little feeling a bit enbarrassed about the fact that he had passed out. 'so if he dueled it could be the reason... But i dont know why he got all snippy with me during Lukes duel.' he didnt feel like it was the reason, but this was not the time to discard possible ideas.

 

'now, how should i get my revenge?' d-chris mumbled, still juggling a sphere in his hands. He could just duel him, but that wouldnt be enough.. Especially if he risked losing. He wished that the corrupted cards still had their power, but that had been destroyed earlier. Causing Luke pain or humiliation.. How could he humiliate him? What would humiliate Luke?

[Negimalevolent]

He thinks for a moment, comes to a conclusion and ponders i over before saying anything "Were you watching my nano spacien duel, and if so were you cheering for me, if so, were you cheering lots...?" he thinks it's possable dark Chris thinks Romeo is cheating on him with Luke, although he most certainly hopes that's not the case as it means he could be a target for something. He looks around franticly for anything or anyone that could hurt him

[Master Red]

'of course i cheered you on, youre my friend' Romeo stated and shrugged a little. 'Although, i recall that chris ever cheered for you... Not once during the whole duel. And thats weird concidering that you have known eachother longer' he said, his eyes widening a little after a while. 'does he think that... You!? Me!? That we are...' he looked at Luke and then blushed a little. 'no offence Luke, but you are not my type.. And i have a feeling im not yours either' he added the last thing shortly after, laughing a little and nudging Luke a little in his side. 'Although as much as i hate to say it, i think you might be right' he sighed and shoved his hands down his pockets. 'and that means both you and i could be in real danger... Dark chris has a sick and twisted mind, i dont even want to know what he might be planning' he mumbled and shuddered a little.

 

'no, i dont want to hurt Luke...' d-chris muttered, throwing the blue sphere away. 'i want to hurt him AND Romeo' he realized that most of his anger was with Romeo, not with Luke. Yet he was mad at Luke as well, he had stolen the one thing that meant something from him. His eyes shimmered a little as he came up with an idea on what to do. 'then i guess ill just have to torment him using something he loves' he mumbled, grinning a little making him look exactly like the evil genious he was.

[Naimo]

"If Chris had never duelled a Nano Spacien, it could be possible he wanted to, because if I remember correctly, I've duelled one, Luke's duelled three, and you've duelled one. Luke's duelled more Nano Spaciens than the rest, and it could be possible Chris was jealous of him because of how many of those monsters he's actually duelled, even if he hasn't always won," said Garnet after having kept quiet for some time. "Could it be that, do you think? His jealousy ... dark emotion, dont you think?"

[Master Red]

"I don't think Chris would be jealous of him dueling monsters to be honest" Romeo laughed, remembering thatc Chris had said he hoped that tho others had taken care of the Nano Spacians when they were gone. "And I haven't duelled a Nano Spacian.. you must think of someone else" he stated, not knowing where Garnet had gotten that information from. "Then again, since he ahd used his powers some of Dark Chris were already shining through, and Dark Chris might be jealous of such a thing" he said, knowing that Dark Chris liked power and winning against monsters would probably be something he connected to being powerful.

[~Kefka~]

"I'll go first!" said Athrun as he drew his first card. "I'll start things off by throwing a card face down. Then i'll bring forth my Rockstone Warrior! (1800) With that i'll end my turn." The mysterious figure nodded and drew his first card.

 

"I'll discard my Dark Genral Freed from my hand and use it to Special Summon my Dark Grepher. (1700) Then i'll use his effect and Discard my Necro Gardna and send Pleagespreader Zombie to the Graveyard." Athrun looked questionably at the man.

 

"He just sent 3 of his monsters to the grave on his first turn. He's gonna run himself dry out of monsters." just then a frigthening realization came over him. "Oh no......don't tell me..!!!!"

 

"With 3 dark monsters in my graveyard i can call it forth. Reveal yourself, DARK ARMED DRAGON!!!" (2800) Athrun's eyes widened as the dragon came to the field.

 

"Athrun!" yelled Joanna knowing what was coming next.

 

"Now i'll remove my Dark General and Necro Gardna from the graveyard to use my monsters effect. Now both your cards are destroyed!" DAD went to smash both cards but Athrun was ready.

 

"Now i'll reveal my Threatining Roar trap. You took out my monsters but now you can't attack." the figure nodded and continued.

 

"Then i shall place 1 card face down and end my turn." Athrun sighed in relief.

 

"Phew. That was almost really bad." he said. "Gotta watch out for that next time."
