Romeo who did not know about Garnet, Luke.. or just anyone being able to teleport jumped behind Chris and looked terrified. "I'll explain later" Chris mumbled looking at Romeo, his eyes telling him that there was nothing to be worried about. "Hey Garnet" he said and smiled, "well i don't know.. I'm kinda not up to using my deck after.. you know" he said, not wanting Romeo to know about the whole Dark Chris thing right now, he'd tell him later. "Maybe you want to duel Romeo? Could be a nice way to get to know Garnet.." he said shrugging. Romeo looked at Garnet again and then at Chris with questioning eyes. "I'll explain later, she's not dangerous though" Chris mumbled, smiling encouraging. "Well.. If she's up to it I guess.." Romeo said and looked at Garnet.

Athrun shrugged it off and roles his eyes at Luke. "Funny....." he said sarcasticly. "Well i'm gonna watch sis duel. She was rooting me on against Dark Chris so i figured i'd support her as well." he said leaning against a tree. "You gonna watch too?" he asked the boy.

OOC: Garnet should recognize his last name, his family is well known for creating a small piece of mechanic used in all D-Wheels

 

Romeo nodded and drew a card from his deck "let's see how well you do against the de la Snow prodigy" he said grinning a little.

"I'll start out with Foolish Burial, sending my Nurse - Lin from my Deck to the Graveyard" he said, then looking at his hand. "Then I'll send my Nurse - Lin from my hand to the Graveyard in order to Special Summon Nurse - Gia from my Deck" he said as a young Nurse appeared on the field. " I'll Normal Summon another Nurse - Gia and finish off by setting one card" he said smiling. "Let's see what you can do" he said and smiled towards Garnet.

Lin (Light, lvl 1, warrior) 2 in gy

You can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard in order to Special Summon 1 "Nurse" monster from your Deck, that card cannot declare an attack this turn. When this card is removed from play by the effect of a "Nurse" monster, increase your Life Points by 500.

ATK/ 200 DEF/100

 

Gia (Light, lvl 4, Warrior) 2 on field

While this card remains face-up on the field, your opponent cannot select another "Nurse" monster you control as an attack target. Whenever your Life Points are increased by the effect of a "Nurse" monster, you can pay 1000 Life Points in order to Special Summon 1 "Nurse" monster from your hand.

ATK/900 DEF/600

OOC: I'm not familiar with 5Ds (I havent even seen an episode)

 

Garnet drew. "Clever tactic ... much like the lockdown with two Marauding Captains or ... yes, anyway ... I start with Book of Moon and I'll flip one of your Gias face down. Any objects, Romeo?"

Chris went over to sit with Luke and Athrun, since they were his friends and since there was a bit of shade there. "I've never even heard of the cards Romeo uses" he said, looking with amazement at the cards he used. "Well.. except for Foolish Burial of course" he added quickly.

 

"Not so fast!" Romeo exclaimed. "Reveal face-down! Book of Moon!" he said, grinning. "You're not the only one playing that card" he added smiling.

Romeo drew a card and smiled, looking pleased.

 

"well he sure doesn't have that much of a poker face" Chris mumbled from under the tree.

 

"I play Heavy Storm and destroy your pesky little face-downs" Romeo said revealing his card looking quite triumphant.

 

OOC. I'll continue when I know if it succeeds or not ;)

Romeo shrugged, "Sure.. whatever rocks your boat I guess" he said and smiled. "Now let's see here.." he mumbled looking through his hand. "i start by flipping Gia face-up again" the face-down turned into the beautiful Nurse again, "and while I'm at it I'll switch my other Gia to defense mode" he said and the other nurse kneeled down hands covering her chest (okay that sounds wrong xD). "I'll summon my Nurse - Kia to the field and activate her effect" he said, another nurse appeared on the field holding four injections in her hands. "As she was Normal Summoned to the field, she gains 4 Injection Counters and I remove 2 of them to increase my Life Points by 800" he said smiling as his Life Points did a happy little tune when going up. "And since my Life Points were increased by the effect of a Nurse monster I can pay 1000 Life Points in order to Special Summon a Nurse from my hand" he stated and his life points got lower again. "I choose my Nurse - Mia!" he said as a fourth nurse appeared on the field. "I'll activate her effect to gain 300 Life Points for each Nurse on the field, I count 4 so I gain 1200 points!" he said and smiled as his life points increased again. "hmm.. now I'll better get rid of that Breaker of yours" he said and looked at his small army of Nurses. "I'll let my Nurse Kia use her other effect, by removing the last 2 counters from her I'll destroy your breaker!" he said as Kia threw her last two Injections at the face-down, causing it to explode. "Although, since I used all her counters in one turn she is now destroyed" The nurse covered her heart looking tormented, to then explode. The other nurses looked at eachother looking a bit worried. "I'll finish off by setting 1 card."

 

Romeo: 5000 (think I got that right)

Garnet: 4000

Garnet drew. "I play Magical Citadel of Endymion, and next I'll play Pot of Greed, which means my Citadel gains one Spell Counter." She drew twice and bizzarely laughed. "Now I set two, and I'll set a monster. I play Field Barrier, and end it there." Another counter landed on the Citadel.

Jade was standing by the lighthouse over looking the ocean. She had a small smile on her face with wasn't really normal for her, but she found the scene quite relaxing. "It's beautiful out here isn't it?" she said. A voice came from behind her.

 

"I guess if you look at it a certain way." said Nightshroud as he walked from behind her and swung his arms around her from the back.

 

"I wasn't talking to you." she laughed lightly. Nightshroud smirked.

 

"So you two are having quality time?" he asked as Jade lightly kissed his cheek.

 

"He'll have to learn about these things one day won't he? May as well get a head start on them." she said with a smile.

OOC: forgot to post effects and stuff DX

 

Kia:

When this card is Normal Summoned to the field, place 4 Injection Counters on this card (max 4). By removing 2 Injection Counters from this card, select and activate one of the following effects:

* Increase your Life Points by 800.

* Destroy one monster on the field.

If all Injection Counters were removed from this card during the same turn, destroy this card and remove it from play.

Rome drew a card and looked at it, not showing any kind of emotion. "I activate Giant Trunade, thus sending your Spells and Traps back to your hand" he said and picked up his own face-down. "Now I'll summon my White Nurse - Rua" he said, a new Nurse, clad in white appearing to the field. "And I'll switch my other Gia to defense position" the other Gia kneeled down, covering her chest (xD). "I use Mias effect, increasing my Life Points by 1200 and then I activate White Nurse's effect, sending my Black Nurse - Wei from my Deck to the Graveyard in order to gain another 500 Life Points" he said as his Life Points increased further. "Now, White Nurse, attack her face-down!" The nurse ran at the card with her injection as a weapon.

This card can be Special Summoned from your hand during the End Phase of the turn that a "Nurse" monster you control was destroyed by battle. Once per turn, select and activate one of the following effects:

* Send 1 monster from your hand to the Graveyard, Special Summon 1 "Nurse" monster from your Graveyard

"Ha! Not this time! Activate Pitch Black Power Stone, to which I'll chain to my Emergency Provisions, and I'll send my Stone to the Graveyard to gain 1000 Life Points! Now that it's destroyed, my Citadel gains an extra 3 counters, bringing it up to a total of six! And my face down happened to be Old Vindictive Magician!"
