Jacoby746
Im going to get one of them, so I want to know which is better. Please give a reason. And by reason, I don't mean "You should get 360 cause it has Halo" or anything like that.

Flame Dragon
360 is an online system. If you want to play with friends get this. However most of its exclusives are FPS and of those a good number aren't true exclusives since you can also get them on a PC. The failure rate (over 50%) is also a major turn off. PS3 is a blueray player giving it a nice selling point right their. It also has a larger verity of exclusive games the 360. However it doesn't have many really good exclusives ATM. However in the next year this is likely to change. I say go with the PS3 but that is mainly because I'm more of a single player gamer.

staticrevenger
^lolwrong. PS3 has marginally better graphics, but the live play isn't as comprehensive and entertaining as the XBOX. PS3 also has a Blu-Ray player and free Live. XBOX has a better controller, and some nice exclusives (L4D, Halo 3) Basically comes down to your preferences. PS3 has more features, while XBOX has a large and satisfying Live experience. For me it'd have to be the PS3.

♥ ЅϯᵲåώӀӞ℮ᴙʀɣ−ɴɨɨ−ƈħåɴ ♥
Depends entirely on what you want. IMO, the Xbox 360 has already "won" this generation, but as long as the PS3 can get more games out onto the market within the next year or two, it will have a chance. Honestly, the only reason why I'd personally get a PS3 would be GoW III, and that's it. That's just not convincing enough. The Xbox 360 has tons of multiplayer games for me to choose from. Even with the pay-for Xbox Live and other problems.
Tkill93
I prefer my 360 mainly because of the online. Back when I used to play my Ps3 the online community was better and a lot more mature (I say back when because I haven't played my PS3 online in a few months, and with the price drop I'm not so sure about the community anymore) but I prefer the features and functionality of the 360's online. The community is larger, so finding intelligent guys to play with is a little more challenging but it gets easier the more you play. I don't care about the free vs pay to play argument because I have a job, and paying for the 360's online is not a problem for me.

♥ ЅϯᵲåώӀӞ℮ᴙʀɣ−ɴɨɨ−ƈħåɴ ♥
"Winning" as in general global satisfaction. And I meant by game satisfaction. Sales and picture quality mean nothing right now. But the Wii does downright suck. And besides, the video quality between the 360 and the PS3 isn't THAT much. Many people who have both really don't care too much; they just decide upon the games. And that's why I said IMO and personally. I like GoW III, and I like multiplayer FPS's and the such. The FPS games on the PS3 aren't that great and don't have that many people on it, so I'd rather just go to the 360 and play Xbox Live. If not for GoW III, I would never consider getting a PS3. I'm already happy with all the SP games on the PS2. I wouldn't need to buy a PS3 just to try the new SP games.
Cyber Altair
Why does Graphic always pop into conversation from gaming noobs? Quality means quality not "zomg sexy graphics". Which the PS3 does better anyway. Drake says hola jabroni, so does LBP, Resistance, MGS4, Infamous and Valkyrie Chronicles. Also most of the FPS games on the 360 are on the PS3 anyway. ♥ ЅϯᵲåώӀӞ℮ᴙʀɣ−ɴɨɨ−ƈħåɴ ♥
Unlike people like you (I'm assuming), I don't spend half my life playing video games. And I never said that the MP games for the 360 weren't on the PS3. I know they are, but the major community that plays them are mostly on the 360. And besides, I'd want to play with my friends, rather than some random kids who end up yelling and crying and stuff. And let me reiterate: I PERSONALLY like the 360 over the PS3. Dark
Get the Wii, it's owns both systems combined. Sorry, a bit off-topic. I'd say PS3, mostly because the only reasons Microsoft fanboys can come up with is Halo.

Admiral Tim
if you want good graphics and bluray get ps3, this tends to be more adult to teen based due to the game ratings, if you are younger or just wanna have fun,get a wii, it is a good starting console, if you want to cheap out and have a better selection on games, get xbox360 pros and cons:wii-cons:pretty expensive it is 300$ so if you have the money choose wisely. - lots of exercises lots of money spent, (wii wheel, motion plus e.t.c.) - some hard to use controls Wii-cons: Lots of game selection. - lots of child friendly games. (also has teen ones.) - can play gamecube games. PS3 cons: Lots of money PS3 slim is 300$ plus controllers and bluray remote, if you want to use this at it's full potential get a flat-screen hi-def tv.(NOTE: this is a big commitment and uses alot of money.-Not a good game selection, a PS3 game selection is very limited.-while wii is motion controlled,ps3 is back to hand held (abxy buttons) controls. PS3 Pros- Great graphics-bluray player. -More adult and teen games. - it is now 300$ not 400$ Xbox360 cons-moderate graphics -almost no one likes these - just some games that you could get for wii. Xbox360 pros-better selection of games than PS3 -cheaper Best games wii-Super Smash Bros.Brawl.-Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess,-metroid trilogy. Best games-PS3-Little big planet,Infamous, call of duty Best games-Xbox360-Banjo kazooie,-Halo,-grand theft auto.
Flame Dragon
"Winning" as in general global satisfaction. And I meant by game satisfaction. The general public like the Wii best. Also in Japan' date=' one of the centers of the gaming universe, the 360 sells poorly. As for games, the Wii has many good games. lol, the Wii is a bad joke. Not it isn't. Yea their aren't really any "go around shoot things games" which are the main selling games now a days (that and Rock Band style games) it has many good single player games. That is only helped by the fact that it's online is bad. As for the good games their are:Muramasa, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Brawl, Mario Kart, Twilight Princess, TvC, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, No More Heroes, MadWorld (this is a game you can't tell me you wouldn't get if it was on the 360), Super Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 (This is a good game believe or not, but yea, most people won't play it), de Blob (another game most people would over look), Conduit, and Wii Sports Resort. Also Metroid: Other M, Red Steel 2, NMH 2, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii and SMG 2 all look like they will be good. I understand why some people don't like the Wii (that reason being it's online, or lack there of of a good one) but it's game line up is a good one. Hell one of those games I listed is 3 games in 1. Also if some one want me to make a list for the other 2 I'll try. While I don't own either system I know both systems well enough to pick out a fair number of the good exclusive games. Cyber Altair
I'm just not in the demographic that Nintendo now tries to cater. That fact is what annoys me the most. Also I love how many idiots say the PS3 has a small game selection. It has every multi platform the 360 has and a better exclusives line-up. Seriously, how do you do it?
