I don't like Jaden personally. Jim, Jessie, Zane, and Tyranno are the best! I don't like Jaden or YUGI. YAMI YUGI is different. YAMI could defeat Jaden, YUGI couldn't.

He always draws the card he needs at the right time...sounds like it could be three things to me. Take your pick:

a)Dumb luck.

b)Bad Writing.

c)Deus Ex Machina

d)All of the above

 

I pick D. Now, has Yugi gotten luck? Yes. But, he has also pulled off many combos without having to kiss up to Lady Luck-Jaden ALWAYS pulls the card he needs and is ALWAYS losing; however, if the plot needs it, then *POOF!* A Miracle Fusion! Or the right E-Hero! A 1:27 chance we'll say and he gets the EXACT CARD HE NEEDS!

 

Also, E-Heros are cliche. Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast is kinda cool-now that it actually has SUPPORT-and Dark Paladin was awesome too. Also, let's review to villians for the hell of it:

YUGI

Pegasus-Likeable, zany personality yet downright ruthless with an awesome Toon deck; somewhat redeemable.

Marik-Had the Millenium Rod(my favorite Millenium Item), manipulative, sadistic, had a good backstory and Yami Marik had a freaky sadomasochistic Bondage Deck against Mai.

Dartz-Eh. I didn't like him much, though the Orichalcos thing-the unicursal hexagram-looked cool, as did the fact that the Legendary Dragons were named after the three sections of Plato's history of Atlantis.

Kaiba-Starts out cold and uncaring, then actually develops as the series progresses. An antiheroish character.

 

JADEN

Crowler-A lipstick-wearing, gender-confused ***hole.

Zane-He was actually one of the better ones, IMO

Haou-The "Alternate Dimension" thing was kinda stupid. Can't they just come out and say Hell or something? Damn. Or at least think of something that can appeal to an intellegent, mature audience who likes darker things.

Yubel-A transvestie who killed people AND got what they wanted in the end. Enough said. Also, it's so simple to kill their "combo".

ALL COMMENTS WERE MADE ABOUT THE ORIGINALS, NOT THE GOD-AWFUL DUBBED VERSIONS(though GX still sucks).

 

Don't forget that all you need to do is pack a few Magic Jammers and Bottomless Trap Holes to get rid off his Fusions and counter Jaden's Miracle Fusions/Fusion Gates/Skyscrapers/etc ;)

To be totally honest, both Yugi, and Jaden draw the exact card they need at the right time. So they both have the luck of the Irish.

 

If they were to ever have a match, it would probably end the same way Jaden and Zane's last duel, in the acadamy, not after Zane graduated, and that was a tie. I won't say one over the other, as that sistuation will probably never come up.

I guess this is a question of who in the end has the better deck because both of the players draw the exact cards they need at any time. Both are realitively crap characters and neither is really cooler than the other. But in a duel I think Jaden would win, Thats right, JADEN!

 

Mainly because JADEN has better cards rather than yugi, plus yugi's deck changes heaps over the course of the show. His deck gets stronger and seems prefect to kill the opponent he's versing every time. But if they were to enter a tornament were they can't change their Deck then Jaden would win because his deck is a lot stronger than yugi's. Elemental flame wingman is Sooo powerful he could nearly kill Yugi in one go if it destroyed a card like dark magician. Jaden also has a move vesatile deck than Yugi and can get out of a lot of situations. Rather than yugi's deck which practically magically conjuers up the cards to the top of the deck. Plus Yugi has no cards to remove Jadens monsters out of play so he would loose because Jaden would just keep bringing back Elemental heroes.

Yugi, he'd draw a lucky card, but the match wouldnt all be down too that one card, he'd use it and create an immense combo in which he would either win, or he would just keep the match going.

 

your insulting yugi's cards?? so what if he dosnt fuse his original monsters into 50 billion other cheesy- crap named, cheap-ass cards. He dosnt need too. And balls, yugi's deck has magically brought up the cards he's needed, but Jadens has done that SO MUCH more, and ahhaha yeah the E-heroes would so stand up to Black luster soilder, Dark Magician, or even the magnet warriors! I find it hilarious that u actually think yugi has a crap deck and that jadens is better i meen wtf?

Do you really think that Yugi's cards are good as Jaden's when he has beaver warrior, feral imp, Winged dragon of the fortress 1#, Mammoth graveyard, Silver fang and Celtic gardian not to mention heaps of other CRAP cards? Plus you'd have to take out all the banned cards out of yugi's deck and take (that stupid, annoying, always comes at the right time) Pot of greed from Jadens deck yugi's deck would suck. If you take out Monster Reborn, Change of heart, Dark hole and the other banned cards he has his deck wouldn't last a duel against any of his opponents.

 

By the way Jaden has so many fusion spells and cards to get fusion spells that its practically assured that he fuses.

 

So Jaden Wins HANDS DOWN!

Yugi would beat Jaden hands down. 2 reasons:

 

A: Yugi beat Kaiba. Jaden LOST against Kaibaman, who supposedly had the exact same deck as Kaiba.

 

B: The only reason Jaden beat Yugi's deck in episodes 18 & 19 is because it wasn't Yugi wielding the deck. If some copycat duelist was using Jaden's deck, it would be pwned by just about anyone else in the GX cast.

 

Those are my reasons. I would say Atem would beat either one of them, but Yugi beat Atem. So therefore, Yugi is #1.

yugi hadnt used black hole for ages, true he used monster reborn, but so did jaden in the 1st episode of GX, and it wouldnt be hard too swap it for reincarnation, yeha yugi had beaver warrior, feral imp, and that stuff, but he still won. jaden HAS too depend on his suck-ass e-heroes and his fusions. i meen come on, theres been one duel where jaden hasnt used fusion, and he only just managed too win that, and well said ryumancer, jaden couldnt even beat kaibaman, who was a god damn spirit, i meen come on, jaden couldnt be more of a yugi copy, and they wouldnt have made jaden a yugi copy, unless they knew yugi sucked, but heyy guess what, they did.

 

accept it man, your fighting an unwinnable battle, jaden sucks MAJOR crotch compaired to yugi, if it wasnt for jaden's childish e-heroes, he wouldnt have even made it into duel academy, hence GX wouldnt have even began

Please, Even if Jaden is the lukiest card of the game, he follows the rules, he don't use Cards that don't exist, and don't use card efects diferent from the originals, the Yugi just won 2 duels with out doble personality cheating, he is an obsesive winer who had fusion cards that he can't use with out tag team, and please we have to acept it he never returned his Granpa Deck...and he also is lucky, and cheat, anyway both deck wouldn't work with out "The heart of the cards" or the "duel spirits"....

yugi got given his grandpa's deck true, but who cares if he never gave it back? it changed a huge amount! and yugi always used real cards, i meen the only ones i can think of that werent real were the dragons. and your saying all that crap about fusion?? fusion wasnt even needed too win duels b4 GX and there no-brained crap monsters came along, i meen they've ran out of ideas so they made millions of poorly designed monsters, all with the same name as the original monster, just slightly changed.

and excuse me but i seem too recall that GX has made the most mistakes ever with card effects, so no, GX is the one that cheats, yugi isnt.

 

and who cares if Yugi swapped to Yami? where the hell in the rule books does it say that a skitzo cant play the game?? thats not cheating!! and it actually gave the show a story line! unlike GX which revolves around one squeeky voiced, big-headed, ass of a duelist, who thinks he's amazing because he has 50 billion monsters with Elemental in their name. Balls to the spirits, now THATS classified as cheating, i meen you've got some random spirit floating around you telling you which cards to use, and for the love of god if it wasnt for those stupid spirits, Jaden would have been engulfed by the shadow realm long ago

dude, yugi's deck didnt use forbidden cards back then, sure there foribidden now in GX, but still Yugi's deck has been featured in GX and it had no forbidden cards in[Apart from black lust soilder, but in GX it isnt classified as being forbidden], and it still kicked ass, the only reason Jaden beat it was cause it wasnt yugi using it, it was some crap-ass copy cat.

 

what the hell does the card shop have anything too do with this?? it wasnt even yugi's it was his grandpa's. ahahahaha Jaden would get his ass kicked by Joey or even Weevil! he dosnt deserve a shot at Kaiba let alone yugi!

 

No, yugi isnt the national champion in GX, hes the king of games, which kinda overrules every crappy compertiton or tournament in the GX series

 

so you accept it, find a dictionary or just learn to spell, and wise up
