End of Days- Yu-Gi-Oh! (Basic, PG-16, Started, all welcome)

Kenny Bohner

Recommended Posts

[spoiler=Plot] In his apartment in Queens, New York, Kenny Bohner is visited in his room by a soldier wounded in the Other Worldly battle of Armageddon, which, as he explains, is rapidly moving towards a violent conclusion. He also said that the world's great heroes had already tried to confront the challenge, to no avail; Yugi and his friends, Jaden and his friends, even Yusei and the Signers fell to the forces of Darkness, stronger than ever before. With his final breath, he gives Kenny a new Deck, the Supreme Warrior Deck (see my Duelist Pack, in siggy). Ever since, he's been in contact with Supreme General Ukitake, the leader of the Supreme Army, who informs him that he and the other chosen ones are to do anything in their power to defeat the forces of the Demented Rebellion.

Both accepted. @Lunar, that sounds a lot like my friend, right down to the bunny...

@Titan, I don't think I've ever seen anyone pick Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV 8 as a Duel Spirit before. Well done. Also, when you're ready, you can put your "preliminary" post (how you ended up as a part of the struggle) if you want, or, if you so choose, you could have me do it for ya. Either way. Thanks!

Yeah, how's this:

Teenaged Madison sat on her stoop in her new neighborhood, in Brooklyn. She was feeling lonely and dejected, as usual. She was of petite height and build, with long, ebony hair swept over her large, purple-ish eyes. She was wrapping up sixteen years of miserable, pointless existence. Don't think things like that... her Unhappy Maiden card told her from inside of her pocket, It hasn't been all bad.

It was, though, in all truthfulness. She'd been sent to foster home after foster home, when, finally, she ended up in this piece of crap. She sighed, and stood up, stuffed rabbit in hand, and went up to her room. She had the craziest dream that night, about the end of the world... funny thing was, it wasn't a dream.

The darkness was absolute, hiding the faces of the masses in its impenetrable dark shroud. Silence reigned, and the tension, the mystery, hung in their like a guillotine tethered by a piece of wire.

FLASH! FLASH! And thus, the spotlights awakened, casting their bright glow straight and true. The illumination alighted the spirits of the audience, cast shadows upon their many varied and strange faces, a chimera of a beast to be sure. Those skeptics were prevalent as the wide-eyed innocents who came to witness but the finest in magic.

And then, the show began.

Magni appeared out of thin air, to the adulation of the shocked crowd. He came without smoke or flash, for that would come later. For now, he basked in their stunned silence.

He bent the realms of reality, the laws of physics. He showed what was to be believed, and subverted their expectations at every turn. His magnificence on the stage was unparalleled; this was his domain, this was his kingdom. Here, he and no other had power. Only he was the master.

FLASH FLASH and BANG! Water errupted from nowhere, only to tie in upon itself like a snake and swallow its own tail. Fire errupted, only to caress him like an old lover, and become as a bird, flying towards the ceiling as it had been long trained to do. The lights fought to keep up with him, his antics, and his mystique. On the stage, there was one question, and one question only-

What next?

Oh, okay...

Allen was a simple enough guy, residing in Yonkers, sprawled out on his sofa, watching a Whose Line is it, Anyway? re-run, waiting for his parents to return from their shifts running the bakery. He was so bored... his mind kept wandering to the visit he'd had from the soldier, about the message to meet up in Central Park at midnight. He kept contemplating as to whether or not he'd go. Finally, he decided for it. He'd left a note on the counter, and grabbed his Deck, along with some money for a cab.

OoC: Now we can start!

(Kenny) We cruised down the Brooklyn/Queens Expressway, towards Central Park, with Ros, Bob, Ami, and Joe in tow.

"So," Bob asked, "What do you think he wants?"

"I think he wants us to fight in the battle of Armageddon, quite honestly..." I replied.

"Really creative dialouge," he responded, rolling his eyes.

"I try," I said, as China Grove by the Doobie Brothers came on the radio. Little did I know at the time, I was being watched...

(Alias, Ky Kyo, and Death Journal) We were assigned by His Unholy Dementedness to spy on the new litter of dogs sent for Ukitake... they're all about to converge at one location. We're about to attempt to kill one of the soldiers... shouldn't be a problem. July 6, 2012.

Magni mopped his forehead with a cloth as he walked behind stage. The show was over, and he still felt exhilarated. He glanced around with a slight smile, flipped his cane, and grabbed his deck from the top of a dresser, next to several decks of regular playing cards. He cut the deck, shuffled it and drew 5 cards - Novin, Sieger, Unteordet, Interessen, and Lehrer, the stars of his show. He chuckled a little bit and shuffled them back into his deck, stretched out a little. He still felt a little restless; He figured, maybe he should go out on the streets for a while. Maybe do a short street performance... maybe get into a duel or two...

(Kenny) As the others waited in the car, I was just standing in the middle of Central Park, like a moron. Maybe I've been at the butt end of a divine prank of some sort. As I turned to walk away, though, I bumped into a flamboyantly dressed magician, surprising the both of us, and coaxing a shout from me. I apologized.

As I looked into his eyes, though, he seemed excited over something. He asked if I wanted to Duel, so I deployed my Disk, and told him to go first.

(Alias, Ko Kyo, and Death Journal) Hiding in the bushes in Central Park, we saw two of them, in a Duel. Ko Kyo attempted to silence them, but Alias stopped him. I sat there in silence, just waiting for the right moment to strike...

OoC: you forgot to put me by the Heroes Kenny

Rink was sitting on the Winged Mountain top, high enough to be able to see the darkness that had consumed much of known other-world.

"...." Rink was looking silently at the darkness. "What 'ar your thinking Rink" said Johan. Rink didn't answer. "Yo Rink, ar' you in ther' mate?" asked Johan while using his beak to hit Rink on the head.

"........."

"If you ar'n't answering me I will break your head open!". "Could you please be quite for a moment Johan." said Rink calmly but with a slight undertone of anger. "We're leaving, if I want to help this world I need allies!" Rink stood up and stepped on his Duelrunner and started riding towards the mountain's feet followed closely by a bit irritated Johan.

"One moment, my good sir." Magni said, with a flair and a twitch of his top hat. He took his staff and spun it, pointing it towards him. "A good magician always keeps everything he needs with him, in the event such as this!"

he smirked, and showed his bare arms. "Nothing up my sleeves, and... ALAKAZAR!" he shouted, spinning his staff once more, before squashing it in the palms of his hands, causing the length of wood to dissapear with a loud bang! A few moments later, Magni flew open his cape to reveal a sparkly, midnight blue duel disk with a rose-colored gem in the shape of a Spade symbol embedded into the sleeve portion. The try was embedded with magical symbols, and of the four suits of cards, each one of his monster zones marked with a Spade, Diamond, Heart, Club or a five-pointed star.

He drew his five cards with a flair, glancing at them in interest.

"For my first trick... I Special Summon my Tauschen Assistant, Novin to the field!"

there was a bright spark of light, and appearing on the first monster zone was a youngish, beautiful woman looking about 17. She giggled girlishly, and flipped her gray top hat on her head. (1200/800)

"When my lovely assistant makes the field, I can then discard a Spell Card to grant her a Spell Counter..."

he did so, and Novin giggled as a pink gem on the center of her chest glowed brightly.

He waved his left arm out dramatically. "And now... for a miracle! The first act of the day, go, the Miracle of Apparation!"

There was a bright puff of smoke from the second monster zone. Novin giggled and clapped wildly as a tall man, looking in his young 20s and dressed in brightly-colored golden robes bowed to her and the audience.

"I summon Tauschen Magician - Unteordet from the deck!" (1600/1400)

he smirked. "You see, the card I discarded for Novin's effect is known as the Tauschen Miracle - Apparation Act!; and when that particular card is sent to the Graveyard, it allows me to summon one of my Magicians immediately!"

He smirked. "And now, Unteordet, do your thing!"

The gold-clad magician chuckled, and with a wave of his staff, made a deck of playing cards appear in his hand, fanned out. He offered a card to Novin, who took it, and then placed it back on Uteordet's deck. the male magician smirked, tossed the cards through the air, and then caught them again, showing Novin's card on the top- which happened to have the face of Tauschen Miracle - Apparation Act!. He smirked and shuffled it back into his deck, a gem on his cape glowing with energy.

"You see, when Unteordet is Summoned, I can return a Spell Card to my deck in order to give him a Spell Counter. In addition, he gets 300 extra attack points thanks to that counter." (1600/1400 - 1900/1400).

Magni have another flourish, then placed a card face down in the Spell/Trap Zone. Novin and Unteordet both smiled towards the audience and gestured to the card.

"And I believe that will do for my turn."

It looked as though Kenny had his work cut out for him. Regardless, he drew his opening five, plus another. He grinned.

"Well, bud, that's impressive, I'll grant you that much; but, as you'll see, I can keep up just fine." He set a card in his Spell/Trap zone, and Set a monster.

"Now, see, I know you magicians are typically a tricky sort... but I can guarantee that I'm trickier."

He activated, from his hand, Toll, and set another Spell/Trap card.

Still asmirk, he ended his turn.

Magni's eyes seemed to sparkle. He smirked as he drew his card, and tapped his forehead with it. "Many such men have made such a folly as yourself, monsier, for thinking they could outwit a magician."

He smirked, then gestured downward. "I activate my trap card! Go, Tauschen Sleight - Reaching through the glass!"

The card rose and Uteordet rose also, showing off his arms before making a large pane of glass appear. He flipped it over three times, showing it to the audience, before holding it with his left arm, and placing his right arm through the pane, as if it were water; the glass didn't shatter, or leave any mark. He pulled his arm out, flipped the pane again to show it was solid, and then flicked a card out from under his palm. With a smirk, he pocketed it.

Magni chuckled. "Parting the Glass is twofold, you see. First I get its regular effect, and search my deck for any card with 'Tauschen' in its name..."

he did so, and added it to his hand, showing he now had five cards.

"And then, because it is a Sleight, I get a second card from my deck that is any 'Tauschen Miracle' I so choose."

he searched his deck again, and added a 6th card to his hand.

"And now, for the show to begin... I set another card, and then activate the noble Tauschen Grand Stage!"

he waved his arms dramatically as the scenery shifted, and changed into a bright stage house. The curtains were drawn and spotlights were seen on the sidelines, though they did not shine on the field; Uteordet and Novin both bowed to the crowd, which now existed.

Magni also gave a bow. "And now, my stage's effect! You see, while it is activated, both of us may special summon Spellcasters from our hand, so long as we discard a Spell to do so. I shall demonstate- Alazakam!" he yelled, dropping a card into his Graveyard. One of the spotlights activated, shining around the stage before centering on a single monster zone next to Uteordet. There was a massive bam of color and smoke, and then standing there was a tall, muscular-looking magician with strong-looking sideburns yet a bald head. He wore a bright red magician's uniform, identical to Uteordet's aside from the color. He swept his broad-rimmed top hat from his head to bow at the crowd, which had gone wild at his appearance. Novin was just as excited, clapping wildly; Uteordet rolled his eyes, but still clapped politely.

"I give to you...Tauschen Magician Sieger!" Magni exclaimed (2500/2100).

Magni also chuckled. "I should mention something else. When a fellow Tauschen monster is Special Summoned to the field, the other Magicians prior to them gain a Spell Counter."

Uteordet's cloak glowed as a second gem alite (1900/1400 - 2200/1400).

"And not only that, but the stage ITSELF gains a Spell Counter!"

There was a wild humming sound, and a Spotlight twitched as its color changed from plain light to a bright blue. Sieger laughed at the change.

"Next... since I discarded a Tauschen Miracle, I can activate it! Go, Tauschen Miracle of Vanishing!"

Sieger gave a chukle, and showed his lack of sleeves. He waved his arm, generating a wand for him to use. He then waved it at the opponent's side of the field, as the left face-down spell or trap dissipated.

Magni chuckled. "As you may have guessed, the Miracle of Vanishing makes a card dissapear. Since I'm quite sure that card wasn't a magician, it is removed from play, and probably beyond your reach. Now..."

Magni chuckled again "I know it's a lot to keep track of, but let's go. When Sieger is summoned, he has his own effect; I can discard a Spell from my Deck in order to grant him a Spell Counter."

Magni chuckled as brightly colored sparkles appeared all around him, compressing into a gem on his cloak, which glowed wildly.

"Unlike Uteordet, Sieger doesn't gain attack points with his Spell Counter. However, since I discarded another Tauschen Miracle... Go, Tauschen Miracle of Dramatic Levitation!"

He waved his hand. Sieger also chuckled, and waved his wand. "I can now change the battle positions of every monster on the field; Of course, at the moment, I only want to change one. Your face-down monster, I am going to flip face-up. Keep in mind that because of Levitation's effect, Flip Effects don't activate."
