Zelda Hero 1
You have to be active in the club and bring up new topics like What is your favorite pokemon type and which pokemon of that type is your favorite? I love steel, Scizor is my favorite
Max Darkness
I'm torn between Fire and Psychic-Type and Ninetales and Gardevoir. (Although I use them both in Platinum.) Steel's too easy to defeat (especially Scizor); one Flamethrower and that's it, and Fighting covers everything it's strong against.
Zelda Hero 1
But what about Dialgai?Besides Scizor is ONLY weak against Fire, so I just use Skill Swap to give Scizor immunity to Fire
PokeMaster Calvin
i like dark + ghost (sableye) because they have no weakness. nothing is super effective against them.
Max Darkness
But what about Dialgai?Besides Scizor is ONLY weak against Fire' date=' so I just use Skill Swap to give Scizor immunity to Fire[/quote'] Dialga is weak to Ground and Fighting-Types, very common offensive types (think Lucario) Skill Swap takes a turn, and Scizor isn't very fast, while Fire-Types are. You'll probably be outpaced and hit for massive damage. Plus, you'd need a Pokemon with Flash Fire in battle as well. i like dark + ghost (sableye) because they have no weakness. nothing is super effective against them. ...Except Foresight; in which case you're dead. And their stats are really quite low.
PokeMaster Calvin
yes good point. i still like dark types a lot. i love darkrai
Max Darkness
Noctowl and Honchkrow are both good Darkrai-beaters. Outmatched in stats, but with Insomnia, and can learn a Fighting-Type Hidden Power and Silver Wind. I prefer Giratina and Rayquaza.
PokeMaster Calvin
yeah. i also like mewtwo and mew. and froslass. check out my pokemon and star wars set y dont you
Zelda Hero 1
Steel is great because it is the only type that is resistant to Dragon moves plus poison doesn't work on it, it is also resistant to rock, steel, bug, ghost, psychic, dark, grass, flying, and normal moves Steel types are resistant to over half the pokemon typesBronzong is a great type with both Heatproof and Levitate to cover either of its weaknesses
PokeMaster Calvin
i know but one fire move and theyre done.
Max Darkness
Or 1 Fighting move. Lucario with Blaze Kick and Aura Sphere spells death for any Steel-Type; and they can't be used for attack since only Rock and Ice are weak to them. Max Darkness
Favorite and/or best type. The most powerful are probably Fire and Electric; the first because of brute strength and damage and the second because of only one weakness and Hidden Power. PokeMaster Calvin
hmm thats intresting. i say dragon type cause its powerful and has few weaknesses
Max Darkness
hmm thats intresting. i say dragon type cause its powerful and has few weaknesses The problem is though because it is powerful and has few weaknesses' date=' [i']everyone[/i] has one on their team, knowing either Dragon Pulse/Claw, which means a dragon is actually more vulnerable than an Electric-Type since more people carry dragons around than they do Ground-Types and you're more likely to encounter one. (I do have a Salamence, that said...)
Shroi Bara
Its kinda true that everyone has ether a dragon move or a dragon pokemon My chose for dragon was Flygon(Fly,Dragon Rage,Flame Thrower,Sunny Day) Its mostly the powerhouse of my team. Max Darkness
I did have a Flygon (which was in fact replaced by Salamence); Flygon . Tarragon . Adamant . Levitate . Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Rock Slide, Thunderpunch Salamence . Wyvern . Mild . Intimidate . Dragon Pulse, Flamethrower, Brick Break, Thunder Fang If you're interested, Wyvern's brother (back on Emerald) knows: Salamence . Drake . Rash . Intimidate . Dragon Claw, Flamethrower, Brick Break, Aerial Ace
