Mindscatter
Knowledge grows exponentially. The more we know' date=' the greater our ability to learn, and the faster we expand our knowledge base.[/i'] Information doubles every 10 years. So yeah...HAIL INTERNETZ Yes but not everything on the internet reveals all the truths. For the complete truths you must read the books. Hell to the YEAH! We need to read more books, as a society. I read a thing the other day that said Americans read 40% less books than five years ago. That's a BAD thing right? I know America is kinda' in the toilet right now, but c'mon!! Normal people don't read books for scientific facts. Normal people read HISTORY and LITERATURE. For science, we have the internet. Hail wikipedia! The best science is in the books of the past. Only when you read these books will you understand that present day science is so far behind from past day science. Muluck
????How could past books have better scientific info? Haha, my friend you are one of many who think just because we are here now and have many cool things. That we are better or more knowledgable then those from the past. But it is actually quite different, we have yet to grasp what scientists back then once spent their life times studying. Thought, Emotion, Breathable Water, Journies to the center of the earth, 11 string theory. So much that our scientists have brushed off as immature and kid talk, was once so highly thought about during the days of our eldest minds. Muluck
...Knowledge about Knowledge..was that the reason for learning To know about "to know"...O.o.. Knowledge about knowledge lets us comprehend things that we cannot currently deem possible. You learn things to enhance your knowledge, but it does no good if you don't believe it. So you learn to believe.
