That's not true. J-max is a great mod, so is Chaos pudding and Yin. I'm eternally grateful to them because they listen as if they aren't mods and I feel I can say anything without a ban.

Some mods aren't thanked or respected because they're not doing their jobs right.

No. I will not ban a member if he is right, unless he is being an idiot about it. The fact is, he is not right. That is what I'm trying to get across to him.

He obviously was not here when the DA raids happened. Same for the rest of the things the mods helped to end.

Just a peaceful comment, but what that all comes down to is stereotyping like in real life. All it takes is for one mod to do something unnecessary or displeasing and then all the mods are labeled as evil or mean. So while everything argued was most likely true at one point that doesn't make it constantly true. And I'm decently sure you knew what would happen when you were made a mod; just saying. So while Gaara's points may never have applied to you, it might have applied to a mod at one point.

In the end, taking any position of power is going to end like that. Even if you always try to make good decisions, if the people are angry then fear and judgement should be expected to follow anything displeasing to the people.

I respect the work the mods have to do to keep the site as spam-free as it is. And I also find it sad that all mods get judged in that manner. But in this case, it seems like both sides just have to suck it up and deal with it. There's really no better alternative to organizing the site so that's how it'll have to be.

Ya, I figured that when I was made one. You've been here a year, you should have noticed. Hostilities toward mods has gotten worse in this past year, and that was worse than in 07'.

Funny thing about joining a year ago.... I wasn't really active on the forum for like at least 4 months. But yeah, it has seemed to have gotten worse. I don't see a reason for it. The advanced clause issue caused some controversy with the RP mods but I don't see why the others have garnered less respect. Guess it comes back to stereotyping.

And it is a shame that the mods can never satisfy people; but that's just like real life. The major difference is that in real life about 50% of the people are happy with each decision. Whereas here, maybe only 20% are happy with mods. -_-
