Yugioh Ultima Academy Part 6 - Threat from the Cosmos ~Started, Not Accepting due to capacity~ [PG-13]

Luke finaly left Ms. Fontaine's lesson and sat at his usual spot on the beach, looking over some notes "Okay... so to carefuly remove a foreign object from inside of someone, steadily pull it out in the direction it entered.... and then place on a sterile tray... then suture or use anti-biotic gell on the wound, depending on the size.... well... this is simple..."

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

"So....who you gonna ask?" Hikari asked Ryu, he looked up like he was gonna strangle her."you know I don't have anyone......in fact because of all this studying, my flirting quota went down by 80%" she laughed."well, you better get looking, personally, I'm waiting." Ryu laughs."yeah, I know you are...now get your happy self away, your depressing me....." he fell asleep again, on the desk."Poor Ryu..."

Raiden was waiting outisde sapphires door looking through his cards. "Hmm Maybe she's still asleep hmm maybe i should go in and check on her." He then thought over what might happen (Raiden's Fantasy Theater) Sapphire:RAIDENSIES CAN YOU PLEASE WAITSIES TILL IM DRESSED?!?! GET OUTSIES!!!(End Theater) "Erm okay Summon:Winged Kuriboh" Raiden sent Winged Kuriboh into her window and it flew to her side and began nudging her.

Saphire was lying on her bed, clutching her stomach "Owsies.... it hurtsies...." She looked in deep pain and was quite oblivious to everything around her, not noticing Raiden or The kuriboh at all. luke on the other hand was fiddling about with his new 'tools' and was making sure to keep tem all clean, so he only used ones like the laser which would only touch his hand

Kuriboh came back to Raiden and told him what he saw. Raiden then came in through the window suddenly and went to sapphire. "Saph..saph what's wrong?" He asked very concerned he put his hand over hers. "Kuriboh get someone!!" Kuriboh flew to Ms.Fontaine's office and luke was the 1st person it saw with medical tools so it grabbed luke and began trying to pull him to Obelisk Dorm squeaking frantically.

Luke was just putting his tools away when the kuriboh appeared and started pulling him "Hey little guy, are you lost... wait... aren't you Raiden's kuriboh!?" He hopped up in a flash and followed the kuriboh as fast as he could, wondering why the hell he was getting roped into something else, the day was humid and a warm wind was blowing, but that was perfectly natural

[~Kefka~]

"The ball will be in 2 days." AJ told the catering crew for the affair. "We need all the essentials brought to the school and prepared within said time." The crew nodded. "All the money needed for the event will be taken from the schools funds. Bring whatever you see nessesary. I want this to be an even to remember." Just then Damion clapped his hands.

 

"You heard my brother people! Let's get a move on! We have a lot to do and very little time to do it in! Let's go!!!" the crew nodded and raced out of the room to prepare for the ball. AJ sat down in his chair.

 

"Didn't know organizing this even would be such a handful." he said to his brother who laughed.

 

"Now you know that running a school isn't just all perks." AJ smiled. "Need anything else while i'm here." AJ shook his head.

 

"That's about it Damion thanks. I actually need to do something." Damion cocked his head to one side.

 

"And that would be?" AJ looked back and smiled.

 

"I need to find a date."

Eventualy luke showed up at the location where raiden was standing, he rushed up and seemed like he was in a panic, since the kuriboh had tugged at his shirt so much it must have been urgent "What happened!? is something wrong!?" he says to raiden quickly

Raiden unlocked Sapphire's door quickly and opened (since he was in her room.) "come quickly somethings wrong with Sapphire!" Raiden ran back to Saphhire with luke and Kuriboh. "Return to your card you did a good job Winged Kuriboh!!" He then turned to luke and asked quickly. "Do you have any idea whats wrong with her?"

"Hmm...." he looks at saphire, observing for a problem "there are no external wounds.... and it seems like she's in too much pain for it to be something normal...." he goes to a sink "Raiden... i think I'll have to perform a labochamy... and if you don't know what that is, i mean, i'll have to cut her open..." he gulps "And i may need your help Raiden..."

[The D.M.]

Raiden went pale for a moment. "Luke...if you're sure of yourself...then please do this...and ill help if i can." Raiden snapped his figers twice. "Injection Fairy Lily, The Calculator." The two monsters appeared. "Calculator can you turn into a computer to keep an eye on her vitals? Yessir!!" Raiden had some idea of what was going on his father used to work in a lab with animals...well Duel Monsters but they counted as animals. "Lily the novocain NOW!!" Lily filled her magic syringe. "Okay Luke its all you if you need anything tell me." Raiden said his voice almost choked with fear

"ok" he smiles "i've already administered some anesthesia so she's sound asleep right now, anyway, here goes" he pulls saphire's shirt up slightly so he can see the problem area "Ok, first, disinfect the area with anti-biotic gel, and then use the scalpel to open her up" he makes an insision "hm... oh yeah! Quick raiden fetch me a towel!"

[The D.M.]

Raiden dashed into the bathroom grabbed a white towel and handed it to Luke as fast as he could. He sat down and waited for anything. The Calculator beeped steadily and uniformly. Raiden prayed that Luke's hand would be steady. (Cmon saph...you can pull through this...no one else saw it...but i saw something inside you..you're a strong person.) "Anything yet luke?" Raiden asked quietly.

He takes the towel and places it under saphire "That'll keep the blood from soaking into the bed, now then" he looks back into the opening he made "Wh-What are these things!?" he steps back, the image of what he saw firmly imprinted in his mind

"This... this isn't normal...."

[The D.M.]

Raiden went pale again. "What is it luke...is it serious?!?!" Raiden jumped out of his chair. "What's wrong??" Raidens hands moved one twitching twords his magic deck and the other out to sapphire. the movement was subtle but Raiden was preparing for whatever was needed

"these things, it's like their swiming on her stomach's tissue... and fighting.... creating tumors..." he takes out the laser and incinerates them "...i wonder...." He takes the drain out and drains the pathogen's tisslue while their combined "it's working!" he says cheerfully

Raiden's focus never left luke and sapphire. But a glimmer of hope shined in his eyes. (Cmon saph...cmon pull through this.) Raiden's whole body was rigid with anxiety. Raiden was then focused on luke following his movements with careful calculation and seeing every subtle motion of his hand.

~Several minuites later~

"Ah, there we go, those things have been drained from Saphire's stomach... I'm.... I'm going to look into this.... wh-whoa!" Without warning, the drain luke was holding let all the substance out, and the mess that was now on the towel congeled, into a card: luke looked gobsmacked "That... that's wayyyyyyy too powerful!"

[The D.M.]

(A Duel Monster induced disiese?) "Luke...how do you think this happend?" Raiden looked at the card again still dumbfounded. "In all my days i have never seen such a card." The Calculator said examining the card luke held. "I firmly belive this is what caused the disiese."

Athrun woke up in his dorm room to find a present from his father at the end of his bed. He smiled as he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. "It's christmas." he said to himself with a small smile. He remembered back to when he was younger. He remembered him and his sister jumping on their parents bed to wake them up that morning so they could open gifts.

 

But that was 15 years ago. A now 17 year old duelist sat in his bed at a world renouned academy that his father was now chancellor of. "Crazy how the years fly by." he said as he reached for his gift from his father.

Garnet stretched as the new day hit her. It was Christmas, how could she forget? She saw Richard, Jeremy and James exchanging gifts, and a smile crossed her face as she saw not a pile of gifts, but five red envelopes, and a present from mum and dad. She reached for the red envelopes and opened them gingerly. She grinned as £50 tipped out of each one (except for Greg's, where he had enclosed £100); those boys really knew how to make her smile. Now an extra £300 in pocket, she was about to turn to the gift from mum and dad, when she heard a cry from Jeremy. She looked over her shoulder, and burst out laughing.

 

"Don't laugh!" cried Jeremy, looking down at the hideous Mercedes shirt he was wearing. "It's not funny!" Aside from the bad shirt, he also had a pair of windscreen wiper gloves on his hands; James was now in a new stripey jumper (as well as holding a fork with a spanner ring on the end), and Richard merely had a big "40" badge pinned onto his jacket, as well as clutching an Unofficial Richard Hammond calender in his hand, looking disgusted at it.

 

"Good look guys," grinned Garnet.

AJ smiled as he looked out the window on Christmas day. Ruby was sleeping in his chair but he didn't mind. His duel spirit looked peaceful there so he didn't disturb her. "Never thought i'd be spending Christmas like this. Crystal back at home, my 2 kids in seperate places, and me in the chancellor's office." he sighed. "What i wouldn't give to go back to the past for a day." he threw on his coat and walked out of his office. Ruby awoke as he was exitting.

 

"Huh? Where you goin?" she asked yawning. AJ looked back and smiled.

 

"Hold down the fort Ruby. There is someone i have to go wish Happy Christmas." he said as he made a dark portal and headed for his home.

[Naimo]

Crystal raised her eyebrows as she sensed someone entering the home by magic. Having just finished talking to her agent, she curiously walked downstairs, and saw her husband standing in the living room. Looking surprised and pleased, she dashed over and hugged him. "Hello darling. But what are you doing here? Don't you have the Academy to look after?"

Raiden sat outside sapphires room waiting for her to wake up. Waiting for Luke to give word on the diseise. Waiting for something. "The guys have done alot for me...and i havent done anything for them...maybe...maybe just once i could use my powers for someone BESIDES myself." Raiden twirled his hand in the air wondering which card would do the trick. "Ahh i can't think of anything...i mean athruns got the crystal beasts already...*sigh* what a fine way to spend christmas" He said sarcastically.

--so Raiden controls CB's as well? cause AJ's been usin' em since part 1, and when have we seen Raiden use them until now?

 

AJ smiled as he looked at his wife. "The kids aren't the only ones who need to get away from school every now and again." he kissed her lightly. "So this is why i'm taking the day off. As of right now, this is OUR christmas my dear." he said smiling.
