luke15buckley
well star dust assault is the same as star dust dragon which is the one i have.why not equip ribbon of rebirth to stardust dragon and use the effect to negate and destroy a card. then ribbon of rebirth will bring the dragon back to the field. El Majishan
---^ having 1 out is game Not really. Force them to negate something then remove SDDAM from play and its pretty much game. D.D Crow, Kycoo even Soul Release for the lulz can stop him.

Learn to play. Assault can negate any effect, while Stardust can only negate effects that destroy cards. And Ribbon of Rebirth only works when the monster is destroyed by battle *face-palm at noobs in tcg section*
Dark_Armed_Zombie
how could you lose' date=' 3000beatstick with a negation effect thrown in, add a Marshmallon to the field and your set for protection, adding more SDAM gives a higher protection against more cards,(still waiting for Goyo Guardian AM, Black Rose Dragon AM, Junk Warrior AM, etc...)[/quote'] Except that none of those will EVER come out. Besides, how would you make BRD's effect better except for maybe "Once, you can remove 1 Plant from your grave. All of your opponent's monsters are changed to attack position and have their attacked reduced to 0 until the end phase." OP much? Especially since preceding would probably be "When this card is summoned, destroy all other cards on the field." Though that would reduce the effectiveness of the previous effect. I would find something like Trident Dragon/Assault Mode very, VERY funny XD

GenzoTheHarpist
---^ having 1 out is game If you're a terrible player maybe. If you have other spells/traps out to back him up there's a definite chance he'll get you game. By himself though I admit he's not all that. He mainly beatsticks and allows you to use your other cards with impunity.
-Berserker-
Mataza the Zapper + Metalmorph beats SDDAM. At least in the videogame.
deathxy
BRD assault destroy all cards on the field and hand, then you can add 1 level 4 or lower plant type monster from your deck to your hand SDDAM negate metalmorhp and kill mataza later SDDAM is not game, but is very annoying

Exiro
The only problem w/ your theory: Your opponent can do more than 1 thing per turn  true but if you negate the right thing you cripple your opponents turn lioke negating charge what are they going to do now that they can't search and get their way out of a bad hand? I know doesn't seem possible but when you think about it you stardust assault out against lightsworn' date=' [u']they charge you negate[/u] @TC: The Meta will still reamin a one-sided Lightsworn deck.Stardust Assault is good and all' date=' but if your Opponent doesnt beat you before you get Assault mode out, then they are doing it wrong.[/quote'] Not at all. Stardust Buster can be summoned during the first turn and the LS player wouldn't have had a chance to prevent it from happening. They'll have to try and work around it. The problem is simply that Buster decks aren't consistent.
