no one remenbers she existed. If there was ONE exception it'd be different, I mean, I like Repliku and he was a machine, but Xion just seemed bland. Also everything she did there were infinite other ways Nomura could have done that were better. It's like Sentry from Marvel but it's dumb cause it was supposed to be taken seriously. There were plenty of characters I'd like to see more of in Organization XIII, but nooooo..... they went with making a a new character who's existence is pretty much overwritten at the end game. I prefered PETE to her.

 

The only reason she existed seems to be to diprove every fan theory about Roxas's time in the organiation.

 

Because noone would ever think of "Give me a second. What if Sora had a clone, and this clone was a chick. This chick becomes Roxas's friend and they become close, then she rebels, is captured, gets brained washed, then attacks Roxas but is defeated, fuses with roxas, doing nothing but letting him use two keyblades, and then al memory of her is erased?"

 

That sounds stupid.

Well I liked it.

 

I thought the whole memory thing was both a clever way to explain why Xion is never mentioned in Kingdom Hearts 2, as well as the main reason Xion is the saddest character.

It's a clever way to explain why she didn't exist, but she shouldn't have existed anyway.

 

She is like a Mary Sue.

 

I mean, she pops out of nowhere, gets the attention of the main character who is super devoted to her to the point of abandoning his best friend when he won't give out answers about her, not even the slightest hint of her existence until Nomura decided to add her.

I didn't say it was the best, just better than CoM. I liked seeing the story in between games, and it was very emotional. Xion was so sad, though a bit bland.
