DL
I liked Days, and I liked CoM. I prefered the fighting style in Days a lot more
Zexaeon
You should still play Days, Creator, just for the sake of it. Also, I side with Lar and Nex. Xion wasn't unlikable, but her existence just ended up seeming totally unnecessary. Plus, come on. Namine is clearly better. Also, CoM had a more enjoyable story for me. Even better in ReCoM, where a few changes were made.
Blake
Well, I liked Xion because of her changing apearance thing/her sad story. I forgot the actual conditions, but she appeared as someone from your past. Ventus, NAmine, etc.
Davok
Well, I've finally decided what my favourite game is.
The Warden
What I want to know is how Roxas summoned Oathkeeper and Oblivion when he was created before Sora even got them.
Nexev
No Marv, your a loser. CoM had a unique fighting style, introduced te ORganization XIII, AND had Zex. Days is a fanfic. I read an article on mary sue fics and it fits. She pops out of nowhere, dies tragically (as all good Sues must) is apperantly the reason for several events, has the interest of the main characters, has unique powers, her desicion is the right one, and is kinda wedged in thier on a blank period on KH's timeline. It's a fanfic and if it was written out KH wouldn't be a bit worse. CoM wasn't a fanfic and was important, it introduced the villians that made the game since the World plots were rehashes of the Movies. Dx Plus unique fighting system, some of the better characters of XIII, and of course let you play multiple characters for the first time.
Infinitus
I will admit that the CoM fighting style was unique, but I didn't like it. I just couldn't get the hang of it, and the last Repliku (or whatever people call the fake Riku) battle was a pain, and one that I never beat because I got bored. Not only that, I hated that I needed certain cards to get through doors other than key cards, because sometimes I would have to go through more than have a dozen battles to get the card I needed. However, the plot was awesome, especially because they introduced characters that set the stage for my favorite KH game out of all 4, which was KH2. The Warden
The CoM manga was hilarious as well, especially when Larxene fried herself, awesome. And also at the end when Repliku went all emo, only to learn of a legion of Vexen replicas.
Marisa Kirisame-ze
The CoM manga was hilarious as well' date=' especially when Larxene fried herself, awesome. Though, I felt like it was more productive than playing the game.
Phantom Roxas
Nex, "good Sues" is a contradiction. Sasuke's a Stu and Bella's a Sue, and how much have they cheated death? Being a "good Sue" means you aren't a Sue at all. CoM introduced the villains. Days expanded on the group, showed Roxas' past, and justified Axel's Badass Decay. It had multiplayer too. Nexev
Good sues are well written ones. Like Negi in MAhou Sensei Negima. You notice they are sues but you can still forgive them in some way. However in the context I was using was talking about MAry sue fics done cleverly. "Mary Sue must die for many reasons. The narrator of "The Confessions of Mary Sue" wryly points out how unfair it is that she always dies just as she and the media character are about to make their relationship permanent; her therapist is concerned about these fantasies. The death does serve the same practical purpose that the death of the media character's lover does on the television show: it clears the decks for next week. But the death also serves other purposes. There is the angst value. Readers love to weep; returning a copy of Katherine Paterson's The Bridge to Terabithia (which itself includes the death of a wonderful young girl), a young reader recently remarked to a librarian, "That was the saddest book I ever read," then asked, as the wary librarian steeled herself for a complaint, "Do you have any more just like it?" The noble death has always caught the imagination, especially if the deceased is young; Mary Sue is a Joan of Arc without the persecution. The death keeps Mary Sue memorable to those who really interest the author, fixing her in their minds as in amber, at the peak of her loveliness and strength and nobility and virtue." Case in point, directly copied of an essay I read about Mary Sue. Therefore a good one dies as they utilize a admittidly clever strategy, bad ones are the perfect protagonists who have everything go there way till the end. They are worse. Zexaeon
@Broken: Larxene's manga death was a disgrace. It was not funny. Also, Roxas used the O&O Combo well after Sora had obtained them. The time of his creation matters not.
Larxene
Seriously, that part of the manga pissed me off. The rest of it was at least semi amusing, although Vexen was pretty out of character. Also 17,000 posts yeah~!

Blake
It was not a fanfic, because as Roxas said it covered the story between. It was a Glimpse into te past, and explained how Roxas ended up in the Virtual World, fought Riku, etc. before KH2, the best one.
DL
Yes, which proves I didn't write it. I didn't even know Roxas fought Riku. Nor did I know how... mean... Larxene was to the other Org. members. (mostly Roxas) O.o
Nexev
It was not a fanfic' date=' because as Roxas said it covered the story between. It was a Glimpse into te past, and explained how Roxas ended up in the Virtual World, fought Riku, etc. before KH2, the best one.[/quote'] ... It runs as a generic fanfic, the only argument against it is the fact it is canon. But honestly, the thing screams Fanfic, Xion acts so much like my Sue essay says it's not funny. Days was a waste of time, the fans had a better idea for backstory. Honestly, look: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3391314/1/The_Mouse_Who_Would_Be_King BETTER THAN DAYS. Completly unrelated to Days since it's Mickey's prologue but still. Days SHOULD have been a fanfic, it'd have made much more sense. And gotten incredibly bad reviews as one. DL
But, aside from the MarySuish heroine, Days DID have its good points.

Blake
Seems to me you are being like those fanboys of FF7 you always complain about. The ones who whine about how much the newer games suck?
DL
I do admit, Days had it's downsides, but it's upsides made up for it, for the most part.
iCherry
Days has only a few goodpoints. Gameplay and going into depth about some of the members. Like Axel and Saix. Other than that, the story was yuck to me. Especially how almost every single day was: "OMFG. AXEL AND XION DIDN'T COME TO GET ICE CREAM TODAY. I'M GONNA CRY.
