Honestly' date=' I don't believe that Hades Hand Reaper's effect is all that overpowered. It seems fair in its effects given that if you draw Traps: opponent loses life points, Magic: you lose life points. When the Reaper is destroyed the owner is allowed to summon TWO Level 2 or lower monsters compared to the opponent being allowed to summon TWO Level 8 or lower monsters and then attacking the low level monsters. IDK...seems decent enough to be used...

You obviously don't know what drawing 3 cards means in the world of YuGiOh. Constantly having the ability to draw 3 cards is overpowered. Hades hand Reaper IS overpowered.

It's no different than playing a Pot of Greed every turn (with an extra card obviously). I played the game for a while, I completely understand how drawing works. In fact, it's possible the owner of Hades Hand Reaper could run him/herself out of deck resulting in a loss given some of the combinations of cards that can be used to turn its effect on its owner.

Really now? It was a fair comparison considering the effect allows the owner to draw three cards every turn (Pot of Greed allows you to draw two and then you get to draw another to bring it to three, the math is simple).

It's a card...I judged it based on which one I liked more. The Moonlight Gargoyle is rather fail in and of itself. It's an effect that has been used before in multiple incarnations and derivations.

Does your level make you feel bigger and better than everyone else? Does your life fail that badly that your stars are the only way to compensate for your daily failures?

that's rude' date=' don't be mean to him just because he's a 2-star.

Honestly, if he must bring up "level" then the argument is null and void. The "I'm bigger than you" and insults arguments are usually fall backs when there's nothing constructive left for them to say...

@ Puppyboy (majortim)

Ok' date=' you know what? Big ben made a vote and stated his reasons for it. you downsizing his reasons because he sees gameplay differently is flaming and spam. I will report you if you continue to harass him over this as well as disrespect for his rank on the forum.

The point of the game nowadays is to win, and win fast. Drawing extra cards will make the winning faster. And guess what? Pot of Greed was banned. And so what if you might deck out via Hades Hand Reaper. It doesn't change the fact that the card is, and will be overpowered.

you're all ignoring the fact that the oppoennt gets to special summon up to 2 level 8 or lower monsters from their graveuard. that could change a duel, but I see your point 3 cards is a bit too much. Maybe it would have worked better if it says pick up (not draw) 3 cards.

This is a 1 on 1 thread (Or in this case - 2 on 3) The last 20 or so posts have been arguing. Back on topic please. If we continue arguing majortim, it is less likely for us to get the one more vote we need to win. And the vote we are arguing over doesn't really make a difference. 6-2, odds are still in our favor.
