GenzoTheHarpist
Summoned Skull beatdown was the best deck, soon followed by Jinzo beatdown in the fourth set.

~/Coolio Prime\~
Yugioh went from mindless to well-thought out to stupid and based on how much money/luck you have. This was the mindless period.

As a matter of fact, I can. This was Anthony Ballen's deck who had won the most number of tournaments at the time (this is when magic ruler came out.) Evidently this was before axe of despair was seeing play everywhere. Von Csent
That deck, for the time it was used, looks very powerful. Very typical for a beatdown deck, by far the most commonly ran deck-type. I would have expected Summoned Skull though.
GenzoTheHarpist
Towards the tail end of magic ruler, this was considered the absolute best possible deck you could make: Monsters: 18 3x Summoned Skull3x Dark Elf3x Mechanicalchaser3x La Jinn2x Witch3x Magician of Faith1x Cyber Jar Spells: 18 1x Pot1x Raigeki1x Dark Hole1x Reborn1x Change of Heart1x Snatch2x Heavy Storm2x Swords2x Tribute to the Doomed1x Delinquent Duo1x Forceful Sentry2x Axe2x MST Traps: 5 1x Mirror Force2x Magic Jammer2x Robbin Goblin
Von Csent
That deck is frightening. Or was. Then again, if that deck were to go against some of today's best decks, assuming they followed the current ban list, how would that deck fair? Then again' date=' if that deck were to go against some of today's best decks, assuming they followed the current ban list, how would that deck fair?[/quote'] The decks today would win. Even the broken spell lineup they had then can't counter the fact that all their monsters are weak vanillas. And there is nothing in that deck that could come close to stopping any OTK deck.
