When Worlds Collide...

 

[spoiler=Chapter One]

It had been two months since the end of the Winter War, many Shinigami lay dead because of the fierce battles. Their are only four individuals that can say they survived the Winter War, they are SG Yamamoto, Byakuya Kuchiki, Toushiro Hitsugaya, and Retsu Unohana...

 

Yamamoto faced his remaining Captains, he looked into the faces of the three survivors and looked back down at the floor.

 

"Head Captain, why have you called on us?" Retsu Unohana asked quietly.

Yamamoto did not answer he contiunued staring at the floor, his glance shifted towards Byakuya Kuchiki.

 

"Retsu, I have called on you for your weekly Captain's meeting!"

 

This fact shocked Unohana because she thought that with so few Captains the Soul Society would have to close all activites before promoting new heads, but she let Yamamoto finish.

 

Yamamoto went back to looking at his spot on the ground and tried to continue.

 

Yamamoto was interuppted by Toushiro Hitsugaya "But Captain, why?" he asked quizzically.

 

"I had to make a deal, with certain people in the human world" Yamamoto answered. "Without their reiatsu or as they call it chakra, we" he stopped "I would've never had the power to use the killing kidou!" Yamamoto paused...

 

Unohana spoke "So, if it was a true deal, what did you have to give up?" she questioned and took a sip of tea.

 

Head Captain also sat down and took a sip of tea and answered "If they would give us their reiatsu, we would help them defeat their enemy!" he concluded and awaited questions...

 

Toushiro was the first to respond "So we gotta go to the Human World and fight off... Humans?". He looked confused and rightfully so, he had not been in any Soul Repeaper's duties since Momo's burial.

 

"Yes, but these are not regular Humans, they possess magic!" Yamamoto answered trying to get Toushiro excited.

 

The elder Captains contiuned drinking thier tea, they had been through this once before and was pretty sure of what was coming.

 

"You three will be receiving Hell's Butterflies, to travel to the Human World" Yamamoto revealed "Sadly, I will not be accompaning you on this trip".

 

The Captains understood they readied themselves for the journey ahead...

 

One Week Later...

 

Toushiro was the first one to jump into the portal, followed by Captain Kuchiki, and then Unohana.

When they got out they could smell an aroma of leaves and such, they looked up and their were two massive gates. After showing the papers given to them by the Head Captain they walked in...

 

Immeadiately something caught Toushiro's glance, it was five heads engraved into a massive cliff ahead.

"Where are we...?" he asked himself, but a pink head girl to the right answered...

 

"Konohagakure" Sakura responded, she was in her late teens and had a two black gloves on. "Follow me and I'll lead you to Lady Tsunade..."

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter Two]

 

The three Captains were led by Sakura up a long hallway. Finally, Toushiro got the courage to ask her, her name.

 

"Its Sakura... Sakura Haruno" She smiled and contiuned up the long hall way. Finally they entered Lady Tsunade's room.

 

Byakuya walked in first and stood behind the large desks, as the other two Captains flowed in...

 

"Welcome to Konoha!" Tsunade said putting away a stack of paper. "Yamamoto... Is it?" Tsunade asked looking over at Toushiro. "He sent a kid?" She asked herself in her mind, but could not let it out.

 

Byakuya spoke "Captain Yamamoto could not make it, we will be fighting for you" Byakuya did not trust these Humans, he tried to sense their Reiatsu, but felt nothing...

 

"Oh, I am Tsunade, Leader of the Village Hidden in the Leaves!" She spoke still looking at Hitsugaya.

 

This bothered Toushiro. "A woman... as head captain?" he accidently blurted out.

 

"I am not a Captain, I am the Kage, Hokage to be exact!" said Tsunade slightly annoyed. "My grandfather founded the village"

 

Unohana was happy, back in the Soul Society she was part of the "Shinigami Women's Society" and was happy to see a woman as a leader, but like the other captains had numerous questions.

 

"Sit, Sit" Tsunade annouced motioning Sakura to get some chairs. They sat and like always Toushiro was the first to ask a question.

 

"Where are the warriors, Zanpaktous?" asked Toushiro. He knew they were humans, but they must have something to defend themeselves, because they had no Reiatsu which meant no Kidou.

 

"Zanpaktou?" Sakura asked interupptingly, Tsunade shot her an awakard glance and sat back down.

 

Unohana grabbed her sword. "These Zanpaktou!" she answered in his quiet voice. Although, she knew Yamamoto would never send them out on a suicide mission, this seemed as such...

 

"Oh, Swords you mean?" asked Tsunade. She too wondered what mercenaries she had hired. "Not all ninja, have swords"

 

Just then Naruto walked in... "Grandma, time for another missio-" he stopped. "Who are they?" he asked in a obnoxious tone.

 

"Guests, Naruto" Tsunade thought for a second. "...Perfect" she said in her mind. "Since we are unclear on the ways each other fights its going to be a duel between Naruto and the kid there!" she said pointing in Hitsugaya's direction.

 

"Damn" Toushiro let out. "I have to fight a human, how am I not going to kill him?" he asked Byakuya. For once Byakuya had no answer, nevertheless they walked out onto the training grounds.

 

Toushiro drew his sword. "I won't even need Shikai for you!" he said towards Naruto.

 

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Naruto yelled "Well, see about that!" he responded under his breath. Suddenly five Narutos appeared at once. This caused a sudden gasp from Unohana, Byakuya, and Toushiro!"

 

"What the hell are you?" Hitsugaya questioned dodging one of the Shadow Clones. One appeared behind him and kicked him in the back of the head! He was quick to recover though and slashed and destroyed one of the Shadow Clones.

 

"Rasengan!" Naruto yelled putting his hand behind his back and waiting for a Shadow Clone to make it. Toushiro was in trouble...

 

"Rain Over the Frosted Heavens, Hyōrinmaru!" he screamed and his sword grew in length. Now Tsunade and Sakura gasped.

 

"This power!" Tsunade said to Sakura. She was feeling like she was about to black out.

 

"RAASSEENNGAANNN!!!" Naruto screamed leaping towards Toushiro with the orb in hand.

 

"Hyōrinmaru!" Hitsugaya's sword made the familiar ice dragon and lauched it at Naruto.

 

There was going to be alot of destruction....

 

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter Three]

The attacks collided....

 

"Uraahhh!" Naruto screamed forcing his Rasengan through the Ice Dragon "What kind of Justu is this?" He asked himself, still barely pulling through. He could see his forearm starting to get frozen droplets on it.

 

Toushiro gritted his teeth, he had to raise his Reiatsu to keep Hyōrinmaru stable. Then suddenly an explosion, Hyōrinmaru dropped to the ground and melted into it, and Naruto was on the ground with his arm half frozen...

 

"I'll show you the difference between Soul Reapers and Humans, BANK-" Suddenly Byakuya appeared in front of him with his hand blocking the sword.

 

"That is quite enough, don't you think Captain Hitsugaya?"

 

Toushiro was shaking "I almost let a human, bring out my Bankai!" he was frusterated in himself.

 

"Naruto!" Sakura screamed running towards Naruto body lying motion-less on the ground. "Lady Tsunade Help!"

 

Tsunade ran over to Naruto and made a seal around him. And begin performing medical Justu. This intrigued Unohana being that in the Soul Society she was the main nurse.

 

"He is okay" Unohana said to Sakura who was shaking. "I can feel his prescence"

 

"She's Right" Tsunade reassured, "He doesn't even need medical Justu, just some rest"

 

Off in the distance behind the trees, Zetsu was half in the ground and half up "Heh heh, those are the fools Lord Madara was looking for..." and dissapeared back into the ground.

 

Byakuya noticed Zetsu's pressure, he looked over and was gone, so Byakyuya ignored it and took his hand off of Toushiro... "You have disgraced, the Law of the Soul Society by injuring a human..." Byakuya picked up Hyōrinmaru. "Here take your zanpaktou, and earn back your Honor!"

 

Hitsugaya felt horrible, he had truly disgraced the Soul Sociey. It was just that magic he was using, it felt like he could fight full strength. He walked over to Sakura, but couldn't say anything. He saw Sakura crying and she looked just like his beloved Momo...

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter Four]

Akatsuki Hideout...

 

Zetsu was walking in the dark corridor looking for is master. Madara was standing in an octagonal shaped room reading a book. "Lord Madara, I have found, those you have requested..."

 

Madara looked up, he had his Tobi mask on, for he felt it was not time to reveal himself yet...

"Good, Good, Sosuke Aizen told me they would come!" He looked thorough his eye hole at Zetsu who was standing in his usual attire. "When Sosuke, departed he told me about the deal that was made..." he was torn. "Should I tell, Zetsu?" He asked himself. "No, I can't, Sosuke's secret must remain hidden...".

 

Zetsu looking at his master's awkard face decided to dissapear in the ground... He reappeared next to Itachi Uchiha and his parter Kisame Hoshigaki.

 

"Creeper..." Kisame said looking down at Zetsu's half hidden body. "We are busy, leave us!" He ordered.

 

Itachi looked stern "It is fine Kisame, I'm are just watching my brother's training" he said looking through his Sharingan. "He is almost ready..."

 

Konoha...

 

Toushiro was laying in his bed, still thinking about Sakura's face. Tsunade had given each Captain a room to stay in, and it just so happened his was one with cartoon bears in it. "I wonder if she knows, I'm older than she is...?" he asked himself, trying hard to laugh. He finally went to sleep and dreamt...

 

"Toushiro!!!" Momo said looking at the body of Hitsugaya laying on the ground... "Please wake up, please!"

 

Starrk was looking at the body he had just shot. "This is the strength of a Captain... The older ones were much stronger..." he said outloud. He was in his full "Los Lobos" form and looked angry. "Move out of the way girl!" he commanded, but Momo would not move.

 

Then the explosion was heard... the Killing Kidou was just performed.

 

"What.. the... Hell?" Starrk asked Momo not wanting in answer, Starrk did not care what happened, as long as Lilynette and himself was safe he did not care...

 

"Toushiro... please wake up!" Momo screamed looking at the bloody Toushiro.

 

"I can't die, not like this..." Hitsugaya said to himself, he was playing dead.

 

"Fine, then Die girl!" Starrk screamed shooting one last shot out of Los Lobos. Momo layed on the ground motionless, and dead. Toushiro woke up crying thinking about that day, when he cared more about his honor than his own beloved...

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter Five]

Byakuya woke up and had an angry look on his face, in the Soul Society his bed was grand, his new bed was tiny at that and did not suit the Luxary that was the Kuchiki lifestyle. Regardless, he got up and walked outside, and saw a man with long spiky white hair and looked about his mid- 60's.

 

Jiraiya was looking at the rising sun like he always did, he looked behind him and there was a man and long dress robes with long black hair and a frown on his face. "Tsunade told me about you, Kuchiki correct?"

 

"Captain Kuchiki" Byakuya corrected, he did not want to see mean but did not appreaciate not being called by the proper sur-name. "And you are...?" He asked approachingly.

 

"Jiraya, umm Sannin Jiraiya" Jiraiya answered trying to sound official "But, umm you can Jiraya, though..."

 

"Then you may call me Byakuya" Kuchiki responded with his hand on his sword "Never trust... humans!" he reminded himself. "That magic, you shini-" He remembered "Ninjas use, how do you make Kidou do that?"

 

"Kidou?" Jiraiya questioned puzzlingly

 

"The young one with the yellow hair, he performed magic on Captain Hitsugaya, What is it?"

 

"You mean... Justu?"

 

"Yes, Jutsu" In fact Byakuya knew this was not Justu it was kidou, but he let Jiraya finish.

 

"We use our chakara, too" He stopped. "I guess it really is like magic..."

 

Then suddenly there was an explosion, "Amaterasu!" Byakuya heard coming through the door. Then an dark haired man and a blue skinned man stepped into the door.

 

"Hello, shinigami!" Kisame said bloodthirsty. "We're here to kill you!". Itachi looked at Byakuya and his eyes shifted, towards Jiraya who closed his eyes...

 

"Don't look into his eyes!" Jiraiya yelled he and this Byakuya were a team against two Akatsuki members!!!....

 

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter Six]

Byakuya looked over at the blue skinned man. At first he noticed that both men were wearing a jacket with red clouds on it, then he noticed the blue skinned man's zanpaktou, he would be Byakuya's opponent. Byakuya drew it sword and prepared for battle.

 

"Look at that pathetic sword!" Kisame said "Samehada will show you what a true sword is" Kisame drew his massive sword and ran towards Byakuya...

 

"Too slow!" Byakuya annouced parrying Samehada, Byakuya flash stepped backwards and quietly said "Scatter Senbonzakura Kageyoshi!" The swords blade turned pink and was replaced with hundreds of cherry blossoms, that shot quickly towards Kisame.

 

"Phoenix Flower Justu" Itachi spoke for the first time as fire came out of his mouth and hit the chery blossoms which dissapeared one by one. This was Jiraiya's shot he ran towards Itachi and hit him in the face, sending Itachi flying backwards.

 

Suddenly Kisame swung his massive sword at Jiraiya which hit him at full impact, he pulled Samehada out of Jiraiya which left a huge gash in his left shoulder. "Water Release: Water Shark Missile Technique" Kisame screamed and out of his opened mouth came a shark that hit Jiraiya square in the chest, as Jiraiya fell, Byakuya spoke:

 

"Senbonzakura Senkei!" The sky went dark and in a full circle numerous glowing pink swords appeared around the four... Byakuya had been forced to go into his Bankai....

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter Seven]

Itachi look around at the pinkish-white swords. They were illuminated with a glowing sensation. "This isn't Genjustu...Its Real" he said aloud.

 

"Damn... What the Hell is this?" Kisame yelled not wanting a answer he started to perform hand signs.

 

"He's trying to perform...Justu?!?!" Byakuya said in his mind, he looked down at his hand which was swordless, and with a slight twitch a sword fell and arrive in his hand. "I only show my Bankai" he stopped "To those I want to kill!". He though about Ichigo, but decided not to tell this fact.

 

"Senbonzakura!" He said and suddenly on the glowing swords, were dropping straight towards Kisame and Itachi. "You were strong for Humans!" Byakuya said turning around, but as soon as he did he stared into the face of Itachi, not just the face the EYES!!!

 

The swords ceased to move and stood in place. "Heh, heh!" Kisame said aware of what was happening, "Remember, Don't kill him we just need to test him..."

 

Byakuya opened his eyes, "Wwwheere...Where am I?" he asked himself in a daze. He looked around it was dark, but still there was light he looked up at the sky and there it was the moon, moonlight was lighting up the place. Byakuya hunched forward trying to move, but couldn't. He was restrained and noticed he was on a stone tablet.

 

"Tsukuyomi!" Byakuya heard, the sound was coming from nowhere. Then suddenly thousands of his foes appeared, thousands of Itachis.

 

Byakuya tried to look for his sword, he needed protection, but couldn't find it. For the first time in years, he was powerless. "Ww..hh..at kind of magic is this?" he asked the Itachis. They ran towards him or appeared he couldn't really tell because of his blurred vision. He felt a deep pain in his stomach, "Aaah!" he said trying to not scream he looked down and their were three swords in him. But it wasn't over they kept coming and kept stabbing for what seemed like hours...

 

"Seven minutes!" Itachi exclaimed in his head "He truly is a formidable foe". Now Itachi spoke aloud "You called your ultimate power...Bankai, did you not?" Itachi contiuned still hearing the urks of pain of Byakuya "Well in respect to your tradition," He paused "This is my Bankai!"....
