Though he knows many Strategic and powerful spells and is legendary amongst the ranks he suffers from a side affect of a Spell gone wrong. The Spell had left Hayate in a blood bath and half dead. When he was healed by his master he noticed his powers where severely weakened, which in turn took away from his most powerful spells. Recently Hayate has started to gain the use of his stronger spells but has yet to fully recover even after a hundred years. Though he is scared and very old Hayate has managed to cast a spell upon himself which made him look younger.

Kain jumped off the wall and landed on the pathement, he then walked towards the entrence of the stop n' go garage. He delved deep into his pocket to pull out a crumbled up $5 note. He walked in and went straight to the cheap offer of books on the shelve at the very back.

Vinessa stared back at the woman sitting across from her eyes narrowed to a slit. She was in bipolar mode. It was mostly shock that Ariel was impervious to her powers. She was the only creature on this planet who was able to take Vinessa's rage and turn it against her. She wasn't sure whether to feel desecrated or dilapidated. It almost seemed like the world should have ended right then in there- she was in shock that no one else was feeling the pain that she was at that moment. All her life, she'd been used to using her telepathic abilities to defend herself; in fact, it was her only advantage against most immortals. And now, none of that mattered any more. She remained an 'unknown'. There was no word for her. Just.. nothing. She was nothing. She'd been defeated.

Marcus continued his blind trek against the road. He stopped suddenly, seeing a car in the distance behind him. "Vampires?" He muttered to himself. His muscles ached suddenly, as if urging him to go to the car. He refrained himself, and instead took a small hunting dagger out. He sat down, against a log, and began scraping it with his dagger. He tried to seem as innocent as possible.

Kain picked a book of the shelf and flicked through a couple of the pages. "Hey kid!" Kain heard a shout from behind him. "This isn't a public library, either buy the book or get the hell out!" The spotty teen shouted from behind the counter. Kain sighed and put the book back. "Where did all the nice people go..." Kain muttered to himself as he walked back towards the door. He gave the counter boy a smirk look and chucked him the $5 note. "Buy some face cream..." Kain exited and walked back to the wall where he was sitting.

Vinessa couldn't bare this agonizing entrapment inside her own head. "I'll catch up with you guys in a bit..." she muttered, quickly fleeing out of the limo and onto the side of the road. She'd noticed her old friend Marcus sitting against a log. "Hey," she called in a mute tone. They'd never actually been real friends, but he always seemed some-what of an accomplice.
