Quzo
Ok, I don't know if anyone has come up with any thing like this before. I was hoping to create a new sub-type for these new sorts of monsters but yugioh card maker will not allow me too as I can only choose from pre-exsisting sub-types which is a shame. So anyway, I want deck based around normal monsters to be more vesitile and since I am curretnly working on a deck based around Cú Cathulian, the Awakened cards like these that i have created would be very useful to me if they where to be made into an actual sub type of effect monsters. I really think that they should bring back the effect tick box option! This is how a Reverse Gemini would work (example card description): When this card is summoned (including Flip Summon and speacial Summon) or flipped face-up change the battle position of 1 monster on the field. (face-down monsters are flipped face up). Once this effect has resolved this monster is treated as a Normal Monster untill it is removed from the field. And this is how a Temporary Effect Monster would essentialy work: When a monster is summoned while this card is face-up on the field (including Flip Summon and Speacial Summon) increase the ATK and DEf of this card by 500 points for each monster summoned until the end phase of the turn. This monster is treated as a Normal Monster untill its effect is activated and after its effect has resolved. So in short they would only be treated as effect monsters when their effect needs to be activated. Think of it as like Dr. Jekl and Mr. hyde. Link to comment
gravestone
good idea. that would be helpful. Link to comment
SushiTheLegend
No point commenting on this until you actually post some cards. v.v Link to comment
Quzo
Why is there no point commenting? These are merley theories. Of course I could make card based around them. Though I just wanted to show case how my new sub-types would work. Link to comment
SushiTheLegend
I mean that we can't really comment the theory/idea until it's put into practice, and since this is a written cards section putting some examples of how this would work will be helpful. Link to comment
