Guest Morpheous Erebos
Or better yet, anyone like him? His powers come from a suit... Is anyone considered a "Super" anything if their powers come from something they wear and not them?
Guest JoshIcy
Does that make Batman a faux-superhero? No...So yes he is.
~ P O L A R I S ~
Ironman's powers did come from him. He made the suit. Batman's actually much less legit, since he just got God to make his.
Guest Morpheous Erebos
By "from him" I mean that he does not require what he is wearing to have his powers.

Guest Morpheous Erebos
Nope. That's why I don't count Green Goblin a super villain, because he needs to drink that serum all that often. But I don't count Superman one either, since where he's from, he isn't super. Neither is Aquaman
~ P O L A R I S ~
Considering nobody a superhero sorta defeats the purpose of the term existing in the first place.

♥ ЅϯᵲåώӀӞ℮ᴙʀɣ−ɴɨɨ−ƈħåɴ ♥
You're forgetting that Tony Stark is a genius. If he wasn't, he wouldn't have been able to design the suit and Jarvis in the first place. Batman is different. He's not as protected as Ironman is. Besides, he can't fly. ~ P O L A R I S ~
Spiderman and all superheroes that were born on Earth are all super' date=' so I don't consider them all non-super...[/quote'] Spiderman only got his powers from being bitten by some crazy-ass spider. His powers don't come from him, but the spider.
Guest Morpheous Erebos
But he does not require the spider to bite him every time. The powers come from him now, transfered by the spider.
GraveHorizon
I think you're referring to whether he actually has any "powers" at all. Iron Man has no powers, but I think he is still a superhero. Wait a second, Tony Stark eventually gains the ability to store the under part of his suit in his bones, and can telepathically control the external part of the armor. ~/Coolio Prime\~
Where a super-hero gets his powers from is irrelevant, it's the fact that he has extraordinary powers, through whatever means, that matters.

GraveHorizon
Iron Man ≥ Batman EDIT:Where a super-hero gets his powers from is irrelevant' date=' it's the fact that he has extraordinary powers, through whatever means, that matters.[/quote'] I don't like how in DC most of the superheroes are usually just aliens or magical or part robots. Lame. I'd rather be normal then get powers, not have them all along, because I would enjoy/appreciate them more.

Prada
Batman is probably DC's only good superhero. Agreed. True that. Iron Man wouldn't be able to do sheet without his suit. Batman still has extreme reflexes and a pain threshold better than that of normal humans. Batman can take on a group of people without his suit in hand-to-hand combat. Iron Man just uses his suit to shoot sheet. Batman is more of a superhero than Iron Man in my opinion. Yes, War Machine could probably kick Iron Mans ass any day of the week. ~/Coolio Prime\~
Iron Man's secondary talents destroys Batman. He may get a lot of attention, but Batman is rather weak in comparison to many A-Rank Superheroes.
