Appearance (may be pic or description): She's 4'10", so shorter than Crystal, so she always wear a pair of very high platforms to boost her height. She has elbow-length black hair, pierced ears, and brown eyes. Whenever she's about to use her Princess Power deck she ties her hair into two ponytails. When she's about to use her Maidens of Macabre deck she puts into her ears two peacock feather earrings.

Bio: Daughter of Crystal and AJ, Garnet has always had an obsession to make as much money as possible. She has inherited some of Crystal's powers, which means she's been able to form fake objects and sell them, giving her the nickname "Rogue Merchant". She carries a shoulder bag that contains most of her non-magical dirty tricks she sometimes uses to get out of tight situations.

Personality: Only one word exists in Garnet's vocabulary and that's money. She loves money so much she takes every opportunity to rip people off, and even if she has to part with 1p she will be furiously cursing in her mind despite the lovely smile on her face. She's slippery and very careful with wording. Although she doesn't seem to care for anyone, deep down she does care for people she like and tries to help them in a very indirect way so they don't expose her good side.

Bio: He is the twin to Tao, Wayne was born first, and are identical, even though their personalities are much different. He would always wake up extra early, unlike his brother. He has never stopped looking at the sky, always wondering if the sun was out or the moon was out.

In the past Ingo hasn't gotten much friends and sometimes he is very lonely. Now he passed his entry test to Duel Academy and he hopes to have a good time in there.

Personality: He is very lonely sometimes because his lack of friends. But when he isn't he likes to smile a lot and he is a nice person. He doesn't like to fight or anything like that but he is quite strong. He sometimes is lazy but that is not so often.

Appearance (may be pic or description): About 5'8 with messy black hair. He has a bit of chin stubble, with lazy dark green eyes. He's lightly tanned, and is well-built. He doesn't possess any other significant traits.

Bio: Dom's the son of a lawyer and author, so naturally, drama is his thing. At a young age he mastered puzzles and contraptions. He was able to make a bear trap from a pile of scrap metal with ease. Eventually, he was sent to the Academy due to him nearly being arrested. His case is unknown, but rumors spread that he was a trap-based serial killer.

Personality: Dom is sarcastic, witty and headstrong. If someone gets on his nerves, he will insult and reply wittingly. He has a deep hate for idiots, and they annoy him to no end.

Appearance: Tall, blonde and a good, confident fashion sense, he'll wear whatever he thinks looks good. Normally a checked plaid shirt with the top two buttons undone with black jeans and high-top shoes. Often wearing one of a large selection of different hats.

 

Bio: Darren is a confident young boy, sometimes too confident. His parents were an average middle-class couple, they wanted Darren to do well in the academic subjects at school, mainly science, then graduate medical school and eventually become a doctor, much to their annoyance he disliked school and often misbehaved, he turned to duelling instead when he was given a pack of cards and taught the rules, from day 1 he was a talented duellist. When he got into the academy he was so happy, his parents however, were not.

 

Personality: Courageous lover-boy with a winning smile. A talented duelist, didn't make it into Obelisk mainly because of lack of attention and having "better things to do". He often loses focus in class and will doodle with anything he has, or talk to as many attractive females as possible.

Appearance: Tall, about 5'5", jet black hair, blue eyes, casual clothing - may vary

Bio: Born an orphan, Kinshiro lived in an orphanage until the age of 5, when he was taken in by an ex-pro duelist called Daijiro Ryuujin. Wanted to be a professional duelist, and practiced with Daijiro to become one. At the age of 12, Daijiro gave him the Icicle Beasts, cards which had once belonged to his brother until he had disappeared. Now that he is ready, Kinshiro has enrolled in Ultima Academy.

Personality: Can be a bit cold at times, but is loyal to his friends and to his duel spirit. Always ready to have a duel.

The students had finaly returned to the academy after what to Luke felt like endless lonely years of boredom and... well... lonelyness, at least he had Ryu was pretty much all he had to say to himself over the long break, but at least now he was ready for whatever life throws at him. he takes a seat around the middle of the room after failing to see any of his friends, and as usual, the normal boring chancelor shepard who was begining to get quite old steped onto the stage with a heavily amplified microphone "S-s-students of U-Ultima Acadamy.... T-Today we... uh... w-what was I supposed to say again... uh...?" luke sighs "has the old man still not retired...." just then there was a slight rumble "huh? was I the onlyone that felt that...?"

[Naimo]

Garnet was, as usual, staying outside busy selling counterfeit objects, to the oblivious crowd. The boys had accompanied her in doing so; she had promised them each 2.5% of the total profits, with 5% going towards Greg. As they continued selling and flogging, Garnet too felt a slight rumble. She ignored it; it was probably nothing.

[~Kefka~]

Athrun walked off to boat into the island and looked up at the academy once more. "Another year." he sighed. He looked over to see Garnet doing her usual selling. "Nothing changed with her over the summer i see." He looked around and saw no sign of his other friends or Joanna. "Hmmm, wonder where everyone else is?"

 

"Ceremony porbably." Nightshroud stood next to him. Athrun nodded.

 

"You're probably right. Let's go see if we can find them." The dark being nodded and the 2 walked off towards the academy.

it was probably nothing he thinks to him self as he tries to contain his laughter as the old school chancelor struggled with his lines... and his back! just then the rumble returned, slightly more powerful... and it doesn't stop m-maybe it's not nothing...

Dom gave a sigh. He was thinking, as usual. No one could really decipher his thoughts. Was he thinking of some old war machine? Or maybe a confusing trap? Was it the properties of the Steampunk genre? Maybe it was all of this together. Like a Confusing-trap-filled-steampunk-war-machine? Or maybe he was just hungry.

 

As if someone had read his thoughts, a rumble occurred, and Dom raised a mental eyebrow. "Prob's just my stomach...."

[Naimo]

Garnet was looking unnerved. "Guys, watch the stall for me." They nodded and she teleported to where Luke was. "Did you feel that rumble?"

[~Kefka~]

Athrun was on his way to the academy when he felt a slight rumble in his stomach. He looked down at it for a minute. "Hm? Something wrong?" asked Nightshroud noticing this. Athrun shook his head.

 

"Porbably just hungry. I haven't eaten since we got on the boat." he said as they continued to walk.

[Master Red]

Chris sat in the midst of the many students, listening to the ever so boring ever so long speech from the chanselor. he hadn't seen any of the others. Part of him was saddened by this and part of him was relieved he hadn't run into.. him. Sat down lower in the uncomfortable seat in some kind of desperate attempt to make it more comfortable for himself. No luck there...

"Hey!" Satyre whispered and poked him in the neck. Chris glared back at Satyre, leaving the girl that sat in the seat behind him and could not see the spirit very confused, but she decided to glare back at this rude boy. Chris remembered that no one cold see Satyre but him and blushed to then look back towards the stage. "Hey?" Satyre called again, but Chris was not intending to answer him. He did not want to be seen as 'that wierdo that speaks to himself'. "Well don't bother then" satyre exclaimed reclining in an empty seat looking grumpy.

he stands up "yeah I felt it" suddenly the rumble gets even stronger and luke loses his balance "Wah!" he says as he falls bakwards "o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k.... th-th-th-th-th-is-is-is-is-is-is i-i-i-i-i-i-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s wie-wie-wie-wie-wie-wie-rd-rd-rd-rd-rd.....a-a-a-a-a-a-a-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h" he tries to stand up but falls over again "a-a-a-a-a-r-r-r-r-r-g-g-g-g-g-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-"

Athrun notices Luke and Garnet. "So you guys are gettin' it too huh?" he said as he got closer. He placed a hand over his stomach. "What do you guys think is going on?"

[Naimo]

Garnet clicked her fingers and levitated as her lower half switched to a genie tail. Now as she remain airborne, unaffected by the rumbling, her thoughts turned to the boys. Were they going to be alright? She knew her money wasn't going to be - that was a downer itself. Remembering how capable the bookies group were anyway, she dived for Luke and Athrun and grabbed them, lifting them up in the air with her.

Chris fel off the chair from the rumble and was bouncing uncontrollably up and down from the continous rumbles. "What the hell is going on!?" he exclaimed trying to get his balance back. "Well I was trying to warn you, but noooooooooooooo!" Satyre said and rolled his eyes, of course he didn't fall over from all the rumbling since he was a spirit and didn't acctually stand on the ground, even though he wanted it to look like he did. Floating gives you no exercize what so ever, he had told chris. But Chris didn't really believe that, Spirits couldn't gain wait.. could they?

"thanks Garnet... i was sure I'd bite my tounge if that carried on" Just then the rumbling got even harder "whoa.... is it an earthquake...? or maybe our next adventure is starting already, hah hah!"

Garnet glanced around her. The whole scene was literally chaos. "What's causing all this? Don't tell me it's another time bomb, if it is I am going to explode ... not literally but, y'know... PUN NOT INTENDED!"

Dom didn't budge. He was up in his tree, he was fine. The only problem would be if the tree happened to want to collapse on him, in which case he would be screwed. Looking down at the ground below, he stuck his tongue out to the few unlucky individuals below him. "Well, this seems to be a crappy day already."

Athrun looked down from the air as his sister carried him and Luke. "What do you guys think is going to happen, and what about the others? We haven't even found them yet."

Chris was attempting to get out, but the floor shook so much that he barely got anywhere. he glanced at Satyre giving him a 'um-help-please?' look. Satyre sighed and shook his head "you know I can't make any sot of inpact in this world.. I'm just a spirit remember?" as he said the last thing he poked his hand through a student to help his case.

"i don't realy kn-" just then there was a huge CRASH! and smoke filled the room, the rumbling stopped and as the smoke cleared, the only things that could be seen were all the students, teachers, a giant meteor half the size of the room... and a squashed and certainly dead chancelor on stage... "Holy C***" Was all luke had to say

Chris eyes was now as huge as footballs.. "seriously what the hell?" he squeled and crawled backwards away from the funking meteor that had just crashed into the room.. just a few meters from himself. He crawled faster and faster away from it and when he finally managed to get to his feet he started running, just wanting to get the hell out of there. "I certainly didn't see THAT coming" Satyre said, calmly as ever as he ran beside Chris. "Oh shut up!" Chris yelled, annoyed at his Duel Spirit.

"What the hell was that?!" Athrun said a bit alarmed. "Nightshroud!" Suddenly the dark being appeared.

 

"Whoa! Heh, what happened here?"

 

"Nevermind that!" Athrun yelled. "Go and figure out where Joanna and the others are and get all that you can find to safety." Nightshroud nodded.

 

"You got it." he disappeared threw a dark portal.

Garnet almost dropped Luke and Athrun in surprise. That was unexpected; who would have thought a meteorite would land now of all times? "First bombs, now meteorites ..." she mumbled under her breath just as her three duel spirits appeared, eager to see what the trouble was.
