I agree with what BB said because I'm too lazy to form my own opinion in this pointless argument.

Oh, and also in my opinion, FPS is the most overrated genre of video games ever.

If you disagree....

Well, you don't wanna find out what happens then.

EDIT: Kouta, pretending to edit someone's post like you just did doesn't make you funny or right. It just makes you a dick.

Well that explains why EVERYONE in this club does it. >.>

Sad world....

Anyway First Person Shooters are fun but overrated.

They at least have a skill to them, unlike some games which start relying on repetition.

Anyway I am the Jack of all trades as usual, I have no real preferences besides appreciating story over actual game play.

The point was for her to see I edited the post, and plenty of people in this club, even this forum have done it.

FPS is quite overrated, but there are still good FPS games that are fun and some with great rpg elements. There's even one with great storyline.

Actually, on a side note, I'm going to say FPS is largely overrated. However the most overrated is RPG. There are great RPGs and bad ones. And people assume, 'Oh it's an rpg, it'll be fun and strategical and yay!', when the game in all reality can easily be crap. It's not hard to ness up an RPG.

I don't know anyone who has ever said that every RPG will be good no matter what. And RPGs are more popular in Japan than they are in other countries, and they don't think like that either.

Most people in America though will just play anything that lets you shoot things. Just because they wanna use a funking gun. To them, that automatically makes it a good game. It doesn't.

@Xaru: I liked Age of Empires II as well. III was disappointing.

@Lar: I don't need to buy games just for guns, because I actually have real guns XD

@Zex: Which FPS's have you played?

Also, I went to see How to Train Your Dragon earlier. We got there early, so I went to play in the arcade. There was DDR......and it was the only broken machine. *sadface*

But I played Time Crisis with both guns and reloaded like Xigbar does XDDD

I did that with this adventure game at chuckie cheeses.

It was a FPS arcade (which are better than most FPS) and it had single player, two player, and single player with two guns.

FPS are good at multiplayer but not much else.

Besides the arcade ones.

Favorite FPS has to be republic commandos.

No multiplayer to my knowledge but very good squad AI, they can revive themselvs, have all the abbilities you do but with specific prefrences, and with a point and click you can assign them to perform specific tasks or go into a specific formation.

You can point at cover to tell a guy to snipe, another cover on a slope to tell them to toss grenades into the battlefield, tell one guy to get revive another.

And they can revive you.

You can only assign them certain tasks in certain areas though, if thier is no cover you can't tell a guy to snipe and such but in the end all the squad can do what you do and are capable of fighting for themselves except in terrible odds.

Good.

And if you don't like it' date=' that's fine too. Just watch it anyway D:

Shana > Taiga > Louise > Nagi

That should be the order of how you watch Kugimiya-san's "Four Tsundere Wonders". ;D

But you watched Hayate The Combat Butler First, I'm sure T~T

[/quote']

I watched until episode 6 of Hayate. Planning on watching more, someday.

Also... Fire Emblem is amazing. Easy to make fun of for it's unrealisticness, but my favorite strategy game.

I don't actually hate the FPS Genre, truthfully, but I just have a huge dislike over it because of it's horribly overrated and basically all the same :/

Although.... the 2nd one didn't live up to the first one...

I still liked most of them.

But the characters IN them' date=' on the other hand... >.>

Well, let's just say Eirika wasn't one of my fav. all-time characters.

Sacred Stones was dissapoint in so many ways. Characters in it were my favorite from all the games, easily though. D:

And like I said last time we had this topic, SS would've been much better if Selena was a recruitable character.

Oh yes, we did have this tyopic before, huh?

Although I don't recall you saying that, it's true. I wish selena could have been recruited.

And, like I said before, Joshua was my all-time favorite. As a swordmaster, he was PWN.
