Sploda
Viewtiful Joe = Worse Power Rangers Ripoff ever.
DL
I thought the worst power ranger rip-off was Lelouch in his Zero outfit.
Sploda
@DLlolno Viewtiful Joe dresses in Red with weird glasses and does random poses that do nothing but make him look like a pansy.
DL
Well I can totally see this: Lelouch: Behold, Brittania! We are the Black Knights! *behind him appear the power rangers in various poses* Lelouch: *facepalms* I could have gotten Kallen and the rest of the resistance, I could have gotten a guerrile force, but no....I had to choose the teenagers with attitude problems... Shadow Zero
lol I could see that as well. However, I do not believe Viewtiful Joe to be a power rangers ripoff. The storylines of the two aren't even remotely related, aside from the tennager getting powers from a watch thing, but that's the only similarity, and even then the powers afforded are quite different. DL
What Cree-bozu means is that he himself is a power ranger rip-off. Not that his story is a rip-off of them.
Shadow Zero
Do the power rangers (except for turbo) have the power of Mach Speed? No. Do they have the power of Slow or Zoom? No. Are they awesome enough to be able to use their powers and make up new attacks ON THE SPOT? No. Do they have an awesome one person ship that forms the cpu of an awesome giant fighting robot which so far has only been used ONCE? No. The only way that I am seeing it as being even remotely a ripoff is the V-Watch and Mach Speed concepts, as Joe only used Robo-Six once, where as the power rangers used their multi-piece Zords in just about every single episode. So yeah, similarities in only two aspects, and even then only one of them was similar in a specific arc. Sorry, but no. Just no.
DL
Watch power rangers SPD. THEN come talk to me. And besides weird posesoutfits That alone makes them similar.
Shadow Zero
NO U! Watch Viewtiful Joe, and THEN come talk to ME. Kapish? And I have seen SPD. They still used the Megazord in practically every episode that I know of, and that whole eclipse thing was just stupid.
Sploda
Do the power rangers (except for turbo) have the power of Mach Speed? No. Mighy Morphin has the Radbug, Lightspeed travels insanely fast through SPACE, Power Rangers in Space travel at Mach speeds on SWORDS! Do they have the power of Slow or Zoom? No. You have obviously never seen them flying around in Slow mo after dodging an attack, and as for a speed up what do you call the Red Ranger's power boosts? Are they awesome enough to be able to use their powers and make up new attacks ON THE SPOT? No. Except for the fact that they make up a ton of them on the sopt involving team work and new weapons and skills in every series. Do they have an awesome one person ship that forms the cpu of an awesome giant fighting robot which so far has only been used ONCE? No. Dragonzord says hi. Just no.

Shadow Zero
.............Okay,so perhaps I just forgot a whole bunch of Power Rangers history. xD But the main point is this. Viewtiful Joe =/= Power Rangers, and the power sets are different even if you don't want to admit it. This also proves that Creator is a Power Rangers Otaku. xD
Deustodo
I think there is no such thing as Power Ranger Otaku. I think in this case Otaku can be switched by fan.
Sploda
@ZeroNo it means I have a good memory, and I recently read the Wikipedia pages (I was REALLY bored).
Shadow Zero
lolno. Otaku means fanboy or fangirl Deus, so it is quite appropriate.
Deustodo
But I always thought that Otaku was too much of a fan, like, really like something that he should get doctor's help. I never use the term Otaku, I only use fan, because If you really like something, you are a fan. Fanboys and fangirls are just stupid to say. DL
There isn't a set definition for Otaku. BUT It USED to be an insult. Now, mostly for Americans, it means someone obsessed with someone. But to generalize, someone who is a fan of something. I myself am an anime/manga Otaku.
