Yugioh Ultima Academy Part 6 - Threat from the Cosmos ~Started, Not Accepting due to capacity~ [PG-13]

"Argh!" Garnet cheered as she watched the Hummingbird get beaten by his own monster. She knew Luke had it in him; she immediately joined him and watched as the Hummingbird evolved into his next form, as she predicted. The wind was roughly blowing into her hair, messing it up, but she didn't care.

[Master Red]

"he did it!" Romeo cheered, looking happy and relieved. D-Chris frowned again and gave Luke a dark look squinting a little. "why is he cheering him on!?" he thought, clenching his jaws together and looking from Romeo and up to Luke again. "is it because he saved him in Paris and not me?" he thought in a fit of jealousy.

 

(OOC: D-Chris is easily jealous.. I do not imply Romeo has a thing for Luke or vice verca.. just clearing that up xD)

The Hummingbird evolved into Typhoon Hummingbird and vanished, the winds stopped and the red dorm that just managed to survive crashed down to it's origional position, the ocean returned and trees that were flying in the winds were thrown into the retreating waters, Luke landed and pulled out a card that looked nothing like a yugioh card, jumped of his board and said "Abeat" (OOC: latin, meaning: return), in a flash, the boart turned into an orb of light and jumped into the card, which Luke then slipped into his pocket.

[Master Red]

"hey, good job Luke" Romeo cheered, running over to him and looked back at D-Chris being surprised that he didn't follow him. D-Chris squinted his eyes a little and then went over to the edge of the roof and jumped down, using his Dark Energy to float safely to the ground. Romeo gasped as his boyfriend suddenly jumped from the edge of the roof, and ran over to it and looked down. He let out a sigh of relief as he saw that he had floated safely to the ground, but then looked confused about why he had left so suddenly. "Where are you going?" He yelled after him, wanting an answer to this strange behaviour. "I need to be alone!" He just yelled back, teleporting away as he landed, not wanting Romeo to be able to follow him. Romeo blinked in surprise and walked back to Luke, looking puzzled. "I wonder what got to him..." He mumbled, looking thoughtful.

"Nice try. My Face-down was Magic Jammer! Mystical Space Typhoon does nothing. Now, Magic Jammer is in the graveyard. Also, since it is your turn, I have to discard a card. Now, I simply discard Kuriboh; a handy little card, non?

 

My life points are not altered. Nice try."

 

TURN:

"Now, I discard 1 more card from my hand. Oh, no! I only have 2 cards! Now I special summon Aeros - Serpent of the Storm from my deck!"

 

Now, my Worm is also returned to my field. Good job! Now, Aeros, attack Enigma - Frostbound!"

"Awful attempt. I think this will be quick enough. Striker's effect has now activated since it has been two turns, I summon Enigma - Endmaster." A creature came out of the sky it was wearing torn robes and it had broken chains on it's hands and feet. "It destroys all cards you control. Since it wasn't destroyed by battle it's effect won't activate." A gust of black light blasted around, and swept everything up. "I can now summon my Enigma - Nightmare as a normal summon." A black cloud appeared. "I can remove from play 1 card in my deck every turn." A card then disappeared. Then Endmaster started to shine light, the removed monster returned. "Now I tune my returned monster and Nightmare, to summon Enigma - Earthbound. I attack with both." Dennis smiled. "I end this turn with a face-down."

Lore: This monster cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This monster can only be Special Summoned by the effect of an "Enigma" monster. When this monster is Special Summoned destroy all other cards on the field. If an "Enigma" monster is removed from play you can Special Summon that monster face-up on your side of the field. If this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard you can tribute a face-up "Enigma" monster to Special Summon this card face-up.

Thanks to me removing from play 5 cards, I am left with exactly THREE monsters in my Graveyard. Now to let out one of my most powerful beasts... RISE! Set - Ruler of the Dead!

Lore: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by paying 1000 Life Points and having exactly 3 DARK monsters in your Graveyard. When this card is Summoned, remove from play all DARK monsters in your Graveyard. The Summoning of this card cannot be negated. As long as this card remains Face-up on the field, your opponent cannot select any monster you control as the target of an attack (excluding this card). "Look at it this way, you lost." Dennis showed his face down card. When Set attacked a Cylinder appeared and Set's own blast pierced itself and hit Aeos. "My face-down card was Advanced Magic Cylinder." Dennis said with a smile he had just beaten Aeos with a single card. "I hope you're proud of yourself for bringing yourself to your own end." Dennis laughed at how Aeos had been blind about his face down card.

Aeos fell to the ground.

"Damn. I should have--used--Anubis."

 

He lost consciousness, convulsing on the ground.

His cards fell, scattering across the ground and being blown away by the wind.

He was so close, yet he left himself vulnerable.

He didn't know why but he felt something was about to happen. AJ didn't know what was giving him this feeling but from what he sensed it wasn't good. "Why do i keep having this weird feeling that something is about to go down?" he told himself. With that he walked out of his office. "I have to see if Nightshroud feels this as well."

 

Meanwhile Athrun and Joanna were at the lighthouse. Relaxing as they usually did. "Other then that humming bird i haven't seen any of the Nano Spacians around." the slifer said. "Either everyone else has been making quick work of them, or i've been unobservant." Joanna laughed.

 

"Well with how busy we've both been it's been rare since we've seen any action." Just then a thought hit Athrun.

 

"Wait...what exactly have we been busy doing?" just then a voice spoke to them.

 

"Whatever i feel like having you do." Athrun and Joanna both looked up but saw nothing. "Did you hear that?" he asked. Joanna nodded but said nothing.

Luke was at the beach again as usual, the tide was coming in and the wind was gently blowing, creating little ripples on the water as the waves swooshed back and forth over and other, if you were someone other than Luke, just staring at the sea as if he was in a daze, you'd probably have been sound asleep as the sounds mesmorise you into a deep slumber, but luke was different, he's always laid back, and dosn't like action too much.

Once he located him AJ informed Nightshroud on this weird feeling he was having. "So you have felt it to huh?" Nightshroud nodded as him and AJ both looked out towards the setting sun.

 

"Yeah. I have a feeling this may be the last day of peace we'll have for a bit."

 

"I hope you're wrong, but it seems inevitable that that may be true." he turned to his former partner and spoke. "I want you to take care of Athrun. He'll need you now more then ever." Nightshroud smirked.

 

"I haven't forgotten the promise i made you. Dead or not i said i'd watch over him and i'll stand by that. But i also have a son too ya know. It's gonna be tough doing both." AJ nodded.

 

"I know. But if we don't prepare for what's coming, things are going to get alot tougher, for everyone on this island."

[Master Red]

"I thought I might find you here" Romeo said as he sat down beside Luke and looked out over the ocean. He sat in silence for a while just looking out over the ocean before he finally spoke again. "You haven't seen Chris have you?" He asked, turning to Luke,"I haven't seen him at all since he jumped off the roof yesterday" he mumbled, looking up at the sky. "I mean.. It's not like he has to be by my side all the time, but he was acting so weird yesterday so I'm starting to suspect that something's wrong" he said laughing a little, realizing that he and Chris might have spent a little too much time together anyways.

"You haven't seen Chris have you?" He asked, turning to Luke,"I haven't seen him at all since he jumped off the roof yesterday" he mumbled, looking up at the sky. "I mean.. It's not like he has to be by my side all the time, but he was acting so weird yesterday so I'm starting to suspect that something's wrong" he said laughing a little, realizing that he and Chris might have spent a little too much time together anyways.

He settles down in a flash and gently pats Romeo's back "It's ok, I'm sure he didn't mean to be rude, he probably just had a lot on his mind, mybe you should just give him some space for a bit... it shouldn't make you worry too much" He smiles reasuringly in the hope of liftng Romeo's spirits the only way he knew how [or would be willing to do at least], with words of reasurance. he continued to look out on the ocean as it spoke Guess it doesn't calm him as much as it does me....

D-Chris had been watching Romeo from the distance. 'of course he went to see Luke, he just likes him sooo much' he muttered. He was annoyed that he couldnt hear what they were talking about, surely Romeo was talking crap about him or telling Luke how much he likde him or... His thoughts came to a halt as he saw Luke patting Romeos back and his eyes flashed with anger. 'that.. That...' he couldnt even get out the words, being so angered at what he was seeing.

 

 

'i dont think so...' Romeo said looking down at the sand, frowning a little. 'i mean, i know d-chris is mean and stuff.. But he has never been mean or rude to me before, that was the part that chocked me' he said, smiling up at Luke half heartedly. 'i just hope hes all right, i mean it doesnt seem to be unusual that people disappear around here' he said and laughed a little. He knew about disappearing all too well.

He looks out at the ocean for a while, thinking "... ok... I can onlky think of 3 reasons why he would be like that" he holds up his index finger "One, he's found someone else" he holds up another finger "Two, he misunderstanding something big" he holds up a third thinger "Or... three, he think's you'e found someone else...." he looks at the sand "Those are the most likely options right now..." he pauses "Does that help at all?"

[Master Red]

He looked a bit sad when he heard the options. 'all of those are really bad alternatives, especially the first one' he mumbled looking down at the sand poking around a little in it. 'but why would he think ive found someone new?' he then said, crinkeling his nose a little before looking up at Luke. 'i mean.. I havent been flirting with anyone.. And the only people i really know are you guys. I havent been flirting with any of you right?' he said it all really fast while looking really confused the whole time.

He looks at Romeo "no... i don't think you have, which is why i hink the most likely option is number 2... he's got the wrong idea about something, certainly watchong something from afar could have that effect on someone like him, he seems to be a jealous type...." he pauses and sighs "Perhaps he's watching us right now...?" he looks around but can't see Chris anywhere "Maybe... maybe not...." he continues to look out on the ocean, thinking of more options, but to no prevail

Meanwhile, Garnet was busy duelling. It had been so long since she last had a duel, she just had to do it. She drew and, looking down at her hand, laughed. "This is game over! I discard two James May, Captain Slow, and one Chibi to Special Summon Dark James May! Since Hammerhead and Test Track are on the field, I'll bring my other three monsters out, and I'll add 2 counters onto Dark James, and inflict 700 direct damage to you." She watched her opponent, an Obelisk boy, flinch. "Now I'll use Dark James' effect and destroy all monsters and counters, which means it's game!"

Garnet left the duel arena, her mood lifted. She decided to go and look for Luke; she hadn't seen him in days. As she teleported to him, she saw him talking to Romeo, and approached them. "Fancy seeing you here," she said when she saw their faces. "What's going on?"
