I'm done dueling for a long while. Until they stop obsessing over Synchros, nothing I enjoy playing will have a chance. And if I can't use what I tend to enjoy, I don't have fun. Oh well. Anyway, the deck failed. All the cards I needed were at the bottom, and I wasn't able to maintain a hand for long. I can't think of a way to speed it up, I'm already risking a lot by using Allure.

Okay, locking down Synchros. Djinn Releaser of Rituals can do it, but you have to protect the Ritual monster, and with all the things out there like Mirror Force, Bottomless, Torrential, it's not that hard to destroy the monster. Next, we have Discord, that locks down Synchro Summoning. Doesn't sound bad, right? Well, it blows itself up after three turns, compared to Non-Fusion Area, which never blows up, it's not going to last long, especially with the Spell and Trap removal these days. Last card I'm going to use, Royal Oppression, locks down Special Summoning at the cost of 800 LP. Not bad, except your opponent can use it as well, and when they get tired of it, that Heavy Storm every deck runs as a Staple comes into play. Bye bye trap, hello Synchro. There isn't a consistent method to do it compared to Fusions and Rituals, and most of them are quite easy to get out, and overpowered.

Anyway, if anyone wasn't so lock down a synchro deck, just make a fairy deck based around that one ritual monster that can negate the effects of monsters and destroy them. Actually....that could work against any deck! O.O I would know, I got badly beaten by it just last night. e_e

Bu...but my deck doesn't have Synchros.

 

Just your usual torture deck.

 

Hopefully it'll do good, as I never made a deck like that before.

 

Anyone want to test duel against Scar?
