These youngsters each have their own unique powers and weapons, in which they plan to use in their master plot; They intend to shatter the most successful gathering of heroes ever in history; The Union of Justice, and - once the Union is shattered and defenseless - to consume the Earth into an everlasting darkness, warping it to a part of their home base; The Negative Dimension. Too many times has it struck this young man, as he sat there in front of his Windows Vista Laptop. He was bored out of his mind, and sorta sappy about his situation. He was doing bad in school, his classmates always teased him by calling him "girl" or "lady" just because of the fact he had hair down to his shoulders, colored in a mixture of blond & brown. A sigh passed his lips as he opened his Account on YCM, scrolling through the Fan Fic and RP Sections rather quickly. "Nothing..." he said for himself. This young man's name was Fredrik Lindell. He was all alone, except for his MSN buds. He had a few, most of them were buds from YCM. But somehow, one of them was the "ass" of the group, always joking with him about things he didn't see as jokes. Fredrik thought he was just what he said he was; an ass. But then again, that was his decision. Fred' had more positive pals anyways, like Hatake Kakashi, AKA Kevin. Fredrik sighed again, and looked into his computer screen, just zoning out. Suddenly, as he looked closer, he saw that the screen was digitalizing, and surrounding him as well. "W-What the hell?" he exclaimed, and tried to struggle free from the energy holding him, but in vain. Then, he felt himself dissolve. It's true. He dissolved into small particles, and was sucked into the computer. As the chaos was over, all that was left was a young man's Laptop...in an empty room. ~~~~~~~~~~ "Oi, think he will wake up?" "Most plausible, though I believe the shock will rather knock him out again." "Nah, c'mon now! He will wake up!" Fredrik was hearing voices all around him, and he opened his eyes, and saw that he was in a laying position. Above him, he saw three persons look at him; One was dressed in a white jacket with black trims all over it, black jeans and grey sneakers. His hair was white, and his eyes red. His arms were covered in bandages, and weren't visible. Another had brown jeans with dragon scales painted at the feet, and had black shoes. His T-shirt/vest was white, and he had brown hair, an enigmatic smile hanging on his lips. The third was dressed in a red T-shirt, jeans, and a Camo fleece. His black, curly hair hanged over his acne-spotted face, and he was incredibly tall, it seemed, as Fredrik laid down and all, but he was also skinny. Slowly, and with some effort, he got up, feeling some irritation in his arm. As he got up, he got a backslap by the white-haired one. "Great to see you're up, Sappy-face!" he grinned. Fredrik turned to him, remembering his behaviour slightly. "What's up, idiot? Why you staring?" "F-Fenrir?" Fredrik gasped. The white-haired boy smirked. "Heh, you're not as idiotic as you look." he grinned. "WHAT THE HELL?!?!" Fredrik was instantly insulted, and charged at the boy. He just side-stepped, and tripped him. "Sheesh, you're really an idiot..." he sighed. "My real name's Quint, btw." "Q-Quint?" Fredrik said, getting up and brushing off his clothes. He suddenly saw they had changed. He was now dressed in a black armor with gold lines forming small "platforms" of the black armor, and he had nothing but a red scarf, a red bandana, and black jeans on him, accompanied with a pair of black navy-boots. His hair was spiky and black as well, hanging slightly over his green eyes. "W-What the hell?" "Ok, Fred, here's the deal; We're in GOD knows where, and all you care about is your clothes? Am I correct?" Quint stated. Fredrik looked annoyed at this. "Hmph. At least I'm not Cpt. Insult." he snarled. "Please, Fred. That was just jokes." Quint sighed. The brown-haired one was now standing beside Fredrik, smiling. "Hey, Fred. Guess who I am?" he smiled. Fredrik looked a bit at him, then smiled. "Kevin, huh?" he smirked. "Yep. Nice to see ya like this, pal." Kevin said cheerfully. "Damn, those fucktards are slow-minded..." Quint muttered. The black-haired heard this. "They are not slow-minded, they are just choosing to act like this because in that way, they identify themselves as friend." he stated. "Shut up, Brainiac..." Quint snarled. "I don't need your expertise in Idiothology 101." Nexev seemed to be somewhat disturbed by Quint's arrogance, but shrugged and went up to Fredrik and Kevin. "Now, I think you know who I am?" he implied, and Fredrik nodded. "Nice to see you in person, Nexev." he said. Nexev smirked slighty, nodding to show Fredrik his respect. "Ah, I see we're all here..." a voice boomed, and all turned to the source of the voice. A person, shrouded in darkness, stood in front of them. Everyone were sorta shocked, but Quint looked just normal. "Who are you then?" Nexev asked. "Me?" the figure chuckled in a way that made Fredrik's blood freeze to ice, but Quint just shuddered slightly. "I am nothing...but pure darkness. I am a kid that could have been saved...but I was forced into the agony and loneliness of a paper box...all alone...all pain...and now, I want to unleash the same pain on all those that didn't save me. But there is an obstacle in my plans, and that is a union called The Union of Justice; A group of pestering little runts and a Kitsune of some sort that fights for what they call 'Good'. But I ask you, what is there for 'good' in this world? Was it the 'good' that put me in that box? Was it the 'good' that ignored me and totally shunned me from reality, making my mind a twisted place for the dead and unborn? No. If that is the good, then I say, we will eliminate what's good..." somehow, the melancholy of the voice and the shaded shape of a heart tipped Fredrik off on who it was, and he took a deep breath before asking; "B-Broken?" Everyone looked at Fredrik, then back at the shaded figure. He merely chuckled. "Yes, Kuja...I am Broken. How clever of you to find it out. Didn't I tell you that you have to search for answers yourself? Well, now you did just that, and I am proud. However...we still need some soldiers for our ranks...so I will give you the opportunity to recruit whatever you want from these..." he snapped his fingers, and two portals opened. Quint and Fredrik smirked. They both knew which creatures they would bring out; "Nnoitra! Zommari! Edorad! Avirama! Gantenbainne! Cirucci! Findor!" shouted Fredrik, and seven strangely attired and dressed human-looking creatures appeared from his portal. "Heh, n00b." Quint smirked. "Grimmjow! Lilynette! Yylford! Coyote! Ggio! Panini! Ulquiorra!" he shouted, and seven others appeared. One of them, having a weird moustache and a gentleman-ish look, had a vein almost popping in his forehead. "IT'S DORDONII! DO I LOOK LIKE A DELICIOUS SANDWICH TO YOU?!" he shouted out to Quint. Everyone, even the twelve other that had appeared, looked extremely embarrassed, and there was some minutes of silence before Quint walked up to Dordonii, and looked at him with a cold stare. "I call you whatever the f*ck I want...so stfu." he growled with a low-pitched voice, and Dordonii instantly stood up in salute, looking scared to death. "Hmph...pathetic..." Quint turned so he stood as a leader for his group. Fredrik walked up to Nnoitra, Zommari, Edorad, Avirama, Gantenbainne, Findor, and Cirucci, taking the same position. "Now..." Broken said, taking a step forward. "It is time for us to pay a...little 'visit' to our adversaries. We must know all we need for our encounter with them." Quint seemed annoyed. "Why can't we just go over there and bash 'em up?" he snarled. Nexev shook his head. "Always the impulsive one..." he sighed. "Do you know how much planning it will take to accomplish such feats? You need pin-point planning and strategy to accomplish it. The Union is not as weak as we may think. Oh, and another thing, are you two completely without creativity? All you have done is summoned a bunch of Bleach characters - Arrancars, if nothing else - to your aid. You could have summoned more powerful beings, in my opinion." Quint shrugged a bit, as if he had been asleep. "Too long, didn't listen." he said, yawning and stretching his back. Nexev frowned. "Don't come and complain at me when you fall, that's all I say." he warned Quint. As he spoke, Broken turned to Kevin and Fredrik with his recruits. He walked over to them, remaining shrouded by his darkness. "Kuja...what do you wish most?" he asked. Fredrik turned his head to face Broken. "Hmm? What?" Fredrik asked. "I asked what you want, more than anything in the world." Broken replied. "I can give it to you." Fredrik sighed, and looked down. "Well...all that I have wanted...is to be respected for who I am." he said. Kevin patted his shoulder. "Hey, Fred, cheer up. We're your pals." he smiled. Fredrik just shrugged, chuckling. "Heh, I guess you are. But still...if I ever get out of here...I want to be respected for who I am, how I act...and a girlfriend..." he said. Broken nodded. "If you join me and Nexev...I shall give it to you. My powers are great, you see, and I can give you anything you desire..." he chanted. Fredrik raised an eyebrow, then sighed. He wanted anything for being respected, and not bullied all the time, so this sounded as a deal. "Ok, it's a deal." he said. Broken chuckled again. "Good..." he said. "Now...we will prepare for out conquest..." To be continued...

Chapter 1 - Can I Order A Romantic Day With A Panini, Plz? As the sun raised over the fields of Berlin, the plants and grass that had been asleep in the cold night slowly awoke again, rising to the sunlight and waving in the breezes that gently flowed over the field. The rays of light then caught glance of a seemingly normal house, slowly rising along the walls of it as it made their way to a window. This window lead to their room. Ever since that night yesterday, Benjamin Tennyson and Rika Nonaka had their feelings confirmed; They were in love. And they felt like nothing could ever stop their feelings. The sunlight slowly lit over them, and Ben was annoyed by the light in his eyes, and he yawned and woke up, rubbing his eyes. He saw Rika sleeping still, smiling as he planted a kiss on her soft cheek. "Morning, my love..." he said softly. Rika just moaned in her sleep, being annoyed by the kiss and the words as they disturbed her sleep, and rolled over on her other side, her back facing Ben. He just chuckled slightly, and stroked her shoulder. He knew she would wake up sooner or later. She just needed her sweet time sometimes. As his eyes looked over her back, he could not help but to admire her body. She was not too slim, nor too flabby. She was absolutely perfect, he thought, and her hair was so beautiful and warm that it sent waves of comfort into Ben's body each time he stroked it. Finally, he just smiled at Rika, and took the blanket over her, tucking her in as well, before standing up and putting on his T-shirt, jacket, jeans & sneakers. He also took his I-Phone with him, and while putting on his headphones, he listened to "Aerosmith - Dream On". As he walked out of the bedroom, he looked downstairs, seeing the dinner table being filled with delightful toasts and other things. Licking his lips, he went down the stairs and up to the table, where Harry and Ron were. "Yo!" he said simply as he sat down. "Mornin' Ben! We were talking about you!" Harry said, smiling cheerfully. Ben raised an eyebrow. "About...what exactly?" he inquired, scraping some butter on a toast before eating it. "W-Well...how you and Rika are so well together!" Harry said shortly after. Ben smiled a bit, but frowned as well. "Guys..." he said, and Harry and Ron were listening, "I want to tell you something..." "Then do it." Ron said. "We won't tell a bloody soul!" "Good..." Ben said, and took a deep breath. "What I have been feeling lately...is that something terrible will happen. I don't know what, but it is something, that much I know. I don't think I will be alive after that, but I want you to tell Rika...that I love her. Truly, I do. Deep inside my heart, she is the most perfect person I have met in my life. Her body, her hair, everything. Even her personality rocks. I mean, she's so cheerful now, and nothing seems to bring her down. I want her to stay that way...so therefore, I want you to tell her...that no matter what happens...I will love her...even in death, if that is needed." without him knowing, Rika had walked down the stairs, and she heard everything. She was deeply touched that Ben cared so much about her, and she had never heard Lee say that, to be honest. She was in a state of half-shock, and continued down the stairs. "Ben..." she said aloud, and Ben saw her. He blushed wildly, and tried to hide his face, but failed as Rika had her hands on his cheeks. "I-I never knew how much you cared for me...you truly love me so much?" she asked. Ben nodded, and held Rika's hands. "Rika, I care about you more than you think." he said. "You're the first one that I have ever loved. I mean...you are so cheerful! And gorgeous too!" Rika blushed at this. "Rika...you and I are meant to be together...I know it..." at this, Rika and Ben once again kissed each other's lips. Ron just looked away, but Harry felt happy that Rika and Ben were together like this. He quickly resumed eating, however, as they stopped kissing. "Oh, Ben..." Rika smiled. "I will be here for you...always..." Ben promised, and kissed Rika's cheek. She giggled slightly, and walked off with Ben holding her hand. ~~~~~~~~~~ Unknown to them, two figures were observing them. These two were Fredrik and Nnoitra Jiruga - also known as the 5th Espada from Bleach - as they were in hiding, obseving them. "Hmph! Those two, and four more? Not a big deal!" Nnoitra smirked. Fredrik shushed the Espada, observing Ben and Rika. "Those two..." he muttered, "I recognize them. I have thought...or dreamt...about them sometimes...when I am in front of my computer. But...who are they? They seem so familiar...yet so unknown..." "C'mon boss, snap out of it!" Nnoitra complained. "This is where WE make a move before that Quint! Didn't ya want to outshine him at some point? Didn't ya wanna be better than him? To have more power than him?" "......" Fredrik was silent. Sure, he wanted to be better than Quint - that damn arrogant bastard - to prove to him that he wasn't a sappy, idiotic moron. He knew he was so much more than Quint had told him he was, but then again, power could lead to make him what Quint now was. "...No." "What?!" Nnoitra exclaimed. "You don't want power?!" "No." Fredrik simply stated. "I am perfect the way I am, and that's that. I don't want to become what Quint is because I have power. I fear it will be so if I become powerful." he sighed after this, and stood up. He heard a snigger behind him. "I know you heard that, Quint..." in a flash, Quint and Dordonii appeared. "Heh, and you had one of your speeches as usual, so I just couldn't help but to listen to your pathetic prayers then SHOOT YOU DOWN, B!TCH!" Quint laughed out loud, and grinned at Fredrik. "You're one, pathetic loser. Deal with it, loser..." Fredrik sighed, and looked down on his feet. However, Dordonii and Nnoitra were too focused on each other. "So I see that the Great Quint didn't choose you, Nnoitra?" Dordonii boasted. "That is a pity, really." "Hmph! Perhaps he is not as 'great' as you think. He may just use you as a meat shield, Dordonii." Nnoitra grinned, his teeth forming a most devilish and sadistic smile. Dordonii shrugged, and posed to show his elegance. "Some can't just deal with the fact that I am so awesome..." he muttered for himself, but then, a bash in the head made him fall down, and Quint was in the picture again. "Great, fuckin' great..." he sighed. "Here I am, and you're stealing screen time from me...GET UP, PANINI!" he roared, and Dordonii was up in a flash. "Y-Yes Master!" he stammered. Quint grinned. He loved how people feared him, and mostly, respected him through this fear. His grin reduced, and he was off, Dordonii following him. Fredrik nodded to Nnoitra, and they were off as well. ~~~~~~~~~~ As Ben and Rika stopped to take a break, they happened to stop in front of the nearby lake that they found once while scouting. Both of them were smiling, and Ben sat down, just looking at the water making a crystalized mirror image of the rising sun above them. Rika giggled, and sat down beside Ben, holding his hand. Be blushed at this, and looked into Rika's pristine blue eyes, as she looked back into his emerald green eyes. "Remember how we first found this place?" asked Rika. Ben nodded with an enigmatic smile, patting Rika's head, which made her giggle again. "Yeah, I do..." Ben said, sitting down. We first found this place when we were scouting the area for any possible leftovers of Garga that needed to be destroyed. It was so beautiful when we found it, and it still is. Not a single piece of Garga's taint is here, and has never been here. It is so beautiful." he smiled as he looked back at Rika, who suddenly was twiddling her thumbs. "Rika, what's wrong?" he asked, placing a hand on her shoulder. "O-Oh, nothing..." she said, but a sigh slipped past her lips. "Ben...I am worried. I mean, if we managed to beat Garga, what does it mean? There will always be a greater foe somewhere, hiding and waiting for us to be weak. It will strike sometime...I know it...and I don't think I am strong enouth t-!" she was interrupted as Ben planted a kiss on her lips, and she kissed him back with passion, wrapping her arms around his head and neck as he kissed her. "Ben...why did you do that?" asked Rika. "Because I felt for it." Ben smiled, chuckling. "And because you needed some pepping! Rika, I know that there are alot of strong guys out there that aren't exactly "good", but we will win, no matter what! Heh, I got this, remember?" he showed Rika his Omnitrix. "As long as I got XLR8, Fourarms, Big Chill, Echo Echo, Ripjaws or anyone else, I will protect you. I won't give up. Not until each of my aliens and every ounce of my breath are lost and spent. Rika...you're everything for me! I would give my life for you! But I know I wouldn't die...because you will have me here..." he held Rika's chest, feeling her heart. Rika felt it too now, and smiled at Ben. "Thank you Ben..." she said, holding his hand. "Now I know...that we will never be separated..." "O rly now?" a voice blurted out. Rika and Ben got up in a fighting stance, seeing a young kid and a strangely attired man standing on the lake's surface. The kid grinned. "Man, man, what a waste of breath. I mean, come ON! Emotions and sappy speeches about love and uniting forever? Please, it makes me wanna PUKE!" "W-Who are you? And how can you say such awful things?" Rika demanded. The kid smirked, pulling his bandaged arms in front of him. "You better watch your tounge...b!tch..." he grinned. "I am Quint Philip Jaeger, but call me Catalyst. And this is my dreaded servant; Dordonii *cough*Panini*cough*..." he pretended to cough out "Panini", and succeeded, as Dordonii didn't hear this, apparently. "Now, Dordonii! Attack them!" Dordonii nodded, and leaped into the air, making a gracious flip in the air and landed behind Ben and Rika. But ironically, he slipped and fell on his face, making his "Grand Entrance" fail miserably. Quint facepalmed, and Ben & Rika just sighed. "Loser..." all three said. To be continued...

Chapter 2 - The Baron of Storms; Whirl, Giralda After Dordonii's "Grand Entrance", he fumbled up on his feet, and faced the two Union members. "That was on purpose!" he blurted out, pointing at Ben and Rika. "It was all a part of my Grand Entrance, ungrateful brats!" "Yeah, right..." Ben rolled his eyes, and stood in front of Rika. "Rika, I will take care of him, don't worry about me. I will be O.K, promise." Rika nodded and stood back, waiting for the fight to start. It didn't, however. Ben was waiting for Dordonii to make a move, but he was just standing as well. "Well...aren't you gonna do something, Mr "Grand Entrance"?" Ben smirked. "Hmph. I see you are underestimating me, Ninõ." Dordonii smirked, pulling up his fists. "But do not get overconfident. I am more that you see for now, so don't think you have the advantage. You are just a human, Ninõ. I am a Privadon Espada." Ben chuckled at this. "What is so funny, Ninõ?" "Hehe, sorry. It just seems that you're underestimating me at the moment. You see, I am not a regular kid..." with this, he pulled up his right hand, and on his wrist, he displayed the Omnitrix. Dordonii just shrugged, but Quint caught it with his glance. "Hmmmm...that little trinket...Dordonii may take water over his head if he battles this one...that device somehow emitts alot of energy, and it's just not from one being...but possibly over twenty of living beings...heh, like I care if Panini is f*cked...he's worthless..." he thought. As he thought this, Ben was twisting on the button on his Omnitrix, finding the right alien. He found one, and slammed down the button. A green light bursted out from it, and Dordonii, Rika, and Quint were temporarily stunned by the bright light. As the light faded, Ben had transformed to a four-armed alien with red-furred skin, four yellow and narrow eyes, and a white outfit with black trims. He was now Fourarms. "Now this is something special, Ninõ! I have never in my life as an Espada - nor a Privadon Espada - seen such a rapid transformation. You impressed me, Ninõ...but not enough to win my respect." he disappeared, using Sonido, and appeared next to Ben and kicked to his head. Ben simply pulled up one of his arms, blocking the kick, but it did send him a few feet away, dragging his feet in the dirt. He was strong, this Dordonii. Very strong. "Damn, hehe." Ben chuckled, his voice a bit altered after his transformation. "You're damn strong to send me draggin' in this form. Got to admit, Dordonii, you're something. But now...IT'S MY TURN!" with a roar, he charged at Dordonii, lunging two of his fists at him, and as he connected them with Dordonii's gut, a gagging noise was heard as Dordonii was hit by such force, and he flew back into a tree. The impact caused the tree to crack and fall down, but Dordonii got up on his feet again, seemingly unharmed. "You're tough." Ben admitted once again, smirking and cracking his knuckles. "Makes it more fun that way!" "You are overconfident, Ninõ." Dordonii stated, and charged at Ben, kicking his chest. A gag was heard from Ben before he was flung across the lake, and crashed into the mountain on the other side. Rika gasped and covered her mouth in fear of screaming, but hoped Ben was ok. Dordonii disappeared and reappeared over the rubble caused by the impact Ben had done. "Hmm? Over already, Ninõ? You disappoint me. You said you were strong, so why are you not showing me any strenght? You disgrace me, Nin-..." he was interrupted as a rock was thrown at him, and he had to dodge it. Another two were tossed at his face, but he easily dodged them by performing a flip into the air. As he looked down, he saw Ben holding a fourth rock. "What an impressive display. You are far more superior than I had imagined." he admired Ben. Ben just grunted. "Heh, ya know what? You're damn annoying, so shut your trap!" he shouted, and threw the last boulder at Dordonii with neck-breaking speed. Dordonii simply grinned at this, and rushed towards the boulder. Throwing a punch, he turned the boulder into pebble. Shrugging his foot a bit, he stood up and looked at Ben with a slightly triumphant grin. "How the?! He just smashed it like that." Ben was impressed, and slightly frightened by Dordonii's power. "Haha! Seems as you've underestimated me yet again, Ninõ." he said with a smirk. "I told you before, do not underestimate me, or you will be caught off-guard. Got it?" at this, he had his hand on his sword sheathe. "Now, you will be defeated..." with a quick push of his thumb, the base of the blade was visible, and in this moment, Dordonii announced; "Whirl - Giralda!" ~~~~~~~~~~ "What's that?" Hatake Kakashi, who had been on his room this morning, felt an unusual high level of Chakra - or at least energy - rise up to the east of their HQ. He feared it was an enemy, but he sensed Ben's energy as well, so he bet that he was fighting the possible enemy already. Still, he had to assist him, so he went up - his Ninja outfit already on - and went out of his room, down to where Harry and Ron were. They were having a game of Wizard's Chess, but Kakashi swept away the pieces in frustration and to get the two wizards' attention. "Hey! What the bloody hell, Kakashi?" Ron argued, but Harry knew he was going to say something serious. "What is it, Kakashi?" he asked right-on-spot. Kakashi looked at both Ron and Harry before speaking. "First; you two need to be on more attention than this! Playing games like this all day is not so smart." he said sternly, and Ron twiddled his thumbs. "Second; I just sensed Ben and a massive amount of Chakra-related energy near him. I believe he is in danger, and we need to investigate at once. I fear that even if Ben is a quite formidable fighter, he may need our help this time." Harry was instantly up as Kakashi said this. If it was one thing he did not want to happen, it was for one of the members of the Union to suffer the same fate as Mileena and Lee did for their sake. "Let's go then!" he said, hastily pulling his wand. Ron stood up, nodding and pulling his as well. "We won't fail the Union! Not now, not ever!" Kakashi nodded, and pulled out his Kunai. "Then let's move, both of you. We don't have all day." he stated, and the three ran off to help Ben. But perhaps, they were too late... ~~~~~~~~~~ Dordonii was surrounded by a vortex that was resembling a cyclone, and Ben had to grab hold of the mountain to not be pushed away by the force of the gale. Rika and Renamon were keeping their ground, standing against the storm that suddenly whipped up. Quint seemed to be unaffected, just standing and smirking at Dordonii's transformation. "Heh, the idiot...he actually had to use Resurrecciõn? No, he is just overconfident. Or perhaps that kiddo has more aliens up his sleeve? We'll just have to see...both will die, no matter what's the case..." thought Quint as the hurricane settled. Wind was still circling around Dordonii, but at a slower pace. His body had a few changes now; He had two horn-like outgrowths on his shoulders that looked like goat horns, and his legs were covered in white armor with a pipe on each foot, and bubble-like armor pieces around the ankles. A small piece of armor sat like a forehead protector on his head, and his moustache seemed a bit thinner. "Now, Ninõ...this is my true form." he said, a smirk still on his face. Ben was slightly impressed, but also a bit fearing of the unknown creature in front of him. What was this Dordonii? Alien? Human? Or just something...different? "Time to dance, Giralda!" Dordonii said aloud, and the wind kicked up a notch again. Suddenly, fumes of air were blasting out of the pipes on his feet, and rose to the air, forming some snake-like creatures with white bird masks on their "faces". Dordonii kicked in thin air, and suddenly, the creature on the left moved in to attack Ben. "Whoa, what the?!" Ben jumped away, dodging the attack, but then, Dordonii kicked with his right foot, and the right creature charged in, ramming Ben and slamming into the ground with a bang. "BEN!" Rika cried out, a sudden chill of fear sent up her spine as she saw Ben being pummeled into the ground all of a sudden. But Ben came up from the formed crater, and Rika was relieved. "Ben, you ok?" "Yeah, I'm fine..." Ben groaned in pain, cracking his neck. "Agh...that was a hit indeed. Now, I think I need to get serious..." he took some time to think; "So, from what I just saw, this form can summon some sort of creature to aid him in battle. However, he has to kick or swipe his feet to make them move, or else they're immobile. I need to figure out if he has a pattern or something in his attacks, then I put in a counter-attack!" Nodding, Ben charged at Dordonii, but he just kicked at Ben, and one of the "storm birds" charged at him. Ben grinned, and with a turn, he grabbed the head of the bird, but it just kept pushing him backwards. It was immensly strong, so Ben might just have been regular for this to be more ineffective. He pushed off the bird that attacked him, but was immidiently rammed by the second one, crashing into the woods on the other side of the lake. "You already finished, Ninõ?" Dordonii grinned. "You are not a match for me, so come on! Show me your true powers! I want us to fight at our full powers, to go head-to-head with all our might! So why don't you go at full strenght?! Show me your POWER!" in fact, Ben was far from able to use his full powers. For some reasons, after activating him in the battle against Vilgax when his Omnitrix was about to self-destruct, he could not activate the powers of Way Big. He had to find another way. Standing up, he reverted to his human form, and walked to face Dordonii, who was insulted by seeing Ben being in his normal form. "Hmph...you disgrace me, Ninõ..." "Shut your trap, Dor-whatever." Ben said, looking at Dordonii. "You keep braggin' about how big your powers are, and how you want me to fight using my full powers. If I had done that, you would simply not accept your fate if the battle didn't go in your favor, and you would die a "disgraceful" death. So let us fight this fight as we see fit for each other." "You do not understand, Ninõ. Battle is about going at full strenght, to overpower the other one in a conflict on massive scales." Dordonii countered. As he talked, more and more storm birds formed from the fuming air pillars. "One victor, one loser. That is how it is. And both warriors will use their full strenght to not dishonor each other. That is a code! If you are willing to break it, then I will make you suffer." Ben stared at all the storm birds. There were at least a dozen of them, and he didn't see a way to fight them all at once unless he was both strong & fast at once. Then, a thought flashed his mind; What is he still HAD Way Big? It was worth a try. "Heh, we'll see then, if I am willing to die so easily." Ben said, turning on his Omnitrix. "You seem like a strong guy, but I'll beat ya! I just know it! And...I made a promise to Rika. I said I would protect her, and that is what I'm going to do!" with a slam of the button, Ben transformed again. But this time, he began to grow Larger and larger, until he was about as large as a skyscraper. Quint was actually interested this time, and looked up at the massive figure that towered above them. Ben was now a gargantuan alien with yellow eyes, thick, armor-like hide in a grey color, and with two sharp "fins" on his elbows, and one on his head, colored red. This was his Way Big form. "W-What in Lord Aizen's name is THAT?!" Dordonii gasped. Rika was also as shocked as the Pivaron Espada. Ben has never unleashed this form before, so she was impressed indeed. Dordonii smirked nervously. "H-Hahah! You're still no match for me!!" he shouted, and kicked at Ben. The storm birds charged at Ben's giant body, but as they struck him, he didn't seem to feel it. "W-What?!" "Annoying..." Ben said in a low-pitched, rumbling voice, looking down at Dordonii. "Go away..." he raised his foot, and swiftly brought it down upon Dordonii, as he mashed not only him, but the mountain and the lake, in the progress. Rika was forced to run and dodge as Ben stomped at Dordonii, but managed to get to safety. A huge dust cloud formed as Ben stomped into the ground, and a red flash was visible in the dust. Rika stood up, looking around. "B-Ben?" she said, coughing a bit. "Ben?! BEN!! Where are y-..." she was interrupted as she felt someone hug her. "Ben...you are safe..." "Of course, Rika...you know I am..." Ben said, smiling as he kissed her hair. Rika smiled, and nuzzled Ben's chest a bit. In the background, a trampled Dordonii was laying in a crater, gasping his last breath before he fell numb and silent. He was dead, hopefully. "Let's go now, Rika..." "Yeah...I'd like that..." Rika smiled at Ben, who smiled back. But as they were to kiss each other, a clapping noise was heard, though it sounded like sarcastic claps. "Bra~vo. Well done..." Quint was revealed, rolling his eyes. "Please, don't be cocky just because you killed Panini. He was worthless all along. Now, I think I have to do what I was originally suppose to do..." with a crack of his knuckles, Quint disappeared, and appeared in front of Ben. "You're terminated, f*cker." before anyone reacted, a powerful punch was connected with Ben's gut, and he flew straight into a tree, as it fell down when Ben crashed into it. Rika was scared to death, and rushed to her lover's body. "Ben! Ben!!! Are you ok Ben?! Answer me!!" Rika tried everything; slapping his face, shaking him, opening his eyes. But nothing worked. It seemed as the unthinkable had happened; Benjamin Tennyson was dead. To be continued...

Chapter 3 - The Regulants, Part 2 - Illumination "Ben?! Ben!! BEN, WAKE UP!!" Rika cried and shouted, shaking Ben's seemingly lifeless body. "Please, get up!!" but Ben wasn't getting up. He was still as lifeless as he was when Rika first started to try and wake him. Quint was smirking in the background, his grin being that of a beast. "I'm afraid that is no way of wakin' him." he chuckled coldly. Rika turned to Quint, her face filled with fear and sadness. "That's right, heh. Your precious little Ben is dead. Finito. No more. Not comin' back. Catch my point? You just gotta deal with it." Quint then turned around and saw a sphere hover up to him. "Took ya some time, Nexev." "Hmph, do you have any considerable idea of how long I had to go to get here? I am not some sort of delivery guy who picks up and delivers stuff, I am an inventor and creator." a voice inside the sphere said. "Whatever, I got you the toy you wanted..." Quint rolled his eyes, and pointed to Ben's body. Rika instantly stood up, and blocked off the path to Ben's body. "Girl, please step aside. I ain't a gentleman, so I don't pull back for a girl." "No! I-I won't let you have him!" Rika said, tears falling from her eyes. "I-I won't let you. He is no toy you can mess around with. H-He's a person...and the one...whom I loved..." "Aaaw, gee, that's emotional and all, but we got a pressed schedule at the moment, so why don't you just get the f*ck out of here and never come back?" Quint suggested, grinning still. "Besides, it's not like he REALLY loved ya..." "W-What? What do you mean?" Rika said, suddenly confused. "Geez, you really think that he loved ya for one sec?" Quint facepalmed. "What an idiot. Look, the only reason he loved ya was because your silly lil' Ninja boyfriend died, and he wanted to "comfort you after your loss". In other words...replace Lee. He knew that you loved Lee more than him, so when Lee was bye-bye, he decided to take a shot and steal your so-called "irreplacable" love for Lee to himself. You, being such an emotional wreck at the moment, instantly turned to Ben, no matter how much ya try to deny it. He is nothing but a liar and a thief..." "N-NO! Stop!! I-I won't listen!" Rika said desperately. Seeing her so desperate, Quint's grin grew. "Oh, but you will. This is only the truth I am speaking, and you know it. You and Ben may have been so cute an' all, but in the end, he was using your love all along. He is still that pathetic lil' maggot you loved to hit and yell at. You're in denial, Rika Nonaka. No-one truly loves you. Accept it, or die in despair here and now." at these words, Rika's world slowly fell apart in front of her. With darkness around her eyes, she fell on her knees, just staring down. Quint smirked. "Good girl." he went up to Rika, then passed her and went up to Ben's body. "Tsk tsk...such a waste of effort he put up. Panini was as easy as Fred to beat the crap out of, and he actually had to exhaust himself with using Way Big. Oh well, I guess things can be used in one way or another..." he grabbed Ben's dead arm, and dragged him towards the floating orb that Nexev's voice emitted from. A light emitted from the orb, and Ben's body turned to a cloud of spiritual energy as it was absorbed into the orb. "Good, good. This body is still capable of being used for my experiments. Also, I would like to inform that the activation of my Prototype Robot Masters is almost complete. I will soon have Gemini Man up and going. He would surely love to get a share of the unavoidable carnage, if not to admire himself." Nexev grunted at the last sentence. Quint shrugged his shoulders. Since no one exept Broken was allowed into Nexev's lab, he, Fredrik and Kevin had no idea what was going on in there. "Whatever, just take me along with this thing." he said sternly. The orb shined brightly again, and absorbed Quint into it before flying away. Rika was left there. Alone. And hopeless. Suddenly, Kakashi, Harry and Ron showed up, but too late. "Damn, we're too late." Kakashi sighed. He looked over to Rika, who just looked at the ground. "Hm? What is it now, Rika? And where's Ben?" "T-They took him. H-He's dead." ~~~~~~~~~~ In the Negative Dimension, Fredrik was sitting on the outdoor plateau of the Regulant's HQ, along with two of his servants; Gantenbainne Mosqueda and Findor Carias. Gantenbainne was Arrancar No. 103, having been reduced in rank to Pivardon Espada, and Findor Carias was the 2nd Espada's - Barragan Luisenbarn's - personal Fraccion. Fredrik was in his usual, depressed mood, and just looked up at the sky, which was black as coal and filled with thunderclouds. "The weather in this cursed land does not seem to change." Gantenbainne stated. "Unlike this place, you can at least see if it's day and night in Hueco Mundo." "Exacta." Findor replied, looking over to the Pivardon Espada with a slight smirk. "Though this place is closer to our enemies, it is quite depressing. However, no matter how depressing it is, it is ideal for these Regulants, as they have shorter distance to the "real" dimension, I've heard." at this, Fredrik sat up. "Why must there be battle & bloodshed?" he asked himself. "Nothing good comes from it, and not even having real friends once it's done makes it worth the while. I hate killing innocents." "Hey, that's what I hate too!" a voice said behind them. Fredrik turned around, and saw Kevin smiling at him and his two Arrancars. "Hi Fred! What'ya doing here?" "Nothing, Kevin." Fredrik said, a slight smile crossing his lips. "Just sitting here, looking at the sky." "Ah, mind if I join?" Kevin cheerfully said, and sat next to Fredrik, who just sighed. "Hey, get that frown upside-down! C'mon now, this can't be so bad! I mean, we're really powerful and all, so why worry? It's not like we're gonna die or something!" "That's what we will do..." Fredrik said. "Don't you know? The enemies we face aren't just regular children and grown-ups. They're as powerful as we are, maybe even more. Kevin, we need to be serious here. Our enemies are the ones that hold up the balance of what they call Good and Evil, and they state that we are the evil ones? But what is so evil in just trying to make the world better? That's what Broken's told me. He wants the world to be free from ignorance and sorrow - free from guilt, anger, greed and despair - he wants to purify it. I can't help but to agree with him, no matter how weird it may sound. I mean, if there was no ignorance, despair and sorrow...I could live my life as a happy person...for everyone would accept and respect me for who I am." according to Fredrik, Broken's plan of purification was a truly marvelous one. If he now could clean away all despair and sorrow, Fredrik wouldn't have to feel these feelings anymore, and he could live as a happy person. "Well, I guess you're right, but isn't it what those feelings are for?" asked Kevin. "I mean, if we now have sorrow, don't we have sorrow for a reason? Hey, I may be all cheerful, but I too have negative emotions. I just lock them away because I feel that I can do just fine without them! You shouldn't feel all negative either, Fred. You got me and the others!" he patted Fredrik's shoulder, smiling at his MSN-buddy. He knew that if there was something that could cheer up Fredrik, it was to respect him and tell him that he wasn't so bad after all. Fredrik turned to Kevin, smiling. "Heh, I guess you're right, Kev. Thanks bud." he said, and slapped Kevin a High Five. Kevin returned it, smiling. "Hey, no prob! Least I can do for you is to make you feel better!" he said, standing up. "Well, I got to go now! See ya!" he leaped off towards the HQ again. Fredrik stood up, looking over the thundering mesa of the Negative Dimension one last time, before turning around. "Gantenbainne. Findor. Let's be off." he said simply, and went away, with Gantenbainne and Findor following. ~~~~~~~~~~ Deep down inside the Regulants' base, autonomic sounds and computer bleeps were all that was heard as the plans of a mastermind was carried out. In his massive lab/room, Nexev was frantically working with his schemes and inventions, completely isolated from the other Regulants. The only one that had allowance to enter - since he came and went as he wished for - was Broken, and he had quite the patience for Nexev's plans to be finished. In fact, he did never really care what Nexev was inventing. He only cared when it would be finished. And now - since he had been given Ben's lifeless corpse for some reason he didn't want to explain - he was on top-notch, being all over his lab in preparation for what he called his most "surpreme plot". As he now was in the middle of these master plans, a dark portal rose from the floor, and out of it stepped Broken, his darkness still surrounding him. "Is this plot of yours done soon?" he asked patiently. Nexev brought a smirk to his face, as he stepped away from one of his desks, facing Broken. "Almost, great Broken." he replied solemnly. "You see, this extraordinary technique of body reanimation seems so intriguing to me for the moment, and I simply have to try it out." "And the test subject will be...?" "Ben Tennyson, of course!" Nexev stated, and pointed to a room. As he went up to it and opened it, chilly winds was flowing out of it. It was a freezing chamber, and inside it was Ben's corpse, frozen and kept in good shape. "His tissues and organs will be kept fresh during this cryogenetic state, so I won't have to be worried about him rottening and decaying, while I perfect my Reanimation Formula and the machine that will inject it. Now then Broken, what was it that you wanted?" Broken turned around as Nexev said this, and looked at the machines in front of him. "Let's not talk about me now, Nexev." he said. "For there is alot of things to plan if the Prophecy is to be done." "The Prophecy?" Nexev repeated. "Personally, I don't really believe in such religious humbug, and even if there WAS a Prophecy about the Regulants, then it would include several flaws, such as the "Chosen One's" childhood being filled with misery, and he still had caring parents. That is a major flaw, along with this Negative Dimension magnifying that despair. One's inner despair can only be affected by..." "By negative emotions from one self." Broken finished. "I know this Nexev, don't take me for a fool. Negative emotions is what breeds our inner chaos, but from chaos, unity is also created. So how can the chaos overcome the unity, if more chaos gives more unity? That is what I believe this Negative Dimension did to the Chosen One. It magnified his negative emotions, and thus, his chaos magnified. But, his unity wasn't magnified, since he had long since locked away his unity, never letting it out. He was the first to live with chaos and darkness only. And so, he was destined to be the leader of the Regulants, an organisation of conserved hatred and sorrow. He was known to become a great person." Broken now went off to a tube in the room, invesitgating it as he spoke. It was filled with a clear liquid, and inside was the body of a robot. It was armored with a reflecting mirror-armor of some sort, with a crystal crown on its helmet, and a cannon on its right hand. "So this is your new...servant?" Nexev nodded. "Quite correct, along with three more, incomplete ones. He is the first to be completed, I hope, since his stabilizers and energy core is working almost autonomous. He is know as "Gemini Man". A robot named after a star sign, the Twins. He can reproduce an exact replica of himself, and it can attack and talk exactly like its original. Also, his laser rikochet from walls and other flat areas, making it quite versatile. He will be a great soldier." Nexev ended his speech with a smirk. "However, the only flaw is his narcissism, which I can't seem to de-program." "Fair enough, carry on..." Broken said, as he disappeared in a dark portal once again. This time, he ended up in a large throne room, with no light in it whatsoever more than aroung the throne. Sighing, he went over to the throne, and sat down on it, holding his head. "Ugh...these mindless idiots...to think they know a thing about the Prophecy. No, they don't know. They don't know that I'M an important part in it. They are...too occupied..." he snapped his fingers, and in an instant, two figures appeared. They seemed like children in physical appearance, one of them dressed in a black outfit with red trims. His hood had two red, glaring dots from the black hood, which extened to a small cape which reached down to his knees. He wore leather boots, and around his neck, a loose chain connected the cape's sides with each other, a silver moon hanging from the middle link. The other wore resembling clothing, only with white color theme and blue trims. From his cape, two yellow dots were brightly shining, and on his chain's middle link, a golden sun was hanging. "You rang?" said the black one in a joking matter, sniggering slightly. The white one sighed in an embarrassed fashion, and bobbed his partner in the head. "Now is not the time for jokes, BK." he said, turning to Broken. "Master, why have you summoned us?" "Demi, I am going to be blunt..." Broken said, and sat up straight on his throne. "We have a new enemy at our hands, one that could interrupt our operation, and destroy The Prophecy's progress. They are known as the Union of Justice, and they are a quite powerful gathering of "heroes" with extraordinary powers. However, I believe that after Quint's little "visit", one of them seem to have a pretty awful breakup in her mind, and this may weaken the Union's resolve. However, your role in this won't be as soldiers..." BK seemed to wanna start an argue, but Demi shook his head at him. "...You will my personal guards, and guard this very room - The Chamber of The Equlibrium - at all costs. If anyone exept Regulants and their servants come near, kill them. That's an order." Demi and BK nodded, and went away from the room, and stood outside. While standing there, they held their staffs in salute. Both were slender, and made of oak, but Demi's had a white sphere on the top, whilst BK's had a black one. "......this is boring." BK finally said. Demi sighed, and gave in, nodding in approval. "Might be so, BK, but this is what our master wants us to do." he said to his younger brother. BK groaned and leaned to the wall, sliding down till' he sat down on the floor. "Geez, why can't we fight too?" he said, as Demi sat down as well. "I mean, we can easily whoop that Union's asses, I think! I'll just throw a Meteor up their arses!" "I agree that we can beat them, but I do not want us to be recklessly throwing ourselves into a fight." Demi countered. "Touché, Demi. Tou-ché." .:Abarai Renji:.
Chapter 4 – Judgement of The Death Gods The sun was casting its crimson rays upon the Spiritual World as morning came to the Shinigami's headquarters; Soul Society. In the midst of all the maze-like gardens, houses and marketplaces, Serireitei was standing as the tallest of the buildings, being the Shinigami Fortress in all its pride and dignity. Not far from it, on top of a massive pillar, stood a young man. He was dressed in black robed with white trims inside the sleeves and near the bottom, and he had a white cloth belt strapped around the waist, as well as a red belt around his chest, going around his right shoulder and past his back. On his back, he had a blade strapped in bandages, and his orange hair fluttered slightly over his brown eyes. He was Ichigo. Kurosaki Ichigo, by full name. He was something called a Shinigami – a Death God – but he hadn't inherited his powers at birth like other Shinigamis. He had his powers given to him by another Shinigami. A girl named Rukia Kuchiki, who protected him against a creature called a Hollow. Hollows are creatures created from the tormented souls of the dead, who live for nothing more but eating humans and devouring their Reiatsu, or Spiritual Pressure. Rukia stabbed Ichigo with her Zanpakutõ – Soul Slayer – and thus, Ichigo attained the powers of a Shinigami, and slew the Hollow attacking him, Rukia, and Ichigo's family. ”Looks like that ol' geezer is having everyone in a rush...” Ichigo sighed for himself, looking down at three persons running through Soul Society. These three, he had known for a long time, and one of then had he actually fought multiple times. The only girl with them was the one who gave him his Shinigami powers; Rukia Kuchiki. Her black and slightly indigo hair was waving slightly as she ran, being dressed in the same outfit as Ichigo had, being a lower-ranked Shinigami. The person next to her had red hair strapped up in a wild ponytail and had black tattoo streaks over his neck and slightly on his face. He had a white bandana around his forehead as well. This wild-looking man was as ferocious as he looked, for he was Abarai Renji, and if someone picked a fight with him, they would be facing a force of pure rage and bloodshed. The third and final figure was similar to a child in height proportions, but his differently attired clothing notified that he had a higher rank than Rukia and Renji. He was a Captain of the Gotei 13, a strong Shinigami Force of Soul Society. His capes and robes were white with black trims on it, and on his back was the Japanese symbol for ”10”, suggesting he was the captain of the 10th Shinigami Squad. He was known as Hitsugaya Toushiro. ”Let's see if I can drop in!” Ichigo decided, and with a swift move, he disappeared, and reappeared running next to Renji. The three Shinigami didn't seem startled at all, but just kept running. ”Oi! Might wanna tell me what's up?” Ichigo said to Renji. He simply turned his head to Ichigo with a smirk. ”Oi, Ichigo! Didn't know I'd see your face here!” he said with a certain cheerfulness. Ichigo had it clear for himself; When Renji was this cheerful, there was a battle promised. ”Captain-Commander has ordered all the Gotei Shinigami to enter a part of the Human Realm where he has sensed a large gathering of former Arrancar enemies, even some of the Espada!" Ichigo froze from within as he heard this. The Espada? He remembered how his fights with Ulquiorra Cifer and Nnoitra Jiruga almost got him killed, and for some reason, fear was welling in his spine. But no matter how great this fear was, they had to fight it. Now, Rukia made a sharp turn, and ran in another direction. "OI! Rukia! Where you going?!" Renji shouted after her. "Sorry, but I have been informed who the groups will be, and I am going to work with my brother." Rukia explained. Ichigo knew who she talked about; The 6th Division Captain, Byakuya Kuchiki. Ichigo have had his run-ins with him a few times too, as he once battled him at full offensive strenght with his Bankai's most powerful ability, the Senkei Senbonzakura Kageyoshi, and live to tell the tale. He and Byakuya has never been the best of "allies", and does not often work as a team. "So, my Captain is in another team, eh?" Renji asked himself. "Wonder which group we're in." "Wait, what?!" Ichigo exclaimed. "Am I to come as well?" "Heh, of course! Can't leave ya behind, or you'll just jump into the middle of the party!" Renji grinned. Ichigo sighed at Renji's pun. Though it was sort of right, since Ichigo was usually the one to put his nose into the other Shinigami's business. "Ok now, so who are we teamed up with this ti-...ohcrap." "What now Renji? Scared of bein' with some real Elites?" a voice was heard chuckling. In front of Renji, Ichigo and Toushiro were two other Shinigami. One was bald with regular Shinigami robes, and his Zanpakutõ sheathed and resting on his shoulders. Red markings were also seen around his eyes. The other - however - was completely different in appearance. His robes were that of a regular Shinigami, but he had a piece of orange clothing around his neck, and around his right hand. His sleeves were slightly loose around his arms, and his hair had jaw-lenght and colored indigo. On his right eye, his eyelashes and eyebrow had red & yellow feathers. These two were Ikkaku Madarame and Yumichika Ayasegawa. Both were in the 11th Squad, under the command of Zaraki Kenpachi. But this time, they were under Toushiro's lead, and along with Renji & Ichigo, they had been ordered to scout the Human Realm for possible Arrancar activity. "So...can we get this under way?" Yumichika suggested, slipping his fingers through his perfect hair in a nochalant way. "Oh, it is SO pesky when my hair does this!" he straightened out a curling in his hair, and this made Renji have an Anime Sweatdrop on the back of his head. "Yumichika, why the hell do you think about your hair now?!" he yelled, and locked eyes with the narcissist Shinigami, who instantly took it an offending insult. "What the hell do you have for a problem with my hair?!" he spat back at Renji. "You should be the one looking at YOUR hair! It looks like a frickin' pineapple!" "Oh, you got GUTS to talk about me like that, you freakin' nail polisher!" "IT'S A WAY TO MOISTURISE MY SENSITIVE NAILS, BARBARIAN!" Both Yumichika and Renji were locked in an eye fight, as Ikkaku, Ichigo, and Toushiro stood back and watched the two fight each other's glares, and eventually turn away from each other with their arms crossed. "Why did we get stuck with these two?" Toushiro sighed. "Beats me." Ikkaku shrugged. "We are going to have trouble of keeping them off each other rather than fighting the enemies..." Ichigo stated, as Renji was now trying to pull off Yumichika's hair from the roots while Yumichika was ferociously clawing Renji's face. ~~~~~~~~~~ Rika was on her room, almost all alone, with the exception of Renamon being close to her. These days, Rika's been quite depressed, since the loss of two of her most beloved ones. She sighed, and flopped her hair over her eyes as she was leaning over her desk, reading a piece of paper that Ben had given to her; Wherever you are, know that my heart will always beat for you... Whatever you do, know that I share the things you do... No matter what...I will always be there for you... ~Benjamin Tennyson~ "He lied..." Rika said slowly, a tear dripping on the paper as she spoke, making it slightly wet. "He lied..." she repeated, but this time, a bit angered. He had promised her to be with her for all time, so why did he not? Why did he have to be killed? It felt like he knew it all along...yet he didn't tell Rika one single thing. Rika now felt betrayed...and enraged. "He lied...he lied...HE FUCKING LIED!!!!" she grabbed a photograph of the Union from back when it was first formed, and threw it with all her might onto the opposite wall behind her, the glass smasing to pieces as the photo hit it. Then she buried her face into her arms, crying out loudly. Renamon was shocked of this sudden outburst of rage from someone as intelligent and calm as Rika. She had never experienced Kari so traumatized before, but now, it was scaring her. She picked up the photo after brushing off some glass from it, and put it into a trash can before walking up to Rika. ”Rika...” she gently said, and held Rika's shoulder, but she literally hit if off from her. ”L-LEAVE ME ALONE!!” she cried loudly. ”LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!” Renamon was absolutely scared now of Rika's acting. She had never seen Rika so desperate...so sad...and so furious. It was as if she had given it all up without a fight, and it was really hard for her to understand human feelings, to add to the matter at hand. Renamon was just confused, and decided to leave her alone. She walked out of her room, and out to the balcony. There she sat down and sighed deeply. ”Why is this all happening?” she asked herself. She had been away when Quint and Dordonii attacked Rika and Ben, so she was in total confusion. ”Who are those Regulant guys? What do they want? Ooh, this is so confusing!” she groaned and held her head. ”I need some headache medicine...” she went up from her seat, and got into the house again. She walked down to the kitchen to get some water and a pill. She went up to the medicine cabinet, found some pills, and grabbed the jar. After that, she went to the kitchen, poured up some water in a glass, and swallowed it along with the pill. Hopefully, that would stop the headache. But then, she heard something outside the house. She slowly went outside, opening the door silently and sneaking out. She closed the door as silently as she had opened it, but then, she felt something sharp poke her shoulder, and before she knew it, a blade was over it. She gasped and gulped slowly. ”Well well well, what is this for a filthy creature?” a flamboyant voice said. Renamon slowly looked behind herself to see a man with purple hair and black robes with orange clothing on his neck and right arm sleeve. ”You are one of the strangest of Hollows I have seen, if I am honest. But it does not matter. You will be dead soon enough.” ”W-What?” Renamon managed to gasp. The man looked a bit dazed, but chuckled a bit. ”Ahaha, so you can talk, huh? Well, this will prove rather interesting...” he sheathed his sword, and smiled at Renamon. ”My name is Yumichika Ayasegawa, and I am the 5th seat of the 11th Shinigami Squad.” ”S-Shini...gami?” Renamon gasped louder. She had heard that word in Rika's Japanese Lessons. It meant... ”D-D-Death G-God?” Yumichika raised his left eyebrow. ”Oh? So you do know a little bit about us. This is excellent!” he smiled. ”Maybe you will prove to be a decent battle rival...” he pulled out his Zanpakutõ, ready for a fight. Renamon just shook her head. ”N-No...no, I don't want to fight!!” she said. Yumichika sighed. ”It's not like you have a choice, Hollow.” he said, and pushed the blade at Renamon's throat. She was almost crying now, seeing that no one was there to help her. But before Yumichika was about to finish her off, something was flying through the air. Something blue...shaped like an arrow. Yumichika saw this, and instantly dodged it, as it exploded upon the porch. Yumichika landed a few feet away. ”Hm? Who was that?” he stood up, and noticed that the attacker had arrived; A young man was in front of Renamon. He was having black raven-colored hair, bright skin, and glasses over his black eyes. He was wearing white robes with blue trims symbolizing a cross over his chest, and a mantle on his shoulders and neck. In his hand he seemed to hold some sort of blue-glowing bangle, which was in the shape of a target marker of some sort. He looked back at Renamon, a serious look plastered on his face. ”Are you alright, M'lady?” he asked gently, but still firmly. Renamon was unsure if she could trust this man, but if she didn't want her throat slit, she figured she had to trust him. She nodded slowly. ”Y-Yes...” she said. The man gave her a gaint smile before turning to Yumichika again, aiming the bangle at him. ”Now, get out of my sight, or I my next arrow won't miss...” he said firmly, and created an arrow out of thin air, blue energy sparkling in his hand till' it formed an arrow. Renamon was stunned at the man's power, no matter how strange and bizarre it seemed to her. The man now aimed at Yumichika, who was ready to attack, but then, someone shouted; ”Uryü?!” Appearing in front of the man now was Ichigo, Renji & Ikkaku. Toushiro appeared later on, standing in front of Yumichika. He shared a stern glare with the man before speaking; ”Quincy. I will spare your life, if you allow us to step by and make sure the ones here are not the ones we seek to slaughter.” he said calmly. The man shrugged. ”If you can defeat me, Shinigami.” he stated. ”I know enough about the things you call 'honor' and 'justice'. You do nothing but slaughter and murder! You think you can take justice in your own hands and manipulate it at free will, thinking you are the gods you say you are. But let me tell you something, Shinigami. You are nothing more than killers. Murderers.” Toushiro didn't flinch as these words were thrown at his face, and he held up his Zanpakutõ at the man. ”You will follow orders, or you will die.” he said simply. The man shrugged, and disappeared in a flash. At this point, there was a crash from one of the windows, and out jumped Kakashi, holding a Kunai in his hand. ”Well well well...seems like I heard correctly.” he said calmly. ”There were people sneaking here.” in this moment, the door opened behind Renamon, and Harry, Ron and Rika went outside, Rika still looking a bit sad. The group of Shinigami were a bit startled, but soon took time to analyze the Union's warriors. Both the Union and the Shinigamis were anxious to start, as the Shinigamis were clenching their Zanpakutõ's handles, and the Union's legs were twitching in excitement. But then, the Shinigamis stopped. ”What now?” asked Kakashi. ”Heh, we will be able to beat you only sending in two of us to battle you.” Yumichika smiled, and nodded twice. Ikkaku and Renji stepped up, smirking at their foes. ”Those two...” Kakashi mumbled, pullingh is Kunai. ”They seem stronger than the rest...we must be cautious.” he nodded to his fellow Union fighters, who nodded back. They were only four now, but they hoped that it would not worsen their chances. Ikkaku and Renji pulled their Zanpakutõs, ready for fight. Kakashi decided to give them what they sought, and made a few hand seals. ”Katon; Goukakyü no Jutsu!” he spat a huge fireball at Ikkaku and Renji, who instantly jumped aside. Renamon knew she was up next, and leaped to Ikkaku's side, and landed a powerful kick into his chest, which sended the Shinigami into the ground. Ikkaku got up just in time to parry another kick with his scabbard, then slashed at Renamon. Renamon dodged this as well, and landed in front of Ikkaku, noticing him smile. ”Why the hell are you smiling?” she frowned. Ikkaku chuckled. ”Heh, just thinkin' this is fun.” he said simply. ”A battle is most enjoyable if it is a one-on-one battle, and in this case, I am enjoying myself. Now, what is your name?” ”Why would you want to know it?” Renamon demanded. ”You wouldn't live to hear it anyway.” Ikkaku sighed at this. ”Well well...it seems that we have very different ways.” he turned to Renamon. ”We Shinigami introduce ourselves before we kill our foes, as a part of common courtesy. If you'd die in battle, you would want to know the name of your killer, so I shall give you mine! Third Seat of the Zaraki Squad; Ikkaku Madarame!” ~~~~~~~~~~ Harry and Ron were instantly confronted by Renji, who seemed to have a wild look on his face. He was slashing right and left to hit Harry or Ron, who were forced to use several spells to keep him at bay. "PROTEGO! PROTEGO!" Harry repeatedly yelled, as each slash of Renji's Zanpakutõ slashed through his arcane barrier. "What have we ever done to anger you?!" "Nothing! Just being in the way of our operation!" Renji shouted back, and slashed up Harry's wizard outfit. The black and red-trimmed robe fell to the ground, and left Harry in his blue sweater and jeans. "You are weak, boy. You shouldn't fight grown-ups." "We've fought more powerful grown-ups than you!" Ron protested, and aimed his wand at Renji's sword-wielding hand. "Expelliarmus!" the spell hit Renji's hand, but his Zanpakutõ didn't jump out of its grasp. "W-What?!" "Keh! I am more powerful than that!" Renji scowled, and held up his Zanpakutõ. "I think it's about time I finish you two! HOWL - ZABIMARU!" a red flash surrounded the blade, and it increased in lenght and size. The sword now looked like it had several segments, and each segment had a "tooth" blade on the tip, with an extra large one at the end segment. "Now, feel the wrath of Zabimaru!" he slashed at Harry, but to his surprise, the blade separated and flew like an out-of-control whip at him. Before he had time to react, he let out a painful scream as the blade burrowed into his arm, up to his shoulder. "HARRY!" Ron cried out, but then, Renji had a smirk on his face, as Zabimaru slowly cut through Harry's shoulder and arm as it was retracted, with Harry screaming in pain and torture. As Zabimaru was back to its owner, Ron rushed up to Harry. "Harry, you ok?!" he said. Harry stood up and held his shoulder and arm, blood gushing from it. "Y-Yeah...I'm fine, but..." he stuttered, looking at Renji and his released Zanpakutõ, "I-I think that we have...taken water over our heads..." To be continued...

Chapter 5 – The Union Shrinks The battle did not go in the Union's favor. Not at all. Kakashi was busy fighting off Yumichika's attacks, as he had recklessly charged him, Toushiro and Ichigo in an attempt to draw their attention, Renamon was busy fighting Ikkaku's ferocious and merciless attacks, and Harry & Ron had no luck whatsoever in their attempts to dodge Renji's attack, as they were stabbed and thrown off-guard. None of their spells worked against Renji's attacks, and Harry's arm and shoulder were bleeding heavily. "D-Damn it!" Harry groaned as another Protego was smashed asunder. "He's too strong!" Renji was lashing his Zanpakutõ against them again. "Heh, you should have thought better than fighting with me and Zabimaru!" he smirked, and saw how one of the teeth on his blade managed to slice open Harry's hand a bit, and heard the young wizard growl in pain. "Zabimaru can extend and change course with a single lash of its handle, no matter what direction I am facing. It can also release some segments from it and attack at will, like THIS!" he retracted his blade, then drove it into the soil. "HIGA ZEKKÕ!" suddenly, five segments of the blade appeared from the ground, surrounding Harry. "This is the end for you!" ~~~~~~~~~~ Renamon and Rika have had a hard time fighting the battle thirsty Ikkaku Madarame, and Renamon was constantly dodging Ikkaku's attacks. "What is going on here?" she thought, blocking another pound of Ikkaku's scabbard, then dodging a slash of his blade. "Why is Rika only standing like that? Why is she not giving me any orders?!" indeed, all Rika did was standing at the sidelines, worrying about the battle's progress. She was too shocked and depressed to say anything, and the fear of losing another member of the Union was rendering her paralysed. "W-What if we can't defeat them?!" she thought for herself. "W-What if they are too strong?! T-They will kill us, and all our struggled...w-would be for nothing!! I-It is hopeless!" these thoughts kept coming up in her head, and kept her from focusing on Renamon's battle. "RIKA!" Renamon shouted, as she was punched in the gut by Ikkaku's scabbard. "Rika, I-I need your help!" she gasped for air. Ikkaku simply pointed his Zanpakutõ at Renamon's throat, smirking a bit. "It's over now, Hollow." he smirked, and was about to decapitate Renamon with a single cut. But then, something pushed Renamon aside, and Ikkaku slashed up......an arm? "What the...?" he saw that Rika had finally gotten some sense into her head, and had pushed Renamon aside, letting Ikkaku slice up her arm. Blood was spilling on the ground as Rika landed and tumbled around a bit. As she stopped, she was laying on her side, holding her injured arm and crying. "RIKA!" Renamon rushed to Rika's aid, and held her up. "Rika, you ok?!" Rika looked up at Renamon's eyes, smiling faintly. "Of course, Renamon..." she said with a faint smile. "Are you?" Renamon looked over her body, not noticing any wounds. "Yeah, I am fine Rika." she said. "But why? Why did you do it?" Rika smiled again. "Because...I wanted to save you." she said. "I don't want anymore of the Union's members to die. Too many have died already, and I hope that no more have to." Renamon smiled back. "No more have to die, Rika. I promise you that." she said. But now, they had to focus on Ikkaku, who charged at them with his Zanpakutõ drawn. "Stop the emotional gibberish and FIGHT!" he shouted, and charged them. Rika and Renamon smirked, and in a flash, Renamon digivolved. "Renamon! Digivolve to......Kyubimon!" ~~~~~~~~~~ Kakashi never saw this coming. He had been fighting Yumichika for awhile now, but when he had the upper hand, Yumichika whispered a few words; "Bloom...Fuji Kukaju." In a flash, his Zanpakutõ shaped to a sickle-like blade, and a hinge appeared on its base. In a split-second afterwards, it separated into four identical blades, and Kakashi felt his shoulder being sliced open by the four, cruel-shaped blades. He gasped in pain, and leaped back a bit, holding his injured shoulder. "D-Darn...what was that for something?" he asked himself. Yumichika simply chuckled. "Ta ta, young ninja." he smirked, and brandished Fuji Kukaju in front of him. "You should be more careful. As you might see now, a Shinigami's Zanpakutõ has a released form, called a Shikai. This is my Shikai; Fuji Kukaju. Thought...a secret between us..." he smiled, seeing the others being busy, "This is not its true form..." "W-What?" Kakashi said, and stood up. "Why is this not your Zanpakutõ's true form?" "Because...it sulks." Yumichika stated. "It hates the color of wisteria purple, and whenever I call it by this name, it sulks, and won't achieve its true power. I am too afraid to unleash it, you see." Kakashi was idly listening to Yumichika's words. "My place is in the 11th Squad, under the lead of the Shinigami Captain Zaraki Kenpachi. He and my friend Ikkaku believes that power is the true way of a battle, to unleash all your rage and power on one single enemy, no matter how brutish or grotesque it looks like. My Shikai contradicts all of Zaraki's teachings, and I am afraid to release it because of my fear of being hated. You see my reasons now?" "I see." Kakashi nodded in reply. "You are afraid of listening to yourself, and rather listens to those words of your superior. You are but a pitiful servant." he made a few hand signs, and then, a lightning ball formed in his palm. "Well, this is MY ultimate attack, and also my only Original Technique! It has taken some time for me to master it, but since I was training vigorously day and night, I finally mastered it. You will be dead soon." with this, Kakashi took off with a neck-breaking speed at Yumichika, and then, appeared in front of him, which startled the Shinigami. "RAIKIRI!" he lunged the sphere at Yumichika, but it never reached him. "Sit upon the frozen heavens...HYÕRINMARU!" Toushiro had noticed Kakashi's attack against Yumichika, and knew he would have no chance dodging or parrying such a powerful and fast attack. In a moment's notice, he had summoned his Shikai, and a giant Chinese-styled dragon made of ice was charging at Kakashi. His Raikiri pierced it and sliced it apart, but it left Kakashi immobilized with a frozen arm and legs. "W-What?! What now?" Kakashi exclaimed, as Toushiro landed near Yumishika, Hyõrinmaru still near his Zanpakutõ. "Yumichika, you should have dodged." he said simply, and turned to Kakashi. "That attack you used...it was based on speed, correct?" "Correct." Kakashi replied as-a-matter-of-factly. "My Raikiri is made of Lightning Chakra channeled to my palm, creating a packed mass of it which I form to a sphere and merge with my hand, using it as a blade. It requires a lot of speed for the weapon to gain effect, as the force of the final thrust into the enemy is what counts, and to build up such force, running and gaining momentum is a crucial part of it. However, you seemed to see through it at some part." "True." Toushiro stated, his Zanpakutõ aimed at Kakashi's head. "I have to say, it was pretty obvious to see through your attack's tactic." "Pardon me, but obvious?" "Indeed. We Shinigami are not as stupid as it would seem. At the moment I saw your ankle muscles twitch in order to start moving, I knew you would be running to gain momentum for the attack. I even saw your movements. They were rushed and uncarefully planned, as if you were running for your very life. I summoned Hyõrinmaru to stop you, and I knew that attack of yours would slice open my Shikai, but it would leave you frozen in your wake. Hyõrinmaru is the strongest Ice-based Zanpakutõ there is, as it can create ice from the water in the atmosphere itself. There's no running from it." "I see." Kakashi replied, and looked at his frozen legs. "And I suppose that you don't show mercy for intruders in your plans?" Toushiro simply aimed his Zanpakutõ at Kakashi's throat. "Correct." A stab was heard as Kakashi's throat was pierced, and soon, everything went black for the Leader of The Union. ~~~~~~~~~~ Kyubimon was now having an upper hand against Ikkaku, as she lunged and leaped at him as he dodged her attacks. "If you're now so obsessed with fighting, why do you dodge?" smirked Kyubimon, and slashed at Ikkaku, tearing up his Shinigami uniform. Ikkaku landed and held his chest. "Gah, dodging is a mere reflex!" he said, and stood up. "A mere skill needed to kill your enemy! And you will die!" Ikkaku charged at Kyubimon, but she leaped away from Ikkaku and aimed her tails at him. "Fox Tail Inferno!" she cried, and in an instant, the flames on Kyubimon's tails grew brighter, and suddenly, blue ghostly faces appeared and charged at Ikkaku hastily, before erupting into blue fireballs that bombed him. Kyubimon - in hope of having hit her enemy - landed near Rika. "There...that's the last we'll see of that one." she said with confidence. But then, the smoke from the debree was lifted, and Ikkaku was visible, a bit charred, but not harmed in any major way. "HEh, and that is suppose to harm me?" he smirked. Then, the stab of Toushiro's Hyõrinmaru was heard on the battlefield, and even Renji cancelled his Higa Zekkõ to see what it was. All the Union's members froze solid as they saw Kakashi being stabbed in the throat, then the ice surrounding him breaking, as he fell down on his face. Dead. Point-blankly stabbed through the throat. "Naah, the fun's over! Keh, anyhow, we will be around here to see to it ya won't cause more trouble! So don't think this is over!" Ikkaku said, and joined up with Yumichika, Toushiro, Renji & Ichigo. One after the other, they disappeared in a flash, leaving the Union alone and shocked. "N-No..." Harry said, stuttering because the flaring pain in his shoulder. "K-Kakashi..." Ron stammered as well. "......" Rika turned away, and started to walk away from the scene. Kyubimon reverted to Renamon, and followed her. Harry managed to rush up to Rika, and grab her arm. "Rika! Where are you going?!" he said. "Do you think you can just walk away from this?! RIKA!" Rika didn't answer though, but with all her might, threw a punch straight at Harry's face, and he fell to the ground. "W-Why, Rika?" "......" Rika was silent, her gaze looking like it could pierce metal. "...Leave me alone..." she finally said, and went off into the dark night, with Renamon beside her. She had abandoned the Union......and from the looks of it, she would never return. To be continued...

Chapter 6 - Espada Encounter Rika was now where she wanted to be; far from the others. She have had enough of everything, literally, and was about to have a breakdown. Too much had happened all at once, and she was deeply confused of what to do now. As she and Renamon came up to a glade, she sat down on a rock, her crimson hair flopping down over her eyes, while looking down on her hands. "W-What is happening..." she stuttered for herself, moving her hands a bit, changing her view of them from her palms to her backhands. "W-Why is everyone...dying? First Lee...then Ben...and now...K-Kakashi too...why is this happening? Why do I feel so....g-guilty?" she sighed, and looked up to Renamon. She was almost as confused as Rika, and sat down next to her, holding her hands. "I do not know, Rika, but somehow, I think it will all work out." she said assuringly. She was never the best one to comfort someone, but when it came to her Partner, she had some sort of "connection" with her. A connection made of trust and companionship that she felt was unbreakable somehow. And indeed - as she spoke those words - Rika managed to force out a faint smile. "R-Really?" she asked Renamon, sitting up straight. Renamon nodded, now rubbing Rika's back a bit. "Of course, Rika." she said with a soothing tone. "No matter how hard things look like, they always turn out to end good for us, right?" Rika nodded, as she knew it was true. They had got out alive from much more dangerous situations than this one, and she didn't really want this one to be more different. Still - with all the persons dying around her - she couldn't help but to feel a bit guilty. "W-Well...you know me. I feel as if...all these persons dying...it feels as if it's all m-" she was interrupted as Renamon held her mouth awhile, before taking off her paw from it, and stroked Rika's cheek. "No Rika, it's not your fault. You know that more than me, you're just worried about all your friend's death." Renamon said, stroking Rika's cheek still. "But it has nothing to do with you, I promise. Okay?" Rika was amazed at Renamon's way to never blame her for anything. But then again, it was what she always did; cheer her up. Smiling at this, Rika held Renamon's paw and stood up, with Renamon doing the same. "Thanks Renamon." she said, and hugged Renamon. "You never let me feel bad, right? You're always cheering me up, and I hope you never will stop doing that. Cause...if you would leave me..." "I won't. Not now, not ever. You're my Partner, right?" "Of course." "Yeah, so let's drop this subject, and let's go back to the others, ok?" "......No Renamon." Rika stated, and broke away from the hug. "I am not going back. At least, not now. I want to know that I am fully prepared for it. I-I-I don't know if I can..." "Control you feelings?" an unknown voice said, and Renamon and Rika looked around. A dark portal opened, and in a flash, Fredrik was standing in front of them. He was looking straight at Rika, with a gloomy darkness in his eyes. "Do you too feel the depression and sorrow I have felt?" "Y-Y-You!! Y-You're one of those...those..." Rika stammered. Fredrik raised an eyebrow, and sighed deeply. "The Regulants. Yes, I am." he said, and removed a piece of his shirt, revealing a number. It was 5, and it looked like it was burnt into his flesh. "Regulator Nr. 5; Fredrik Lindell. The weakest of them..." he sighed, and slipped on the shirt again. "But I don't care. Fighting has never been of any interest for me. All I want is peace..." "Then why do you fight with those Regulants?" asked Rika, and had such a desire to walk up to Fredrik and comfort him. "You don't have to fight for those you don't want to fight with, and if you don't want to fight at all, then don't do it." Fredrik looked up at Rika before sighing again. "You don't understand..." he said, and looked down on his feet. "No one seems to take me seriously enough, and when I don't want to fight, they call me coward. No one seems to respect me, and so, I feel like my life is all an empty shell." he looked up again. "Just like you. You have seen so much death and bloodshed...that it clouds your mind and confuses your heart. The sight of your beloved ones dying has made your spirit tremble with fear and sorrow, and the death of your leader has now brought total disruption to your mind." he walked up to Rika, his hand stretched out as it glowed purple and black. "Allow me to release you from your pain and suffering...embrace my touch, and all of it will be gone. Your confusion. Your sorrow. All your feelings...will be swept away." at this point, Renamon acted fast and impulsively, and smacked Fredrik's hand away with a kick. Fredrik looked startled, and didn't even have time to turn around until Renamon once again kicked his - this time in the face - and he flew into a tree. He fell to the ground, landing on his two feet, and looked up at Renamon and Rika. "Don't you dare to touch her." Renamon said with a cold voice, brandishing her claws and fists. Fredrik sighed. "You two are not prepared..." he said simply, and began to fade. "For after all this, you still linger on to struggle against the inevitable. But don't worry, I have sent someone to aid you...to remove your pain and miserable existence..." another portal appeared next to Rika and Renamon, as both of them jumped back a bit. "Nnoitra...destroy them..." was the last thing Fredrik said, before he disappeared, returning to the Negative Dimension. ~~~~~~~~~~ What stepped out of the portal somehow made Renamon and Rika shiver in fear, even if what seemed to look like a tall, regular person, stepped out and stood in front of them. The man in question was dressed in a white outfit with black trims around an opening on the chest area, and with a white, spoon-shaped hood behind his head. He was quite skinny with bracelets on his wrists and tall, curved boots on his feet, which stretched up over about half his legs, and the boots had grey trims around the feets. Under his long, black hair was an eyepatch over his left eye, and his right eye was slim and snake-like in appearance. The most intimidating with him - however - was the fact that his mouth was split into a wicked grin, revealing the teeth in his upper jaw. "Well, well, well...what have we here?" he smirked, followed by a frown. "Meh, weaklings. Why did my master summon me for these two b!tches?" "Hey!" Rika shouted, and the man looked over at her. "Just who do you think you are, creep?!" the man smirked his wicked grin again. "Oh, you got some fighting spirit in you, don't you?" he said with a chuckle. "Too bad, I don't waste my time on weak, unskilled worms like you and that kitsune over there..." he pointed one of his bony fingers at Renamon. This seemed to tick Renamon off, as she rushed towards him and gave him a strong kick into his chest, but all he did was to twitch slightly in mere irritation. "What, is that all you got? Disappointing." he frowned yet again, and with a swipe of his hand, he merely slapped Renamon into a tree, as it crashed upon her impact with it. "RENAMON!" Rika cried out in desperation, and sighed in relief as Renamon stood up. Her gaze turned to the man, as she looked infuriated and worried about his power. To be able to hit someone that hard, it was impossible that this being was human. "W-What are you?! And why are you here?!" "Keh, I suppose I could spare you an answer..." the man smirked, and in an instand, he pulled out something from his back. A giant, axe-like weapon with two crescent-shaped blades connected to each others backs, the blades located on the inner circle. A looped chain was attached at the end of the long black handle, and seemed to be connected to his waist. Rika gasped at the size of his weapon. "I am Espada Nr. 5! Nnoitra Jiruga!" he opened his mouth and revealed his pointy tongue, revealing a tattoo of the number 5 on it, before pulling it back into his mouth. Renamon was now beside Rika again, ready for a fight. "Rika, let me take him down." she said confidently. "He only got a lucky shot that time, and it didn't even hurt. I can take him down." Rika was now hesitating. Nnoitra seemed stronger than what he had just demonstrated, and with the size and cruel shape of his weapon, one single mistake could lead to a fatal injury...or even death. But if Renamon was so confident in her abilities, could it mean that she could stand a chance against Nnoitra? She finally made up her mind, and pulled her Digivice. "Ok! Let's show him what a real fight is about!" she said determined, and Renamon nodded, coldly glaring at Nnoitra. He didn't seem the slightest intimidated, and just smirked on. "Keh, this will be interesting!" he smirked, and charged at Renamon with his axe swinging after her. Renamon made a quick move and dodged Nnoitra's swing, and prepared to punch his face. But Nnoitra had other plans, and yanked in the handle of his weapon, causing it to return towards him and Renamon, who had to back-flip in order ot dodge the inward-pointed blade. She hoped the blade would cut Nnoitra in half, but then, she saw in fear that the blade didn't even scratch Nnoitra, but instead seemed to grind along his body, a screeching sound occuring and sparks glimmering as the blade his him. Nnoitra smirked. "Oh, I should have mentioned; we Arrancar - as we are called - have enhanced iron skin, or as we call it, Hierro. There is no way any blade can cut me!" then he charged Renamon, grabbed her face, and pummeled her into the ground. "Let go of me, freak!" she growled, and delivered a kick into the Espada's face, as he staggered a bit and lightened his grasp on Renamon's face. She leaped up and kicked his chest again, which made him fly back a bit before regaining feeting. He grasped his axe tightly before charging at Renamon anew, slashing and thrusting his weapon at her, only to see her dodge and evade the attacks. "You know, you remind me ALOT of another annoyin' b!tch I've tried to kill!!" he snarled as he tried to slash Renamon with a downward cut, but she leaped away and caused Nnoitra to cleave a tree in half. He turned to see her in the air, and made a quick move. "Eat this!" he used the axe as a spear, throwing it at Renamon with all his might, as it went through the air in a straight angle, ready to cut Renamon. Renamon made a slight maneuver in the air, and dodged the lethal blades, and prepared for a landing. However, the chain to Nnoitra's weapon suddenly stopped to follow the weapon as he grasped it, and pulled in it. Renamon gasped, and looked around, seeing the axe return to its owner. Too late to move, she was hit, and splatters of dark red blood spilled in numerous gallons on the ground as the axe cut deep into her back-side. "RENAMON!! NO!!!" Rika cried out again as Renamon landed on the ground, her back and part of her side bleeding heavily as Nnoitra's weapon returned to his hand. "I told you, you're just two weaklings." Nnoitra grunted. "But I suppose I can end your suffering on my master's request..." he walked over to Renamon, aiming his axe at her throat. "Time for a nap, little girl. Bye-bye..." he was about to give her the final blow, but then, she grabbed the axe, and pushed it away from her, even if Nnoitra was pushing it against her palm, making it bleed as well. "N-No.." Renamon managed to speak, even with wounds like hers. "I-I-I won't be beaten...by someone like you. Y-You...you're a monster!" Nnoitra only smirked more. "Why thank you, I take that as a compliment." he said with his wicked grin on top, pressing the axe blade further into Renamon's hand, almost tearing it up. She screamed out in pain, but managed to keep it away from her throat as it closed up on her. "N-NOO!!!" she screamed and wailed in pain. "I-I-I WON'T...BE BEATEN...A-AAAGGHHH!!!!!" "Too bad, but your time's up..." Nnoitra stated, and lifted his axe from Renamon's palm, revealing a deep cut in it. Raising it over his head, he prepared for a final slash. "NOW, DIE!!!" the blade was sweeping down at Renamon's bleeding body, and would without a doubt cleave her in half. But then, in the final second, Rika managed to swipe a card in her Digivice and yell; "DIGIVOLUTION; BIO-MERGE EVOLUTION!!!" ~~~~~~~~~~ A bright light encased Renamon as Nnoitra was blinded and startled, halting his final blow on the wounded Digimon. The same light encased Rika, as their lights merged with each other, and created a shockwave of energy, whipping up strong winds that Nnoitra had to shield from by moving his arm in front of his face. "W-What?!" he said, startled by the ongoing events. "What's this for a trick?! Wait a second......their Reiatsu is growing! They're becoming stronger?!" as the light ceased, a womanly figure appeared from the dust clouds, as the heavenly Sakuyamon made her entrance. "What?! Who are you?!" snarled Nnoitra, holding his axe up at the Digimon. "We are now Sakuyamon." Sakuyamon said, and held up her staff at Nnoitra. "And you're about th get your ass kicked." Nnoitra noticed that the wounds he had inflicted upon Renamon had either vanished during this transformation, or simply closed up in some sort of regeneration sequence. Either way, he would have no problem to re-inflict those wounds. The creature's Reiatsu was not that much greater than that of the Renamon he fought earlier. He smirked again. "Idiot b!tch." he smirked. "THERE'S NO ONE WHO IS STRONGER THAN ME!!" he then yelled, and slashed at Sakuyamon with his axe, only to have his attack blocked by her staff. Slash after slash was delivered, and one after the other were they deflected or parried. The two seemed to be equals for a moment, as the other did not have time nor moment to make it through the other's defense. Sakuyamon finally managed to lock weapons with Nnoitra, her staff locking itself on the upper part of the axe's left edge, and under the right side. "D-Damn you, woman! I swear I will kill you! No woman is stronger than a man!" "You think so?" Sakuyamon simply stated, and leaped backwards. Rika & Renamon's Theme: ~Kittie - Into The Darkness(Vocal Remix) "Amethyst Wind!" she cried out, and summoned a mystical wind around Nnoitra, trapping him inside and decreasing his field of vision. As the Quinto Espada tried to figure out what had happened, a hailstorm of purple crystalline shards were summoned inside the wind, and before he had time to see it, they flew onto him, shredding his Espada outfit to pieces, almost. Though his enhanced Híerro rendered him unharmed, he did get a nasty cut by the right cheek from a rather large shard. As the cloud dispersed, Sakuyamon seemed both shocked and disappointed at the fact that her attack had done nothing. "Pfft! That's an attack?! MEANINGLESS!" Nnoitra mocked Sakuyamon, who frowned at the Espada's temper. "I am the strongest Espada in history! My Híerro is the strongest in all of Espada History! Nothing can cut through it! Not your puny shards, not my own Zanpakutõ, NOTHING! GOT IT?!? There is NOTHING that can defeat me! I am invincible!" Sakuyamon got tired of Nnoitra's boasting, and held her hand up. "You talk loud, but your actions say otherwise." she said aloud, and stood upwards, energy gleaming from her staff. "To me, you are but a mere brute who knows nothing but battle and carnage, fighting as if it were your daily basis, which I already would have presumed it is. You are pathetic, "Nnoitra". For you do not have a reason to fight. No purpose. No goal. Only battle awaken your true appearance; a monster. An animal. You are weak, because of your inability to see a true purpose in battle." she finished by aiming her staff at Nnoitra. "This is the end." however, Nnoitra's memories about the Former 3rd Espada's - Neliel Tu Oderschvank's - exact same words to him when he was the 8th Espada were now hammering his skull, and this made him grow furious. "Shut up, Shut up, SHUT UP!!!" he yelled frantically, and stood up. "I AM THE STRONGEST! NO ONE IS MY EQUAL, AND NO ONE IS STRONGER THAN ME!" he opened his mouth, and a small, golden sphere charged at the tip of his tongue. Sakuyamon sensed danger, and drove her staff into the ground. "Too late! Say goodnight, creature!" Nnoitra laughed a bit, as the sphere was now gathering alot of energy. Then, Nnoitra unleashed a gigantic, golden beam of that energy from his tongue, and the wide blast was sent towards Sakuyamon, as it engulfed her and a large area behind her, destroying about a quarter of the forest they were in. After the blast of energy, Nnoitra was panting a bit. "Heh...heh...that...showed them!" he smirked, but then, he saw something in the smoke and debree that made his eye open wide. "W-What?!" "Talisman Sphere." Sakuyamon said calmly, being surrounded by a crystal barrier. It had protected her from Nnoitra's Cero, and also a small area of forest behind this sphere. The shield lifted, and Sakuyamon once again aimed her staff against the Espada. "Now, you would better surrender." Nnoitra simply chuckled, and was about to attack Sakuyamon once again, but then, a dark fire burned around him, and a portal was engulfing him. "W-What?!? NO! I REFUSE TO BE TAKEN BACK!!" Nnoitra yelled and struggled from being devoured by the portal, but his struggle proved to be of no use, as the dark flames engulfed him more and more. He looked at Sakuyamon with a death glare in his eye. "SAVOR THE MOMENT WHILE YOU CAN, FOX B!TCH!! THIS WON'T BE THE LAST YOU SEE OF ME; NNOITRA JIRUGA!! MARK! MY! WORDS!" and with that, he was taken back to the Negative Dimension, cursing and swearing echoing as he disappeared. With this, Sakuyamon was panting heavily of exhaustion, and reverted back to Rika and Renamon. Renamon's wounds were still there, and she fell down on the ground, bleeding heavily. "Renamon?! Renamon!" Rika bent down to Renamon and tried to shake her awake. "Renamon, please wake up! D-Don't die on me!" she feared that the days of Renamon were counted, at last. She was too injured to even speak, and Rika was worried to death. She cried slowly, and hugged Renamon. "Please...don't leave me now..." she begged, and hugged her Digimon's body tightly. Then, a voice was heard, followed by a hand on her shoulder; "Don't worry, kiddo. She ain't dead." Rika looked around, and saw a woman. She was dressed in an orange sweater with a beige scarf on her neck, and under her sweater she wore a full-body ninja outfit with beige leg-warmers on the ankles. Her skin was colored brown, and her eyes gleaming with a yellow, feline color. Her purple hair was strapped up in a ponytail. "N-Not dead?" Rika gasped. "Nope." the woman said. "I sense it from her Reiatsu. She ain't dead, or her Reiatsu should have been gone now. Now, help me take her to my refuge around here, and I'll explain who that creep was." Rika didn't know if she could trust this woman, after having been assaulted by Nnoitra. She could be lying, and be as an agent for him. But then again, she seemed friendly enough, and Rika decided to take a shot. She nodded, and with that, both of them gently lifted up Renamon, and the woman took the lead, as they walked deeper into the forest. "By the way, my name is Yoruichi Shihõin." To be continued...

Chapter 7 - The Regulants, Part 3 - Deceit & Hatred "WHY THE HELL DID YOU BRING ME BACK?!?!" Nnoitra spat into Fredrik's face as he grabbed him by the collar and pushed him up a wall, with him struggling to get free. "I was fighting the strongest opponent I've yet faced, and you bring me away from the fight?! How dare you fuckin' insult me?!" "Nnoitra, for god's sake! I didn't do it!" gasped Fredrik, as he managed to squirm out of Nnoitra's grasp and landed on the floor, standing on all fours to support himself. Nnoitra was only annoyed that he had been robbed of a good fight, and frowned at Fredrik as he swung his Zanpakutõ onto his shoulders and spat on the ground in front of Fredrik as he walked off. Quint was soon walking by Fredrik. He just shrugged and walked on, but the one accompanying Quint stopped for awhile, while looking in the direction Quint walked in. Ulquiorra Cifer - The 4th Espada - looked down at Fredrik. "What a waste..." he said, as Fredrik got up, struggling as he did so. "You claim that you are strong, yet you cannot control your very own subordenants. It is a sign of weakness. You should be lucky that Quint shows you mercy...or else he had ordered me to kill you. You care too much about your "emotions"..." with this, he walked off, joining up with Quint. Fredrik simply grunted, and walked off to meet up with one of his other Espada Servants. "Szayel, you better have some good news..." he muttered to himself. It seemed as when Yylfordt had been reqruited to Quint's personal agenda, he requested that his younger brother - Szayel Aporro Granz - was to be taken in as well. Quint had granted that request, but had given him in Fredrik's command, stating he didn't need a "useless scientist". He could take care of himself, he said. As Fredrik went inside a room, he noted that it was completely dark, expect of a few blue dots that were computer screens flickering with data and encrypted codes. The door closed, leaving Fredrik in complete darkness. But then, a blue light lit up in front of him, showing a man sitting near a set of computers. "Szayel...I see that you are busy working." Fredrik said casually. The man turned around on his chair. He had pink, shoulder-long hair, and a set of glasses over his amber eyes, the frames being a part of his Hollow Mask remains. His suit consisted of a long shirt that covered all of the skin up to the top of his neck. On his hands, he wore white gloves. He wore the regular pants, with slight length taken away, making them shorter than usual pants. His lips formed a smile. "Ah, Master." he said with a flamboyant voice, standing up and looking at Fredrik with a calm, composed look. "I see that we had a pleasant visit to our opponents, no?" he indicated Fredrik's scar on his cheek, which had been caused by Renamon's kick to his face. "No matter, I am almost done here, and when I am, you shall receive a healing serum." "I can grab one myself." Fredrik said, as Szayel merely shrugged and sat down at his computers, analyzing data codes and old recordings. Fredrik walked over to a freezer, where he found several vials with differently colored liquids. He took one with a purple liquid, and opened it up. Even with the temperature of the freezer, the containment was still liquid, as he drank it all with a slight grimace of disgust. His wound glowed purple, then disappeared. "Anyhow, you wanted to see me?" "Quite." Szayel replied, and clicked on a button at his keyboard, as a screen with Renji showed up. Fredrik observed him, as he was holding something similar to a giant bone snake with a red mane and skeletal skull. This was Renji's Bankai; Hihiõ Zabimaru. Szayel has been able to study it since the Arrancars invaded the Human Realm, the attackers being the 6th Espada Grimmjow Jaegerjaques and his Fraccíon, with Yylfordt as one of them. He was obliterated by Renji's Bankai, but somehow resurrected since Broken was able to summon him on Quint's request. "See, since that fight my brother went through, I've been able to analyze not only this fellow's Bankai and abilities, but also that of another Shinigami that attacked Grimmjow's other Fraccíon, Shawlong Qufang." the screen now changed to Toushiro, as he was encased with something that looked like an ice dragon armor, with wings on his back and three lotus flowers made of talismans behind him. This was also a Bankai; Toushiro's Daiguren Hyõrinmaru. "That would be thanks to my Memory Spirit Bugs infesting not only Renji, but the 10th Captain as well. After a few investigations, it would seem that I was able to analyze his data as well, and then I found out that Baraggan's Fraccíon had fought a series of Shinigami in the Fake Kakakura town, I decided to send some of them there as well, and instantly found these two." he pressed another button, and two familiar Shinigamis - Ikkaku Madarame and Yumichika Ayasegawa - were visible. "Seems as you've been more busy than the Manga and Anime said..." Fredrik muttered silently for himself. Having seen a few episodes of Bleach himself, he knew that Szayel had no doing during the Fake Kakakura Town Arc, but somehow, Broken had managed to warp the entire franchise of it, seeing that Szayel had managed to analyze these two. Anyway, he kept it for himself, seeing that Szayel might had been confused at the fact that he was a mere fictional character. "So, did you manage to get Ichigo Kurosaki's data?" he asked from mere curiosity. Szayel had a smirk on his lips. "Why, I was about to show you!" he said, and pressed a button, as a picture of Ichigo running inside Las Noches with Nel tugged to his arm was shown. "After his battle with the Pivardon Espada Dordonii, I managed to infect him as well, and his data was analyzed." then, there was an alarm heard. "Now, I think that my collegue - Nexev - wants us to see something. We have a little...present for you all." he stood up, and walked off to the exit of his room. Fredrik slowly took some time to absorb all this information. How could Szayel have analyzed all of these Shinigami's Data? He was not even alive while Baraggan, Harribel and Starrk attacked Kakakura Town, and he did never analyze Toushiro's Data while Grimmjow's Fraccíons attacked the Human Realm. How could he have done all this? No matter, Nexev was showing something, and it was considered unpolite to not answer to a higher Regulant's request. Sighing, he stood up and walked off with Szayel, hoping that whatever Nexev had planned now would prove useful for their quest. ~~~~~~~~~~ As Fredrik and Szayel entered Nexev's laboratory, they saw that Quint, Kevin and Broken were already there. As he and Szayel stood beside Kevin - who smiled at Fredrik - Nexev stepped up before them, his smirk being wider than usual. "Dear colleagues!" he announced, Quint rolling his eyes at his dramatic entrance. "I have great news that I would like to announce. Now, I would first like to thank Szayel Aporro Granz, for being a grand Co-Worker in this project..." the other Regulants made faint applaudes as Szayel went up to Nexev and made some bows. "...for his knowledge about a new enemy will prove to be most valuable in the fights yet to come. See, Szayel here has been able to grant me acsess to many data sources of these enemies, and with my intellect, I've been able to create our ultimate weapon in terms of deception and to cause the Union to focus on the new enemy while we will be able to destroy them with ease! BEHOLD!" he snapped his fingers, and in a flash, five figures appeared. Fredrik gasped as he saw the shapes of Abarai Renji, Yumichika Ayasegawa, Ikkaku Madarame, Toushiro Hitsugaya, and Kurosaki Ichigo were in front of them. "W-What the...?!" he managed to say, as he saw the Shinigamis stand in front of them. Was this what Szayel meant with Nexev's "present"? But it was impossible! "It can't be possible! Szayel was not present when the Kakakura Town was invaded! How could he have been analyzing Yumichika and Ikkaku if he was not able to send his Memory Spirit Bugs?! He was KILLED by Mayuri Kurotsuchi!" at this, Broken rose from his seat. "That would be because of me." he said with a smirk in his dark flames. "You see, I am not only able to revive fallen persons, but I am also able to grant them insight into far more than what they experienced before they died, and with Nexev tipping me off on what to give them insight to, Szayel was able to see almost every event that had occured in his life...and even after it." Szayel nodded. "It is with great pride I thank you, oh Great Broken." he said with a smirk, and turned to the other Regulants. "For now, my perfections are complete! These Shinigamis are the symbol of my perfection as a scientist! With Nexev's aid, I was able to fulfill my goals at last, and I now swell with pride of what I have accomplished! I think that this is a time to cherish and celebrate, for with these puppets at my command, I can easily manipulate the Union into attacking our adversaries, which are the Shinigami themselves!" he laughed slightly, and both Nexev and Broken shared a smirk on their lips. Their plot could now go undisturbed as they were closing the fist of conquest tightly around their sword of victory. ~~~~~~~~~~ Meanwhile, back in the Real Realm, Rika and Yoruichi made it to Yoruichi's refuge in the forest, with Renamon still being wounded. Yoruichi had found some thick blades to stem the bleeding with. The refuge - as she called it - was in fact a small hut made of wood. As they entered it, Rika saw that the decorations were simple; a single lamp in the roof, a bed, and a small desk. On the walls hanged knives, daggers, and several dried herbs. Yoruichi signaled for Rika to lay Renamon on the bed, and she followed her orders, gently putting down Renamon. This caused her to groan slightly as she opened one eye to see Rika. "R-R-Rika......" she said with a faint smile, and this brought a tear to Rika's eyes. "Y-You're ok..." "I am Renamon..." Rika said, and held Renamon's head gently. "I will never leave you, Renamon. Not if you're wounded, not even if you're close to dying. I will always be here for you, Renamon, because you're my partner, and we will stick together, no matter what. You're......you're my closest friend, Renamon. Remember that...always...I will protect you." at this, she hugged Renamon gently before letting go, and let her lie down on the bed. Renamon did so, and closed her eyes. Rika stood up, and looked at Yoruichi. "I-I need some fresh air..." she said, and went outside. As she closed the door, she looked up. The stars were out, and they glittered brightly in the night sky. Rika smiled at these little lights, and sat down on the porch of Yoruichi's hut. "They are so...beautiful..." she sighed happily. Suddenly, she heard a slight meow, and looked to her left side, and saw a black cat stroll around on the porch fence. Smiling, she stood up and went over to the cat. "Hi, little fella! How did you get here?" she giggled, and scratched at the cat's ears, which made it purr gently. "Oooh, that's the spot..." the cat suddenly said, and Rika stood away a bit in shock. The cat then chuckled. "Heh, sorry to scare ya toots, it's just that I prefer this form at night." "W-Who are you?" Rika asked. "Eeh, didn't I tell you my name? It's me! Yoruichi!" the cat answered. Rika nodded slowly, and sat down again. "Eh, what's wrong, kiddo?" "It's just that..." Rika sighed. "I feel sort of guilty for some things that have happened...and I can't seem to shake them off my mind..." Yoruichi nodded, and jumped down to Rika. "I see. Well, I can't really tell you to do this, but I usually don't let my emotions cross my head when I got things to focus on. And believe me, I got TONS of things to focus on then I am in action!" "Really?" "Yeah, toots. As an assassin, ya gotta plan every move." "You're an assassin?" "Yep. Or...used to be. Now, I just like hangin' around here, sorta retired, ya know?" Yoruichi smiled, and went up to Rika, nuzzling her side. "Hey babe, ya don't need to be all worked up now. Your partner is ok and all, and you two are safe here with me!" "Yeah. Thanks, Yoruichi." Rika smiled and patted her head, as she purred in delight. "Mmmmm, no prob...." she purred. "Now, I think that I'll leave ya here for awhile, so I can start makin' some potion or something." in a flash, she reverted to her human form - with clothes and all - and went inside. Rika sat down at the porch again, and sighed as she looked at the stars again. Then, she noticed something gleam in the grass in front of her as a shine caught her gaze. Curious about what it was, she went up to it to pick it up. It turned out to be some sort of short staff, about ten inches or so. It was made of pure, white ivory, and had golden rings between each two inches. On one end hung a tassel of golden silk strings, and on the othed end - seemingly the tip - was a crecent moon in silver. She wondered what it was, but had no time to wonder, as she yawned slightly, and went up to the hut again. Before she went inside, the thought something; "I wish that all of this could...begin anew. A new Union......a new Leader..." she thought for herself, and with this done, she went inside to ask Yoruichi if there was a chance to sleep somewhere. Unaware to her - outside the hut - the stars in the sky started to slowly move, until they shaped the same crescent mood that the staff had on its tip, while the moonlight caught its faint light upon Yoruichi's hut. Another Prophecy was about to begin...... To be continued...

Nexev
Seems really well written. Nexev was never recognized by Fredrik and he seemed also to take orders from Broken. Strange thing is that Broken's bio indicates that the Regulator's were Nexev's idea. Since the bio's and the prologue don't seem to perfectly match up you might wantto make a bit of edits her and there. I am deeply impressed though the personalities of each character are portrayed rather well (with the exception of Broken appearing to be like Satan). The minion's aren't very creative or diverse (you just got a large amount of Arrancar from what I can tell) since this is just the beginning however this makes sense. It would however make even more sense if Nexev commented on this (since this is the stuff I usually criticize). All in all this is very good. Rag: The epilouge of book one was after a 6 year time skip. Technically this is still just after book 1.
Fallen Hero
I'm happy it's started and i agree with the things Nexev has pointed out but it's the beginning, things will change as the story goes along.
The Warden
Wow, I never knew that I was pure evil until I read this chapter, go figure. I know I can be an evil-hearted SOB, but DAMN Kuja, that was almost too painful to read. Oh yeah, I like my theme...I think. Also, I wrote my bio before I saw yours, so we can edit to make it fit

.:Abarai Renji:.
Chapter 8 – Yoruichi's Training The sun began to slowly rise over the lands, as it reached Yoruichi's small hut at last. The rays entered the only window, and revealed a sleeping Renamon, who had her chest tied up in alot of bandages, stains of dark red blood being visible. The sun irritated her eyes, and she slowly woke up, and looked around for awhile, her eyes quickly getting used to the surroundings as she saw Yoruichi sit near a table close to the window. ”W-Where am I?” she asked her, rubbing her head. Yoruichi smiled gently at Renamon. ”You're in my home, where else would ya be?” she asked with an as-a-matter-of-factly tone. ”Now, I think you better drink this, so you can get better soon enough.” Yoruichi handed Renamon a glass filled with something that resembled a green liquid, and it looked slightly illuminating in the sunlight. Renamon was a little sceptic, as she raised an eyebrow when the received it. "Drink it." Yoruichi repeated. Renamon did as told, and drank a bit of it, but immidiently spat it out. "Ack! What the hell was that?!" she gagged, as she felt that her throat was burning and her tongue had the growse aftertaste of vomit & rotten fruit. "It's poison!" "Far from." Yoruichi said sternly. "It's a Regeneration Potion. Home-made, of course, as I don't really have a large lab like Mayuri, but I guess this have to do." she looked at Renamon with a kind look on her face, but a stern, neutral frown on her lips. "Drink it. You'll feel better." Renamon sighed, held her nose, and drank the rest of the content. After she's done so, she felt a burning feeling in her chest, but it soon faded after a few seconds. After this, Renamon looked at her chest to see that her wounds were gone. Some of the larger were still glowing in some sort of green color, but they slowly vanished as well. "W-What the..." Renamon was amazed, confused and relieved all at once, looking at Yoruichi. "W-What was that?" "Didn't I tell you?" she replied simply. "My own regeneration potion. And also a way to give you your first test. You see, that is a mix of some healing herbs I've found in the forest, plus your own Reiryoku and Reiatsu. Depending on the amount of both the energies you have in your body, the faster the wounds close up. And seeing that it went pretty fast, you must have excellent Reiryoku and Reiatsu. That is good, because you are going to need it." she stood up. "Now, you better get dressed with an outfit, and we'll get ready for your training..." "Training?" Renamon repeated, sitting up on the bed. Yoruichi nodded at this. "Indeed." she said. "You will need training if you want to be able to defend her. Your friend over there..." she pointed out the window, and Renamon looked out, seeing Rika sit under a tree, observing her staff. "You want to protect her from being harmed, right?" Yoruichi asked. Renamon nodded at this, and Yoruichi nodded back. "Right. Then you have to train under me, as I see that it is the only way to make you able to stand against an Espada attack, should you encounter another at some point. You see, Espadas are very powerful for their kind of beings, known as Arrancars. They are Hollows who have ripped their masks off in hopes of gaining the powers of a Shinigami, and turning to human shapes. The ten strongest of these are given the title of Espada, and as their numbers gets higher, the stronger are they. The one you two met yesterday - Nnoitra Jiruga - had the Espada Number 5, meaning that he is in the middle of their ranking. As you might have noticed, this didn't make him weaker, so never underestimate them for their numbers. Each Espada have a different power or advantage, which are all difficult to defeat. So I want you to be fully ready if you are to face any of them." she held up a black suit with a slight silver line going from the hip down to the left ankle, and a utility belt around the waist. "This will be your training suit. Are you sure you are ready?" Renamon looked at the suit for awhile, and nodded at Yoruichi, grabbing the suit as she put it on. "I am ready, Yoruichi." she said, finishing to put the suit on. "Just tell me what we start with, and I am ready." Yoruichi nodded, and went off to open the front door. "Oh..." she said, stopping. "Another thing I'd like to tell you. From Rika. She said that she will be gone for a few days, and that she will return at some point later. She wanted me to tell you about it. Now, let's go." she went outside. Renamon was concerned, and looked outside. She saw Rika standing up, and walk off, the staff clenched in her grasp and held to her chest as she too looked concerned. Renamon worried that she would be in some sort of danger, and hoped she'd be alright. With these thoughts in her head, she walked off with Yoruichi. ~~~~~~~~~~ After a few minutes of walking, Yoruichi came to a halt as she and Renamon stopped by a forest. Inside the forest, the woods were dense and the treetops formed some sort of green shield of leaves, almost completely blocking out all sunlight. Inside the woods were nothing but dark, and Renamon was slightly concerned how she and Yoruichi were suppose to train in there. "So, you still sure you want to train?" Yoruichi asked. Renamon snapped back to reality, and nodded slowly. "Good, good. Tell me; what do you fear the most?" Renamon was slightly confused at this question. What did she fear the most? Was it Yoruichi pointing out that she looked concerned in the face of darkness? Or did she really mean what she asked? Renamon decided to choose the latter. "Well..." she sighed. "I am really afraid of losing Rika. She is sort of everything I have, both as a Tamer and a friend. If I would lose her, then I'd be truly alone, and I don't want to be alone. I guess that is what I am afraid of." "I see." nodded Yoruichi. "Well, sometimes, you have to put your fears aside, you know, and focus on all other things around you. Such as the battlefield you are in. You can't go all worrying about your friends if you are about to be beheaded, or slashed by a beast. You have to find focus. A way to overcome these fears. Or at least brush them aside for the moment. For when you are in a battle, that is all that matters. Got it?" Yoruichi's tone had changed to a firm, confident one now, and she was looking directly at Renamon as she spoke. Renamon was slightly intimidated, but kept her cool and nodded slowly. She never thought that Yoruichi would be so full of the battlefield's knowledges and wisdom. "Yeah, I understand. I will try to keep them at bay." she said with a confident tone. Yoruichi nodded, and was preparing to jump. "Ok, one more thing;" she said. "Once we enter here, there will be an all means neccesary battle. Everything is allowed in this training session, even playing dirty. So, incase you are wondering why I am saying this, it is because I want you to go all out with your abilities, and show me what you got. But always be ready to learn new things, as I may show you a thing I will teach you later. Ok?" Yoruichi seemed so confident in the thought of playing dirty in this training session, and Renamon did not want to disappoint her. She nodded assuringly, and cracked her fists a bit. ”Okay then.” she said. Yoruichi smirked a bit. "Why is that smirk on your face?" "Oh, no reason really." Yoruichi smirked. "Now, once we enter, make sure you're ready for anything, and I mean it. Got it memorized?" Renamon nodded, and with this, both of them were about to leap off. What they didn't notice at the moment was that someone was watching them, with hearts around his head. This happened to be Fredrik, and he was now in a "world of his own". "Aaaahhhh...." he sighed deeply and happily. "How I'd long to have that Rena chick in my arms, kissin' her and... probably bang her too, hehe! Bet she has D's too..." as he continued to fantasize his perverted dreams of absolute censorship due to this Fic's age restriction, he forgot about his follower at the moment - the 7th Espada Zommari Leroux - who seemed to be a little or not disturbed of his master's thoughts. "To let such things have rule of your mind..." he merely stated. "...You should be ashamed of yourself." "Zip it, Zommari." Fredrik said shortly, and continued to dream away. "As you wish, Master." Zommari sighed slightly. Suddenly, Fredrik looked up, and saw that he had been discovered, as Yoruichi was heading up to their hiding spot. "Oh crap! What are we gonna do now?!" Fredrik frantically muttered, not knowing what to do. Zommari was of course ready to battle, but then, a light engulfed him and Fredrik, as they disappeared along with a small drone of some sort. Fredrik saw he was somehow inside the drone, and in front of him was Nexev. "Gee, thanks Nex'! Ya saved me there!" "Do not mention it, it was the last I could do for a fellow Regulant, Fredrik." Nexev said simply, and helped Fredrik up. "Wait a sec here..." Fredrik started, but was cut short by Nexev; "I was here for scientific matters only, thank you for asking. I've been analyzing the areas around here for our master Broken, so he will have a recognization of the enviroment we're battling in. Oh, and by the way..." he passed Fredrik a pair of binoculars and a video camera. "Be more careful next time." ~~~~~~~~~~ After Renamon and Yoruichi had confirmed that nothing was peeking on them, and they had headed off into the forest, Renamon was leaping from branch to branch, but soon realized that Yoruichi had disappeared from her eyesight. She could not see her, wherever she looked. She figured that Yoruichi had disappeared or something, or she was just too fast for Renamon to see. She had to be aware now, as Yoruichi had told her; everything was allowed. She halted for a bit, and figured that it would be better if she could figure out where Yoruichi had went first, and then figure out a way to confront her. She stopped to look around the forest, but the dense leaves and branches made it almost impossible to look somewhere. She tried to listen really carefully, but something was disturbing her focus. She couldn't stop listening to the wind, the birds, all around her. There was something that she had to listen to instead; the things she could not hear. Focusing really hard, she tried her best to try and listen for something, but it came to no prevail. "Man, this is hard..." she sighed for herself, and looked around her surrounding. There were alot of narrow spaces in the branch maze, but it was enough for her to have an escape route. "That Yoruichi didn't joke with me when she said it was gonna be tough. Now I have to be extra cautious if an attack comes up. Wonder if..." her thoughts drifted off easily when she was along, and in this moment, she came to look down on her body, dressed in the tight suit she's been given. "Well, hehe, I do look sexy in this." she smirked for herself, and looked down around her thighs and hips, which seemed to be slimmer in this outfit. "Man, that Yoruichi sure knows about the clothes I wanna have! I'm gonna aske her if I can borrow this for... maybe a couple of months!" she giggled childishly for herself a bit. But then, she heard something break through the silence, as two object went through the woods. Renamon back-flipped just in time as two daggers hooked into the branch she once stood on. She was now under attack. "Gosh, you make women have bad reputation!" a voice said, and two more daggers flew from behind Renamon without her knowing it. She managed to barely dodge them, but one of them scratched her shoulder a bit, as a small string of blood flowed from the wound. She landed on yet another branch, looking frantically around herself to see where the next attack could come from. Another pair were thrown her way, and she flipped into the air, but as she was in mid-air, a shadow flimmered past her, and she received a kick into the gut, which made her gag and lose focus in the air, crashing down on a branch she was supposed to land on. She held her stomach as she growled in pain, and sat up slightly. "D-Damn it...there's no way I can beat her like this..." she gasped for air, and much precisely, someone stood in front of her. It was Yoruichi. She held a dagger to Renamon's throat. "Did I not tell you to focus on the battle, and nothing else?" she said sternly, looking down on Renamon with a serious look plastered of her face. "Renamon, I was going to make this training last a little longer for the sake of being nice, but your addiction to your own body is just too primitive. I call it the day for now." she sheathed the dagger, and walked off. Renamon - of course being insulted in some way - stood up on her feet and charged at Yoruichi from behind. "Hey! I can still fight!" she shouted, and punched at Yoruichi. But as her fist connected with Yoruichi's back, she seemed to fade, and then disappear. Then, Renamon felt a chop on the neck, as she gasped and fell down on the branch again. Yoruichi was now behind her. "I said, that's enough." she repeated, and walked over to Renamon, helping her up. "Unless you can convince me that we should continue now, I call it quits." Renamon stood up on her feet, her height rivaling to overpass Yoruichi's. "Yoruichi, I want you to know that I won't stop training until I am fully ready to defend myself and Rika when one of those "Arrancars" show up again." Renamon said sternly. Yoruichi didn't seem convinced. ”Yoruichi, please... let me train more... I know I am too primitive in the thoughts of my body, but I can restrain it! Just give me some more time. Please... All I've ever wanted is to protect Rika from danger, ever since I met her as a Viximon. She was so kind... and gentle. She did everything for me. Anything I asked for. And I never repaid her enough... but now, if I train with you, then I can. I can repay her by defending her with all my heart and mind. I never, ever want to see her hurt... and ever since she's been all depressed like this, I fear that she may... not care if... she die...” Renamon could not hold it in. Her care and love for Rika was clearly showing as tears were streaming down her cheeks and landing on the branch they stood on. All her life, she has devoted herself to Rika's protection, and if she would die now... it would be all for nothing. Yoruichi nodded, and held Renamon's shoulder. ”Ok then, that's enough.” she said calmly, stroking Renamon's cheek. She looked at Yoruichi, still a bit tear-eyed. ”I said it's enough.” Yoruichi wiped off a tear from Renamon's face. ”Ok?” ”O-Ok...” Renamon sighed. ”Sorry, Yoruichi... I guess that my emotions were too strong.” ”It's ok.” Yoruichi said. ”For I felt the same way... for a very special girl... when she and me were about Rika's age. Her name was Soifon. She and I trained alot together, but one day, I had to leave her. She thought I hated her and leaved her, but truly, I never had those intentions. She still thinks I left her behind, but she will always have a place in my heart.” Yoruichi held her chest proudly. ”So you see, Renamon; You're not the only one fighting for someone close to you. Now, if you want to... we'll be back to training.” Renamon smirked and nodded, and cracked her neck. ”Let's go melee from here!” she suggested. ”Keh, sounds good to me!” Yoruichi smirked, and charged Renamon, who instantly punched at her, but was blocked by Yoruichi's foot. Positioned so she was standing on Renamon's arm and having her other leg over her head, Yoruichi brought it down to kick Renamon's head, but she took her other arm to block the attack as well. She then grabbed Yoruichi's chest with both paws in the blink of an eye, and pummeled her into a tree trunk. Yoruichi was now upside-down, but managed to move so she kicked at Renamon's chest area, making her dodge and jump back. Yoruichi was now free again. ”You're not bad, Yoruichi.” Renamon growled lightly, and charged Yoruichi anew, kicking at her. Yoruichi brought up her hand to block the attack, but as she did this, Renamon jumped off her hand and managed to land behind her, kicking her back. Yoruichi was quick to return a blow in Renamon's side. ”Same goes for you, Rena-Chan.” she smirked back. Renamon frowned a bit. She didn't like when someone called her ”girl”, as she felt she was a mature lady. Slightly infuriated, she charged Yoruichi anew. She was punching and kicking at her, but no matter how many times she threw a punch or kick at Yoruichi, she simply dodged or parried it. And as Renamon tried to slide-kick her, she leaped over her and kicked her head, as she flew into a tree trunk head-first. "Heh, is that all you got, Renamon?" "Far from, but you're damn fast!" Renamon complained. Yoruichi simply smirked at this. "It's a skill named Shunpo. Or Flash Step, if that's easier." she said. "Every Shinigami knows it, and it's quite handy in a battle. You see, the main purpose with Shunpo is to get from one spot..." Yoruichi disappeared in front of Renamon, and reappeared behind her. "...to another, in the least amount of steps." Renamon jumped a bit, but looked behind her to see Yoruichi. "I see." she said, a bit startled. "Well, that could prove useful! How do I learn it?" "By training." Yoruichi said simply. "I trained hard and long to achieve my level of Shunpo, and now, I am almost invisible when running with Shunpo. If you train as hard as me for a few days, Renamon, you should be able to learn all ya need about Shunpo, Kido... and finally, the Shunko." "Shunko?" asked Renamon with a confused tone. Yoruichi nodded at her. "Also called the "Flash Cry" ability, it releases alot of Reiatsu into your body, enhancing it and making you stronger and faster. My Shunko is fully developed, and thus allows me to even stop time for my opponents, making them freeze in the air for a short moment before they resume moving. It is also extremely powerful when it comes to offensive powers, and can destroy a large area if you're not careful with it. You understand me?" she asked. Renamon absorbed the info, and nodded awhile. "Good. Now then, let us resume!" Renamon cracked her knuckles. "I wouldn't have it any other way, Yoruichi-Sama..." =Later= Renamon was lying in bed, having bruises and bandages all over her body. She was groaning and moaning in pain, as she struggled to drink the potion glasses Yoruichi handed her in a constant stream. She smirked as Renamon drank her possibly 12th one. "I told you that we should had quit a long time ago, Rena-Chan." she said, and stood up. "But, hehe, I underestimated your stubborness. You are certainly of warrior quality, but you need to be more fast with your reflexes." Renamon grunted something unaudiable. "What was that?" "I said..." groaned Renamon, as she made a grimace while swallowing the rest of her potion. "That it is damn hard to keep up when you're runnin' around all the time." Yoruichi simply chuckled at this. "Don't worry, Rena-Chan. If you train enough with me, you'll be able to run that fast as well, so don't worry. You'll have your time to shine soon." she said, and stood up, walking to the window. She looked outside, and smiled a bit. "You know... your Tamer has been through alot with you by her side." "Really?" Renamon said. "How do you know?" "Well, as I said, I talked to her earlier, and she told me what you two had been doing." Yoruichi said simply. "And she is pretty brave, I tell ya. She is just too scared to show her courage. You know how something happening in your life can make you feel sort of helpless? Well, that is what she is going through right now. The death of not only that Lee fella, but Ben and her leader Kakashi as well. She is in shock, I would say, of all these events that has occured. Rika... she is a nice girl. And you should be happy to have her as a Tamer. Now, I want you to promise, not only me, but yourself a thing, Rena. Never leave Rika, and take care of her. 'Kay?" Renamon was now more shocked than ever. Rika had been in pain all this time, and she didn't tell her? How cruel she must of been. But now, there was nothing to do against past events, so she had to make up for them here and now. She nodded firmly. "I promise." "Good, good. Now, you rest up, and we'll start training as soon as your wounds are healed." Yoruichi stated, and went outside. Renamon slowly laid down, and fell asleep. To be continued...
Chapter 9 – The Moon Priestess Nonaka Rika had now been walking for quite awhile, and she decided it was time to rest for awhile and regain her strenght. She laid down near a tree, that was growing next to a lake, and looked out at the shimmering water. She sighed deeply, and held the staff she had found close to her chest. After all these things happening, she finally felt that she could relax, and calm down her frustrated heart. She closed her eyes as she leaned to the tree, thinking of what to do next as she listened to the breeze in the trees. She felt like all her problems were finally over, for once, but her thoughts were still on how she and Renamon would make it without the Union. They would not make it, she thought. That they would only be as miserable as Rika herself was. "Who am I trying to fool?" she asked herself, looking up at the tree-top as she saw the leaves in it move with the winds. "We can't leave the Union. They are counting on us. I mean... it's not like they could not do fine without us... but against the Regulants, they'd be dead in a flash. But I need to find a way to make myself stronger somehow. But how?" she looked at the staff for awhile, spinning it in the air between her fingers before taking it down to her face again, so she got a good look on it. "Hmm... I wonder what this staff is really for?" she asked herself. "Maybe it's a weapon? No, it's too small, and even if it was, there's not real way of using it, as far as I can see it..." she tried everything. Searching for hidden buttons, handles, and everything. She even tried to break it against a rock, but to no prevail, as it seemed that the staff was indestructable. "Gosh, that is a hard staff!" Rika said. As she was about to sit down again, a voice was heard, but no one was near. Rika Nonaka... you have picked up my ancient weapon to wield as your own, but your human lineage will not allow you to unlock its potential. Allow me to enable you a way for unlocking it. Tread lightly though, as my path will be the difficult one, but will lead you to the right track, eventually. Now, I will raise my temple from this lake, and you will enter it to find my resting place, where I will give you a way to unlock my weapon's powers. Now go, Rika Nonaka... As on command, the ground began to shake violently around the lake area, and Rika was almost knocked to the ground as she temporarily lost balance for awhile, leaning to the tree near her to regain it. The water in the lake's surface seemed to boil violently as something that looked like a spire with a crescent moon on it rose from it, followed by a oval-shaped roof of some sort, then pillars of gleaming white, and before Rika knew it, a huge temple was floating on the lake's surface in front of her. Rika held her mouth as a gasp slipped past her lips, amazed of the structure in front of her. "H-How the... how the hell did that happen?!" Rika asked herself in amazement and denial at the same time. "H-How long has that been there? And what's inside it...? Wait a second... that voice... said that he was inside there... and that this..." she held up the staff again. "...was a weapon? But how? No matter, if I find him, then I will be able to know what is what!" she nodded firmly for herself, and with slow steps, she marched onto the temple grounds, her boots making clinking sounds as they stepped on the excuisitive tiles. She looked up at the tower-like building once more, a little bit of hesitation in her glance, but she nodded firmly, and stepped inside the temple entrance. ~~~~~~~~~~ Everything was black as Rika stepped inside the temple, but she was able to see herself at least, as she looked at her hand, and it was visible for her. Holding the staff closer to her for some reason, as she seemed a bit scared of being inside here. But soon enough, she saw her relief in front of her, as a light was visible. She was getting closer and closer to it, until she finally reached it, and stepped into it. The light blinded her a bit, but she was able to see two paths, both seemingly leading to one and the same ending. Now Rika, you must choose one of these paths. One will lead to a short path to my shrine, but there will be a painful test which only the strongest survive, both physically and mentally, while the other path is long and painless, except that path will be so long because of your choice being the weak and painless one, that it will be almost impossible to take. If you do take the short one, know that the test will be most unpleasant. Rika knew what this was for some kind of 'game'. She had seen it on alot of classic games and T.V shows. It was the classic choice between a short but painful path, or a long and safe one. Normally, Rika had taken the bet and went for the long one, but in this case, she was hesitating, sort of. What if she chose the long path? Then she'd maybe be trapped in this temple forever, not knowing a way back. So this time, she decided to take pain before comfort, and took the right one. This proved to be the short one, at some point, as she soon could see the shrine ahead. "Keh, simple..." she shrugged. "That voice was probably making things u-!" Rika was about to finish her sentence, when she suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder. She gasped slightly and turned around to see who it was, and she didn't believe her eyes as she saw who it was; it was Ben Tennyson, and he looked as healthy as ever. "B-Ben...?" "Yeah Rika, my eternal grace..." he said in a charmful tone, smiling at her. "It is me, your knight in shining alien armor. I hope I did not make you too worried when I blacked out." "B-Blacked out...? B-But you were... d-d-de..." Rika began to stammer, but Ben simply chuckled at this, and held Rika's shoulder. "Dead? Please Rika, little pumpkin, don't be silly. I am too tough to be beaten, you know that. As long as I got someone as gorgeous as you by my side, I am propelled to live on." Ben saw the fear in Rika's eyes, and planted a slow kiss on her cheek, which made her soften up a bit. "Please my beloved one, don't be scared. It's just me, your good ol' Benjamin Tennyson." "B-But..." Rika began, but Ben responded by holding her hands with on of his and putting his other hand's index finger over her lips. "Husssh..." he cooed, and kissed along Rika's neck, which made her moan and smile in pleasure. "We're together again... that's all that matters..." Rika didn't know what it was in Ben's voice that made her listen, but it was as if she was compelled to listen... bound to be with him. She smiled at Ben with a sort of forced smile, and with a small movement, she made it closer to his lips, and she gave him a kiss, which Ben soon returned. "Mmmhhhh... your mouth is as soft as always... your tongue is so tasty... and you are absolutely gorgeous..." "I am... gorgeous..." Rika said, as if in trance. Ben grinned at this, and continued kissing Rika, now caressing her hips. "And you are more worth than the other Union members..." he said, slowly moving to her ass. "I am... more worth... than them..." "You will kill the others..." "I... I-I will... I will k-k-kill..." Rika stammered, but then, the trance she was in seemed to fade, and all was clear to her. She now saw Ben, standing in front of her with a blade as a left arm, prepared to stab Rika in the heart. Rika squealed in panic, and pushed Ben away from her as she pulled up her staff and gave him a hard bash on the head. "G-GET AWAY FROM ME!! YOU'RE NOT BEN!!!" she cried out. She saw that the hit had made Ben faint, and he just laid there, and a strange, gum-like sphere laid next to his mouth, colored pink and green. "B-Ben?" she said carefully, and went up to the dead body, poking it slightly. It was dead still. "W-What? H-He's still dead? Then how come...!" Ben's body was warped away in a light that appeared from seemingly nowhere, and Rika fell backwards in surprise, dropping her staff. What was that? Was that her test? In that case, it was certainly painful to see how Ben was alive again, but tried to KILL her. Rika fumbled for the staff, and got up, leaning to a wall with her eyes slightly teared. Whatever this was, it was a nightmare. Why did she have to endure this? It was a pain in her heart to see Ben trying and kill her, especially when he was dead, and technically could not do that. Rika, I do not know what happened there, but you must understand that there are alot of hard tests in the future. This is a mere glimpse of what you must face, Rika. Now, if you feel ready... then I shall open the inner sanctum of my resting place... the voice spoke again with its unclear serenity, and a passage opened before Rika. She glanced over to it, but felt dread and uncertainty claim her soul. What if there was another trap - worse than this 'surprise' - in there? Would it be a fatal one? Would she survive? Now that she got to think about it... she didn't care. She now realized the responsibility that she had. She was the one that the Union cared about the most, and because of this, she had to take Mileena's place as their leader. And it was never a good thing if the leader turned its back on his/her followers. But then again, she had to be brave at some point. Nodding to herself, she stepped into the passage opened in front of her, and when she didn't notice, a white light encased Ben's body, as he was transferred away by a small drone. ~~~~~~~~~~ Inside the Inner Sanctum, as it was called, all of the room's aspects were colored in either white or a perfect, sparkling blue. There were pillars of pure diamonds and a coffin in the center of the room, where the moonlight slipped through in a small hole on the opposite wall's top. Rika slowly pushed on, walking towards the coffin in the middle of the room. She felt a bit uneased as she was about to know what this mysterious voice was, but in the same time, eagerness welled up in her body to finally see this 'weapon' she's been told about. As she approached the coffin, the voice spoke anew, only that the voice was clearer. "Rika Nonaka." it said, as the voice echoed in the room. "You have finally found my shrine, and now, one last choice is to be made for you. First of all, you must know about my history. I am what people would call Lunar-Folk, or Moonarians. We were an ancient race that were created on the moon by the endless magical currents in space. Yes, young one, there is magic in space. That magic formed physical shapes and structures on the moon's blue side, thus creating us and making us adapted to live in space. However, we have always wanted to visit Earth, but somehow, our connection to the moon is too strong, and we cannot pass the Earth's atmosphere due to this bonding. We are a stranded race, Rika. We've been hungering and longing to find a new place for our offspring and relatives. We need your help to release us." Rika was having a nervous look about what they could possibly eat. "Oh, and don't worry, we've been so adapted to the moon, that we eat nothing more than minerals from rocks." Rika sighed in relief. "W-Well... what's this choice?" she asked. "That will be revealed later." said the voice. "Now, raise your staff into the moonlight." Rika did as instructed, and raised the staff up into the moonlit area of the room. Suddenly, the staff yanked itself out of her grasp, and levitated in front of her in a magical way, as it rotated slowly. Rika watched in amazement as she saw the staff being encased in a white, bright light, and suddenly started to change in shape and size. It was now about two and a half meter long, and its silver color was gleaming in the moonlight. The golden rings around the staff were still there, but the top and the bottom of the staff were changed. On the top, a golden crescent moon was gleaming with a clear sapphire in the middle, and the bottom had a sharp pincer at it. Rika was amazed at this, and her hand gently grasped the staff. In this moment, Rika was engulfed in a light, and her clothing changed in the bright light. She also felt like lines of fire were imprinted on her face and around her arms, as symbolic tattoos were written along her skin. They formed crescent moons around her eyes with small wing-like outgrowths covering her eyebrows, and on the arms were long, wave-like lines, all these tattoos colored in a bright teal. Her clothes were changed to a pair of white and golden shorts with the staff hanging from it in a thin chain, and her chest area was covered with a suit made of white clothing and silver armor covering her bosom and waist. Her entire left arm was encased in a thin, elegant silver armorpiece, and her other arm had silk strings of pearl-white hanging from it. As the light faded, her new outlook was complete, and she looked at herself in amazement, and also noticed her crimson hair was hanging down her head to her shoulders. "W-W-What is this?" she asked herself, looking at her new outfit. "You are the Chosen One, Rika Nonaka." the voice said anew, and this time, it originated from the sapphire on her staff. "You... are the Moon Priestess." "M-Moon Priestess?" Rika exclaimed, looking at herself with a certain hint of dread in her voice. "B-But I am not meant for this!! I-I can't be meant for it!" "But you are, Rika Nonaka. You see, we have chosen a Moon Priestess long ago, before our spirits were sealed to the Moon. But now, you have the ability to channel your energies to the astral barrier that blocks our world from yours, and free at least one of us from our confinement. We have the previous Priestess' spirit here, and if you are uncertain of your powers, she will be glad to help you, and also aid you with one of our ancestral weapons." the voice replied, calmer than ever. Rika thought about her situation for a moment, and thought about the advantages she could have. But then again, this power might come with a prize, and she was not sure about what it would be. When she thought about giving up this power, she came to think of Harry and Ron, who in this moment would seem powerless without a leader. Sighing, she nodded, and accepted her fate. "I am ready, spirit." she said, raising her staff. "Tell me what to do." "You don't need to do anything at this point, just hold the staff where it is now." said the spirit, and as the sapphire began to gleam, a giant rift in the time-space continuum was opened above them, and Rika was worried that this might cause a gigantic rupture explosion. But it never came. Instead, a blue spirit emerged from it, and the rift closed up. "W-Who is that?" asked Rika, and saw that the spirit was holding some sort of glaive-shaped weapon. "A-And what is that?" "The spirit's name is Rithela..." the voice in her staff said. "My once proud and beautiful lover... and the last Moon Priestess. The blade she holds is Kin Gatsu no Houchou - the Golden Moon Cleaver. This blade has cut down legions of our foes... and now we pass it to you... Moon Priestess..." the spirit of Rithela was now in front of Rika, with Kin Gatsu no Houchou in her right hand. It was indeed a glaive, formed in a crescent shape, but the back-blade was slightly longer and thicker than the front-blade, and a handle was placed near the middle, but was slightly more towards the front. It would seem that the wielder could use this position of the handle to move the back-blade in both offensive and defensive matters, both blocking and attacking opponents. The blade itself was golden and silver in color, with the blade edge being silver and pointed outwards, and the inner, golden part being ornated with runic shapes and teal emerald spheres in a line along the blade's curved shape. Rika was amazed at the blade's sharpness, and its elegant crafting would be rare these days. She nodded, and held the blade's handle. In a flash, the spirit of Rithela merged with Rika, and she gasped as her soul merged with the spirit. But in the same moment, her thoughts became clearer, and she saw the world in a new aspect. She had been gained the knowledge of the past Moon Priestess! "Now I see..." Rika spoke, but in a more mature tone, as she stood up and looked at her clothes, the staff in her left hand, and the glaive in her right hand. "Now I see what needs to be done..." and with this, she left the temple under silence. To be continued...
Chapter 10 – Sealing Darkness In only a few days, Renamon's training with Yoruichi became more and more intense, as Renamon had to straighten up and become a real warrior. She had soon mastered what martial art skills Yoruichi had to teach her, she had learned to control her Reiatsu pretty well and use a few simple Kidõ techniques, and her Shunpo level may have been the half of a regular Shinigami, but Yoruichi was impressed nevertheless. This day, they were training as usual. Renamon had not learnt the Shunko yet, and it was this that Yoruichi had pressed her extra hard for these days. Renamon and Yoruichi were in this moment sparring. "You got to keep up more, Rena! Focus!" Yoruichi stated, as she ran behind Renamon with her Shunpo, and prepared to kick her. But Renamon span around, and was about to make her heel connect with Yoruichi's face, but she blocked it with her hand, clutching around Renamon's heel and lifting herself upwards, kicking at Renamon's head. She dodged and flipped backwards, landing away from Yoruichi. "You've gotten faster reflexes, Rena!" she complimented the Kitsune Digimon. Renamon smirked as she stood up. "And you're gettin' rougher in the training, Yoruichi-sama." she replied, before using Shunpo herself and moving in front of Yoruichi, as a rapid exchange of blows and kicks were delivered between the two of them. One of the punches hit Yoruichi's palm so hard she actually winced for a short while, but ignored the pain as she continued to block and counter Renamon's fierce attacks. Renamon herself accidentally let some punches slip past her defense as well, her chest being the target. But regardless the force of the blows, she kept on fighting, because she knew that each punch that didn't kill her made her stronger. She grabbed Yoruichi's fist as it was about to hit her, and then threw her over her shoulder, making her fly in the air before landing on a tree trunk, dashing towards Renamon in attack. Renamon used Shunpo to dodge the first attack, but as soon as Yoruichi landed with her hands, she kicked behind her, and Renamon was hit as she reappeared behind her, receiving a hard kick on the chin. Renamon staggered backwards, holding her injured chin, but Yoruichi was on her again, kicking at her head. Renamon quickly deflected the blow, but Yoruichi disappeared in a flash again before reappearing above Renamon, her left foot up in the air as she was about to kick Renamon's head. She held up her arms in a cross, and the attack strenght was dampened. "Ugh! Your attacks are harder than last time!" she commented, before spreading her arms out, making Yoruichi fly off them and land in front of Renamon. "You sure press me hard, Yoruichi." "But you don't complain." Yoruichi smirked. "And that's what makes you special, compared to others of my students. They always complain and apologize when they do something wrong, and that tires me out on them. But you are special, because none of the moments in your training have you complained about me being too hard, just noticing it, and you haven't apologized when doing something wrong, but simply tried to improve. You're a good student, Renamon." "Thanks, Yoruichi-sama." Renamon nodded with a smile. "I will still train if that is neccesary." "That you should, Renamon. Your Shunko is still not enabled, though you show great signs that it will awaken in you soon." Yoruichi stated. "But you need a real challenge later or sooner, Renamon. I may be able to train you, but you need a worthy opponent to really test yourself against, and I don't know if there is someone I can find." Renamon was about to answer that question, but in that moment, she felt something inside her. Something was near her, and she felt its evil prescence in her. It was her. She stood up, and began to look towards the forest's east direction. "I think I can find a challenge." she said calmly, and began to walk off. "Don't worry, Yoruichi. I will be back in an hour or two. I just need to look something up." she nodded confidently at Yoruichi, and then leaped off as she used Shunpo. Yoruichi was of course confident in that Renamon was speaking the truth, but she could not help but to feel that she was hiding something. ~~~~~~~~~~ Renamon was leaping through the woods, getting closer and closer to her destination; where she sensed the evil energy grow. It was more compact than energy itself, which usually floated in the skies around her, and it was staying on one, single spot, which made Renamon's determination even more concluded. It was her. The one that had been created when Orochimaru removed her Cursed Seal a long time ago. Whas she still alive, after all this time? Apparently, since Renamon sensed all this energy. She stopped for awhile, and rested briefly. "How?" she asked herself. "How can she know I am all the way out here? It's not possible, unless I had a transmitter planted into my fur or something, which is highly impossible. No, it must be something else..." as she was talking and thinking for herself, she didn't notice that she was holding her head in pain, as if something was disturbing her. Suddenly, her eyesight darkened, and she was surrounded by darkness. Soon enough, a figure formed in front of her, stepping up to her. It was in the shape of a Renamon, but had purple fur and dark-red gloves instead of purple ones. "Well well well... what have we here?" it smirked with a feminine voice, stroking Renamon's chin with one finger gently. Renamon growled and pushed her hand away. "Get off me, b!tch..." she snarled at the copy. "I know that your real body is around here somewhere, so why not just tell me why you're here, where you are, and I'll kick your sweet little princess a$$ into next month." Renamon was clearly in a fighting mood, as she clutched her fists hard. The dark Renamon smirked at this, and merely chuckled at Renamon's attempts to intimidate her. "Puh-lease." she smirked, waving her hand dismissively. "We both know that you're not even close to my power, and even if you were..." she lifted a part of her white mane around her left shoulder, and there it was; The Curse Mark. It had still endured since Renamon and her dark half separated. "...I still have this. See it? It's still as powerful as it was back then, and I've trained alot since that time. You can keep on trying and train and beat up random weaklings, but you'll never surpass me in a 1-on-1 battle. You know it... ssssssisssssster..." she hissed at the last word, giving Renamon painful memories about her former master and fatherfigure. But Renamon stood her ground, and glared at her dark clone's eyes. "Look here, freak. I don't care how much you've trained, how powerful you are with that stupid mark, or how weak I am compared to you." Renamon spoke up, and the dark Renamon seemed a bit startled, but kept her cool with an evil smirk. "I will keep fighting, and keep on protecting Rika, because I know what it's like to have a true friend, unlike you. Your so-called 'Master', Orochimaru, is only using you for your power. He does not care about you in person. He's just a manipulative serpent. Don't listen to him, D. Renamon. He will betray y-" "SILENCE!" D. Renamon roared, and shot out a purple crystal shard at Renamon, which she dodged with Shunpo, seemingly disappearing for D. Renamon's eyes. "Huh?! What now?!" she snarled, but before she could see her again, a fist connected to her gut, and she gargled loudly as she was brough to her knees, holding her stomach. "A-Agh! C-C-Curse you..." she looked up to see Renamon above her, who grabbed her by the collar of her mane and brought her up to her face. "Not so cocky now, are you?" she frowned, and tightened the grip around D. Renamon's mane. "You can keep babbling away about your stupid tattoo mark or how powerful you are, but I have trained, and become stronger than you can imagine. There's no chance for you to beat me again..." as she was about to finish her sentence, she saw that D. Renamon was... melting. Like hot wax, she was bubbling and melting away in Renamon's grasp, and she gasped as she let go of the melting Dark Digimon, as she dissolved into a puddle of goo. "W-What was..." she started, but then, a loud cackle was heard. Aahahahahahahaha!! B!tch, please! Did you think that IMPOSTER was me? Really, you are pathetic, sis'! That was a mere decoy so you could get pepped up and fight ME, instead of your own shadow! Now then, I'll be waitin' for ya! Cíao! the darkness around Renamon lifted, as she regained her vision. She shook her head because of her dizziness, and looked around. "H-Huh? What now? Was that a dream... or just a vision?" she said to herself, looking to the east. She felt the power flare up again, but this time, more intense. She knew that D. Renamon was waiting for her. "Ok then, 'sister'... let's end this..." she said, and raced off. ~~~~~~~~~~ When Renamon finally stopped moving, she was in front of an ancient temple ruin. The pillars, suggestively of Greek origin, were covered in vines and otherwise vegetation, and the tiles were filled with dirt. She sighed as she saw the once graceful temple remains being so filthy now, but this was not the time to worry about those old things. She had someone to meet. "I know you're here..." she snarled, looking around the surroundings. She knew that somewhere around here, D. Renamon was hiding. "Show yourself." she stated simply, and as on command, dark energy began to circle around Renamon rapidly, almost consuming her. "W-What?! What is this?! GEDOFF ME!!" she struggled to shout as she waved her hands frantically in order to whip off the darkness around her. But it did not go away, until the darkness had sort of 'scanned' her entire body, and then went in front of Renamon on a safe distance, forming up til' it took the shape of a black-furred Renamon with gleaming red eyes and red gloves. "What's up, sis'? Ya look a lil' tense..." the dark Renamon smirked, before standing up. "I know, I know, this is no time for cheerful family reunions, but I just feel like chattin' for awhile! Been locked up all this time, ya know?" "Locked up? What the hell are you talking about?" snarked Renamon. "You were released from my body by that damn snake-guy Orochimaru. You haven't been 'locked up' anytime..." this made D. Renamon chuckle. "Please, Orochimaru 'released' me? No. No he didn't. Ya see, he only made a CLONE of me, with the powers of his Cursed Seal implanted in it. I'm still the dark side of your heart, Renamon. You can't deny it. We're bound to each other, ya know what I'm sayin'? I am still inside you..." Renamon was shocked as she heard this. D. Renamon was still in her? But how? How was that possible? "And by the way... even if it was the clone that had that 'little tattoo' as you call it... I still got it." she brushed away her mane a bit and revealed a blood-red mark near her neck, along her shoulder. She put the mane in place again. "B-But... no... it's not true..." Renamon began to feel hesitation and fear grab her soul in a vicegrip. D. Renamon simply put her hands on her hips and looked annoyed. "Ya don't believe me? Fine then, guess I'll have to BEAT it into ya!" she rushed towards Renamon and vanished for a slight moment, before reappearing in front of Renamon, grabbing her head and pulling her along, smashing her head-first into a ruin wall. She shouted in pain as her face connected with the hard rock, but it didn't stop there as D. Renamon pulled her up and turned her to face her, then punched her face as she was pushed back against the wall. Then, D. Renamon unleashed a furiously fast barrage of punches at Renamon's chest and face, pummeling her like a ragdoll before clasping her hands together and smacking Renamon through the wall, as she landed on the tile floor. She was gasping for air, wincing in pain as she struggled to stand up again. D. Renamon simply smirked and walked towards Renamon. "Keh, finished already?" "F-F-Far from..." Renamon stuttered, spitting out blood and putting up her fists. "I'm ready to go." "Good." smirked D. Renamon. "I was afraid that it was all you got." she rushed towards Renamon, but she vanished and appeared behind D. Renamon, hoping to surprise her. But as she punched at D. Renamon, she simply grabbed her fist from behind. "Puh-lease, dont' think I didn't see that." she smirked, and swung around, kicking Renamon in the side. She coughed up blood as D. Renamon kicked her, but was then kicked in the jaw and sent flying. D. Renamon pursued Renamon, and appeared above her, kicking her down again as her heel connected to Renamon's gut, and Renamon crashed down into the hard tile floor. Dust and debree was sent flying into the air as Renamon crashed to the ground, but as fast as she crashed into the ground, she got up and managed to stand up. She was holding her side in pain, and her gaze was slightly dimmed. "D-Don't think... that's a-all I... I-I got..." she managed to mumble, spitting out blood and standing up again, watching as her darker 'self' descended in front of her. "Y-You can beat me all ya want... but I won't give up... ever!" with this, she managed to find the force to rush at D. Renamon, and throw a punch at her, but she simply leaned to the left and dodged it. Though, what D. Renamon was not prepared for was seeing Renamon's foot coming at her, and she got kicked in the face. After the rather powerful kick, she got a punch into her chest, making her gasp for air. Renamon finished it by grabbing her face and smacking her into the floor. She jumped up and held her hands over her head, clasping them together and charging up a yellow sphere in them, which crackled a bit of the energy. Bakudō #4. Hainawa! She put her hands in front of her, and fired off a rope of energy towards them as it entangled itself around D. Renamon's arms, leaving her immobile. "Keh, is this all you got?!" she mocked Renamon, and tried to break free from the Hainawa, which seemed to put strain on the Bakudõ spell. "Far from it! I'm not done yet!" Renamon called, as she held her palm in front of her, and a red sphere was formed in it. Hadō #31. Shakkahō! The sphere fired towards D. Renamon, racing ever closer to her as it finally crashed upon her in a blast of fire and cinders. Renamon watched as the fire died out, and finally, the ground was visible. But D. Renamon was not there. "Please. Don't say you thought that your simple Kidō tricks could harm me!" a voice snickered, before D. Renamon was visible in front of Renamon, being a bit charred, but unharmed. Her left leg seemed to have been injured by a debree splinter, since it was bleeding slightly, but she was still able to stand up in the air in front of Renamon. "Now now, don't be shocked over how I survived, it was..." "I'm not." Renamon interrupted, making D. Renamon feel shocked herself. "I knew that the Hainawa wouldn't keep you still for long, hence why I fired the Shakkahō so early. I hoped to at least hit you with enough force to hit you before you escaped, which I seemed to succeed with." she eyed D. Renamon's injured leg as she said this. "In other words, I wasn't even hoping that the Bakudō would immobilize you through the whole fight, for where would the fun be, in that case?" she smirked a bit as she said the last thing, and her counterpart snarled as she was mimicked by Renamon. "You tramp! Shut up!" she roared, and charged at Renamon, throwing a punch at her. But with a single move, Renamon used Shunpo to dodge the attack, and as she reappeared behind D. Renamon, she gave her a strong punch in the back, making her arch in pain. Renamon then locked her leg with D. Renamon's legs, and held her head in her free hand, bringing both her legs and neck backwards, her fist still in D. Renamon's back. "A-Aaaggh!!!! C-CURSE YOU!!!" "Just give up." Renamon stated simply. "And get out of my body." this made D. Renamon's anger flare up to its limits. She was suppose to say that. She was the one to hold Renamon in this grasp of death. Not HER! She was superior! She had all the powers she needed to defeat the weak copy that used to be her host, and she could easily control her! But why? Why was she so... strong?! "I... I..." D. Renamon repeated, and purple/violet energy flared around her body like flames licking and caressing it, and making Renamon startled and letting go of her. The mark on D. Renamon's shoulder flared up in blood-red and orange flames, as it spread around her body, forming the hideous wave-shaped marks of blood she so much recognized and resented. "I... I won't... I won't..." D. Renamon kept repeating, now in a more dark and deep tone. The marks now turned her body dark as night itself, and the energy inside her formed shockwaves that made the trees around them wave and almost tear up by the roots, and Renamon had to hold herself standing in the place she was on to not be thrown away in the winds. "I-I WON'T BE BEATEN BY A WEAKLING B!TCH LIKE YOU!!!!" she roared finally, and the darkness around her shattered, forming the cruel creature of which only nightmares could conjure; her fur being black as night, her arms forming obsidian crystal with talons as sharp as knives, and her tail splitting into nine, each one a rotting, decaying arm and hand with purple skin and brown, rotten flesh seen through the wounds. Spikes of the same crystalline material formed from her back in rows of two, and four slits on her head indicated the growth of a second pair of blood-red gleaming eyes. She was a nightmare incarnate now. She had reached the Cursed Seal's second transformation. The real fight was beginning. ~~~~~~~~~~ D. Renamon let out a deafening roar as the area around the two Digimon shook violently, and then she glared at Renamon with fire in her red eyes. She was not going to let her win this time. Not now, not ever. She was the one superior. She was the only one to control their actions. "You won't defeat me, fox b!tch! I am the superior of us two, both in mind power and fighting power! I am the surpreme side of your little frail mind! You won't defeat me! NEVER!!!" she shouted, and charged up to Renamon, one of her tail-arms flinging at her and grabbing her before extending and slamming her down into the ground. "AGH!! How?! How can you extend your arms like that!? I was not able t- AAAGH!!" Renamon started, but growled in pain as she was pummeled by a second fist in the face. "Hahahaha! Don't you know?! I am the DARK side of you! I have far more knowing of your Cursed Seal powers than you ever will! I can use them to my full advantage, where you only could use a portion of their powers! For instance... THIS!!" D. Renamon manically cackled as all her nine tail-fists mercilessly pummeled down on Renamon in a hailstorm of punches and slashes, tearing up her skin and breaking her bones. ""CHAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! C'MON, C'MON, C'MON, C'MON, C'MON!!!" she roared and laughed insanely as Renamon was beaten to submission, and as the attack ended, Renamon was nearly dead as she laid there, panting and shivering in pain. "T-T-This is a... a-a nightmare..." she managed to gasp, the pain in her body being too great for her to almost think straight. "S-She's a monster..." she stood up on her knees and hands, coughing up blood every 10th second. "I-I-I'm not going down... n-not now... I-I..." Renamon slowly stood up on her knees, supporting herself with one hand on her left knee as she stood up. "I-I got to... t-to win!" she felt the adrenaline pump in her veins, being so close to death, yet so close to living the time of her life as well. She felt this energy enhance the Reiatsu inside her, and felt it pulsing with her blood. She looked up at D. Renamon as she was looking down at her with a frown on her face. "Oh, finished already?" she yawned, and pulled back her nine arm-tails, as they wriggled behind her in anticipation of another smackfest. "How bad for you, I was hoping you would have more of a challenge in you, but I suppose that you're just another good-for-nothing pushover who tries to take credit from others, as usual. Well well...... guess I have to end this quickly." she made seals with her front hands, and held her right hand downwards, supporting it with her left hand as a lightning ball formed inside her right palm, then it turned black. She was using the Chidori Lament. All her nine hands now also had the same spheres in their palms, and death seemed to be the only outcome for Renamon. But now, Renamon was more pissed than ever, and she felt that no wound could stop her from completing her current goal; destroying D. Renamon. In this moment, she felt the Reiatsu inside her build up even more, until it felt like it was about to burst. "You... you have no right to talk to me like that." she said with a low voice, looking up at D. Renamon, not the slightest afraid of her fate. Her Reiatsu began to show around her shoulders, flaring up like small fire cinders. "You think that you're so powerful, just because of the power of your techniques. Well, you're wrong. Power is measured in your own power, the power of your fists, your body, your heart. You can't measure your own strenght on simple spells and transformations, cause that is foolish. The true strenght is from yourself. You never realised that, and in your defeat, you denied it, and brainwashed me to think that power was in the techniques I used. But I got rid of you, or at least your thoughts. I trained on my own, and so I got stronger. I will defeat you now, and seal you inside of me. Maybe I will regain that stupid mark, but I bet that I will be able to control it. But before you leave me, allow me to introduce you to a new technique I've learned..." she raised her right hand, and clutched it to a fist. The Reiatsu around her now began to form fire around her, which danced in a blue, ghostly color. And then, with a mere whisper, she uttered one word; "Shunko!" And with this, her Reiatsu was released into her back and shoulders, as it flared up in a massive, blue flame behind her. She gave D. Renamon a death glare before completely standing up. "Now..." she said, as the Reiatsu around her burned and danced around her body. "This is my ultimate technique; the Shunko. Yoruichi taught me this technique, and it is able to boost the power in my arms and legs. Your Chidori won't be able to hit me, now that I am faster... and more powerful. You're finished." D. Renamon was actually worried of Renamon's power increase, and felt it dazzle her even from the distance she was at. "W-What's this?" she asked herself, looking at the fire surrounding Renamon. "This must be some sort of ultimate technique. Finally! My chance to overpower that little wench! She must be too exhausted to properly control it now, so she would most likely fail!" she leaped forward, all of her hands with Chidori in them in front of her. "YOU'RE FINISHED! RENAMON!!!!!" "......" Renamon simply jumped up at her foe, her Reiatsu flaring up more around her shoulder as she charged through the air. This was it. One of them were going down, and neither knew about who was going to. D. Renamon lunged all of her nine arms forward, the Chidori spheres in them sizzling and crackling with pure electricity. Renamon saw them heading towards her, and used her increased speed to dodge them heading towards her. Though one of the hands were slightly closer to her arm than the others, and the Jutsu cut through her arm, but she ignored the pain as she brought back her other arm, and prepared for impact. The look on her face was stern and focused, and D. Renamon was madly laughing and screaming as she brought her normal arm forward, the Chidori sphere in it about to collide with Renamon's chest. But Renamon saw this coming at her, and with a nano-second's notice, she managed to get away from the lethal attack, and lunged her fist at D. Renamon. All that happened after that, was a giant, fiery blast of blue flames, seen from afar. ~~~~~~~~~~ Yoruichi - who had already sensed the massive Reiatsu from Renamon's Shunko - was rushing through the woods to Renamon's and D. Renamon's battle site, hoping for the better, but preparing for the worst. As she quickly arrived to the scene, she found Renamon only, lying on the ground, wounded and bruised. She was not moving, but barely visible chest heavings indicated she was breathing. Satisfied that her student hadn't killed herself, Yoruichi went up to Renamon and helped her up, as her consciousness quickly returned. "U-Ugh.... w-what happened?" she asked as she looked around, seeing Yoruichi. She was smiling at her. "W-What? W-What have I d-done now?" "You proved to me that your training was successful." said Yoruichi, patting Renamon's shoulder gently. "You used Shunko." Renamon was slightly baffled at this, and blinked a few times. "I-I did?" she asked, just to get it confirmed. "Yes you did, and I am very proud of you." Yoruichi nodded. "By the way, who was the one you battled with? I sure sensed alot of powerful Reiatsu, so it must of been someone powerful." Renamon nodded at this, and looked down on her paws. "It was D. Renamon. The dark side of my consciousness." she said, and looked up at the sky, where a few birds could be seen flying past. "She was... all the things I've locked away. The madness, the sorrow... the rage and power-hunger. She was me in a negative way. I battled her... and it seems I beated her... but not... entirely. She is still inside me, but I control her now. I, and no one else." Yoruichi was about to ask how, but Renamon merely showed her something under her mane; The Cursed Seal. It was back again, but the black color of it had dimmed slighty, showing that the power of it had faded. "I control it, so she can't emerge as easily as last time." "I see. Good thing you don't let her control you then." Yoruichi nodded with a smile. "Well, we need to get you back to my hut. You're pretty beat up, ya know?" "Just...... let me be here for one more moment." Renamon asked Yoruichi. "I need... to be alone for awhile." nodding, Yoruichi took off, leaping back to her hut. Renamon turned to the crashed and almost demolished temple ruin, and bowed down on her left knee, supporting herself with her right hand. "Thank you... 'sister'... you helped my training to be complete..." and with this, she stood up, and vanished in a cloud of leaves and dust, and serenity once again arose in nature. .:Abarai Renji:.
Yes, they are working together. That is a fact, of course. Nexev
I have a question. Since Fredrik is you, will he eventually recognize the fact that he is in his union of justice fic? And the thing wasn't how uncreative the villians were, you will probably add more as you go along. However wouldn't that be just the thing for Nexev to criticize on (he is hyper critical). I mean look at me, I'm criticizing you about me not criticizing you. How critical can you get?
.:Abarai Renji:.
That is REALLY critical indeed ^^ And I kinda had a plan to make Fredrik realise he is in his own Fic, yes. But that is still an idea that I think about.
