Okay my teacher gave me a riddle, Beaver + Deer + Polar bear = 3.29, He said is this equation true? Thanks for posting.

The first thing that popped into my head was money, Beaver= 5 cents. Deer= 25 cents. Polar Bear=2$.

Add that together and you get 2.30($)

Which isn't the number in the riddle. So I would have to say no, the equation is not true.

 

EDIT: Of course I am talking about Canadian currency. So change that to your own currency and see if it is right.
