The Arceus Disciples

Recommended Posts

For me it is without a doubt my Shiny Tyranitar (ShinyLucky), (I name just about every Legendary or super rare pokemon I catch "Lucky", It confuses my opponents in games like Pokemon Coliseum where you can select only the name of the Pokémon), it took me over a month to find the Shiny Larvitar with my Pokéradar.

He knows Dark Pulse, Rock Slide, Dragon Claw, and Earthquake.

Have just read a discussion on Pokemon Movie 12 and have gone into 'rant' mode.
Arceus, a god who is not all-knowing, all-loving, all-seeing or, in fact, very smart. Right... And voiced in the English dub by someone who obviously smokes. In Japanese, he had the voice of an old man (which was fine); why didn't they cast Dan Green in Arceus' role?

And since "Arceus and the Jewel of Life" seemed too like a fan-fic to be true (see also: "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Super Fusion! Bonds That Transcend Time"), you couldn't take it seriously. So it was terrible.

It didn't help that the 'ancient race' could map space, time and Giratina's and Arceus' dimensions; the third being only recently discovered and the last one seemingly unknown to everyone but a small few; who haven't told anyone about the coming of an irate, vengeance-driven being with the power to destroy continents for some reason.

Plus the fact that Pikachu (base stats 300) could damage Arceus (base stats 720 + divine abilities) while the Dragon Gods had failed miserably. That's anime physics for you.

And time travel only works when you do it seriously, as in "Star Trek" and even they tried to keep it at a low level. Nintendo obviously didn't do any research into time-travel problems and so it all goes pear-shaped.

What not to say to a group of ancient, xenophobic people who somehow have a Heatran: "We're from the future!"... Also, do not show someone from the past technology that is yet to exist! Plus the fact technically the anime cannot continue from that movie since it never ended.

Think about it.

Present: Arceus comes and rains judgement down on humanity. Ash and co. go back in time to stop Arceus from becoming angry.

Changed Past: Arceus does not become angry due to Ash and co.'s actions.

Changed Present: Arceus does not rain judgement down on humanity. Ash and co. do not go back in time.

Past: Without Ash and co., Arceus is betrayed and seeks to return and destroy humanity.

Present: Arceus comes and rains judgement down on humanity. Ash and co. go back in time to stop Arceus from becoming angry.

And the loop continues.

Technically, Ash and co. are now stuck in a permanent temporal loop. That's one possible, unexpected ending to the series.

I apologise for this rant.

And Zelda Hero, what are the natures of your two Tyranitars? Plus, you might have just EV trained one better.

Shinies don't have better stats than their normal counterparts...perhaps the Shiny has a better nature?

@Max: Well said. The 12th movie was a disappointment all around...but what can you seriously expect from a franchise whose movies have slowly been getting worse and worse? The movie lacked continuity...damaged by Pikachu? Seriously? The whole movie just made me go "lolpokemon12".

The only shinies I have are the ones that look better than their counterparts; ie Charizard, Manectric and Rayquaza.

I got my Dialga, Palkia and Giratina from a small event held when I was on holiday in France. It was brilliant. I ended up with a German Dialga (Zeitkonig) and Palkia (Raumkonig), and an Italian, French and Spanish set of Giratinas.

Haha, excellent. To both of you and your Shiny finds. :)

I got a chain of 79 Magnemite with my Radar and I still didn't acquire a Shiny one...79! After fighting off a bout of depression, I decided to take a break from Shiny hunting this way. :)

And as luck would have it, a Shiny Geodude was found by luck 20 minutes after I gave up on PokeRadar...that's the first real break I've had with Shinies. My Missed Shiny Timeline:

Pokemon Silver - Shiny Gyra (Lake of Rage) Like so many other Pokemon youngsters, I killed it, and saved. XD

Pokemon Silver - Shiny Swinub (Ice Cave) Turned game off because I thought it glitched.

Pokemon Sapphire - Shiny Garifarig (Safari Zone) ...Yeah. The Safari Zone. I don't want to throw a rock at it, I want to battle and CATCH it! :(

Pokemon Diamond - Shiny Gulpin (Safari Zone) ....I can't believe I didn't catch him...

Pokemon Diamond - Shiny Geodude (Ruin Maniac Cave) CAUGHT :)

I remember killing shiny pokemon like a gligar and an oddish' date=' when I first saw them, I had no idea that they were any different

[/quote']

The rather blingy effect at the beginning of a shiny battle always caught my eye.

I seem to have bizarre luck with shines. I don't want them, but I come across them.

In Gen II, I encountered 2, the Red Gyarados (and caught it with a Level 100 Farfetch'd from Gold, traded onto Silver and then Crystal) and the Lapras in Union Cave. I restarted enough to get a shiny but then decided I didn't want an awful-looking Pokemon.

In Gen III, the first Pokemon I encountered in Emerald was a shiny Poochyena. And walking through Diglett's Cave yielded a shiny.

In Gen IV, I got Charizard, Manectric and Rayquaza from friends; but I have caught a small selection. Including a Dewgong.

My tip for catching rare Pokemon. Raise an Absol up to around Lv.60. Have the moveset:

Night Slash

Psycho Slash (both for ending battles you can't run from)

False Swipe

Thunder Wave

Heck, I caught Regigigas with it (after throwing 34 Ultra Balls at the blasted thing).

P.S. One nature isn't better than any other.

Some are better than others. If a Pokemon knows all Physical moves, a Modest nature is less than useless. And vice versa.

Also, Speed-reducing natures can allow certain moves such as Gyro Ball to power up.

The neutral natures should only be used on Pokemon when there would be a severe problem if one stat was reduced. Like Swalot and Glalie. All it's stats are pretty balanced, so a neutral nature is alright.

Can anyone plz comment here (Pokemon recolors)

http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/thread-180313.html

On topic... I agree

Your 'Darkeus' looks rather like the image I used for my "Fallen Arceus".
52mkgj.jpg

Effect: "Fury Token" + "Pokemon-Arceus"

This card can only be Special Summoned by Fusion Summon. This card is also treated as a Fiend-Type monster. When this card is Summoned, and during each of your Draw Phases, roll a six-sided die once. Treat the Card Attributes as #'s 1-5 (except LIGHT), in alphabetical order. This card's Attribute is also treated as the same as the die roll, until your next Draw Phase (If the die result is 6, roll again). This card cannot be destroyed by battle. Any Battle Damage this card's controller takes is reduced to 0. When this card is Summoned, remove all non-DARK monsters on the field from play. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, you cannot Summon monsters. You can negate the effects of Spell, Trap or Effect Monster cards that designate this card. During each of your opponent's End Phases, destroy all face-up Attack Position monsters your opponent controls which did not declare an attack. During the third Main Phase 2 after this card was Summoned, this card is removed from play.

Isn't 'Darkeus' just like Arceus with a Dark Plate

No' date=' 'Darkeus' would be a corrupted dark counterpart to Arceus. As in it's base type would be Dark, not Normal; and would change its secondary type based on Plates, not its primary type.

TRUE lol

Someone name this plz:
