Fusion X. Denver
That doesn't quite negate my point though DMG :/As for your statement, there are a lot of action figures that have buttons that activates motion by them Or look at it like thisActon figures are guys' answer to girls' dolls
Ultimate Assassin Ninjew
Action figures can be used differently then dolls and can't be slept with....
Fusion X. Denver
Ah yes, that tooDolls are usually cuddly, whereas almost all action figures are made of plasticAnd dolls that are plastic are mostly hollow, actions figures are notThere's the difference
Spirit of DMG
In other words, they're like the rope of the string wold. Essentially the same thing, but with an attempt at not being feminine.
Fusion X. Denver
DMG, it may be because I lack half the brain that you do, but I have no idea what your analogy means..
Ultimate Assassin Ninjew
Yes DMG that is correct. Fusion, how could you not get that one?
Fusion X. Denver
Ohh now I get it.Eh think what you will, but if action figures and dolls are the same thing, why do they have separate names?
Spirit of DMG
Think about it. Rope is basically a more "manly" version of string Action Figures are basically more "manly" versions of dolls EDIT: Ninja'd For the same reason Cocoa Puffs and Cocoa Pebbles have different names. They're the same thing, but giving them different names lets the producers charge different prices for them. Why they want to do that, I don't know. All I know is, that's the case. Ultimate Assassin Ninjew
Because action figures are for guys and dolls are for girls, duh.
Fusion X. Denver
Ah...You're right I suppose, but I still kinda consider them a separate thingNo wait, I know how to resolve this

BlackSkullCortez
Get Legos? Or maybe get fabric action figures that are soft and snuggly?
Fusion X. Denver
I texted Cha-Cha (a free texting service) and this is what it said to the question "Are action figures dolls?" "An action figure is a posable figurine of a character. Technically its a type of doll, but boys hate that label." So you were right DMG, action figures are technically dolls :/EDIT: Cortez that isn't the issue here -.-
Ultimate Assassin Ninjew
I was basicly saying the same thing...
Spirit of DMG
=3 yay ^.^ I love being right.
BlackSkullCortez
@FusionJust trying to prove a way they could be the same thing. Even though they technically ARE the same thing. If they were not the same thing, then there would be absolutely no similarities or ways they could be the same. If they were TECHNICALLY the same thing, that void in between would be filled. So a cuddly action figure is technically tying Action Figures to Dolls, which means they are technically the same thing. (Nobody's going to understand this...)
