I wonder what kinds of animals they'll use for X9?

I always suggested a jellyfish for the series, but that was before Gigabolt Man-O-War in X8.

Hm....Sword Fish, Turkey, Parrot, Panther, Roach, Porcupine, Gorilla, Rotweiler.

They'll all work extremely well if Capcom goes retro and makes the game 16-bit.

Didn't they already use Gorilla and Roach? I would go for Starfish and Unicorn. The Unicorn could be like Splash Woman' date=' the first female Maverick Boss.

lol there already is a female irregular as a Boss

and that is Ferham from Command Mission

No. Not in the X series, anyways. I don't care about what they used in the Zero and ZX series. That's different. I guess.

As for the other 2, Starfish is ehh, but the Unicorn sounds like a cool idea. But I don't care about it being a female. It could be a manly Unicorn like Flame Stag was a win-moose-thing. :D

Here's what I was thinking:

Steel Swordfish

Blast Gorilla

Techno Turkey

Sonic Parrot

Atomic Roach

Razor Panther

Blaze Porcupine

Target Hound

:D

But she isn't an animal. So forget her.

Ferham owes much of her look to that of a bird, particularly one of prey, like a harrier. Although she is a combat capable flight Reploid, she is quite feminine and has a subtle, yet sadistic streak to her. She is however intensely loyal to her commander, Epsilon and protects him fiercely from X and Zero. =_=" she is a BIRD -_- . Even tho she is a humanoid irregular she has wings and stuff similar to birds =3=

Command Mission is non-canon and therefore' date=' Ferham doesn't count.

BTW, Gorilla has been used. Remember Soldier Stonekong in X7?

[/quote']

I do.

And the roach was already used, remember Boomer Kuwanger from the very first Megaman X?

On a side topic, like Kuwanger was Gravity Beetle's Brother, the Unicorn Maverick could be the sister of The Skiver.

Oh yeah. I often forget he's a gorilla.

It says that his name is derived from Kuwagata, which is Japanese for Stag Beetle.

dude command mission was just like Megaman & Bass on the SNES/GBA(ported later) which was considered as 8.5

thus we can consider that CM was 8.5 aswell since the action takes place in 22XX after the jacob project

It IS said to be cannon. It's currently the last game in the series chronologically.

So......yeah, I agree with Dark Spine.
