Kizzi
(each of these is needing at least 20fps) 1) What sort of rig would I need to run Crysis on high at 1024*768?2) What sort of rig would I need to run Crysis on high at 1920*1080?3) What sort of rig would I need to run Crysis on max settings at 1920*1080? I'm just wondering, because I've been looking at hardware and I'm trying to judge how many years until my next upgrade. So yeah, if anyone plays Crysis, I'd appreciate ideas on the specs needed. Kizzi
Does price matter? No' date=' it doesn't matter, but I'd also appreciate a rough guess of how much parts would be. I need to see exactly [i']how[/i] far out of my range this is. :P
Cyber Altair
3 is way out of you're reach unless you have 1500 to 2000 dollars you're looking to spend. They'll be the best you'll ever spend though.

Like I said, there's no actual budget limit. =p
Poseidon©
Do you want a pre-built computer? In that case check out Alienware. If you want to get a DIY (it's cheaper, and can get you a great computer if you chose good parts) just ask, and I'll be happy to make one. Cyber Altair
lol Alienware. Get a Quadcore, an Nvidia GTX 260 and anything above 2Gb RAM SHOULD be good enough to make you're second request possible. Uping them a bit should grant you the third requests. Poseidon©
If you want to get a next gen graphics card, get the ATI Radeon HD 5870, or the nVidida GTX 300. Then get 4 GB ram, and then get a Intel/AMD processor
Kizzi
Thanks Altair. I've heard there's a big different between high and max settings, so how much would I need to boost them up?
Cyber Altair
I ran high and max (without moving XD) just to see how it looks. I didn't really notice much of a difference as both are spectacular.
Kizzi
Yeah but what about when you're actually moving about and shooting?
