Hydra of Ages
[spoiler=Prologue (Full)]Long ago, in an era long passed by, a Lord of Demons schemed to steal the Power of the Gods from the Sacred Realm, from where mortals were forbidden. Through manipulation and trickery, the evil warlocked succeeded in entering the Sacred Land of the Triforce by means of manipulating the young Princess of Hyrule, and a heroic young man from the forest who sought to keep him from his goal. After the boy had collected the sacred relics of the three main tribes of the land of Hyrule, as well as a heirloom from the Royal Family known as the Ocarina of time, he was able to open the Door of Time and open the way to the Sacred Realm. The boy placed his hands on the ancient and powerful Sword of the Gods that had been placed for safekeeping in the Pedestal of Time, but in doing so, was trapped within its powerful magic for seven years, until he was old enough to properly wield it and claim the title of Hero of Time. In an event that came to be known as the Great Cataclysm, the Demon King was able to enter the Land of the Gods and lay his vile hands on the Sacred Triforce, but due to his heart not being in the correct balance, the golden power scattered, leaving him with only the potent Triforce of Power. The other sacred relics, of Wisdom and Courage, were scattered within the Princess of Hyrule and the Hero from the forests. After ruling Hyrule for those seven years the Hero of Time was absent, the King of Darkness was confronted with the return of the boy from the forests, now wielding the Chosen Blade of the Gods, the Blade of Evil's Bane, that cut down his dark powers and awakened the abilities of the Seven Sages, each manifesting an aspect of the Goddess' power. The Seven Sages fought alongside the Hero of time to defeat the Dark Demon King and restore peace to their land; After the first six had been awakened, the Princess revealed herself to be the seventh and final sage, and was captured by the Demon King, who intended to use her for his own dark purposes. Using her as bait, he hoped to lure the Hero to his lair in order to assemble the True Triforce and use its combined power to rule for all eternity. The boy formerly from the forests did indeed enter the fiend's tower, and with the power of the remaining six sages, worked his way up the dark bastion, until he finally entered the dark keep of the beast. At the top, he fought the vile king, and after a mighty struggle, eventually bested the beastlike mage with his own Triforce and the might of the sword he wielded. The Princess was released, but the tower crumbled as the malicious warlock used the last of his power to try and destroy his adversaries. The Hero of Time escaped the castle with the Princess just in time before the structure collapsed entirely, and the evil king, still in possession of his Triforce of Power, exploded out from the rubble he had created, seemingly immortal with the Power of the Gods in his possession. Using the the Triforce of Power, he transformed himself into a monstrous Dark Beast that rained death and Destruction. The Hero of Time once again bested the darkness that threatened him, and the Seven Sages opened the doorway to the tainted Realm of the Gods, from which Ganondorf was trapped in, forever sealed in his own twisted nightmare. As he was trapped, the Warlock wished revenge on the world of Light, and promised one day to return and exterminate all that lived, as the Triforce of Power continued to be in his possession. Following the Dark King's sealing, the Princess used the power of the heirloom of the Royal Family, the Ocarina of Time, to send the Hero back to his childhood so that he may experience his lost seven years, leaving behind only his legend. Upon his departure from our world, the Master Sword was returned to its Pedestal within the former Gate to the Sacred Realm, and the Triforce of Courage spread across Hyrule, it's purpose fulfilled and the lineage of the Hero it followed broken in the branch of time that it existed within. In the many years of peace following the Sealing of the Dark Mage and the departure of the Hero, the Kingdom began its long process of healing. Hyrule Castle, having been destroyed in the battle with the Dark Mage, was rebuilt in the the center of Hyrule, where a large moat fed by the Zora's River protected it. The Temple of Light, having lost its link to the Sacred Realm and threatened to fall down in the wake of the damage it received, had the Sword of Evil's Bane and the Pedestal in which it was set transported to the new castle, where it was given a position of honor in a secret basement, guarded by a massive statue of the Hero of Time that stood tall, a reminder to all Hylians of the threat of Evil and the importance of Courage even in the times of peace. In order to safeguard against Evil from ever encroaching upon Hyrule's soil once more, two new Sages were named, to protect and pray for the well being of the Sword of Evil's Bane, so that it may never lose it's ability to repel those who threaten Hyrule and those within it. The power would always be maintained as long as these two sages linked the people of Hyrule to their Goddesses. These new sages, the Sage of Earth and Sage of Winds, were placed within temples built into the deep bedrock of two mountains in the North and South of Hyrule respectively. Two special instruments were crafted with the magicks of the original Ocarina of Time for the purpose of carrying these Sages' prayers to the ears of the goddesses; A harp to be used by the Sage of Earth, and a violin to be used by the Sage of Wind. And so, guarded by the songs of these two sages, the land of Hyrule slept in peace. An innumerable amount of years following the banishment of the Dark King, the King returned to Hyrule. Having crossed the borders of dimensions close to the Sacred Realm, he made powerful allies with dark magics similar to his own. With their combined powers, the seal created by the seven sages of old was broken, and he descended upon Hyrule in a red wrath, making good on his original promise to the people of old, making them pay for their insolence. His allies, The Dark Mystics from a dark dimension not unlike the Dark King's prison, and his own powers formed an army from which they were able to storm the Castle of Hyrule; And yet, being within the presence of the Sword of Evil's bane, powered by the constant prayers of the two remaining Sages, caused the very castle to drain the king and the Mystic's power. And so they built a new tower, a bastion, a short distance from the castle as they scowered the land in search of the two hidden Sages. The people of Hyrule, once again under this dark rule, appealed to the Gods above to send them a hero; Someone, anyone, who could once again do away with the Dark King and save them from a life of tyranny against his Dark Powers. But their prayers went unheeded. The Hero's lineage gone from their stand of time, and the Triforce of Courage scattered about Hyrule, prevented the gods from sending a hero capable of killing the one with the Triforce of Power. And so, as with the misery of the people of Hyrule, the skies themselves seemed to weep, unleashing a mindless deluge upon the land below, never stopping or ending. The sun never rose on Ganondorf's dominion. [spoiler=Prologue (Short)]The Demon King Ganondorf has broken free of his dimensional shackles.Aided by strange beings wielding dark magic who call themselves only the "Dark Mystics", the people of Hyrule were easily subjugated. The various races, allying together out of necessity to try and toss them from them their realm, are helpless before the Dark Power wielded by all of their enemies. The Sages of Earth and Wind are being seeked, as they are the only thing preventing Ganondorf from ruling Hyrule unconditionally. The Royal Family has disappeared. No hero is coming to have Hyrule; the Gods can do nothing else but pour deluge upon watery deluge from the sky. It is the time for the people of Hyrule to defend themselves; without aid of their magics or Gods. Not chosen by the gods, but taking up the sword willingly to defend their own people, heroes among the races are becoming more common. But can these Mystics or Ganondorf himself be stopped by mortal hands? The Species of Hyrule- [spoiler= Hylian] --Hylian-- The Chosen Race of the Gods, Hylians are characterized by fair skin, brightly colored eyes and exceptionally long, pointed ears. =Physical Characteristics=The average height of a Hylian is 6'4 for a male, 6'2 for a female. Hylians are lithe creatures, with little outward muscle development. They are often athletic and acrobatic, able to preform physical stunts unknown of to other races. Hylian are predisposed to using weaponry to defend themselves, and are considered impressive at learning new skills quickly due to this. It is said that a Hylian once mastered every known style of Sword Technique in his 80 year life, while a human with the same amount of effort could only manage bout a third of the same feat. Hylian have a stronger immune system than other species, and have never been decimated by plague like other species populations have. They have also shown to have stronger metabolisms, allowing them to convert food to energy quickly when necessary, and allowing them to digest things that other species would have difficulty with. In exchange for this, Hylian must eat more often than the average species, and will die of hunger in a much shorter time. It is notable, however, that their capacity for absorbing water is about equal to that of a human. Apparently due to having been chosen by the Gods, Hylians also display an ability to see through illusions and magical effects easier than other races. Their ears, as well as easily being the most sensitive of any sapient race on Hyrule (Some claim a Hylian can hear a mouse rustle from fifty yards away), can occasionally perceive a ringing, or shrill sound whenever they approach a large source of magical or spiritual power. Despite increased endurance, tolerance for pain, and acrobatic capabilities, Hylian muscle growth is stunted as compared to human, and it is not uncommon for them to be bowled over by those much stronger or larger than they are. For this reason, Hylians had an old reputation of being tricksters. =History=Hylians are considered the primary race of Hyrule, although the developing race of Humans vies to contest them in this role in more recent days. Hylians make up most of the population towards the center of Hyrule, with their capital being the former Castle Town (Now renamed to Fortunefall Town since the relocation of Hyrule Castle). Considered the race created by the Goddesses in their images, Hylians have long ears supposedly so they can hear the messages of the Gods. Indeed, once upon a time, Hylians were known to be able to see through lies, illusions, magic and be able to sense if a creature of dark intent was within their midst, as well as control the powers of Power, Creation and Manipulation like their parent gods. While this is still true in some aspects, modern Hylians have lost most of their abilities of legend. =Mounts=Hylian mounts of choice are generally Horses, much like their human brethren. However, the Hylian are generally more attracted to beings of flight, probably due to the logic of them having descended from the Sacred Realm, commonly associated with the sky. Some Hylian have learned ways to soothe the generally violent Kargaroc in the same manner as they do other manners of Raptor birds, and through selective breeding, have acheived a mount that is both dependable, and durable enough for extended flight. Riding Kargaroc, however, are incredibly expensive to both breed and to obtain. The few Hylian who have access to these beasts are either those who live in areas where they are tamed, or are part of the Hylian Knights. Most other Hylian make due with horses. [spoiler=Human] --Human--The developing race of Hyrule, Humans are almost indistinguishable from Hylian apart from their stockier build, duller eye color, and lobed ears. =Physical Characteristics= The average height of a human is 6'1 for a male, 5'10 for a female. Humans are stockier creatures than Hylian, often times ruder in their movements and with greater muscle growth. Though Humans have sacrificed much of the innate balance within a Hylian, they gain a greater capacity for raw strength, and some claim a more open mind. They lack the inner sense of battle that a Hylian has obtained, but are more likely to develop on their own than a Hylian is; The inner workings of other species make them loathe to adapt to new situations and changes, which they have been stagnated in for centuries, while the human race, being a more recent development and still attempting to find its niche, finds change much more agreeable. Due to their unstable body structure, Humans have a weaker immune system, lower tolerance for pain, and require more food than usual. However, as the pay off, humans generally receive more total energy over time for the food they consume, and can last much longer without substance than the average Hylian. Human bodies are much quicker to adapt to scenarios than other species are, making it fairly easy for them to travel or fit into other societies. Due to this fact, many humans decide to take up the path of the merchant. The one big downfall of the human, however, is their susceptibility to magic. Humans lake any innate mystic skill, and cannot defend from magic with their own abilities. It has been said that a human in the presence of magic constantly, will eventually develop a hide stronger than even the Kokiri at resisting magic, but this has been unable to be confirmed. Humans tend to react to magic presence negatively, often developing headaches, allergies, or even seizures and heart attacks in response to great qualities of magic. Though other races tend to look down on humans as being mentally inferior, the opposite is perhaps more likely. Humans are less likely to have as good an education than the other species, due to their species being spread out among rural areas, however they have shown to take to intellectual study much quicker than the other species do, with a thirst for knowledge that often baffles the greatest Hylian Proffessors. =History=Humans are considered the ultimate result of interbreeding among Hylians. Due to the lack of magical influence in recent years, the strain that trades the Hylian natural aptitude for magical arts for raw strength proliferated over the years, eventually becoming its own species. Humans are an incredibly new species of hybrids, with genetics often incredibly unstable. It has not been unheard of for humans to develop species defects similar to other ancestors they may have had in the past- Bulbin horns, Zora fins, Kokiri stature, or similar. As such, many others are not sure what to expect of them. If Hylian had reputation of being tricksters in the past, humans are undoubtedly so, as people who attempt to pidgeonhole them constantly become surprised at what the result actually is. =Mounts=Humans have a fondness for animals of the earth, and are most at home with Horses as steeds, frequently drawn to taming other similar animals for cattle as well. Some humans can even develop the ability to communicate with animals on a very basic level, an ability the secluded but nature-devoted Kokiri have always desired. While many humans favor the sword, there appears to be no direct pull to specific weapons among the humankind, who seem to be able to use all sorts of weapons equally. [spoiler= Zora] --Zora--The aquatic race of Hyrule, the Zora are distinguishable by their aquatic bodies, slender forms, and fins. =Physical Characteristics= The average height of a Zora is 6'3 for a male, 6' for a female. Zora are aquatic, reclusive creatures that rarely venture outside of their domain. They have slender bodies, perfect for traveling through the water, light bone structure, and powerful fins. However, the Zora body structure is not built for endurance. Bone fractures and breaks are a common occurrence around the species outside of water. A special mechanism for the Zora has been developed for use within the water; Their scales are specially formed in order to absorb the impact of landing on water, which allows them to make ridiculously high dives without risk to themselves. Zora can live outside of water with little difficulty, due to their ambi-terrain lungs. Despite prevalent rumors, Zora do not need to worry about 'drying out'- their skin is actually comprised of many millions of needle-thin scales that allow water to pass around them without being absorbed. This functions well for reducing the impact of the sun's rays, making them actually better suited to heat than most other species. However, Zora rarely venture outside of their domain, and are very susceptible to viruses that the rest of the residents of Hyrule are immune to. Water refreshes the systems of a Zora and allows them to create blood cells at a higher rate, which makes returning ill Zora to a water source a possible option of treatment. The Zora are very magically inclined, and close to the gods. The Zora are perhaps the most religious race of all the species of Hyrule, perhaps excepting the ancient Hylians, and have several structures for worship constructed within their domain. The Water Temple, a sacred spot for Zora kind, is kept at the bottom of Lake Hylia, where only the Zora may swim. While some races see Zora as defenseless, they do have several biological weapons at their disposal. While threatened, an adult Zora's Forefins stiffen to the consistency of metal, allowing them to be used in combat. The right fin of adult Male Zora often inflames to a large size during this event, which allows them to use it as a shield or way of defense. Female Zora fins both remain small and sharp, which has led to the tradition of Male militant Zora being Guards, while Female Zora become Soldiers. Occasionally, a Zora is capable of Bio-luminescence, which then indicates that they may be capable of creating an electric charge throughout their body. This trait has often been associated with Royalty in early Zora, though the allele does occasionally pop up in odd places and skip certain members of Royalty. It is said that a Zora with Hylian in their ancestry will often gain this ability, which lead to the curious habit of female Zora seeking out Hylian mates. The Zora form close ties to the Hylians, and it is implied that the two may have once been the same race by certain similarities of body structure. However, the Zora are fairly wary of other races, though they are open minded and kindhearted at the core. =History=Zora have considered themselves manifestations of the water themselves by the God's themselves, and have put forth theory that they may have once been Hylians gifted with sovereignty over Water by the Gods, using the structure of their ears and bodies as evidence. The Zora have always been deeply religious, thanking the gods and praising them. They are a shy race, and nearly all of their species live within the pure waters of the Zora's Domain. While they accept members of other races, they are suspicious of all non-Hylian outsiders, whom they do not see as kin. While the Zora have always been a peaceful race, they have had a long history of suffering at the hands of other, stronger species, and prefer a life of recluse in the mountains to one in the cities. Even so, in keeping with the ties to the Hylian, the Zora maintain a channel to Lake Hylia, and have several ambassadors sent over. While their Domain is open to public travel during only very select days, those given official leave by the Hylian Royal Leader of the time will be accepted into the Domain at all times. The Zora function on a monarchical society. Being a very close-knit group, there is no real palace or throne chamber for this Royal, simply a throne within the main wellspring of water that comes from Snowpoint. The Royal is almost always revered and well-liked by their people, who have a certain fondness for the family. It's rumored that the Zora Royal Family contains Hylian genes shared by the Hyrule Royal Family, and it is from this link that the Royal Family are often able to call upon electrical abilities. =Mounts=Zora find kin in the creatures of the sea, and despite not needing transportation, any large amphibian or reptile capable of both terrestrial and sea travel are easy for them to tame. It is not uncommon to see disturbing variety in the Zora's steeds when they take them, from gigantic frogs to ten-legged water hoppers. [spoiler=Goron] --Goron--The subterranean Goron, known for their strength and honor, are distinguishable by their rocky and hard bodies, making them perhaps the physically strongest race of Hyrule. =Physical Characteristics= The average height of a Goron is about 6'10, though some Goron have the curious ability to continue growing far beyond normal limitations. Goron are fairly social, proud creatures that take care of the Mines of Hyrule and the dangerous Death Mountain range. Goron physiology is far different from any other race on Hyrule, leading some to suspect that unlike most other races, they have no root in Hylian ancestry. Gorons consume stone and earth matter for subsistence, often in massive quantities in order to keep their great stone bodies working. Excess minerals are often stored in their skin, making them literally hard as the stone they eat. Exceptionally well-fed Goron often develop stone-like growth fringes from around their body, which are seen as a sign of strength and good health in Goron society. Goron have very dense, heavy bone structure that is nigh-impossible to break. Sometimes taken akin to metal, a Goron's skeleton is resistant to pressure, being cut, fire, cold temperatures, and doesn't allow electricity to pass through it, making them an extremely hardy race. Though Goron are ridiculously heavy creatures and cannot swim, they can live quite easily under water (And indeed, some do, in the massive hotsprings that burst up around Mount Doom). This is due to their bodies requiring Hydrogen, instead of Oxygen, and being able to absorb it in solid, liquid, or gas form, meaning that they do not drown in water, nor while trapped by rocks as long as they still have access to their food. Goron's main weakness is their immune systems. While completely and utterly immune to almost all viruses that plague other species, a few strains of Goron-only diseases do pop up, from which they have little defense. Fortunately for the species, however, Goron immune systems are often capable of beating off a virus it has already been introduced to, and most strains of Goron-specific virus die out quickly. In addition, a Goron's eyes are generally particularly bad when it comes to well-lit spaces, due to their subterranean existence. They are often fooled by appearances. Goron bodies are nigh-indestructable even by other means. They can survive incredible temperatures with no ill effects, often finding the heat of being submerged in boiling water "pleasent". Magma causes them extreme discomfort and can be dangerous if stayed in for long periods of time, however it is not instantly fatal with Goron as it is with other species. Most explosions hardly stop a common Goron, who live among the growing Bomb Plants and accidently collide with them occasionally. Gorons have the curious ability to curl up into a ball-shape, with their harder back-plates facing outward, and roll in this manner. This works as both transportation and a defense mechanism. A full-sized Goron moving at full speed in this form is akin to a wrecking ball, often able to break through rocks of large sizes with little difficulty. Goron have little need for weapons, however they are accomplished Black Smiths who are often sought after by other species. If a Goron wields a weapon, it is almost assured that said weapon is both incredibly well crafted, and more destructive than a Goron's usual weapons- their fists. Gorons prefer crushing weapons such as Hammers or Maces, due to the similarity between them and their own fists, but some are known to use Swords with proficiency also. While Gorons have absolutely no inner magic, there have been some known to have been blessed by Fairy Magic. Among other things, this magic allows Gorons to control minerals in their body to a certain degree, allowing them to create pure metallic armor about their bodies and spike-like weapons from their fists. =History= Similarly religious as the Zora, Goron often give their thanks to nature itself, rather than to a god in particular. Goron believe themselves to be the Mountains made flesh, and return to them once they die; They believe that in life, everything is a circle, and everything must return to whence they came. Goron tend to hypothesize that if they are the mountains, then Zora are the Waters, and Hylians the Trees, though they admit they cannot confirm this. They are a friendly enough race, and are often seen traveling, though most generally reserve a certain amount of homesickness for Death Mountain, where the main Goron population lives. Death Mountain is known to not be the original spot of said mountain; Gorons quickly devour stone in great numbers, and cause the terrain to shift and tear over the generations, causing their home mountain to literally 'travel'. Due to this, in the Goron native tongue, it is known that the words "Death" and "Journey" are the same, meaning that another possible name for their Mountain is "Wandering Mountain". Goron love to trade, and do so often with the other species. They are fine craftsmen and some have created technologies leaps ahead of other races, though they are rarely recognized for this. Goron craftsmanship is considered the greatest available, and a sword of Goron make to a Hylian is regarded as a priceless treasure. Due to the availability of high-quality ores in the Goron's living area, weapons made their tend to be both impeccably well made and forged with only the best metals. Gorons respect physical strength as a mark of dedication and faith, and as such, are a very strength-based society. While strategy and intelligent fighting are not looked down upon, cunning in combat is seen as extremely suspect and sneaky, if not unfair; Basically, one who fights with a strategy is seen as someone who has something to hide. =Mounts= While Gorons rarely need a steed for travel, due to their ability to transform into gigantic balls of stone, in the uncommon instances they do, only one species would be seen as proper for a Goron to ride: The Dodongo. From a similar strain of evolution as the Goron, the rock-eating lizards are known to be exceptionally violent and unreliable, however will bow to the superior strength of a Goron if broken properly. Like Gorons, some Dogongo can grow to massive sizes and become Dogongo Kings; They are capable of moving quickly on both the surface and in caves. [spoiler=Kokiri] --Kokiri--The fairy-children of the Forest, the Kokiri are the innocent guardians of many of Hyrule's secrets. They live in deep seclusion from all of the other races. =Physical Description= Kokiri are a race of timeless magic, and take the appearance of Hylian Children dressed in green clothing with pointed hats. Their physical capabilities are technically identical to the child stage of the Hylian species, however that is often neglect-able. Kokiri are imbued with fairy magic their entire lives, which gives them frighteningly potent abilities. They are capable of navigating the magic of the Lost Woods without trouble, and are close allies with the Fairy Folk, imbuing them with some of their abilities from over the years. Kokiri can regenerate damaged body parts with magic quickly, and fight offensively while upset with startling power. They are almost completely immune to magic used against them. Kokiri are immortal due to the powers of the Deku Tree (a spiritual being of the Goddess Farore) and the fairy folk. Each Kokiri is partnered with a Fairy, from which both are intended to learn and grant eachother abilities. Despite being associated with an Aspect of Courage, most Kokiri are content to stay in one area and simply play for long periods of time. Kokiri, due to being immortal and unable to develop physically, have little sense of time or memory. What is out of the ordinary to them is strange, and will probably be forgotten soon. They care little of what happens outside their small villages, and few seem to know or even care of species outside of their own. The Kokiri can be rude, childish, and even cruel at times due to their perpetual childhood. It is known that wandering too close to a Kokiri settlement will result in their combined magic being used to permanently cause the traveler to wander, until the magic eats away their life, transforming them into a Stalfos or Stal-Child without a sentient mind. Kokiri are associated with the element of Life, as they are perpetually alive and can enhance the growth of vegetation. Their temple, the Forest Temple, is upheld by the Sage of the Kokiri, and remains a testament to that fact. Anything within Kokiri forest that is mortal will not die of normal methods due to the latient magic of the fey people, but instead become a Stalfos or similar creature, perpetually in the twilight of life. Many of these creatures gather in the Forest temple, where they can be restrained by the Sage before they may threaten the Kokiri people. =History= Time has no meaning for the Kokiri, and indeed, means they have no history. The Lost Forest bleeds away memories to simple melodies swaying in the wind. However, far in the past of the forests and perhaps at the dawn of Hyrule itself, the Kokiri were made from the abandoned Hylian Children, the faries that took pity on them, and the essence of the Great Deku Tree himself. The Deku Tree looks upon the Kokiri fondly as children, but knows they are not meant to associate with the rest of the people of Hyrule, and thus keeps them as a closely-guarded secret. =Mounts=Kokiri have no inclination to travel, and therefor have no preferred mount. However, several Kokiri are profficient in taming wild life, and often play with the Wolves of the area- theoretically, were a Kokiri to wish to travel, a lupine steed would be ideal for them. [spoiler= Dark Mystic]--Dark Mystic--Mysterious entities from a realm parallel to Hyrule, the Dark Mystics were liberated by Ganondorf's Triforce of Power and, in return, aid him to conquer the land of Hyrule. They are a highly-magical people shrouded in Darkness and mystery. =Physical Characteristics=The Dark Mystic species is made up of three separate species; Rogue Hylian, Sheikah and the Gerudo. Rogue Hylian resemble their Hyrulean kin, but posses ghostly pale skin and white-silver hair. Like other Dark Mystics, their body had slowly began to be changed by the land they were brought to, resulting in glowing marks across their bodies, generally around the abdomen and head. Rogue Hylian changed as Dark Mystics live and breathe magic, as a part of them in all ways. Magic cannot approach them without either being dispersed, or converted into their own power. Either way, they are completely immune to any and all magical abilities. Rogue Hylian themselves have developed their own types of spell, based off the "Twilight Energies" of their home worlds, for which no adequate defense has been offered by the residents of Hyrule. Sheikah resemble the Rogue Hylian in several ways, but tend to cover themselves in visage-disguising cloaks or masks. They are noticeable by their savage, red eyes. The Sheikah are slightly less magically inclined than their Hylian brethren, but are no less dangerous. Sheikah magic is known to be 'implosionary'- As in, effecting their own body from the inside out. Sheikah are able to melt into the very shadows, teleport, and see through any untruth. Many Sheikah are even able to delve into other's minds.Sheikah are also incredibly skilled with any given weapon, even with slight training. More than one Hylian swordsman has made the cocky error of thinking they could match these gods of the blade, who live and breathe battle like they do air. Gerudo are an entirely different race than the Sheikah or Rogue Hylian, and show it in their modifications from their imprisonment. Unlike the Skeikah and Hylians, whose' skin paled from long periods outside of Hyrule, the Gerudo skin darkened to coal black, with glowing runes covering their arms, legs and midriff. Their heads, however, are strangely unblemished, as they keep their surprisingly bright red hair. Gerudo are odd in that they have a biological quirk, which allows them to only sire females. Legend says that once in a 100 years, a male Gerudo is born, however this has not occurred in the time that the Gerudo have been sealed. The Gerudo, like the Sheikah and Rogue Hylian, have gained magical abilities, however their talent lies within reality manipulation. Gerudo have the ability to influence events using their minds and wishes, to a certain extent altering the luck of the area; Many are even able to use this in order to create powerful weapons of the elements. Fighting a Gerudo is not recommended, as unlike the cocky Rogue Hylian and apathetic Sheikah, the Gerudo revel in battle and bloodshed, and will not stop their pursuit until their target is dead. =History=The situation of the Dark Mystics is highly shrouded in mystery, but some things have come to light. The Dark Mystics were all once of Hyrule themselves. After the Imprisoning War, in which the Demon King Ganondorf was sealed, retribution was taken on the Gerudo, whom the Hylians had decided were the cause of Ganondorf's creation. Entering into a long, drawn out war, a sect of the Sheikah (whom were secret protectors and assailants for the Royalty of Hyrule) was sent off to kill the leaders of the Gerudo opposition. However, a certain portion of the Sheikah were tired of life in the shadows of the Hylians, and desired a place in Hyrule for themselves. Joining with the Gerudo resistance and sharing key strategy, the combined team fought back against the Hylian Soldiers, who fell easily to both the skills of the desert race and the cunning of the crimson-eyed race. Several Hylians who disliked the war or the Hylian government migrated out during this time, including a large group who left for the Gerudo side of the war, fighting against their own race. For reproductive purposes, the Gerudo also kidnapped large amounts of men from camps, due to being unable to reproduce without such a source. The war raged for a long, extended time, but was eventually finished in favor of the Hylians. Building a large prison ground for the losing race, they began their systematic destruction of the three that hard turned against them- the traitor Sheikah, the rogue Hylians, and of course, the demonic Gerudo. In this period of helplessness, the defeated races looked for any kind of hope. Promisingly, however, came a young sage of Hylian descent, who promised salvation in the Shadows. Combining the latent magics of the Hylian, Gerudo and Sheikah, he reached for a power beyond that of the gods, from the shadows beyond the sacred realm. Fusing these combined shadows together, he created a source of power from whence Mages of incredible power among them could be created almost instantaneously. Spurred into action by this forbidden magic, however, came the Spirits of Light, representing the Gods of Hyrule. They used their own powers to heavily cripple the powers of this dark artifact, splitting it into four to be safeguarded. However, the dark sages as a result of the power had already been created, populating the great Gerudo City. And so, a powerful mirror was created at the height of Twilight, from which the God's powers extended and removed those with magic beyond the gods from the land, trapping them forever in a realm of perpetual Darkness. And from that day, nothing was heard of the races banished from Hyrule, until the Demon King broke his chains. [spoiler=Accepted Apps][spoiler=Blazinghydra (1)]Name: LyaGender: FemaleRace: ZoraPhysical Description: Lya is a fairly tall Zora female, about 6'2 and weighing roughly 70 pounds (An average amount for the hollow-boned race). Her body is compact and lithe, like most Zora, with a fair amount of muscle noticeable on her legs and arms. Her face contains more Hylian features than most other Zora, a jutting thin nose, a strong jaw, large green eyes and most notably, slightly pointed ears. The majority of Zora have no outward ear other than simple holes on either side of their head, however a small amount of them develop small, outward triangular ears similar to very short Hylian ears, placed as so they would fold downward while swimming and provide no extra drag, but consequently also harming her capacity for hearing underwater in such way.Like most Zora, her body is free of most outward excess fats that tend to crop up in earthbound species, giving her a curvy shape deemed attractive by most other races. Her chest, while obviously vacant of any mammary usually seen on a female sapient species, does extend outward farther than a male's (more than likely due to DNA not yet bred out of the Zora's genealogy, passed down from their original Hylian heritage).Unlike most female Zora with 'head flaps' made of additional skin that provide the usual purpose of hair, Lya has a rather long hair of whitish-silvery hair. While uncommon, hair is a gene often found in the lineage of the Royal Family of Hyrule, and she is often respected for it. While it does slow her down in the water, she was forbidden from cutting it less than a certain length as a child, which transcended into familiarity as an Adult, who keeps it down slightly passed the small of her back and ties it.Personality: Lya is known for being a balanced mix of coy and curious, often getting herself into trouble in the Zora Domain, despite being rather well-mannered and polite to people that she meets. She is unnable to control the urge to explore or check things out, even disregarding her own instincts about danger.Unlike most Zora, Lya never had a particular interest in legends, or tales of great deeds, instead opting to find out about them herself, personally. As a child, this usually resulted in her straying outside of Zora borders, giving her a reputation for wandering.Biography: Lya was born to a branch family of the current Royal Family, making her a Zora Noble. However, due to the social moors and understandings of the Zora, this accounts for very little but a distaste for her acting out; Someone closely related to the Royal Family is supposed to be a model child, to provide something for the other, less socially elite Zora children to aspire to, assumingly so they would more readily accept their monarch as adults. This did not happen to Lya, who instead decided to spend her time away from her peers, exploring and generally getting into mischeif constantly. Even as a child, she had been known to play around the boarder of Snowpoint, knew the caverns of the Zora Coral better than those who had lived there all their lives, and was bored out of her own skull. Her parents had little idea of what to do with her; Most Zora had little strive for adventure, and if they did, it was easily curbed into something manageable like a passion for swordplay. Not so, with Lya, who expressed disinterest in fighting as a whole, but continued her wanderings. While a teenager and being prepped for her jobs later in life, she was originally selected to become a Guard, a job usually reserved for males. While she kept in training for a long period of time, learning to fight both with weapons and her own fists fine, (though she did not appear to enjoy it), the actual duties of a guard were often less than exciting, and she dropped out after having been caught leaving her post several times, and often as not, falling asleep when she did follow commands. For a long period since then, Lya was employed as one of the few Zora selected as Cave Guides, to guide the other races who wished to visit the Zora Domain through the craggy, rocky lakeside path up to the Northern Summit. She enjoyed this profusely, being allowed to live and travel outside the Domain, and quickly found herself much more at home living in the wilderness of the lakeside than in the relative comfort of the Zora "Fishbowl". She spent most of her late teens and early period as an Adult as this, guiding guests both back and forth from the Domain. When the job began to get stale, Lya began to take extended vacations into the vast Lake Hylia, examining just a little more outside her border, and eventually even traveled to Fortunefall town, a bustling Hylian City that had once been Castle Town before the relocating of Hyrule's castle farther south. She began to spend more and more time around Fortunefall town, getting in trouble often with her superiors when she failed to guide the travelers to the Zora domain, and so returned to her job for several more months. She lasted for a fair amount of time, but eventually had to bow to the siren call of adventure. Using her savings of Rupees, she bought a Kani-Bari off an Old Zora who lived as a hermit on the path to the Zora Domain, and began her travels southward into the rest of Hyrule. While she is largely unaware of news on a whole and tries to shy away from danger when she isn't brought there by her curiosity, she instinctively avoids the now-captured Hyrule Castle and instead focuses her travels on the more rural towns of the races.Weapons of Choice: Lya uses a guard-standard Defense Spear, which more resembles a Halberd with its spear-like top but long cleaver-like blade above the shaft. Originally used to ward off violent wildlife in her travels, she keeps it in perfect condition as much as she can. The shaft is made from a very hard variety of Coral that can actually repair itself while in water, given enough time, with the blade made from a specialized hybrid of rustless steel.Steed: A Kani-Bari; a variety of Bari, jellyfish creatures that have developed electrical fields, designed for transportation. Kani-Bari are large, floating creatures that can move at a top speed about equal to the average horse' trot. They have no innate electrical field, however they can channel electrical busts through their many tentacles if necessary. While most Bari are vicious predators, the Kani bloodline makes them dependent upon other, smaller predators for food and survival, in this case the Zora. Kani-Bari are 98% water, and can dehydrate easy, so they must soak in a source of water (either salt or fresh, makes no difference to a Bari), at least once a week, once every three days during especially hot and dry times. [spoiler= Blazinghydra (2)]Name: Velen LionbladeGender: MaleRace: HylianPhysical Description: Fit, lithe Hylian, an exemplary member of the speices. Stands at about 6'4, with thin but strong arm and leg muscles and a strong chest. Hair is longish and ungroomed, giving it a kind of windswept look, but at it's longest never goes past his neck. Has bright green eyes that almost seem to shine in the dark, and a curiously battle-ready face, almost maniacal in its devotion to the task at hand.Ears are slightly longer than average, and face distinctly unmarred and somewhat feminine-seeming. Figure being thin but strong, can be seen as week or weifish from the back unless one looks closely to see the taunt muscles.Generally wears a self-made cloak of various emerald and moss-green fabrics over a battle-ready black leather tunic with an expensive-looking belt with several large pouches over it. Leggings are made of a comfortable, but tight enough to stop possible snags, fabric that does not break easy. On feet, wears a pair of small, light boots made for agility on mountainous or difficult terrain.Personality: Dedicated and fanatical are words occasionally used to describe Velen, who is meek and kind in other respects. The guy has an odd ability to zero in on something as an absolute truth, and dedicate all his powers and ability in order to fulfill what he thinks that he needs to do. This occasionally gets him into arguments with others, as he refuses to listen to logic or reason that contradicts with his own inner desires and truth. While not a bad guy in the least, he can do morally questionable things without a second thought if he honestly believes that are unavoidable, and when not doing something related to his quest, he feels restless and uneasy. While not doing something related to his quest, he is shy, easy to get along with, and very respectful. He wouldn't hurt a fly unless he believed it went against his inner gospel. While Velen does not spare much time for romance, he noticed innocuously that he was equally attracted to males as he was to females, though he hasn't really had time to figure more about that else-wise.Biography: Son of Ulric Lionblade, one of the members of the Hylian Knights and the eventual successor to the Lionblade dukeship, Velen has long been entertained by stories of his father involving honor, righteous death and the exploits of heroes. As he grew, he was taught by the best swordsmen in all of Hyrule, the Hylian Knights themselves, and studied their ways and traditions with vigor, learning their doctrine and committing it to heart and memory. As he grew up, the myths of the legendary Hero of Times fascinated and transfixed him; the idea of a Hero, brought up to fight against injustice even while just a child, enthralled him and gave him purpose, to emulate the hero. He spent all of his adolescence learning the ways of the Knights, the way to fight, the way to have honor, and of course to uphold justice above all else; Eventually he became squire to famous Hylian Knight, Archduke Sol Hawkfeather, and learned from him personally along with his father. When the Dark Mystics inevitably attacked Hyrule Castle, Spearheaded by Ganondorf, the Hylian Knights were the final line of defense between them and the Castle itself; it was a slaughter. Despite the Hylian Knight's magical prowess and skill with the blade, they were nearly helpless against the Triforce of Power and the ridiculous skills of the Dark Mystics. The entire line of the Knights was slaughtered before Velen's eyes, who was told to retreat along with the women and children of the castle, and protect them. The image of Ganondorf's demonic visage among the burning ruins of the castle was forever scarred into his memory, as he began the ideas to begin his quest with. After saving the women and children under his jurisdiction, he picked up his former master's second best blade from his abode in Fortunefall town; a pure blade of Goron make, made to the standards of a Hylian Knight, and one of his master's steed that he had been permitted to ride; a Riding Kagaroc called Bushi.Weapons of Choice: A single blade, long and edged on one side, thinner than average but sharp enough to cleave through nearly anything. The blade is the standard of the Hylian Knights, and is considered among the best quality weapons of Hyrule. It is made from tempered Goron Steel, and is kept in an ornate, black and gold scabbard slung across Velen's shoulder. The blade's name is Goldnail. Also keeps a Longbow with a quiver.Steed: An adolescent Riding Kagaroc named Bushi. Temperamental but loyal, the flying creature is large enough to carry two people of average Hylian weight, but can only go quickly with one. The steeds have little self preservation instincts while their rider is on them, so battle tactics while in the air are required to be known by the rider personally; Unfortunately, Velen never finished his education in this matter. [spoiler= Chant (1)]Name: TeliaeGender: MaleRace: Half Kokiri, half Hylian. So unlike the regular Kokiri, he has stopped aging at the age of 15.Physical Description: Having purple hair while being blind, he was often made fun of by the other Kokiri children. He is 5'6" in height and 122 lbs. in weight. His skin color is a light tan color, while he usually wears a dark blue vest, with a pair of dark blue pants. His hair is often found being incredibly long, reaching down to his knees. Occasionally he cut's it, but it grows back all too quickly. Teliae has somewhat of a less-than-muscley appearance, but somehow he can still match a Goron in a test of Strength.Personality: He is incredibly headstrong, usually not sticking around long enough to listen to instructions when they are being told. Stubborn, but intelligent. When he is proved wrong, he'll admit it. But when there is no proof, he will continue the argument. He is in a deep depression, until he meets his noble lupine pal.Biography: Teliae's mother was an adult Kokiri, who, explored outside of their small village in the Kokiri Forest. While exploring the area of Hyrule Field near the Castle Town, she chanced upon a handsome young Hylian man, who sat there upon his horse, gazing at the woman who appeared to be a child. The next day, they said their farewells and she returned to the Kokiri Village. A year later, she died giving birth to a young boy. The young boy grew up to be Teliae, who, was trained in the ways of the Goron by a traveling Goron merchant who stopped in the woods on his way to Death Mountain and adopted the four year old Teliae. After which, the Goron named Daruuni taught him how to use his feet and fists to fight, instead of "simple pieces of sharp metal" as Daruuni would say. Day after day, Daruuni would train Teliae relentlessly, day and night. Eventually, Daruuni caught a terrible disease, common among the Gorons. Before he died, Daruuni gave his secret to great strength; the Diamond Gauntlets, and Diamond Boots. For some reason Teliae can withstand great heats, but that is likely due to having lived around a place as hot as Death Mountain all his life.Weapons of Choice: Diamond Gauntlets; which, has diamonds studded into the knuckles, and Diamond Boots which have diamonds studded into the toe area of them.Steed: A wolf, which, has an oddly colored fur on his tail. The color is an odd purple-ish-blue color. (Does not get until he returns to the Kokiri Forest.) [spoiler= Chant (2)]Name: Arscilearia (Leari for short)Gender: FemaleRace: HylianPhysical Description: Black hair which when shone in the light, or when wet, becomes a beautiful dark blue which goes well with her purple eyes. Has the appearance of a unusually short 13 year old, but she is actually the age of 15. Her hair is usually messed up, never taking the time to actually fix it in the morning. except when forced to by her older sister, which she only does when meeting somebody important, or on a special occasion. Leari has a short stature, with short legs, but runs very fast. Doesn't look it, but she could hold her own against a fully grown Hylian adult.Personality: Very, very, VERY shy. Doesn't say much, and after seeing him in the castle town of Hyrule, she begins to harbor a secret crush on Teliae.Biography: (I'm not good at doing female biographies...) At the small age of 4 her father passed on, and with that, her mother committed suicide. Her older sister Relanaria (Nari) was forced to work 2 jobs, just to put food on the table. And that was with Leari gathering around ten to twenty rupees a day in the fields outside of the castle. 2 years later, Arscilearia began to train to become a Hylian Knight, knowing it was the only way her and her sister could survive. 4 years later, she became a master in the ways of archery, and was eventually hired to protect caravans on their way to other towns or cities. She became a knight in 3 more years, at the age of 13, and was taught how to use a spear for both attacking with the blades and with the stave part of it. She is now fifteen, and is in the Elite Kargaroc Riders Squadron of the Hylian Knights. She still helps her sister with food, and money, and still protects caravans for some extra cash when she has some free time.Weapons of Choice: Bow and Arrow, spear (double-sided).Steed: Her father was a Hylian Knight, so when he passed on, he gave his Kargaroc to her, in hopes she would treat it well. She has named her Kargaroc Faro, after the Goddess of Courage, Farore. [spoiler= Fenrir]Name: Holland DilgearGender: MaleRace: HumanPhysical Description: About 6'3 with messy dark brown hair. He sports an unkempt appearance, with his messy hair and chin stubble. He has yellow eyes, and is lightly tanned. He is well-built and wears simple leather armor, resembling an archer's wear. Three bomb bags hang from the back of his armor, hidden. He sports a quiver on his right shoulder. Meaning he shoots with his left. The leather is darkened, and he often wears a scarf around his mouth and neck.Personality: He's generally sarcastic, and witty. He prefers to use stealth as compared to other races, mostly because they have some sort of racial trait that puts him at a disadvantage. Due to his sneaky habits, people don't trust him. This makes him a bit self conscious about himself. When face to face with new people, he takes time to cross-examine them, to look at their personality and habits.Biography: Holland Dilgear was born to a family of inventors. Naturally, he had a good lifestyle. His father was a bomb merchant, creating and testing various types of bombs to sell and trade. His mother specialized in weaponry and armory. She had owned a mine and warehouse for these things, and she was well known throughout Hyrule. On Summers they would travel around Hyrule, and Holland learned the cultures from different tribes in his travels. One winter however, his father died in an experimental bomb testing. His mother, filled with grief, took Holland to Snowpeak. There, she hired several Yeti's to build a mansion. When finished she took in some Yetis to be workers and cleaners in the house. There, Holland lived for most of his life. He was 10 when all of this happened. Although his mother had stopped creating new weaponry and armory, she did inspire Holland to take up inventing. At the age of 14, he had recreated 3 types of bombs that his father had made. Although his mother disapproved of this, he continued. By the age of 16, his mother died. Her death was due to a sickness. At this point, he decided to leave the mansion. He left it to a Yeti couple.Weapons of Choice: A Longbow, and several different types of bombs. He also sports a large hunting dagger in case of close combat.Steed: A Bullbo by the name of Avalanche. Unlike other Bullbo, it's fur is snow white and has much more fur. It's fur spikes backward, and is tipped in silver. Holland found him one night as a small piglet, and took him in as a pet. [spoiler= Dark Hero Flashman]Name: Lua'Thre [most call her just Lua]Gender: FemaleRace: GerudoPhysical Description: Like all imprisoned Gerudo, Lua has coal skin with blue glowing runes that over her legs, mid rift, and arms, though no one sees them under her clothing. Her red hair is tied in the back into a long flowing ponytail. As with all Gerudo's her eyes are golden, though they do change colors depending on her mood. Her outfit is standard black armor, though nothing too heavy in weight so not to reduce her speed and agility. A half mask covers the bottom of her face. At her hips hang twin scimitars, embedded with runes from a forgotten language. Her bottom half is covered with leggings that aid her in stealthy recon, making her movements unheard as she stalks her prey. On her feet rest tabi, or what look like tabi [also known as ninja shoes], making her footsteps soft as if she were walking on air.Personality: Stubborn and strong-willed, she was raised to believe that only men who could face her in a fight were worthy of her recognition. Otherwise, she was to call them ‘male’ or ‘boy’. Females who were weaker than her deserved her sympathy, though that in itself was condescending to her race. However, she was to help them in becoming stronger any way she could, such as taking advantage of them and then pointing out their flaw in believing her words. Lua is serious in her beliefs that those she considers comrades come first and that anyone who harms them is her enemy. Don’t be fooled into thinking she’s blind to their faults, though, because she’ll bluntly point them out. The thrill of a good battle always makes her excited while the opposite can be said for one who opposes her and is weak (she becomes angry). She’s always looking for the next strong opponent who will give her the battle of a lifetime and make her stronger.Biography: Lua grew up knowing only the Gerudo's way of life. From the time she was five, she was training her muscles, both body and mind, of how to become a warrior. There were no handouts and she had to learn how to fend for herself and even learn how to take advantage of other girls her age. Despite the hardships, she loved her tribe and the land they lived in. When she was seventeen, she set off on a journey to learn more about the ways of the world and had not returned for a long period of time to her beloved Gerudo Valley. It had all seemed peaceful, even though there was talk about an opening in the desert that had opened up during one of their hunting sessions. Nothing seemed to come out of it, so they only set up two guards for sentry duty until they could figure out if it was man-made or if nature had taken its course. Suddenly, a month later, darkness began to spew out of the rift and swallowed up the guards. The only reason anyone knew of it was because it happened while a fresh set of guards had been coming out to relieve the old set. An alarm was sounded and the Gerudos took up their fighting stances. Lua, however, took one look at the figure that was coming towards Gerudo Fortress and was struck with cold fear for the first time in her life. She yelled at others closer at the front lines to fall back, but they were swallowed up and shrieks were heard. A Gerudo, or who used to be a Gerudo, emerged slightly from the blackness and had been changed into a grotesque figure. Lua abandoned her post, screaming at those close to her to fall back. Some had not seen what she had and refused to move, while others followed after Lua. The blackness was quickly swallowing up Gerudo Fortress and all those in its way. Lua continued to run as others behind her fell to its clutches. She was nearly out of the desert, entering into Hyrule Fields, when the darkness struck her. Lua blacked out and awoke a few hours later to see that even the entrance was completely engulfed in darkness. She also discovered, when the sun began to set, that blue runes were on various parts of her body. To her, they serve as a reminder of how she abandoned her tribe and home. She doesn’t know if anyone else at Gerudo Fortress survived the attack. It wasn't until the Imprisonment War, that Lua was forced to return to the Gerudo grounds, still covered in the darkness. Needless to say, during that war, Lua's side lost, and was banished to the realm with Ganondorf. In her seclusion with the others, she slowly became mad. Her mind twisted and warped into that of a cold killer. Now the time has come for the Dark Mystics to take over Hyrule, and reclaim their former lands.Weapons of Choice: Twin Scimitars, not much is known about them, but its said that they control the powers of Fire and Ice. [spoiler= Dark Phoenix]Name: Vangelion Kyro.Gender: MaleRace: HylianPhysical Description: Hylian is approximately 6 feet, 3.8 inches tall. His hair extends to the nape of his neck, just past shoulder length, unbound and flowing in the wind. His eyes are a deep purple, like poison. He wears the usual Hylian tunic, but with a thick plate of armour underneath it. He bears strange markings (similar to those found on Ganondorf) on both his arms, left cheek, and forehead, prouly embracing his fellow Dark Mystics. His legs are covered with a tough dragonic like metal plates, that glow when we takes a step (he prefers to embrace his enemy, and leave stealthy tactics to others).Personality: Vangelion is a smooth talker. In battle, his lips alone have the power to seduce practically any being, with his toxic words, and his evil charm. He's often quiet, and generally does not speak with anyone other than Ganondorf, when he is so priviledged. He tends to dance when he fights, but not to the point of an outbreak in number. But like a Spartan warrior who fights for Apollo. His movements are fluid in everything he does. He seeks to grow stronger inwardly and outwardly, while destroying anything, or anyone who gets in his way of victory. Ruthless to the bone, he loves a good battle, but never has he spared a life.Biography: Vangelion was an early appraisal at the Dark King's feet. He was raised blood thirsty, a diabolical warrior from head to toe. After his family was banished (he was still in the womb), his mother and father were found by the Dark King, but they were only spared for their child. Afterwards, they were no longer of any use, and were sleign instantly. He does not sleep well at night, because the corruption of his mind keeps him awake. This however, has given him a great mind. Expanding his knowledge, increasing his mind capacity, and broading his abilities and atheleticism. Vangelion knows little of his original Hylian history, but he does not favor it regardless; he knows only his fellow Dark Mystics. Within them he has grown, and with their power Hyrule would quickly fall.Weapons of Choice: Dragon-hide whip, poison dagger (a last

(Does not get until he returns to the Kokiri Forest.)[spoiler=RP Example (Note: Not all of my posts will be like this. I'm putting all I've got into this, and I will only do so during this Roleplay during an important fight or something.)] Upon a ruined rock ledge in the mouth of Death Mountain, a young man stood, purple hair waving in the wind, catching ashes that spat up from the lava below. "Hmm... Why is the volcano this active...?" He pondered this thought, sitting on a large pedestal with a design of three triangles on it. "Teliae!" A Goron beckoned towards the youth. Teliaes head popped up as if in surprise, and stared longingly at the Goron. He sighed, running towards the Goron, who, appeared to be over-sized for a teenager Goron. "Yes, Dashaaru?" He called back. It was clear that these two had some sort of relationship, whether it be rivals, enemies or brothers. "The Elders want to see you. Now." Teliae looked shocked; he had never heard his friend speak in such a manner. "Roll back, tell them I'm coming." He said lazily, just now standing up. Dashaaru jumped, transforming into a rolling stone towards the Goron Village. Teliae sighed once again, walking out of the entrance he had blasted open with a bomb. He looked over Kakariko Village, realizing that there would one day be destruction and pain even in this peaceful haven. He continued to tread quickly on the stone until he reached a new hole in a wall. "What..." He looked puzzled, so he entered only to find a beautiful fountain, with many fairies prancing around. Teliae heard a shrill laugh, raising his guard. Out of nowhere a floating woman appeared. "I am a Great Fairy!" She simply stated, to the now even more confused Teliae. She laughed her shrill laugh; "I shall replenish your energy, if you shall allow me young traveler!" Teliae nodded, and a surge of energy flowed into him. "Th-Thank you?" He said, still not quite grasping the situation. "Good bye!" The fairy laughed once more, and she was gone. He walked out and said, "That was... disturbing. It looked like all she was wearing were plants..." He shivered and continued up the path. "You sure as hell took your time." Dashaaru laughed. "Yeah yeah yeah Mr. 'I'm the Rockin Roller!'" They shared a friendly laugh, and continued inside the village, making jokes, giving each other mock punches in the arms. Dashaarus head perked up, "Damn! I left my good rocks at home; my sisters probably eating them right now." He looked ticked. "Go roll off some steam." Teliae hoped he heeded his advice. He started grumbling, walking away. "Yeah... I'll roll off some steam... Right onto that little brat." His eye twitched, and he rolled off towards his cave. Teliae walked into the Elders Room without knocking, or presenting himself first. "Teliae. Adopted son of Daruuni. You have been chosen to be the messenger for the Gorons to the Kokiri Forest. We are going to send three gifts; one to Hyrule, one to the forest, and the other to the Zoras. Do not worry, the Zora messenger will be meeting in the middle of Hyrule Field, not anywhere near water." The Elder explained. "If I decline?" Teliae questioned. "This is NOT optional, young boy. You were previously from that village, therefore you are the perfect candidate for the messenger. Now go!" The Elder barked. "Tch..." Teliae stopped before exiting. "Is Dashaaru one of the messengers?" He asked with a cold tone of voice. "Yes, he is the messenger to Hyrule." The Elder said emotionlessly. Teliae continued walking out, quickly stopping every rolling Goron in sight, except Dashaaru, who was rolling right at him. Teliae HATED being told what to do. "You okay?" Dashaaru asked. "Yes, and they want to see you now." He said, still walking out of the Village. "Okay." Dashaaru, well, dashed quickly towards the Elder Cave. Teliae jumped off the side of Death Mountain, stopping about half way and grabbing onto the cragged rock wall. He didn't stop, but he slowed so as to not be killed by the fall. He landed smack dab in the middle of Kakariko Village, running out of it in a blur.
Hydra of Ages
You were right the first time, you HAVE to write up a completely new one (treat it as your introductory post), but if you want, you can ALSO put in an example from a previous RP. App looks good so far, though.
fenrir
Reservation? This looks like an interesting RP, but the app is long enough for me to need to take time away from my busy schedule to work on it. =I
Immortal Chaos
Name: Lua'Thre [most call her just Lua]Gender: FemaleRace: GerudoPhysical Description: Like all imprisoned Gerudo, Lua has coal skin with blue glowing runes that over her legs, mid rift, and arms, though no one sees them under her clothing. Now the time has come for the Dark Mystics to take over Hyrule, and reclaim their former lands.Weapons of Choice: Twin Scimitars, not much is known about them, but its said that they control the powers of Fire and Ice.RP Example: [spoiler=Zelda RP]The morning sun broke over the mountains and illuminated the land in its soft glow of dawn. The rising sunlight beamed into a hole in a tent that had been pitched for it's owner's sleep. Waking slowly the Gerudo looked around and sighed. She knew it was morning, and that her traveling would begin as soon as she packed, but she didn't want to wake up just yet. Stretching as she exited the tent, she took in the surroundings of the nearby mountain range, and the valley below the cliff she had camped out near. Kicking a rock over the edge she shook her head, trying to make her golden eyes adjust to the new morning light. Looking back at her tent, she walked slowly to the campsite. It wasn't long before she had put the embers of the night's fire out, and started to pull down the tent itself. Rolling it up she tied it tight, then attached it to her pack. She looked back over the veiw she had woken up to. With the sun rising up into the sky, she would be wise to move before many passer's by would be coming her way. Hope its ok. This was just to get a feel for her character. Actual posts will deal with the rp of course. [spoiler=Other RP]This is from a different site in which I RP a character named Scythe. Hope its ok....As the night crept into the world of the living, Scythe found himself unable to rest. He tossed and turned as the moon slowly rose into the sky, illuminating the floorboards in their soft silvery glow. Slowly he sat up in his bed, looking around the room. He shifted, resting his feet on the floor, slowly standing up, grabbing a shirt from the dresser nearby. The house was silent as he walked down the hallway, a lone candle illuminating his way. He walked slowly, trying not to creak the floorboards. It was an old house, and maintaining it was hard. He had meant to redo the floor, but other, more pressing matters always took his attention. He came to a partially open door, pushing it fully open. Creeeeeaaaakkkk... the door opened on it's needed to be oiled hinges. Scythe walked in, over to the small crib that laid by the window, under the sparkling glow of moonlight. He set the candle on the dresser, picking up the small infant who slept in the crib. The babe didn't stir as Scythe picked up her slender figure. He drew back the blanket from her face, exposing the ashen skin to his eyes. A small smile crept to his face as he sat in a nearby rocking chair, holding the babe as she slept. He looked over her features as he rocked slowly. Memories played out in his mind of how the babe in his arms came to be in his home.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The night of her birth would forever be seared into his memory. It was storming, lightning crashed, rain pelted the ground. It was this night a young girl would be brought into the world. Her mother cried in pain. Blood coated the bed linens as she was forced into labor. As the nurses and midwives scurried around trying to help the mother deliver the babe. Scythe lurked in the shadows of the room, hiding for fear of being spotted by the dark one who ruled the house. it was at the thought of him, the dark one stormed into the room. Pushing the midwives away, he looked at the babe, then the babes mother. "What is this...this abomination? The mother's face sank, even though she was holding the infant in her arms, the very life she had carried for 9 months. "Its a girl...." She whispered, tired from labor. The dark one snarled. "She is not of my blood...." With that, the dark one drew his blade. Scythe's instincts took over. Leaping from the shadows, right as the blade would have struck the babe, Scythe snatched her from her mother's arms. Scythe stood with the crying infant in his arms. "You conceded wretched so called god.....You would destroy a new life because you did not create it?" The dark one snarled as he watched Scythe. "You will not harm this infant, not ever." Scythe looked over at the newborns mother and smiled sadly. Covering the newborn, he leapt out of the window, crashing to the ground. Rain pelted him as he ran, still holding the bundle to his chest, running with a determination he hadn't known for some time. He stopped under a large hollow tree, uncovering the babe's face. The child's brilliant green eyes looked up into Scythe's icy blue orbs. "Like your mothers...." He whispered. "You will live with me babe, I'll keep you safe until your mother can find you." And with that he ran into the night, his bundle tucked safely against him.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- He snapped back to reality, realizing the babe was crying. He looked down at her green eyes again, rocking still as he began to sing a lullaby to the babe. "Hush little baby....dont say a word. Daddy's gonna buy you a mockingbird...and if that mockingbird dont sing....Daddy's gonna buy you a diamond ring...." And the rest of the night, Scythe spent with the babe, making sure she would be safe. She was his responsibility, she was his Lua-Threa Fre-ath. Dad
Sign-up Form, Dark Mystic Name: Vangelion Kyro.Gender: MaleRace: HylianPhysical Description: Hylian is approximately 6 feet, 3.8 inches tall. His legs are covered with a tough dragonic like metal plates, that glow when we takes a step (he prefers to embrace his enemy, and leave stealthy tactics to others). Personality: Vangelion is a smooth talker. Within them he has grown, and with their power Hyrule would quickly fall. Weapons of Choice: Dragon-hide whip, poison dagger (a last resort, usually for instnataneous kills), and a thick purple staff.RP Example: The distraught skies sat proudly amongst the skies. He couldn't help but notice the skies moving towards the East, dragging their powerful storms with them. Toying with his Barrows Staff, he waited for the enemy to attack, the taunting and daunting ring of the whistels of death in his ear. As the opponent lunged, he swiiftly ducked under his enemy's savage swing of his sword, tripping and pinning him to the ground in one fell swoop. The enemy's head to the edge of this cliff, the fight was over. [spoiler=Role-play Sample]While the others paced themselves and prepared for battle, Shiro breathed quietly across the street from Urahara's shop. "All's quiet outside," he thought, watching the night clouds float lazily by. He couldn't help but wonder if there was an entity still plaguing the area, because he knew that the Hollow would not simply let the human world remain peaceful. A cold shiver ran through him, and he was rarely frightened. He hopped from his bed and opened the apartment window, placing his legs outside and sitting on the sill. His kimono lay across his lap now, as he took it down form his shoulder. "Time to move," he said in his head. He leapt from the 8th story of the building and landed quiet at the foot of the apartment building, moving slowly towards Urahra's shop. "Sure hope Sandal Hat has some medicines." he finally said aloud.

fenrir
Name: Holland DilgearGender: MaleRace: HumanPhysical Description: About 6'3 with messy dark brown hair. When face to face with new people, he takes time to cross-examine them, to look at their personality and habits. Biography: Holland Dilgear was born to a family of inventors. He left it to a Yeti couple. Weapons of Choice: A Longbow, and several different types of bombs. [spoiler=RP Example]"Heel Avalanche, heel!" With this, Avalanche skidded to a halt. He barely stopped before a large frozen tree. As Avalanche snuffed and grunted, Holland dismounted him. As he landed on the ground, the snow made a crunching sound under his boots. He walked calmly over to the frozen tree, known as Snowpeak Point. Walking over to the edge, he pulled out a small dark brown telescope. He scanned through the mountains, as if he knew something was there. Nothing. Maybe the occasional wolf or Yeti. If he was lucky a bear. "I swear I thought I could feel something..." He muttered to himself. Avalanche grew impatient, and stomped once, signifying that he didn't like where he was standing. "Alright alright." Was all Holland said. He slammed his telescope shut and put it away, mounting Avalanche once more. Not sure if the RP example is good enough. Hydra of Ages
Bumping this, may as well add the first my own characters also. [spoiler=Lya]Name: LyaGender: FemaleRace: ZoraPhysical Description: Lya is a fairly tall Zora female, about 6'2 and weighing roughly 70 pounds (An average amount for the hollow-boned race). Her body is compact and lithe, like most Zora, with a fair amount of muscle noticeable on her legs and arms. Her face contains more Hylian features than most other Zora, a jutting thin nose, a strong jaw, large green eyes and most notably, slightly pointed ears. The majority of Zora have no outward ear other than simple holes on either side of their head, however a small amount of them develop small, outward triangular ears similar to very short Hylian ears, placed as so they would fold downward while swimming and provide no extra drag, but consequently also harming her capacity for hearing underwater in such way. Like most Zora, her body is free of most outward excess fats that tend to crop up in earthbound species, giving her a curvy shape deemed attractive by most other races. Her chest, while obviously vacant of any mammary usually seen on a female sapient species, does extend outward farther than a male's (more than likely due to DNA not yet bred out of the Zora's genealogy, passed down from their original Hylian heritage). Unlike most female Zora with 'head flaps' made of additional skin that provide the usual purpose of hair, Lya has a rather long hair of whitish-silvery hair. While uncommon, hair is a gene often found in the lineage of the Royal Family of Hyrule, and she is often respected for it. While it does slow her down in the water, she was forbidden from cutting it less than a certain length as a child, which transcended into familiarity as an Adult, who keeps it down slightly passed the small of her back and ties it. Personality: Lya is known for being a balanced mix of coy and curious, often getting herself into trouble in the Zora Domain, despite being rather well-mannered and polite to people that she meets. She is unnable to control the urge to explore or check things out, even disregarding her own instincts about danger. Unlike most Zora, Lya never had a particular interest in legends, or tales of great deeds, instead opting to find out about them herself, personally. Kani-Bari are 98% water, and can dehydrate easy, so they must soak in a source of water (either salt or fresh, makes no difference to a Bari), at least once a week, once every three days during especially hot and dry times.[spoiler= RP Example:]Lya felt the light breeze of the nearby lake as she glided by, the brisk air blowing her hair back slightly. She smiled; It always felt good to get out into the fresh air. While she liked the cities of the Hylian and Human, they always seemed a little too closed-in for her. She especially disliked roofs. The Zora domain was only barely covered by a sheet of rock in some spots, while others were open to accept the sun readily. She felt a brief pang of homesickness at the thought of her old Domain, but shoved it away, opting to instead enjoy the sweet smell of the flowers and air of Hyrule Field. Pele twitched beneath her; She blinked a little, and stroked the clear creature's cranium slightly. She crooned a little. "Something wrong?" She said in a concerned tone, exaggerated enough to make the creature understand. Bari lacked eyesight or sound; They could only understand what she was saying by virtue of her body language and the 'aura' she put off. Luckily, Pele was very perceptive, and could often get his message across.Pele made a strange groaning sound back. Lya nodded slightly, and patted him. It seemed that Pele was being homesick too- he disliked floating over the open fields, and wanted to soak again. He would have an oppertunity soon- they had been traveling for over five days, and his body mass had already shrunk about 20%.She glanced over at the small river by her side. It might do in a pinch, but she would rather not jump into a stream only a meter or two deep to soak in. She picked up the reigns (the ends affixed to the Bari's left and right extreme tentacles), and flicked them; the sign to speed up, the end is in sight.
