DL
@Lulu - Looks like I won't. I have to go for a bit, but I'll be back soon. Also, I'll be using magic tricks. @El - No Sprites. >,> Wasn't planning on using them.
El Make
Creator, with DL, anything's possible.... ANYthing.... Especially pedophile storms... D:
Sploda
Nope, because it's either my way or the highway in this RP. I have a co-owner but my say trumps his.
DL
But magic is allowed?
Sploda
Only as long as it is mixed with martial Arts, or and used minorly unless in a Special attack.
DL
Hmmm... so it's okay to use magic tricks as long as my character knows martial arts? And there can be as many attacks as I want, as there's only a limit on special attacks?
Sploda
Martial arts or fighting arts are systems of codified practices and traditions of training for combat. Martial arts all have a very similar objective: defend oneself or others from physical threat. As such you don't need to list all of your attacks as they shouldn't be named to begin with. At the most only your stance should be named, and you don't have to list those. EDIT: Oh and DL FYI Kendo is consider martial Arts (hint).
DL
Ah. K. So all I'm missing is my martial arts style, as I've got everything but that and personality (a cinch) Any style is fine, right?
Sploda
Yes it can be made up, or a real life one. Just make sure it is a realistic made up one (for example one of mine is based off the Snake, Crane, and Tiger styles).
DL
I'm using 3 styles from kenichi =
Sploda
Alright, as long as they can be consider Martial Arts.
DL
Yes, definitely. Since they're real martial arts. =3 Muay Thai, JiuJitsu, and Karate
Sploda
Muay Thai, a Hard Martial art, meaning you use force to attack and defend, is typically used by people from or descended from people who are from Thailand. JiuJitsu is a soft Martial Art, meaning you use the opponent's force and the flow of your body to dodge and deflect attacks. Karate a Hard martial art that focuses on Open handed strikes, Kicking and Grappling. Excellent choices.
DL
:D One more Q. Do the special attacks have to be linked to the martial arts? If so, I have to create my own (which will be realistic, in a way) and dump Karate for it.
Deustodo
Actually, Link, In the tournament, if I join, I would only watch the matchs and, if the chance appears, boost a little someone with a bit, only a bit, of madness. But I think it wouldn't be allowed, right King Louch?
Sploda
1. Special attacks don't have to be directly linked to Martial Arts, but should compliment the style they are part of.2. You don't have to dump Karate, each style gets 2 special attacks, so if you have 2 for each one you have 6 special attacks.
DL
Actually, I want to add an illusionary-type martial arts. (no, not shadow clones >,>) So I think I will dump Karate for it, sicne I already have a majorly offensive Martial arts, Muay Thai. Speaking of, I'm surprised how much you know about those martial arts. You haven't read History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi, right? @Deus - You're right, you joining would mean godmodding >,> Since you'd have to fight. Sploda
@DeusYeah, not allowed. The only thing that will happen outside the tournament ring will be the administering of my healing capsules so that the combatants are capable of seeing the rest of the tournament and surviving the trip back. @DLFunny, My Shadow Fist Technique uses illusions. and no I haven't I've been researching Martial Arts for about 2 months now. DL
Dude, you should SO read it! It's about a kid who uses mixed Martial Arts! And the reason I even know what Muay Thai IS! D: And the reason I know a lot about martial arts.
Sploda
Don't need to read it, I know a lot about Martial Arts already. It is very simple to mix Martial arts, especially when they flow together. That is why I like to use the 6 animal Styles; Snake, Monkey, Crane, Leopard, Tiger, and Dragon. (IRL I can use basic Snake and Basic Tiger). DL
But it's not about learning martial arts, it's about watching a below-average-in-everything kid, who struggles with becoming a martial artist. he studies some chinese martial arts(from the perverted master of all chinese martial arts), jiujitsu(from the philosophical jiujitsu master), karate (from the 100 Dan karate master), and muay thai (from the death god of underground muay thai) it's a really great manga. I jsut happened to learn alot from it. You could probably, too. Especially Mubyoshi.

DL
Lolno. xD Also, in karate kid, he only studied karate. Kenichi has to study martial arts in a world where the gap between disciple and master is amazingly wide. But the fight scenes are really great,. And let's not forget it has Sigfried, the guy with almost master-level counters. (nothing related to YGO)
