This story takes place at the end of the ghost arc

 

[spoiler=Plot Line]

When the ghost duelists were all destroyed yusei fudo was left with a tough choice. His mark as well as the other signers marks were starting to fade. If he chose option one he would let his mark fade away leaving him no memory of the dark signers or his signer friends. If he chose the second option he would have to participate in a tournament a long side the other signers and if he or one of the signers wins then they all become rich and famous beyond thier wildest dreams and they would all be connected and remember even if their marks faded. The reason why yusei must make such a tough descion is because the other signers got kidnapped and the only way he can save them is picking one of the options. The kidnappers are graduates from the duel academy and are now the proud members in a new threat against the dueling nation. Nightmare Divine, is a gang of elite duelist lead by one of the strongest duelists in the world. He surpassed even the power of Maximilion Pegusus himself. Yusei must find a way to surpase the power of the elite duelist Joey Wheeler. If yusei does not find away around this perdicament then him and the other signers will duel with their lives on the line.
