Zauls
I've been wanting to do this for a while, but I have only just got round to doing it. [spoiler=Gold Rares]Step 1:If you haven't done so, download GIMP, you can find links to GIMP downloads on Google.Step 2:Copy + Paste or open the card you want to make into a gold rare.Step 3:Use the Path Tool and draw a path around the card. Then draw another on the inside of the black border border.NOTE: When you are connecting the two ends of the path, hold down Ctrl or they won't connect.[spoiler=Screen Shot] Step 4Go to Select (in the menu at the top) and click From Path.[spoiler=Screen Shot] Step 5:Go to Colours (in the top menu) and click Colourise. Change it to 49 - 67 - 5 (You can adjust the last one slightly if it doesn't work out right, it seems to vary a bit between different cards for some reason).[spoiler=Screen Shot] Step 6:Do the same with the border around the pic except Colourise it to 49 - 45 - 5 (again, adjust it so a bit if it doesn't look perfect).[spoiler=Screen Shot] What it should look like: [spoiler=Gold Stickers]This is extremely simple, but it is also very effective.Step 1:If you haven't already done so, download GIMP.Step 2:Open up or Copy + Paste the card you want to put a Gold Sticker on.Step 3:Use the Path Tool and make a path around the Sticker on the card (do this accurately, zoom in on it by 800% for best results). NOTE: When you are connecting the two ends of the path, hold down Ctrl or they won't connect.Step 4:Go to Select - From Path (this is important, if you don't then the entire card will be recoloured).Step 5:Go to Colours - Colourise and make it 49 - 67 - 10 (this may vary, adjust it slightly if it doesn't look quite right). The results: [spoiler=Normal Holos]Step 1:If you haven't done so already, download GIMP.Step 2:Open up the pic you want to holo.Step 3:Select all of it by pressing Ctrl A.Step 4:Copy and paste one of these into your image:Step 5:In the Layers,Channels,Paths box to the right of the screen, right click on the layer with the holosheet and resize it to the size of your image.Step 6:In the same box, go to Mode - Dodge. The Results: (this will never be as good as advanced holos). [spoiler=Advanced Holos]Step 1:If you haven't done so already, download GIMP.Step 2:Open the image you want to holo.Step 3:Use the Path Tool and go around everything that you do not want to have a holo on.NOTE: When you are connecting the two ends of the path, hold down Ctrl or they won't connect.[spoiler=Screen Shot] Step 4:Go to Select (in the top menu) and click From Path.Step 5:Go to Select (in the top menu) and click Invert.Step 6:Copy either of these:Step 7:Right click somewhere that is not on the canvas and select Paste Into.Step 8:In the Layers, Channels, Paths box, go to Mode and select Dodge. The results: Thanks for looking at my Tutorials, I will add more stuff when i can. Flash Flyer - Sakura
It's a good tutorial, TheWorm. But for the Gold Rare, it's a good way to make one other than using the Gold Rare template. Well done :D

::тǿρħєя::
I like these tuts. But for the gold rare, you need to make the rope-looking effect border Gold too. Yours is still orange-ish. You must highlight that with the paths tool, hold down ctrl to highlight the inside too. Then colorize that to be gold also.
