Zexaeon
@Camosity: That's exactly the thing; you can't say I'm calling you children for discussing wrongs of a president. Because that's not what I was calling you children for. I'm telling you to grow up, because you're acting like less than a year of in-office activity is enough to condemn a man. Yes, Bush did a few good things. But he mostly funked up. And Obama has been working very diligently to fix those mistakes. So you can claim Bush was better all you like, but the fact remains that we are in fact doing better. Maybe do a little research. The problem with most Americans is that they always want instant gratification. Accept that these things take TIME to accomplish, be patient, and THEN give your opinion. Sander
I'm expecting Xander right about now. You know' date=' just for the spite of it, I'm not going to post in this thread =p [i']owai...[/i] Meh, since I'm already here, might as well give it a shot. All in all, he just hasn't been in Office for a long time, 9 months or so, if I'm not mistaken. I'm not that into politics, but 9 months isn't that long to make some über-drastic changes. OR, I might as well say that Obama played the US for the gullible fools that they are.

~/Coolio Prime\~
YCM's bias and impressionability is extremely apparent and annoying here. Apparently shutting down torture stations and trying to halt the use of nukes is weakening your country, and apparently it's bad to apologize to countries you have ravaged. And Bush had it worse because of what Clinton did apparently because of the fact that our economy went up with Clinton. And the horrible things Bush has done are apparently worse than what Obama has done for……well, no reason other than they said so. Also: I doubt anyone in this thread has really any knowledge of politics' date=' and you're all incredibly ignorant to what Obama is in fact doing. Let me at least put it simply - presidency terms last for four years. Obama has not been in office for very long. About 1/4 the time. Now answer me this: Do you honestly think that all of the bullshit Bush did over the coarse of an 8-year Term can be easily undone within the span of a year? Grow the f*** up.[/quote'] Can you answer me this: Do you think everything that Bush did was completely terrible? Also why did Obama blow away several billion dollars on nothing useful? Spot on like an economist. I think Obama spending budget is a very outdated economic government style, called Keynesian ism. This almost borders on socialism, and we will see what happens when all that money comes back into the system. If America didn't have any Socialist aspects you would have to pay every time the fire fighters came to your house. >_>
Dark Mousy
I'm not saying that it didn't. I'm just saying it's moving dangerously close to socialism. Obama is just making more mistakes. IMO. Is that right? Do elaborate. I've said that already. It's a few posts above.

Dark Mousy
Obama wants to add more of that. He's approaching Canada with the health card bill. But Keynesian economics tells us to spend, spend, and spend in bad economic times, which will only mean more moving left... he could land america like Sweden for all we know. Knowing that he needs dates, appointments and approvals. How can you expect him to meet your "expectations"? I know that I haven't really judged him yet, until maybe his 3rd year... Then you can go apeshit and fly your fecal matter at him.
Dark Mousy
I think Obama has the wrong plan. Moving towards socialism helps other economies (i.e. the Icelandic one, which has been hit at least 8 times as hard), but not the American one. Obama has yet to think of the long term problems of his bailout, governments are disrupting the price signals with all of his bailouts, competition is decreasing, which as I've said, helps some economies, the American economy is special... But let's give Keynesian-ism another try.

Dark Mousy
Huh, it true Obama has his points. I'm not trying to invalidate your point. However, it's more complicated than that, and it doesn't really suit audience. From a different point of view, I think Obama's making a mistake, but we will see how it turns out. Seeing how the Canadian Dollar is now trading at 97 cents, it's the Ruble is trading 29.3:1, when historically, it's been 60:1...
