I know I'm not Jappio... But...

Icy

If I recall you were saying how this was suppose to be a Ludicolo+Metang? If so, the metal looks more like ice. Part fo the way to fix this is probably to simplify your shading. Flat surfaces like metal and rock usually onyl have one shade per flat surface. You have multiple different shades per what I assume to be flat surfaces. Too much highlight gives it that icy look. The feet are a bit confusin in what shape they are ment to be percieved as. I just kind of see lines and colors and get a slight idea that it's kind of like a cone. Hands are another area that I think need some work. The don't look metaliic, more like boxing gloves I want to say. The way you shaded and their shape are the reasons for this.

I normally don't comment, but I felt I had to since you had me in the title =P. Also although I did go over ways how you could fix this splice, there are things I liked. THe way you shaded it, although wrong, mustn't have been easy I'm guessing. So although the wrong approach, the approach itself was impressive in a way.
