AJ was in his office when an idea hit him. It was closing in on the holiday season, and Christmas and the other holidays where upon them. "Maybe i could." said AJ aloud. Ruby looked over towards him.

 

"You could what?" asked Ruby curiously.

 

"Well the kids are always off fighting evil forces and trying to save the planet, just like me and the gang did when we where younger. And if you remember back then Ruby we never had a break."

 

"Tell me about it." said Ruby jokingly.

 

"Well, since we are in the holiday season, how about we do something special for the kids?" Ruby looked at her master.

 

"What did you have in mind?"

The scarab snears "Did you forget about my traps.... wait... NO! My royal Decree! I can't use any traps!? AAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH" Luke smiles "He did it!" The scarab is engulfed in a flash of light and a much bigger scarab appers out of it, on fire "This isn't over!" it vanishes in a flash of light, Luke stands up "great job Raiden, lets go back" he grabs Raiden's wrist and teleports away

Raiden barley noticed his victory as his vision went blurry. "D-dad...i did it...i used you card...Nggh." Raiden's muscles spasmed. "GHAACK!!" Raiden collapsed to his knees. "Luke...ghaa...Luke get...get a..call ambulance...ghkkk." Raiden fainted an immense strain on his heart induced from using the Bloody Deathsaura. Not even Tornix could use the card without putting strain on his body. On someone as young as Raiden the card holds a 80% chance of killing him.

Luke kneels by Raiden's side "that card realy put a strain on your muscels didn't it, don't worry, you can relly on me to help you whenefver you need" he smiles and takes Raiden to the infirmary with teleportation, when they arrive, Luke sets Raiden down gently on a bed and goes off to talk to Ms. Fontaine for some unknow reason, all Raiden needed was rest, but Luke had to speak to Ms. Fontaine anyway.

[~Kefka~]

"Attention students." said a voice from over the PA system. "Since the holiday season is upon us, and i understand some of you will be staying at the school over the holidays, i decided to do something a little different. On the 24th of Decemeber i decided to put together a Christmas Ball for all those staying over the holiday break. More will be announced later on." Upon hearing the news Athrun almost fell back in his chair.

 

"A dance? I didn't even know his academy had dances." he sighed. "I guess this must be dad's way of assureing him and mom grandkids." he laughed to himself.

[Naimo]

"A dance?" Garnet asked out aloud. She was inside the school, trying to find Goldenquack, when she heard the message. "Well, at least I won't have any problems with finding a partner ... I wonder if Greg knows? Ha! Goldenquack's going to have a problem, his nose isn't dead on center..."

 

"I heard that Gemheart," came the very voice she was talking about. Garnet turned around and saw Goldenquack approaching, the teleportation device strapped to his arm. "Well, you may be wrong on that account - I happen to know a certain Louise Gidgetrem has been after me for the past two weeks."

 

"Yeah, yeah, we don't need to hear your story again."

 

"Anyway, what did you want to find me for?"

[The D.M.]

Raiden woke up and to his suprise he could move again. "Ahnn MAN i didn't think using Bloody Deathsaura would have that much of a toll on me." Raiden got up and on Ms. Fontaine's desk he found a copy of the Dance announcement and his eyes lit up. "I've GOTTA go tell Saph." he said eagerly running out of the infirmary. When he got to obelisk dorm he knocked on Sapphire's door and called "Hello? Hey Saph are you home?"

[~Kefka~]

Joanna was eating lunch when one of her friends told her about the dance announcement that AJ had made earlier. "A dance? Here?" she smiled as her friend confirmed it. "I have to go and find Athrun. I'll see you later!" she ran off to find her boyfriend.

"Ahh she must not be home." Raiden walked off and wandered about campus and then he saw Garnet and Goldenquack "Hey garnet did you hear about the dance?" Raiden then turned his attention to Goldenquack "Who's your friend garnet." and then finally he remembered what he wanted "OH uhm garnet i wanted to ask you. Its been FOREVER since we last duelled and i've gotten stronger" Raiden smirked "I think i can beat you now"

(OOC: can we do this tomorrow? I need to go in about 5 minutes)

 

"I'll see you later," said Goldenquack quickly before he disappeared. Garnet was about to answer when a girl she only knew too well from all the pictures came over. "Ooo Garnet! You haven't seen Dave anywhere have you?" she asked.

 

"He went over there," answered Garnet, pointing at the direction where Goldenquack had gone. The girl immediately chased after him. "Sorry Raiden, that's Goldenquack's admirer. And yes, I would like to duel you." She loaded her deck. "And I'll let you go first."

Luke was in Ms. Fontaine's office, having a lesson on the powell procedure when the message blared out "A dance.. oh man, I suck at dancing...." he sighs, Ms Fontaine smiles "Oh come on, this is the perfect time to tell the one you love how you feel" Luke steps away "What are you, some sort of psychiatrist as well!?" Ms. Fontaine laughs "Actualy, yes I am"

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

Ryu was actually in class, actually studying. "Man....this is boring...how do people do this?" he stood up and moved to another table.."Maybe I'll concentrate better over here." he wonders, Hikari was helping him study, but lately she's been overworking herself with training, so she's sound asleep upstairs in the upper levels of the class.

Luke had an excuseal note from class today to study with Ms. Fontaine, she was teaching him how to properly revove foreign objects frm inside someone, he learns pretty well, and when class time ends, he leaves to go and sit on a bench, now carrying a small box in his bag

"Okay thanks for the 1st turn Garnet" Raiden said drawing his card "Okay i summon my Mechanichalchaser in attack mode set 2 cards and end" Raiden said smiling

Garnet drew and glanced down at her hand. "Let's see ... I start with Top Gear Test Track, then I set a monster. Next I set three and I finish." She watched as the ground beneath them changed into a scaled down version of the test track - as Garnet looked down, she still couldn't get over that funny sensation of standing between the Second to Last corner and Gambon.

"Whoah i didnt realise Duel monsters had a NASCAR archetype" raiden couldnt resist cracking that joke ever since he saw that card played. "Okay then i draw, summon my Morphtronic Videon 1000ATK and now Videon attacks your facedown and Mechanichalchaser goes for a direct hit!!"

[Naimo]

"Hold your horses! I activate Hammerhead, and that face down was Chibi Richard Hammond, which means not only do you loose 500 Life Points, I can summon a Richard Hammond from my deck. And since Hammerhead and the Test Track are on the field, it means I can return my Chibi to the field!"

"ohboy...this is'nt good" Raiden drew "i sacrifice my Videon for my Cyber Dragon i attack your Richard Hammond and then on Main Phase 2 i activate my facedown DNA Surgery changing all face up monsters into Machines. End Turn"

Garnet drew and glanced down at her hand. "I activate Remove Trap, and I'll remove your DNA Surgery. Next I tribute my Chibi for Richard Hammond, Hamster Warrior, and Chibi's effect kicks in again." Another Richard Hammond appeared on the field alongside Chibi, as a newer monster appeared. "And next I tune both Hamster Warrior and my Richard Hammond for Richard Hammond, Guardian of the Hamsters!"

 

 

 

"And I'll return both monsters to the field ... fitting to see all four stages, no? Now, I reveal another of my face down, Morris Marina, which means it's goodbye Cyber Dragon. That leaves me free to make my Hamster Warrior attack your Mechanilizer, whatever it's called, and then Richard Hammond, and my Guardian will directly attack you, which I believe means game!"

Joanna was looking for Athrun when she suddenly stubled across a duel. "Hm?" she looked over and noticed Raiden and Garnet dueling each other. She smiled. "I guess looking for Athrun can wait a bit." she said as she sat down to observe the duel.

[The D.M.]

"Hahahah *phew* note to self NEVER EVER make fun of Garnet's sometimes ridiculous sounding card names...theylll kick the crap out of you" He said smiling "Man and i thought ID gotten though when i beat that Nano Spacian." Raiden shook hands with Garnet. "Good game anyway and also are you taking your guyfriend over there to the dance?" He asked "What was his name? Goldensomething?"

[Naimo]

Garnet smiled. "Hey, I beat a Nano Spacien too. Looks like we're equal." She laughed at Raiden's last sentence. "We call him Goldenquack, but it seems he's really called Dave. Nah, I've already got a date - my boyfriend Greg." She paused. "What about you? Have you got a date yet?" As she said this, her Guardian of the Hamsters appeared over her shoulder.

Luke was sitting on a chair in anotherof MS. Fontaine's lessons when it started raining outside, he was being taught how to use a defibrilator when someone undergoes cardiac arrest, and had been given a portable one to practice with, he wasn't sure if he'd ever need to use what he was learning here at the academy, but one thing was for sure, you never can be too prepared

"Actually im gonna take Sapphire." He said smiling "I was actually gonna go ask her before i ran into you and then i thought Hey its been awile since i duelled and then you beat my butt." Raiden started to walk back to Obelisk dorm. "I gotta go see ya later Garnet." Raiden was almost at sapphires door when he started thinking. (Why is it that the majority of girls in this school are named after precious gemstones) He knocked on sapphires door. (Eh probably coincidence)

"Stupid.....remake tests...." he said as he finally finished his last test, he was exhausted, and his brain was dead. "Okay, now then...what's next on my list Kari?" he asked as Hikari brings out a file."uhm, it seems that was your last test, next thing on the list is to find a date to the dance..." he wasn't amused."you're kidding right?........crap!" he dropped his head on the table hard, knocking him out
