Setting all that aside...

@Rox: If you wanna have a team based on prominence in the story, I'd imagine it would be Lightning - Snow - Vanille.

Anyway. Lightning - Fang - Hope is my main team (with the leader switching between Lightning and Hope), but I also swap in Vanille occasionally, and Sazh when I need more magic.

Hmm...

Seems a lot different from the Sephiroth in KH 1, which is almost impossible to beat, and on KH 2, which is incredibly hard to beat.

On a side note, I finally finished watching Advent Children.

The final battle was awesomez.
---FFXIII GAME LOCATION SPOILERS AHEAD---] So if you don't want to hear about Cei'th Stone missions or locations you'll be headed to later in the game, don't read below the line.

------------------------------------------------------------

Well I'm pretty sure you guys arn't there yet, but eventually your gonna need the growth egg for some easy grinding so that you can get the rest of your achievements. The Growth Egg basically gives you CPx2 every battle for all characters as long as it's equipped to one of them.

You get it for defeating Neochu in Cie'th Stone Mission 55. It's located in Oerba in the abandoned schoolhouse (building in the back right past the giant tree) on the second floor by the rocking chair. I used the cheap strategy to beat it, basically make Vanille knows 'Death' and has a Belladonna Wand Tier 2 or Tier 3 (I had 2).

Party

Vanille

Lightning

Hope

Vanille should have some Sprint Shoes on.

Para~ (if your on the weaker end)

Saboteur , Setinel, Medic

Saboteur, Medic, Medic

Medic, Commando, Medic

Medic, Setinel, Medic

Don't bother with invis shroud on this guy, he can't be jumped.

Spam Death on Neochu until it's auto-KO'd (important for this to work quickly so restart the battle if needed). Then switch to Tireless Charge (MCM) and do your best to keep the party alive while Lightning kills off the seedlings.

After this you'll get the Growth Egg which gives CPx2. Okay now basically just go grind on the Northern plane. People I've seen have bragged about the Behemoth battle outside the cave that would give 13k each time, but I prefer my method.

Inside the cave in the northern plane, near the second save point in, there is a side-road that leads to a Juggernaught. I run back and forth from end to end on this road while listening to music and tearing them apart for easy CP, and I don't even have to pay attention to what's going on.

1st 4k

2nd 10k

3rd 4k

4th 4k

5th 8k

6th 10k

7th 4k

Team~ Lightning - Hope - Vanille

Each battle was about 8-10 seconds for me at the time without jumping the enemy~ so given the max limit that's about a minute and ten seconds averaging around 34k. Yeah, the behemoth method is alot faster, but my method also gets you alot of items as long as you have a catalog equipped (forgot which one). So I would get around 20k gil along with the CP (this is after I grind to 999,999 CP which actually doesn't take that long when your not paying attention).

After I got strong enough to face the Adamantoise I went to the old forgotten road and completed the Titan's Trials to get the Genji Glove (damage limit breaker~ 99,999 to 999,999) which makes Fang's Highwind completely overpowered.

Strategy~

My Team ATT (at the time-the equipment was set up for a well balanced team all-round, not for specific battles)

Imperial Armlet-Mag/Phy Resistance +20%

Vanille

Weapon: Belladonna Wand Tier 2

Acc:

Sprint Shoes-Auto Haste

Collector's Catalog-Increase odds of obtaining items after battle

Growth Egg-CPx2

Ribbon-Status Ailment Resistance +20%

Para~

Relentless Assault- Commando, Ravager, Ravager

Hero's Charge- Commando, Synergist, Medic

Mystic Tower- Setinel, Ravager, Ravager

Bully- Commando, Synergist, Saboteur (Active)

Scouting Party- Commando, Medic, Saboteur

Discretion- Commando, Medic, Medic

Strategy

HAVE ATTACK AND DEFENSE SHROUDS ON~You'll make the gil back easily trust me, the common drop for these big bastards are Platinum Ingots, sell for 150k each. Rare drop is a Trapzohezon or however you spell it, doesn't sell for much, but it's used to make your legendary weapons and would otherwise cost 2mil.

Ok when you start off, just aim for one leg. Pummeling with Fang while Hope gives your party a few buffs that the shrouds didn't, Vanille is debuffing the leg with DeShell, DeProtect, and Imperil. The only important one is Imperil, so once that has gone through, heal if needed and switch to relentless assault. Wait for the break BUT HOLD UP, wait for the stagger to increase 100-200 more percent, then hit the leg with Highwind. This will take the leg out completely, if you havn't broken the damage limit and gotten the achievement yet, you just did. Repeat for the second leg. Once the second leg is taken out, immidiately switch to scouting party.

Hope will work on healing up any damage you've taken while Vanille deshell's, deprotects, and imperil's the Adamantoise. Immidiately switch to relentless assault when imperil successfully takes effect, pummel him until he begins to stand, once that happens hit him with Highwind for 300-999k damage (depends on your char developement/equipment).

Rinse and repeat until it's dead. Not only are you getting a 150k every 1-2 battles, you're also getting 80kCP each battle as well. I dunno about anyone else but this is what I did to max my characters and get their ultimate weapons/level them.

I can't remember how long each battle took for me but it wasn't long.

Yeah noone asked for this but I figured I'd post it to hopefully help you out when you get to this point.

Thing is if we told you not to Object to something, then turn around and object to that very thing later. You would get pissed, because we told you not to and we did it anyway.

and it's impossible to laugh more than us, we have many voices.
