I actually found Xaru's routine somewhat amusing until it got to the point that it was pervading every last thing and getting very old and overbearing.

 

 

As for the Sama thing, I assume you already understand Japanese honorifics, so I won't go into detail explaining it. However, I will say that asking to be called Sama, when you're a newcomer does look rather arrogant. Just be a great member etc etc and you should naturally earn our respect. You want people calling you that to be a natural occurrence, not some imposed thing. I'm sure you'd get much more satisfaction knowing people truly mean it.

I'm debating on wether or not to make a country. Sure, it is supposed to be a fun, free game, but I know nothing of politics, except for Capitalism, Communism (Which I may have forgotten) about 4 or more different kinds of government, and perhaps a couple of moral things that I could fit in this game.

 

Yet, it seems like I may not have to know anything about it, and I could actually LEARN something about it by doing this.

 

I hate to bother you with my indecisiveness, but I can't decide.

I've actually played something similar before, back in the dark ages when I actually used Myspace, there was an app for this.

Anyway, it seems all too limited to me to produce anything overly interesting, and all the topics are something along the lines of "here is a horrific decision, where all choices will cause severe national harm in one way or another". Not exactly enjoyable.

The one thing that I find disgruntling about NationStates is my sudden lack of thermonuclear weaponry. D: My country really needs a transportation system.

 

Also, on the whole competition topic stated by Awesome-kun, heh. Kind of reminds me of this one time me, Baba-kun and Plasma Whore were playing Hothothot!. I managed to run through the first overall spikes but Plasma Whore started to get trigger happy and started blasting me with plasma, which really smarted. Then Baba-kun lit Plasma Whore on fire and stabbed him in the head with one of the heated spikes. He got seven points, five for a No Fair, and two more because it was Plasma Whore.
