How do you make an animation {LOCK PLZ}

Ive looked for tuts, but I cant find a tut that uses gimp or paint ms. can someone help me using anything otherthan photoshop or something you have to buy?

Well you won't be able to make great animations without Photoshop. Unless it's something like a sprite animation.

I believe pivot is a free animation software. Look it up. You can also make animations with MSpaint and movie maker, but it's probably a tremendous pain in the ass, or you could rip a copy of flash or photoshop. You can also do basic animations with GIMP, which is also free.

To use MSpaint, you basically have to make your drawing, then change it for the next frame, then do a save as, etc. Then once you've saved enough frames, you can put them into movie maker and record voices etc.

I don't know how to do GIMP though.

As long as I know you can only create animation on Pivot or Adobe Photoshop. Pivot usually creates stick animations while Adobe Photoshops can create basic animations, such as moving by tween. No other programs. I even don't know how to use GIMP as to create an animation.

Hey cat man thx for the tut but how do you save it as an animation(and how do you post it).

Save it as a .gif, and when it gives you the option, click the Save as an Animation circle. Then go to some place like Tinypic, upload it, copy the img code and paste it where you want to post it.
