EliminateHRN
Yesterday, my parents were cleaning out albums and my dad let me rip a few of the CDs. One of them was the Beastie Boys' Ill Communication and Check Your Head. I love them; their like a rap rock group, but their still really good. Who else likes this band? Thewho
I do! I have to say that Paul's Boutique is still my favorite by them. It had a completely diffrent sound when compared to other hip hop records in the 90's

EliminateHRN
Still haven't heard that. I need to; I love them. Better than some other hip-hop artists I heard.

They really set a map for hip hop artist wanting to experiment with sounds and textures, such as OutKast, Cypress Hill and Dr. Dre. Paul's Boutique was overlooked when it first came out because it wasn't a hip hop record. It was a really complex piece of work that used witty comical rhyming with layered sampling. and today it is considered a classic.

Slash
The only song I've heard by them is No Sleep Till Brooklyn, but with that as an example, I would have to say they are pretty awesome :)
