I remember once, I went to a tournament, I loved YGO, and I still do. I went there without cases, it was so dumb. I also remember trying to play a Trap Card face-up and Special Summoning BLWD without tributes! That was real dumb. What sorta things did you do?

Well, 3 years ago i used to set a face-down spell like Swords of Revealing Light and then activate it when my opponent attacks as a "chain"

When I used to be threatened with a cotton swab (not so long ago). When I used Neo the Magic Swordsman and used to power him up to the max (lol, I reached 3200 ATK)

I used a 27 card deck because I didn't have enough money for cards. We also played with 2000 Life Points and weird rules like, you can only attack the monster infront of your monster. If you don't attack, you can move the monster to different spot. Or if the picture of the monster has wings, you can only destroy it with another monster with wings. We also played without tributes.

 

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this was like winter of 2002 when I started playing. Obviously, that was kinda a while ago.

ya my friends (with whom i'm not friends with anymore) and i played with some of the strangest rules like 2+ field cards, a monster with wings gain an attack bonus when being attacked (or attacking) a land base monster, but that was so long ago

Summoning time wizard and moving my arm like a clock and saying, " Yes! Your Monsters are gone!"

I also use to use monster reborn to bring back a Trap Card once.

I remember before I got the rule book (I just got cards) SDY deck and the best card was Summoned Skull and we made effects for Gaia like it destroys cards equal to a dice roll and stuff, very fun, but times have changed, and I play with mostly effect monsters =(.

i remember when me and ma freind used to duel, we had like 100 card decks and all our monsters had 5+ stars (we didnt use tributes) and we just shoved all our best monsters in. my mate used to have like 14 BEWD in his deck. we used to flip stuff on the turn they had been set. man. we were noobs :/

i always used to think that 0 ATK and DEF monsters were invicible and couldn't be destroyed
