Judging will now begin. I'll be informing people of any price/difficulty issues (outside of cases where replacemets were in brackets) as I go along. These issues will be dealt with through PM.

Entries may still be submitted, until the point where I'm done judging what's already been entered.

i always start off easy. give him a kuriboh' date=' 2 change of hearts, familiar knight, and also if you go to the walmart cards isle, there will be sum packages for 4 bucks that have dark paladin on them. they come with 10 cards and 2 strategi cards. hos is what i startecd off with when i was 6,

[/quote']

DERP DERP.

To original poster however,

what is the budget limit?

Can he understand the concept of Quillbolt/Plaguespreader OTK?

Erm... who can't? xD

Also, the budget is non-existant at the moment. We're just going for cheapest possible without killing the deck.

All currently posted entries, barring the last two (for being $30 or so over an acceptable range and being 2x said acceptable range respectfully) are accepted.

EDIT: The Monarch entry is now within an acceptable range. All that's left is Pizza.

Note how I completely ignored the Extra Decks that were provided when finding a price. Otherwise, I'd be telling everyone to essentially dismantle it. Yes, even the ones that were just 10 cards.

Not a single card in any of these decks are too complex.

I'll continue judging on the accepted entries.

I suggest Skill Drain. Monsters like Goblin Attack Force' date=' Indomitable Fighter, and Giant Orc have the same effects, so it'll easier to understand, and they're extremely easy to get these days. Skill Drain negates effects anyway, so just keep it 40-45 cards. If Barbaros and Barbaros Ur are just much of a hassle, substitute this type of cards with Dark Necrofear Skill Drain deck elements like Newdoria and Slate Warrior who use they're effects in the grave to destroy monsters or weaken them respectively.

Wow it's not like I just posted a decklist for that. But go ahead, act like it's your suggestion anyway.

I didn't see the decklist. My mistake. I suggested it because I run Skill Drain. Still a good idea though.

well' date=' the HOTU Exodia method is a little boring.

its not really innovative.

[/quote']

Yeah. I was just saying that I was shocked when nobody attempted it.

That's the simplest, cheapest deck you can get with a win condition, is it not?

with a couple of fixes.

Father Wolf made a really good one that incorporated HOTU...

Well, looks like I'm stuck between Genzo and jabber. >.>

Both cost roughly the same (odd, as I expected Genzo's to cost almost nothing), both seem just as effective, both tested well with my brother (blame the show for him knowing the Crystal Beasts), and he likes them both equally.

So, does anyone have any ideas on how to break the tie? >.>
